I was at Lowe's yesterday looking for a refrigerator. I was there for about an hour along with other customers. You had 2 employees working in that department and all they did was stand at the computer talking to each other. No one that was there got waited on. Why pay people to stand around if they are not going to help the customers. I left there and went to HomeDepot down the street.

We ordered this refrigerator when we built our house. We waited several months to get it. When it finally arrived it was damaged. We sent it back & waited weeks for another one. We have had the refrigerator for almost a year. We have had to have it repaired about 4 times. The ice maker stopped working & the food was freezing. After the third time here, they decided to order a new door. We waited about 4 weeks. When it arrived it was damaged!, so they put it on, hoping it would make ice, and he ordered another door. It did not make any ice. I am so disappointed. We purchased all Kitchen Aid appliances. I will never buy a Kitchen Aid product again. We spent probably $10, 000 with you. I will not recommend these products to anyone either! I am sure I am wasting my time to write this, it is ridiculous what we have had to do. When you buy something new, you EXPECT it to work. We might as well have a Used refrigerator. I had always thought that Kitchen Aid was a good product, but I was WRONG.
pellet grill
I purchased a pellet grill from Lowe's 19935 Katy freeway Houston Texas 77094 on 7/17/19. It was delivered 7/20/19 damaged. The delivery person had already noted it. I noted it on the receipt that I signed. Today 7/27/19 I went back to see what they were going to do to help me. I was told I either had to bring grill back or the damaged piece. I am nearly 73 and can't do things like that anymore. That is why I had it assembled and delivered. It seemed to me that their attitude was that I was just a bother and they really didn't care if I had a problem or not. I don't think my problem was handled very well at all.
window replacement
We have received the worst service imaginable from Lowe's. We needed some window replacements and went to a Lowe's store in Delavan WI in the spring of 2018. The "expert" came and measured the windows and placed the orders. The Pella windows arrived approximately 4-5 weeks later but were wrongly measured. The windows were reordered and after waiting approximately the same amount of time they arrived damaged. The windows were reordered for the third time and arrived damaged again. We were so desperate to get the windows replaced that we allowed Lowe's yet another chance. We waited for weeks and did not hear from Lowe's. It was finally September and we went to the Delavan store and stated we wanted a refund. Manager there said that the windows were in but I guess no one had bothered to call us. We were at the store over an hour while four people tried to figure out how to refund us. It was too late into the year at this point to replace the windows so we decided to wait until spring of 2019. This is where I began to blame us going to another Lowe's store. Because of the style of our windows Pella windows were the closest option to matching our remaining windows and Lowe's offered a reasonable price for the windows so we decided to go to another Lowe's location this time in Kenosha WI in the spring of 2019. We explained out previous experience with Lowe's and the sales person assured that their window expert was exceptional. He made an appointment on 03-01-2019 for the window expert to come to our house for measurements. He was a no show and we couldn't reach him on the phone or leave a voicemail for him since his mailbox was full. We contacted Lowe's and no one was able to reach him or know where he was. Finally the person on the phone said that he might have called in sick. We decide to give Lowe's a last chance and we go to a Lowe's in Machesney Park IL in March 2019. The installer came and measured the windows. The windows were delivered 05-19-2019. The installers arrived the next day and discovered that all 4 windows were damaged and they were only able to replace a door. The windows were reordered again and we were assured that extra care would be taken in handling the windows. We received a call sometime in June that the windows were in but the installation crew wasn't able to install the windows until the 25-26 July 2019. On 07-24-2019 we received a call from a delivery driver around 6 pm stating that they couldn't find our house and their gps keep circling them around and they still had three deliveries to make so he told me to call Lowe's and tell them I wanted to change the delivery (like it was my choice). The installer called us few hours later and stated that the crew would arrive next morning 07-25-2019 around 8am. That morning we got another call from the installer stating that half of the crew was on it's way with a lift but the other half had to find out where the windows were. The windows finally arrived shortly before 11am. The head installed knocked on our door shortly after that, took us into our garage and showed us yet some damaged windows. Now only one window was undamaged and three were damaged. This was the last straw for us. We had been waiting for over a year for Lowe's to install some windows. The inconvenience this has caused us in insurmountable. We got no answer from a person named Cassandra McDonald who was supposed to be Lowe's installation member. No response to a phone call, a voicemail or an email. Not only has this causes us to waste enormous amount of time our house has suffered some damage due to not being able replace a leaky window.
