krogers does not care about employees hygiene
Krogers does not care about employees hygiene I know an employee that does not wear deodorant brush his teeth or wash his clothes u all still let him work for u he hasn't showered in two months thats nasty.
suspended imdefinitely
I was recently suspended indefinitely from Kroger. I've been working there for about 6 months and had 2 no call no shows and the most recent absence I called and for because the starter went out in my car. I look for a ride all day and couldn't find 1 so I called back up there. I told my boss I couldn't find a ride and probably wasn't going to make it in I came in the next morning for my shift and they told me to come sign a piece of paper and go home. it said I was going to get suspended indefinitely. if I talk to my union representative what are the odds that I will get my job back?

Some Krogers are located in smaller cities - like county seats where people who work there live miles away in a rural area. It would take 3 days for my friend to walk to his Kroger...although come to think about it...he has what? 15 brothers sisters inlaws that could schlep him to work in a pinch. And I don't see any "no hitchhiking" signs along any of those rural roads. We may not be talking about a Kroger employee living in the Bronx here.
Two no shows no calls? What is it about showing up for work EVERY DAY and ON TIME that you don't get? Hasn't anybody ever told you that showing up for work on time and everyday is #1 #2 and #3 on your list of "things to do." EVERYDAY! I know a few of those grouchy union-empowered Kroger employees that YOU forced to do extra workl; and you can assume you're fired. I can't think of a worse bunch to pimp. The suspension is just Kroger going through the paperwork with the union. You should receive the pink slip any day now. And btw - you deserve it.
Two no call no shows? What is it about showing up for work every single day, that you don't get? FYI, showing up for work on time is #1, #2, and #3 on your list of "things to do" every day. If it wasnt for that union you'd be out on the street probably long ago. And knowing some Kroger employees as I do, I bet they get even with ya...probably working on it right nowl
kroger threw away my wallet?
Hi, Kroger!
Me again!
Let's review our one month "anniversary", shall we?
-I leave my wallet at the 11th St. store here in the Heights in Houston due to a problem with a homeless man and security and trying to get out of a bad situation quickly at Jesus' cashier station (yes, I know my cashier...I even know he works only till 1 p.m., so I never see him in the afternoon
-By 2 p.m. I miss my wallet, go back to your Customer Service where an employee gives me a blank look and shows me a box full of junk which is the "lost and found"...I decide to talk to Jesus the next morning...I go home, reassured that Jesus has put my wallet in a special safe place.
-The next morning, I see Jesus and he reassures me my wallet is at Customer Service
-Once again, I get a blank look and the box full of junk is shown to me again
-The stalling begins...until I insist someone tell me what is going on
-I am told that my wallet has been thrown away (!), the cash in my wallet has been returned to the cash drawer, my credit cards have been cut up and my driver's license has been mailed back to me
I then accept $40 from the Kroger manager, because at this point my husband is out of town working on a movie "A Night in Old Mexico" and I have no way to replace my credit cards until he returns on Friday (and this would be Wednesday)
-so during my daughter's first week back at school, I now have only $40 to possibly fill up my gas tank until Friday
-I pray for no emergencies as I am so out of luck
-I talk to a nice Kroger main office person, Elizabeth Hulding who offers me $30 on my Kroger Plus card for emergency groceries. I accept, because at this point I believe my local Kroger manager that it is all a big mistake
-Now, here we are. One month later. No driver's license in the mail. I did manage to touch base with Rob Hamilton, who apparently thinks it's OK to yell at customers and tell me that Kroger "did me a favor". He said he reviewed the video tape and assured me it was only $3 in my wallet (I'm fairly sure it was more like $15), but here's a even funnier point: I asked him if he could see my social security card and he said "No, the video was too grainy". How did he even know it was my wallet?
-I checked with all the attorney friends I know and they basically said that Kroger has an entire phalanx of attorneys and that if my Kroger manager had personally attacked me physically in the store, they could prove it was my fault
-Here's an even funnier story: A good friend of mine left her ENTIRE PURSE OUTSIDE a Costco here in Houston for the same 5 hour period, and the lovely manager there actually saved it for her until she gets back
-Here's an even more funny story: I plan to contact everyone I know, everywhere I can until I get my driver's license back. Yes, I can't do anything legally because you all have me outgunned, but I can let everyone know how awful Kroger treats its 20-year customers. And yes, I now shop totally at HEB.

