2017 ford f350 diesel 6.7
Hi My name is Maw Tae F. Carlson...I purchased a new Ford F350 from Legacy Ford in La Grande, Oregon on Jun 2017. The VIN: 1FT8W3BT3HEB17791 First of all, at 8, 000 miles, the track bar went bed and Legacy Ford Service Department replaced it at no charge, at 21, 000 miles, its already starting to go bad again. At 20, 000 miles the water pump went bad...i am not sure how long i drove the truck before I noticed the antifreeze leak on the ground. Only reason I noticed something was wrong was the heater did not work. I took it to Legacy Ford and they replaced it at no cost. At the time I had them replace the fuel filter, oil change and the air cleaner. I am not going to complain about Legacy Ford Service Department, they did what they were supposed to do. The truck is running hot all the time...the temperature sits at about the half way mark and goes beyond it when I am on the freeway...it has never done that, it always ran at around 1/4 mark. I am afraid to say that something is wrong with the truck...the fuel mileage is not good and I feel like I purchased a lemon. I am very dissapointed since I have been a Cheverolet Duramax owner for many, many years. I can't sell it because I am sort of upside down on the deal...I don't want to pay for it and I am seriously thinking of you guys coming and getting the truck. I am 65 years old and I am really not concerned about my credit...I just went through a divorce and its wrecked anyways. I don't want the truck, its a piece of crap.
Thank You
Maw Tae F. Carlson

key replacement and lug nut problem
I went to 4 Ford dealerships today, attempting to get a key and remote for my 2016 F150. All the dealerships are located in the Minneapolis area. Two had no machine to cut the key and two had machines but they were broken. So after 4 hrs of driving around, I still have no key. I also just had to purchase 12 lug nuts because the original are defective but not under warranty. I need 12 more. Ford is aware of the problem but has done nothing for the customers who purchased their product in good faith. If this is what the Ford Brand is about, it will be my last Ford. This is my first Ford after driving GM for yearss
Sincerely
Jock Eusay
Dealerships don't have working Key Machines
And defective lug nuts
After driving 4 hours and visiting 4 dealerships in the Minneapolis area, none of the Ford dealers could sell me a key and remote. Two didn't even have a key machine (how can you sell a product and not be prepared to service it?) and the other two had broken key machines.
I just purchased 12 lug nuts for my F150 and they tell me I need 12 more. I can't believe Ford hasn't had a recall on these defective lug nuts and taken care of their customers
This is my 1st Ford, after driving GM for years. If this is what the Ford Brand represents, it will be my last
Sincerely
Jock Eusay

I purchased this vehicle and was never told about how the vehicle turns off at a red light and starts back up when you let off the brake
I dont know who came up with this idea but it is very frustrating and I was told that I cannot disengage it — only everytime after I crank the vehicle I can mash a button on the dash
Is this true?

Yeah... That feature sucks! You can, ... plug in a trailer light plug into the outlet on the bumper. If the truck thinks your towing a trailer, it wont shut off! Sucks that my 2015 F-150 was twice the truck of my 2018!
2018 ford f-250 super duty / king ranch
I've been a loyal Ford customer all my life (63 yrs. old) and have never been more frustrated with ford, about 3 mos. ago I purchased the above vehicle used from Enterprise in Middletown, PA' it had about 13 k miles on it, I traded in a 2015 F250 FX Lariat that had a "Death Wobble" that was so bad I would almost come off the road. About a month ago my King Ranch has started to wobble. My closest Ford dealer iexas Hoffman Ford in Harrisburg, PA. and i'm reluctant to have them look at it since I've taken it there 3 times for my Drivers seat that will not heat or cool and they still haven't been able to fix it, not to mention I had my Lariat there 5 times to fix my back-up camera ( This can all be verified that I'm not exagerating), plus I purchased a F250 from them years ago with a similar wobble and their Service MGR. said it was common and I would have to live with it ! In closing I havea 2018 King Ranch with a broken drivers seat and starting to wobble and nowhere I trust to take it. I've sent in complaints before in the past about other things that I've purchased and usually never get a response back, so I'm skeptical that you'll be any different, but I may become GM owner after this if I don't get some satisfaction.
replacement parts
I have a 2011 ford ranger. I am trying to get a rear axle shaft, part # AL5Z-4234-A. I am told it is on back order without any date of when it will be available. This part is not available via the aftermarket. What kind of customer service is it when I cant get the parts needed to keep a vehicle running. this is a work truck and I am now having to rent a truck.