This is a cultural problem with Lowe's. All three stores failed to serve us. No one cared. The CEO should be appalled by what we went through and there should be a thorough investigation to Lowe's practices. Please don't use Lowe's for any of your home improvements.
lawn mower
I got a lawnmower in April and didn't use it until June. Needless to after putting the right gas and oil that came with it the 2nd time I used it, the engine blew. I took it back to Lowe's and at the so called customer service desk who was rude said it would be 3 weeks. Frustrated with time frame bc she said repair goes on vacation often I was ok. A month goes by and now they don't know when it would be fixed due to one part is on back order. When asked if I could get a loaner so I don't get evicted from my home a blunt NO. I called corporate office to get assistance I was told 24 hours at the longest a manager would call me. Never happened. So now it's another 2 weeks I called corporate back to find out why the manager didn't call me. The girl on the the phone put me on hold 15 minutes never checked back with me but when she did told me oh the part is on back order. Well duh I knew that I wanted to know about management calling me back. After many calls with no assistance I'm so done with Lowe's. They treat people like crap! Their management is worse never again.

Under no circumstances should anyone acquire "install-able" windows, doors, etc. from Lowes. This is doubly true if you are expecting Lowes "pros" to handle the installation job for you. We ordered a new kitchen countertop at Lowes about two months ago. About a month after we purchased the new countertop, the person measuring the space came out and said that in addition to removing the existing countertop and sink, we needed to add a support "wall" next to the dishwasher and adjust one cabinet 1/4 inch to make it level prior to installation. We did all that and about two weeks later the installers arrived. They said they couldn't install the new countertop and sink until additional backwall support and sink support were added. Fortunately, I had materials on hand to do those while the installers waited. The countertop was installed; however, there was an unattractive, very visible seam in the middle of the sink area, and the sink was so low that a total reworking of the drain had to be done. Furthermore, the threads for the waterlines for the new faucet were not exposed enough to allow a tight connection to the waterlines. Lowes contacted me to ask about the project a couple days after the installation, and I shared details and photos, but there was no offer to remedy the situation. Anyway, we were just very disappointed and would not recommend Lowes to anyone for this particular service.

my electrician opened my celing fan box and showed it to me wires already had been cut unit previously installed some place else and then reboxed hardware missing. This is happening all to often. The killer was calling lowes in Salem NH and spending 30 min on phone being told there is no manager on they are on vacation, let me find you someone. after 30 min of being transfered and speaking to 4 different people who offered nothing but hold on and let me see if I can find you someone. To start off on 5/22/19 I was set for someone to come out and measure my floors for carpet and vinyl floors, the following week after measurements I went to the Lowe's in Winterville to pay except they lost the measurements. They set up another appointment on 6/11/19 to take the measurements again. I call the Lowe's store twice, once on 6/14/19 and I didn't get a call back. I call again on 6/15/19 they haven't figure anything out yet. Don promised me a discount for messing up my timeframe of flooring. On 6/23/19 I went to the Lowe's store to do the paperwork and pay, Tyler prepared the paperwork but it took management nearly 40 minutes to come to the flooring department. After Tyler prepared the paperwork, I went to the register with the paperwork he prepared in my hand to pay. Again I waited an hour and a half for management only to have written 3 checks, 1 they used and the others they didn't use. I then used my bank card because they thought it was fraudulent it declined. I had 3 sets of blinds in my basket that I had to leave and only part of a payment of $1009 on the flooring. I was fiercely upset because I was in your store from 6:30 pm to after closing 8:35 pm. With nothing solved . I'm so tired of them screwing things up. All management their have failed what is so simple to Krystal, Robin . upper management, which was Smith who wasn't there at that time. I need answers in this matter.