I dont know why people are attacking you. accidents happen to ANYONE. those people complaining at your complain will one day have the misfortune of loosing their wallet or their keys. What Kroger did was completely wrong, they are all incredibly stupid which is why they are working at Kroger. Sorry that this all happened to you, I as well hate Kroger.
You did all that instead of putting a stop on the credit cards and going down to the DMV to get a new license - and just consider it case closed...and post a pity pot story here, all over a measily 15 bucks? Just wondering...at some time in the past did somebody mistake your head for a pinata?
It sounds like Krogers does not need customers if they treat them this way.
Thanks for the heads up.
All it would have taken is a phone call from the store at most.
Good luck with the cards and ID
Be my guess.
Security should of let the homeless man go and grabbed your wallet and came running after you .
here is yet the funniest story
you're an entire airhead and should not breed
bad service
Went to place and order for a birthday cake. No one ever ask if I needed help.I had to ask who was in charge of the bakery. Finally a young man looked up and ask what I need? He was very nice. I told him what I wonted and if he could do what I ask? He proceeded to ask the cake decorator. Which is who should have took my order. She looked up and was very nasty and said, I don't know if I can do that and countiue to walk off. The young man didn't know what to say to me. So I proceeded to ask if she could call me and let me know ahead of time if she could put the hello kitty pic on the cake. She snapped at me and said, I said I cant then apologized for snapping. And said im not as good as the last cake decorator. I told the young men thanksgivingsc anyway and left. Do not ever get a cake from that krogers. She needs to find a new profession.

The Kroger on Grant Line Road in New Albany. On 8/16/2016 at about 7:00 P.M., I entered Kroger. I thought my car would be safe in plain view of busy pharmacy window, traffic, and customers.
My tire was slashed, and police reviewed video, and they saw a white male in a red truck slash my tire, but Kroger manager refused to identify the slasher.
You are assuming Kroger knew who the slasher was...
My complaint is to Kroger. located on Austin peay highway, in Memphis tn. The cole slaw on display had turned dark brown; the date was still good but it was quite obvious the cole slaw was no good. I just can't imagine how they would have that on the shelf for sale.
On appx Aug 18 I purchased a 35-piece boneless Buffalo wing entree. I counted it when I got home and found it to contain only 27 pieces.
On Aug 20 I returned a bottle of horseradish that I hadn't noticed to be already opened when I purchased it. I mentioned to the manager(?) that my chicken wing count was so far off. I did NOT have my receipt for the chicken - probably forgot it at the self checkout.
The manager(?) scanned my shopper's card and offered me 60 cents for the missing chicken stating they had been marked down to 10 cents per wing. I protested that I had paid $8.99 for the wings and that she could see that on the computer screen in front of her. (Yeah, I know, her math was off.)
She replied in a very smartalek fashion that she was trying to help me out and that without my receipt...
As if she didn't have a record of my purchase in front of her. As if I was truthful about the count but not about the price I paid. As if any company can afford to alienate a customer.
So I bought the things I absolutely needed right away and left. I don't plan to go back - not to any Kroger - unless I receive an apology and more reasonable compensation.
This chain drove my wife to Giant Eagle quite some time back. I used to favor Kroger because their stores are more conveniently located to our home and most of my shopping is quick trips for small purchases. But it's not much trouble to drive past a Kroger to find a store that seems to value their customers.
"Licensed Stuff?" Pah-leez.
Whattya afraid the "Cake Police" are gonna storm the store and arrest the girl behind the bakery counter and they'll throw her in prison to languish with all those tough women who don't...
poor customer service
Our Kroger employees in Michigan are union and they sure act like it. Surly, unfriendly, always bickering among themselves over who works when, who did what, who didnt do whatever, ignore customers at all costs...kinda like an auto plant only with freezers and produce. Sickening to watch.