Oh yea, over the last 10 years, I have bought 4 Ford trucks, this will probable be the last one. Above all else, I need reliability, that includes parts availabilty.
dealer service department
Been here at the dealership for three hours to fix a tire that had a nail in the side wall. I bought the protection plan for the tires, windows and dents for five years (it's a 2017 fusion I bought new). It has about 47000 miles so far and low and behold the tread was too thin for the warranty to cover; I had already agreed to but three new tires. Ok, I get it. That was hour 2 by the way. Then at hour three they say the locking lug nuts were put in wrong after I had the tires rotated... HOUR 3?! They didn't find theirs out till now... not even after telling me it would take two hours for tires, alignment and balancing... now another hour for labor to "cut them off" and obviously they haven't done the tires yet or the alignment... wow, perhaps get the job done right with people who can help and not just gouge my whole day and wallet...
2015 ford focus transmissions
I am writing this today to complain of the treatment of a problem I have with your transmissions. I have purchased a used 2015 ford focus with 70, 000 miles, and the dealership tells me the clutch is bad and needs to be replaced for $2, 000. It is at Maxwell Ford in Austin Texas. The transmissions warranty is 60, 000 miles. Also I have found that Ford has documented problems with the transmission! I have contacted Ford about this and I have received an answer that since I am the second owner, Ford wont do anything about it! I cant believe that a product that ford puts out, that is considered a lemon, you would not stand behind it! My family goes back 3 generations of fords! I've got to get this fixed because its my daughters and she is at college. I'm looking for a resolution to this problem, I don't want to have a bad taste in my mouth about your ford products, my god I have a 1965 ford mustang convertible in my garage! I would like some kind of help with the price of repairing that transmission, Any help will restore Ford to a good standing with me and I will continue to buy ford products! hope to hear from you soon. My phone number is 409. 550. 6178 My name is Brad Thompson Date is April 15, 2019
I have a 2014 Ford Focus with 55, 000 miles on it. I just purchased it from a private individual for my daughter. I have all the carfax information on it and the clutch has been replaced 3 times under warranty. Every year since 2016 and the mileage between new clutches is anywhere from 10K to 12K. Now it's in the shop requiring a 4th clutch and I was also quoted $2000 for the repair and was told Ford wouldn't cover it any longer. My dealership called Ford and opened a case with them and they agreed to pay $1260 and I am liable for the remainder. I called Ford myself hoping that if they heard directly from the consumer that they would pay it in full. NOPE. I can't believe the fact that they know there is a defect on these clutches and that after a certain point they are just not going to cover the issue any longer. So basically most of us will be replacing clutches pretty much every year to the tune of $2000. Not cool, Ford. NOT COOL.
recall on ford fusion 2011 power steering assist fault # 15518
I am the owner of a Ford Fusion SE 2011. The VIN # is 3FAHP0HA7BR102108. I had the frightening experience of losing the function of my power steering as the warning light comes on and reports " power steering assist fault." I learned how dangerous it becomes to drive without power steering when you quickly have to get out into incoming traffic while unable to steer quickly. I read my manual and took the vehicle to my Ford dealer who said he would charge me $135 diagnostic fee to determine that the problem was.. quess what?…the power steering assist fault. I went on line and learned that Ford had recalled 2011Ford Fusions for this reason. However my dealer told me my particular vehicle was NOT covered. I called the Ford customer service line myself to try to get some help with this but was told by the customer service rep that my vehicle was "outside the parameters" of the recall.
since it had been manufactured before this became an issue. I replied that clearly it was not since this car has the same exact problem the recalled cars had. She suggested I have the repairs done and hope for an extension of the recall.
I voiced my dissatisfaction with this response.
My dealer presented me with a $2100 estimate on doing this job. I said no thanks and brought my car to a local mechanic instead who agreed with me that not covering this repair under the recall was a disgrace.
I believe that there must be many other owners like myself whose vehicles fell through the cracks on this fault.
There are many owners still driving unsafe vehicles that should be notified of this serious defect and offered repair before a serious accident occurs.
I know I am not the only person who doesn't know what a power steering assist fault is .
I am requesting compensation for the charges for this repair and reconsideration of your recall notice to include ALL the vehicles that were affected.
I have also received an URGENT safety recall regarding the passenger airbag inflator.
However, my dealer cannot get the parts for four to five weeks so I am waiting now for this urgent repair to be done.
Up until now I have been a proud owner of a Ford vehicle. Not so after this experience.
I await your response.