store pick-up
Piscataway Lowe's and customercare@lowes.com have the lowest level of service or care for the consumer. Stay away! I made an on-line purchase for store pick-up. I only do this because I don't want to do the self-checkout that these big box stores are forcing us into. By purchasing on-line for in-store pick-up, someone has to be employed to receive the order. Someone has to pick the order. Someone has to ring up the order and take the payment.
Everything was in stock and the order should have been ready in a matter of hours. Instead, I received an email stating that my order was finally ready for pick up 5 days later! I went to the store to get my order and was told "Sorry, it isn't ready - we will have someone go and pick it now". After waiting for a few minutes, I was called back to the desk and was told to go out in the parking lot to get a cart and bring it back in so they could go and pick my order off the shelf and bring it up. REALLY? They screw up the order. They email me to come to the store. They want me to go get a cart? I told them to go screw and went to the local Ace Hardware and got the job done. A human being assisted me with my order and rang me up when I was ready to go.
I emailed customercare@lowes.com and told them up front "do not send me a "Sorry" email. What do you think I got? Sorry, we will use this as a learning experience to help other customers avoid what happened to you. BITE ME LOWE'S!
I am also offended by the lack of cashiers. Self checkout is great for those who might be in a hurry or don't care about people being replaced by technology. I on the other hand prefer to see people earn a living so that they can make a support or supplement their family income. I don't know about you, but I don't work for Lowe's. They don't give me a paycheck to check myself out. They don't give me a discount to pad their Corporate pockets with the profits saved by having you do their work for free. Wake up people!
Shop local. Shop where there is care and customer service. DON'T SHOP LOWE'S!
bathroom project products
On May 8, 2018 I had a sales presentation done by store employee Kelsey McTarnaghan which costed me $75.00 She showed what type of tub was available, and vanity. The presentation also included an estimate of what it would cost to have the tub and vanity installed which she and the person who would perform the work come to my house visited my residence in the bathroom.
She contacted me 2 to 3 weeks later to meet with her giving me a detailed sheet of the itemized cost of the parts and labor which was something I was not able to afford
On April 21, 2019 I purchased the parts and have it delivered to my home in which I was going to have my own contractor to do the install.
After coming to do the work, removing the old tub that was there and installed the new one it was discover that the tub sent would not work because the sales person Kelsey McTarraghan gave the wrong part number, the tub was facing the opposite direction from where the drain pipes would be. Also the 3 Piece Bath Accessory Kit tub and Savor Bath Door were delivered with missing parts.
A lot of time and money was lost due to this error, it will take another 2 to 3 weeks to have the correct tub delivered and instead. I have provided the sheet that was given to me by the sales person which shows the incorrect part number.
I spoke to both store managers Jessica M and Andy W and got no response. I am including copies of the transaction documents which includes a parts deal pricing of each of the items that were purchased.
I like to know what can be done. I look forward to hearing from you otherwise I would pursue other options such as legal counsel or Consumer protection assistance.

My name and Celia Alcantara on the 10th of this week I bought a washer machine from the Lowes store in Fernandina, and next day two employees came to deliver the machine to my house and caused serious damages to my house. I sent emails with photos to manager Daniel Foster, I went to Lowes to talk to this manager but this guy was at lunch time, I talked to another employee and nobody from this company call me!