But up here we also have Meijers. I don't know if the employees are union...if they are, you'd never know.it. They are friendly and would never treat a customer like that one did you.
unsafe environment
I purchased groceries out of kroger grocery store. An employee was outside watering the plants. Water flowing everywhere. I tried to make it to my car with no such luck. Fell on my tail. Groceries were soaked. I was scraped up. In return, no I am sorry would you like something to clean your scrapes, nothing! Had me to fill out a incident report. A joke. Kroger said they are not responsible for what happened to you, your clothes, or your srapes. How about in return I will never shop this food chain in my life.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Did you look to confirm that the employee was "watering the plants" with a hose?
discrimination is my best guess <.<
I went to Krogers today to pick up some iced tea because my husband enjoys drinking it. Everything went fine until I went to the check out lane & the employee who bagged my drink asked me when I was due! Look I know that I'm fluffy (fat) but I'm not pregnant! Look, I have a hard enough time tying to lose the weight I've got to loose with out someone asking...
Read full review of Krogernot refilling prescriptions on time
I drop off my prescriptions on regular basis and only at the point of refill time because my insurance will not refill any medications early. The Kroger Pharmacy then takes not just extra time in the day, but extra days to fill a medication that I have had filled there on a monthly basis for months. I am to take my medications on a daily basis and because of their inability to provide me my medication on a timely basis, instead they keep my system in chaos due to their negligence. I would love to find another pharmacy that my insurance would pay for and I know there are a few, but none close enough to be convenient. Can't anyone in anyplace actually do their job anymore ? Unbelievable .
Again Today I find myself in the same situation AGAIN ! Its beyond my belief that after speaking with the Pharmacy Manager that Kroger still cannot seem to order enough medications of the ones' they sell each month to keep customers in the medications they Need to survive., They really should have their ability to sell drugs Removed.
Do I really need to answer that? If your neighbor won't knock off a store for you, but your brother will, does that make your neighbor right? Just because someone else does something they are not supposed to, does not make the ones who actually follow the law wrong. Jesus. When the across the street get their license pulled where you gonna go?
We're just not that stupid. there is no federal law making you wait until the 31st day to fill any script. There may be a date on it from the physician but no law. Uh yeah, the neighbor is right.
Why is it then, that thirty minutes after i left Kroger, i went across the street at your competitors and they were very friendly and filled my prescription. There are other pharmacies in the same area that will fill my prescription also. You Kroger people need to learn something about courteous and friendly customer service.
If their shelves are bare it is because they were busy as hell and you got there too late. It id flu season for God's sake. What is wrong with you people. If you can do it better, get licensed and get to work.
The way a narcotic is filled is up to the feds. You have to wait til the 31st day to fill, because if you try to fill on the 30th day, you still have one day of medication. THAT is the law.
If you think it is stupid, call the feds and DEA and tell them. WE follow the law and NONE of us will risk prison for YOU.
Kroger's shelves in the pharmacy look bare. I will not go there anymore. I have a 30 day prescription of pain meds, and they would not fill it on the 30th day, said they didn't count the first day. Ha, stupid
The Kroger in my area in Cincinnati, Ohio (Mt. Washington) is the same way . I've been using this pharmacy for years. I have been on multiple prescriptions for a very long time, .. I recently lost my insurance, and it's became even harder to get the two most important prescriptions, the most important one I can't afford on a monthly basis, so the other I must get because it helps with my medical condition. Since I have lost my insurance, I have usually been able to get the one prescription two days early, now all of a sudden I can't. They are now saying it's on my prescription I can't get it two days early, mind you I lost my insurance in January this year, today is suppose to be the day I can get the cheaper one, and ofcourse they will not let me get it today!
wrongly accused
I urge all consumers to boycott kroger's. I was falsely accused of shoplifting there and was arrested. I went into a kroger store last week and was buying several bottles of wine for a party hosted by several members of my congregation - let me also say that I am an ordained minister. None of this meant anything to the kroger manager. Anyway, they had a...