small window in the back of the 2015 f150 truck
We have the ford f150 truck with the small window that opens the plastic strip that was keeping the small window shut fell out and the window fell out we took it to the ford dealership where we bought the truck and they said they could not order just the strip that I would have to replace the entire back window which would cost me probably 750.00 I think that is really not acceptable. I dont have 750.00 at this time all I need is the strip not an entire window if this is the only thing that can be done you sure want sell me another truck susan b williams [protected]@hotmail.com

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger with 96, 000 miles. The truck is in very good condition. The complaint I have is that the frame has rusted so bad it broke on the driver's side rear. I have never had a car that this has happened too. I read on line that this has happened to alot of people that owned a Ford ranger. I contacted Ford, however, they won't do anything. I had a friend that owned a Toyota truck and Toyota offered to fix it or buy it from him. I know now that Ford has changed the way they make frames so this doesn't happen. I am 72 years old and can't afford to just junk this truck, however, that is what I'll have to do since I can't drive it with a broken frame.

fordparts.com & ford parts
So last week I ordered parts via fordparts.com. (Order Number: FPE:[protected] Transaction Date: 04/04/19) What a huge mistake this is turning out to be. So for 3 hours of my invested time so far, plus $174.37 in costs of parts for me, I have an order placed with fordparts.com, Confirmation email with the correct address displayed 11111 Hall Rd. Ste 200 Utica, MI [protected], and fed ex tracking numbers. Upon following the tracking numbers (both of them) I get a fed ex web page that States "Delivery exception Incorrect address." As seen here https://www.fedex.com/apps/fedextrack/?tracknumbers=484489986569&cks=&emailid=CSOrdComp
And here https://www.fedex.com/apps/fedextrack/?tracknumbers=484489993663&cks=&emailid=CSOrdComp
So I do what it suggests and call FedEx, who states "only the shipper (Ford Parts) can call and correct this." So I spend some time calling Fordparts.com as per the email sent ‘with questions regarding my order, ' and I get told its not their problem to call the dealership that shipped the parts. So I then call the dealership who claims "they never shipped any parts nor have an order from me." Their Parts manager is out and unavailable. All this time, my parts are sitting on a truck in my neighboring city.. I then call fordparts.com back and waste more time as I am told, though I purchased my order from their website, and the dealership in fact are NOT the ones that shipped me the parts (they came from Livonia, MI and the dealership is in Sterling Heights) that there is nothing they can do for me. At this point I am prepared to call my credit card company and cancel the purchase out right as no one is taking responsibility for this transaction. How do I get a refund in full or get responsible parties to acknowledge their responsibilities? Thanks for your time.