I am completely disappointed and waiting answers and repairs of damages in my house.
lowe's service/protection plans
I purchased a compact refrigerator on 6/10/17. Also purchased a Replacement Plan. The product had a one year manufacturer warranty. The replacement plan clearly states that it starts after the manufacturer warranty ends. Therefore the product should have been covered to 6/10/19. I called on 6/9/19 and am being told my replacement plan expired the same day as the manufacturer warranty, 6/10/18. How is that possible since it clearly states that the replacement plan starts after the manufacturer warranty ends? When talking with any of the people either at service center or Lowe's customer care it does not sound like they even understand how their own plans work. I was told sorry but unfortunately there is nothing we can do. I will never purchase another protection plan through Lowe's and I will make it clear to others that they are a complete rip off!
extended warranty/troy bilt pressure washer
I bought thetroy bilt 2800 psi gas pw machine 6/21/15. I even bought an extended warranty for 3 years. The machine worked once as we tried it on a couple things. We decided to wait until the fall to use it for the project we bought it for. When we turned it on it didn't work. No water suctioning. We stored it according to all instructions in between the first and attempted second use. I tried to take it back and I was told lowes couldn't take it back because they don't handle repairs. Just give me another possibly if i'd have to pay another warranty fee. I called loews and troy bilt, I was referred to a service provider who would charge me $90 to [censored] the issue and decide if they would cover it, but it was up to troy bilt or lowes. At that point I had read this was happening to everyone. I asked about repair from troy built and they said it would cost me money to get it assessed and that it was most likely storage without even looking at it.
I've emailed their website form with no reply.
I have a receipt, the machine, and the coverage plan for lowes. I want my money back.
I know there is a class action suit being started, i'd like my money back now however.
washer and dryer
I ordered a washer and dryer online 6/1/2019. I received an email confirmation that said my order was being processed. Two days later, I received a phone call from John, Mt. Holly store, stating, he does not have the items in his store will have by Thursday 6/6/19, and will deliver by Friday 6/7.
When I didn't get my delivery on Friday, I called the store. After several attempts to speak to someone in appliance regarding my order, I found out the washer and Dryer were never scheduled for delivery. I should have gotten a call or email letting me know the circumstances. I received that one call from John. NO follow up after that.
On Saturday I went to the Sicklerville store near me for help. That person had the same problem I did getting assistance from the Mt. Holly store.
He looked in the computer and saw the items were in the store, but when Cindy from Mt.Holly checked the items were not in the store. She promised to keep checking and get back to me.
I did not have confidence that she would follow through so, I decided to go to THE HOME DEPOT STORE. While parking my car in the Home Depot parking lot Cindy calls. She can't find the items. And suggests I shop at Home Depot.
I found what I wanted at the home Depot store with superior customer service.
I cancelled my online order with Lowe's.

lowe's delivery & service promises unfulfilled; do not recommend
I thought we'd try doing business with Lowe's in buying a new washing machine after a couple issues we had with Sears on other appliance purchases. After speaking with a "customer care" person on the phone, I was promised delivery on the following Friday when we knew someone would be home to take delivery and install. Based on that, I ordered the washer. Then they sent an email changing the date to a date no one would be home. I called back and they changed the date again (more promises they didn't keep) to a Sunday when someone would be home. Since the purchase date, Lowe's has changed the delivery date again - now FOUR TIMES. Instead of delivery within 3-7 days, it will have been 16 DAYS since the purchase - provided we don't cancel the order, which we may yet do based on the store manager's call back today who's fulfilling the order. Doesn't inspire any confidence. I recommend avoiding doing any major appliance / delivery business with these people. The company's financial performance has suffered recently so who knows how long they will be around.

Statesville Lowes hired Hefner Construction to install my roof on Saturday May 25th 2019. The company sent 2 guys out to do a 5 or 6 person job. The sit manager never showed up. It took from Saturday May 25th until May 30th to get the job complete. It was calling for storms Saturday night. So think God it didn't rain. Lowes didn't even try to compensate us even though we will cancel our credit cards and take our business elsewhere. So today I cancel the cards.