The last four times we have been to the kroger pharmacy on scottsville road in bowling green, ky, we have had issues. Three times I was told I didn't have refills on my prescriptions, when in fact, I did. The last time they said I had no refills, they went so far without my consent to call my doctor for a refill. Today my credit card was charged $50.00 too much for a prescription. I called the pharmacy, the girl admitted it was a mistake, instructed me to come in and she'd refund the money... Instead of just crediting my credit card that was used to pay for the prescription. I contacted the store manager, and after some time he called me back and told me the pharmacy did not make a mistake and that they would refund the difference anyway but I still had to come back in! I am so angry that I could literally scream! It is the store's mistake, not mine. My allergies are so severe that I cannot go outside, my daughter, who picked up the prescription is at work right now. We spend a lot of money in that kroger, but know this, if my money is not credited back to my credit card, not one more cent will be gotten from us. We were loyal customers, regarless.. No more, not one more cent! I am extremely upset and I am going to complain on every social networking site from twitter to facebook about how poorly I have been treated. This it ridiculous and should be addressed immediately! The pharmacy in that store is in major need of some management!
racial discrimination
I was in Kroger on 2/29/2012 @ 9:11pm. My mom needed to go to the Money Shop to take care of money issues. We did a little shopping afterwards. While I was in the back where the fruits were I told my mom I had very bad chest pains. Mom insisted I get a motorized cart, so I agreed. I went to get the cart from in front of the store, I rode it in the store, and passed by who I believe to be a sheriff's deputy or police officer, he asked me "Hey, Do you have an injury?" I said "I don't have a serious injury my chest hurts and mom said I should get a riding cart, then he said "Good enough". I didn't really like when he asked me this because I was black. My mom and another black lady selling samples asked me, "Did he just say something to you?, I said "Yes, He asked if I had an injury". My mom and the lady didn't think it was right for him to ask me that." I was very upset, he didn't ask the other white kids if they had an injury he lets them slide, but me nooooo! It's not right and it is an outrage that we get treated the way we do, it's to the point where I take everything racist. If you go ask me ask everybody else also.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
"You have to be 16 generally to ride these carts or be with an adult. Children play around in these carts all the time. It has nothing to do with you being black."
Well I am not as young as many of you think. I was born with a defective heart and cannot be out of my home for a long time without resting. I was wondering why he asked me if I needed the cart and my mom said he was discriminating against me because I am a 11 year old black male. I did not mind at first that he asked me this, but when I found out from my mother that he only asked me because I am black became upset. The sample lady who is my mom's friend said it was because I am black as well and she claimed that that man is racist as well. Another worker who is also black said that he was doing her job and my mother told her she has no right to be black because this is clearly discrimination and racism. That other employee who sucked up to her coworker has no right to be called Black or African American. This was racism. I tell you. It was. How can they be racist against a 11 year old kid? Maybe he does ask the other white kids but they don't ride the motorized cart so I don't know. My mother told me that if I were white he would never have even asked. Even if I knocking the shelves down or accidentally running over peoples feet, if I were white they would naver have asked me if I needed the cart. They were racist. Please believe me.
You have to be 16 generally to ride these carts or be with an adult. Children play around in these carts all the time. It has nothing to do with you being black.
I don't understand how they could allow such terrible customer service
My husband bought me roses and a balloon at Kroger at 2150 Dixie Hwy on Valentines Day. The roses came with a coupon for a free dozen roses within some future dates. My husband gave the coupon to me, he works way to much to try to get there again, so I brought the coupon in to get the free roses. I had my Kroger card on my key chain, and sometimes I use my phone number to earn my points. So the cashier was starting to try my cards on my keys as this person claiming to be the assistant manager, Jackie was the only name I could get, yelling at me and the clerk that "you have to have the card with the exact matching card on coupon. She didn't even allow the clerk to check any other Kroger card that I had with me. I ask her about looking mine up with my phone number, she was so rude and would not listen to anything I said or ask. My husband was just at work, he could have verified his numbers, or anything.