2017 ford explorer
My name is Ilene Oxendine I leave in Shannon North Carolina I took my 2017 Ford Explorer to the dealership where I purchased it on December 10, 2018 because the transmission was slipping. While it was at the dealership from 12/10/2017 until February 6, 2019 there were also some recalls that the service department fixed. Two day after I picked the car up 2/8/19 it started to have the same issues with the transmission. I waited a few days before I called the service department they ask me to bring the car back in so they could connect it to the computer. The computer did not show any problem areas. I told them before I left there is something wrong with my car. The services manager said to contact them if it happens again. Well guess what it happened again only worse. I took it in and left it for a few days so they could drive it and find the problem. The issue did occur while they had the car and there were some repairs made during that stay but it did not fix the problem. I have tried to post a picture but I cant get it to post. I started taking videos of the RPM Gage and The Speedometer so they could see what was going during issue so I would have evidence to back up what I was saying. I need Ford to figure out what is wrong with my car and fix it. I bought this car in good faith and I hope they stand behind their product. Thank you for letting me vent. You can reach me at [protected]@aol.com I hope to hear from someone.
waiting for a backordered part
ON 3-15-19 dash stayed lit up. Boggus Ford Harlingen, TX said need new module, but part on back order. Its been 3 weeks now, No part yet. Boggus is doing their best to get part. Said Ford Rep is involved. We are due to return to our home in northern Iowa next week. Need to leave 4-17-19. It is so hard to believe that a brake part that controls all the brake system would be so hard to get. I just want to know what Ford is going to do to make sure we have a vehicle to get home with.
Our vehicle is a 2014 Ford Edge with less than 42, 000 miles on it. Bought new in Iowa. Boggus Ford was nice & currently gave us a car to use while here in Texas.
ford doesn’t honor warranty on parts that fly off your vehicle
Ford 2018 edge,
Keyless entry handle cover driver side, it clips off and on, to cover key slot so you can still use a key to get inside of car should your battery die on your key fob.
My wife drove car to town got out and noticed that some where between home and the store, the handle cover that covers the key lock fell off.
Called Ford they would not cover the missing part because we could not provide them with the obviously defective part, assuming door handle covers shouldn't be fly off of vehicles as drive down the road.
Its only a $15. Dollar part, pluss the bottle of paint they sell for $20.00 so you can hand paint the part, sure it's going to look swell.
The point is the poorly designed part that pops off randomly as you drive down the road, and Ford not covering replacement because we can't provide the missing part, I'm thinking super glue will solve the issue, but the bigger issue was dealing with Ford complaint department, took 3 days for them to get back to me and say no. They spend millions on advertising, instead of building a better product. I suppose if you make millions of cars and your warrant doesn't cover parts falling of you car that you can't recover would provide a lucrative revenue stream for there parts department, but this is the last Ford I'm ever going to buy.
05 f150 5.4 3 valve
I've bee licensed driver for 35 year. Owned 5 vehicle that wert Ford. That's why it's been so hard to give up on ford. 21/2years with this truck and I'm ready to try almost anything. I'll start with the spark plugs that break off when you try to change the. Now ill mention phazer cam issues. the phazer cam is a doozie. 1200-2500 if you can find a trustworthy mechanic. That's after buying a bid scan tool. Coils plus (scared to try) oxygen sensors, mass air flow sensor, timing selinoids. That's the things replaced trying to avoid phazer cams. Need to run good enough to trade in on different make. I'll even give them 70 dollars in plugs that I'm scared to change. I've tried hard not to give up on Ford, this 3 valve puts a bad taste in my mouth. Sorry you gotta hear this, thanks for letting me vent.
I think the engineer that design them cylinder heads should come change my plugs and phazer cams.
Whatever happened to ford proud? I used to defend Ford so hard and was so dedicated to Ford that this is hard to do.
Thank you for listening, ill tell everyone I can.
service department
Horrible dealer. I purchased my first Ford Bronco from them in 1989 and swore I'd never buy from them again. Well many years later I gave them another shot and got a CPO Expedition Limited. Week #2 with the truck the a/c blower motor failed in 98 degree temperatures. I was on the hook for the $100 deductible and at the same time they were supposed to...

On jan. 31, 2019 I went to the ford dealership to claim my "winning from the scratch off ticket which of course was only $5.00! Upon talking to the sales person whose name was vincent rita said that I could get out of my ford lease due to my monthly payments. I agreed to get out of it so he showed me a car that was more economical for me but I wasn't impressed so he then brought me the ford escape titanium (which I really liked) so after 4 long hours of convincing me he brought in another sales person to show me the price and with the $7, 000.00 I put down I believed that price would be taken off the price he showed me and confirmed that"everything else" is included in price. He knowingly knew the price I was paying for the leased car I had for a few months was high for me so he then did all this figuring making it sound like a good offer on the ford titanium and after signing both papers I then noticed the price was higher and that I am now paying 5.9% for 84 months making it over $31, 200.00 for a 2015 vehicle! I am furious with this type of sales pitch and want out! I am expecting a substantial outcome in my favor with this dealership.
2012 ford expedition
Dear Sir, I have been a Ford customer since 1994, through the years we bought the Tempo, Probe, E-150 conversoin vans, and several E-150 econoline wagons, (Cheatue). A few years back I got a 2012 Expidition from Chapman Ford here in Philadelphia, Pa.with less than 50K miles. Today with 74K miles on it I was told that I needed new struts at the cost of $2, 200. This is difficult for me to understand, others who have the same vehicle with over 100K miles never had strut replacement. Was there any type of recall on these struts? Not a complant, just looking for some answeres, and maybe a better repair cost, many thanks. Jerry Driza Vin Number 1FMJU2A54CEF59164 CELL [protected]
2014 ford focus
I bought this car just over a years ago. During this year it has been in the shop 4 times (3 for the transmission 1 to replace the cat $600 within 3 months of purchase) during the year it has been in the shop around 3 mouths out of the 12 and as of right now it's still there going on 6 weeks. (transmission again) I can't get rid of it because trade in now is 1/3 of what I owe the bank. The transmission is junk but they just piece it together with a few new parts and send me on my way. It will work for around 3 months then back to the shop. I have bought 3 trucks (f-150) from ford and this dealer, my 3 son's have bought trucks here also and never had a problem but this car is junk and is turning me into a nissan person real fast. I need this car gone before that happens. Ford needs to do right about this, they know it's a problem but as far as I can tell is doing not much about it. I will say they will loose big if I take my truck buying to nissan because of this... Don't know what else to say but step up ford about this you will loose more in the long run...