My problem is that I spend so much money at Kroger I dont understand how they could allow such terrible customer service. She insulted me, really hurt my feelings, she acted like I did something wrong like I was trying to steal. I know how much money I spend there, untill recently I've owned four business in Kroger areas, I still have two shops. I was even planning to use the Marketplace to furnish the new house I just purchased. I ask for better treatment and an apology. I was given a coupon and all I did was try to cash it in!
The employees at kroger 688...788 west pike street Clarksburg wv 26301...being rude and threatened me while Im here servicing the store. Racial comments and call tje people on me. His name is Jerry. Aww sorry this hurt your feelings
store accident
I tripped and fell over the Express Sign at the Kroger in Bonaire, GA hurting my right knee. In fact, it swelled up like a grapefruit immediately and the assistant manager saw this. They had me write a statement and then told me the manager would contact me to file an incident report. The manager never contacted me. Instead, I receive a call "Unknown caller" and she said, "I know you're feeling really good today." I said, "Excuse me, who is this." She repeated again that I was feeling well and when I questioned again she said her name was (name redacted) and she was calling for Kroger insurance. I asked her what company and she wouldn't answer. I hung up. I then spoke to someone named (name redacted) and she explained they (Sedgwick LLC) represent Kroger and that "if" they found Kroger was at fault, they would only pay my out-of-pocket expenses. She repeated this several times so, as she told me, I would understand. I emailed Kroger and tried to speak with the store manager several times to no avail. I then get a call from (name redacted) and he left a message on my voice mail stating that they have reviewed my claim (no claim was ever made and I never had the opportunity to complete an incident report) and that my claim was denied. He said on my voice mail that the sign was over 3 feet tall, black on a white floor and I should have seen it. I called him back and left a message on his voice mail that the sign was in a bad place and the floor was dark brown concrete and that he should review the video and he would see. He then called me back and left me a voice mail (I have saved all the voice messages from him) and told me that he had watched the video and that I was wrong, the floor was definitely white and I should have seen the sign. He also said on my voice mail that no one had ever fallen in that store before me which I find hard to believe. The floor is brown so I know that he did not watch any video. He said again my claim was denied. I faxed a letter with all the information to the Kroger corporate offices and they will not respond to me and the manager still will not return my calls. Even when I call the 800 Kroger customer service number and tell my story, I cannot get any type of answer. I have notified the Insurance Commission for Kentucky (Sedgwick LLC), Ohio (Kroger corporate) and Georgia (where the store is) filing a complaint. How can a claim be denied when one was never filed? Why am I being treated like a criminal when I tripped an fell in their store? Today I went to the store and noticed that the sign is no longer there and neither are the barricades that direct you to the registers. Kroger is awful and after I hear from the Insurance Commissioner's Office I will then plan my next step.
Not looking for a settlement . . . . . it was an ACCIDENT. Just need an incident report for my health insurance to pay for the surgery. Also, for your information, it is illegal to post names/photos etc. on a public site without the other parties permission which is why the names were redacted. Study Law 101. Just didn't like being treated like a criminal over an accident and being told that people like me were the reason food prices are high. I'm sure none of you hateful posters have ever tripped and fallen before. I'm sure with your comments you would call an ambulance chaser if you stubbed your little toe.
Excuse me, maybe she needed an incident report so that her insurance would pay for the accident. Geez, you all are losers . . . . ACCIDENTS HAPPEN!
point taken but why hate blacks?
Why should Krogers pay for your carelessness and stupidity.
it was the express check-out... doesn't mean you have to run; you clutz... give it up - you've been busted for being dishonest.
Start paying better attention. Are you blind?
hello (name redacted);
as speaking for (name redacted) we find you are at fault
we have it all on video and it clearly shows that (name redacted) intentionally fell on the sign and then (name redacted) is trying to get some sort of settlement.
so in conclusion, (name redacted) will get nothing.
sincerely,
(name redacted)
I am very disappointed and upset, as I am afraid this was not a mistake
I Purchased The Velveeta Brand Cheese to make Rotel dip for the Super Bowl. I used the proper measurements, and noticed the dip was watery, with little cheese taste. I added a good bit more cheese. The dip was still thin and watery tasting with very little cheese flavor.
This was the regular Velveeta, and not the 2%.
I am very disappointed and upset, as I am afraid this was not a mistake. I hope I am wrong.
I used to get the little book in the mail, with coupon's, but for some reason, I no longer receive it. I do not have a printer or cell phone. How do I get the coupons book sent to me again?
so why are you upset with Kroger? They don't make the Velveeta.
Your complaint should be with Kraft Foods.
coupon policy
I was shopping at my local Kroger and I always look for discount buggies mainly because you never know what you may find. This evening I located a buggy filled with diet bars that my husband has been purchasing in the flavor that he liked. I purchased all that was in the buggy seeing that they had marked them down to 28 cents each and earlier that evening I had purchased some at the local Wal-Mart for 99cents each. I purchased around 50 of the bars. I had 6 printable coupons for $1.50 off of 3 singles or one multi box of this brand of diet bars. Keep in mind I purchased 50, not 18 which if I had only purchased 18 I would have understood that there would be a problem with trying to use the coupons but I bought 50. Well of course the cashier had to get a manager, of course he was a DICK, stated that he could only use 3 coupons, I asked why only 3 and he firmly stated to me that WELL WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIMIT...How nice was that! I looked at him and expressed how I understand that if I was trying to only purchase 18 bars that there may be a problem but I bought 50 of them and just assumed that there would not be a problem. He stated once again, I WILL ONLY TAKE 3. Well by this point, I was furious. I work hard for every penny I have and Kroger always treats me like a criminal everytime I try to use coupons there. They constantly harrass me over printed out coupons and always seem to state how they can not take them because their scanner will not automatically scan them, but I find that odd also because I can turn around and go to wal mart and they scan fine. ODD. Needless to say I was pissed that the manager was acting like that I ripped the coupons out of his hands and called him a coupon nazi and paid for my order and left. It is really starting to piss me off how they act like everyone trying to use coupons is a criminal of some sort. Im over it and trust me I will not shop at Kroger again.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I'm sick of coupon queens. Just saying. There's a reason why they limit, because of people like you!
Kroger does limit internet coupons to 3 total, not even 3 coupons of the same item, but 3 internet coupons for entire purchase . My store started this policy last Sept/ They will take unlimited newspaper coupons.
Let's do some math here.
.28 * 50 = 14
6 coupons worth 1.50 = 9
Total price for 50 bars would have been 5, which would have made your bars .10 a piece.
I would've saved the coupons for when I was at Wal-Mart paying more per bar if it was me. You was already getting close to 75% off of each bar. What more do you want? For them to practically give them to you? Obviously so...
just want to be heard
I was in the store the morning of Friday the 25th to pick up some medicine. The worker behind the counter was extremly rude to me, called me a liar and told me that I have not gotten my medicine from them.I was a regular Kroger shopper, I spend between 100 and 200 dollars a week in the store. My family and I get medicine from this pharmacy every month or at least we used to before this incident. It used to be that the customer was always right, but the twenty something year old girl waiting on me has never heard of such things. If she would have just closed her mouth and opened her ears and listened to me all of this could have been avoided, but she was to busy telling me how wrong I was.
I would like an appology.Thats it.I wsould like to hear her say "sir I appologize for not listening to you, I was misinformed.
wrong pricing
I purchased a 32 oz. Coffemate Pumpkin Spice Creamer in the dairy section because it was on sale for $2.99 a good deal. As i was walking to my car i was reading my receipt and realized it rang up as the full price of $3.61. So i went back in and went to the customer service desk. The manager on duty at 9:31 that day came to the desk and asked if he could help me. He had a price gun in his hand so i assume he was going around the store confirming items were ringing up correctly. I explained that i beleived the creamer rang up incorrectly so he asked me where I got it and i told him in the dairy section.
After a while he came back and told me that it was actually $3.61. I was surprised because i was so sure it was on sale. But i left it at that and went home. Well it kept bothering me that he said it was $3.61 because i used to work for Kroger and i know how to read a tag so I went back later on and low and behold, i was right it was on sale for $2.99.I wasn't going back in there to get something for free when i first disputed the price of the creamer. All i wanted was to be charged the correct price of $2.99 and given back the difference between the full price and the sale price. I did take my receipt back and got my money back but that is not the point to this.I am furious that he lied to me.He lied because he thought i was just a dumb consumer who would never know the difference.I will never trust another manager again that works for Kroger especially store #758.I will do my own price checks and take the whole tag to the customer service desk where i know i wont be lied to because the proof is in the tag.
Unions are here for a purpose: so that nobody (except the union lawyers) ever has to answer to anything. You worked there. You should know that.
Pumpkin Spice creamer? Blecch! Dont bother invitin me over for coffee. NO Thanks.
deli - customer made sandwiches
I always go to Kroger Deli at lunch time for a custom made sandwich. Today however a new person was there. She used meat that was not wrapped. There were few condiments like onions green pepper, etc. The pieces that were there were shriveled and from the day before.
I asked for some to be cut up fresh and she would not do it. I explained this to the manager. He offered a free lunch but I declined as that's not going to help.
She needs to be trained properly or fired if she has been there and knew better but was simply lazy. No apologies from her.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Actually I know this Jim person. This lady broke up with him because he is abusive and now because of that he harasses her at work and is trying to get her fired from her new job. tsk tsk.
As you stated. She was new. So either she was not trained properly or because she was still new, she needs time to get use to doing sandwiches. Some people, don't get the hang of things on day one. It takes time.
Also. if Kroger has an union or Georgia is a state that people can't be fired without reason. Not properly trained or lazy is not a reason for getting fired.
As The Fact Police asked. "Why would a free lunch not help?"
rude employee
Employee was rude insisting there was no sale sign where there was one when I was shopping just moments earlier. She insinuated I was lying! She should have researched and found the department employee took the sign down. Instead she accused me of a non-truth and I left my grocery's already rung up. I am done with this store! Just last week on devils night I finished shopping after dark and there were no lights in the parking lot. Employee told me lights were shut off for non payment.

True statement. That's a union store with the usual union costs to operate so electric bills can wait..and it has employees that are almost all rude surly dont want any customers pestering them and they sit around and bicker among themselves like children. Ronnie in frozen foods don't though. He's the only good employee they have. A very nice man. But those others...I'd fire 'em in a minute.
customer service
My 2 year old son had lost his balloon and started crying and screaming. I was trying to console him so I could finish my shopping trip (it's a 30 minute trip there 1 way for me), when an employee shopping off the clock, and in uniform but without name tag screamed at my son. She literally screamed over the loudness of his cries and said "YES WE KNOW YOU'RE HERE. WE CAN HEAR YOU, THE WHOLE STORE CAN HEAR YOU!" She was being mean, and had a scowl on her face, so there was no mistaking her intention with her comment.
This was so infuriating to me. I cannot believe any employee would have such an attitude toward a customer. I am shocked and appalled. A cashier at this same store threw my friends receipt in her face a few weeks ago before walking off. I don't understand this sudden change in customer service. It's almost as if employees have been instructed to be as mean as possible if they see a customer using coupons. I am so disgusted by this attitude change (and I am in no way an Extreme shopper!), that after 7 years of loyally shopping there, I will not go back again. I'm taking my business to Albertson's where they still remember customer service.
I agree with the posters above. I do not like crying children in stores, but that employee had no right to speak to you or your child like that. I empathise with the need to shop half an hour away from where you live. I live in a town which only has a General Store and it is about 40 kilometres or more to the nearest town (which still does not have a decent sized supermarket).
bad manager
I have lived in this area most of my life, this is our nehiborhood store, and the first place I ever worked... Through the years I have heard many complaints on this stores employees and services. This store is having a major remodel, a whole new store is being built with a fuel center. This means new managers are already in the old store getting ready for the big move at the end of the year. With new change comes adjustments, yes we all know. I have witnessed and heard from an employee of down right rudeness, mistreatment, and just no effort on a managers duty on manager: Rosevelt Williams. Just because you have more education and you think you are better exprienced does not give you the right to abuse your role, not listening to your employees, and not getting to know your employees, and wrong accusations.
