On August 23, 2019 I was on the schedule from 6:00 pm- 11:00 pm at Ross store Pinecrest 2173 and Lillian is the supervisor (Mod) and every time she is (Mod) she is lazy she never wanna give me my breaks she ignores me every time I ask for my breaks and get mad at me because I ask for my brake she get attitudes and beat me to the store manager and try to get me in trouble saying I give her attitudes in all I be asking for is my break that she don't be wanna give me and it's against the law to refuse any associates of there breaks so today she refuse me of my 30 min lunch break she even got mad at me and told me instead of clocking out at 11pm to clock out at 10:30pm all because she didn't want me to take my lunch break and this is not the first time it happened to me alot if times another time she refuse me of my brake and I let her know that I really had to use the bathroom badly she argued with me about my break again and I'm telling her im bout to really urinate on myself I literally had to run to the bathroom trying to make it and ended up urinating on myself my panties was a lil wet in the middle..it's really not fair and this what she does every time it's always a problem when u ask for a brake people call the Ross store to speak to the (Mod) Every time she never wanna get the phone when associates ask for help in the front she don't respond to a while later.. she act lazy I just don't feel it's right that I have to get in trouble in be threatened to be fired just cuz I'm not getting my rightfully breaks like nothing happens to her she just acts like she don't care and it's not right my job be on the line cuz of her and all I be wanting is my breaks and I get in trouble they don't wanna hear nothing and make it seem like I'm the problem when I'm a good worker it's against the law to refuse me of my breaks I work hard for!It's Just Not Right!

Was there today, and observed this for the first time in my 7 decades of shopping: there were 3 cashiers when I got in a long line. One decided to reshop or put items back on shelves ignoring the line, and the other two actually decided to simply walk away and take a break in the back! The other customers and I were in disbelief. About 8 of us realized we simply weren't getting checked out today, so we all had to just put our baskets down or abandon our carts and leave. Ross, get your act together. Maybe treat your employees better so they won't feel they have to resort to this? Or hire better?

You are destined to succeed if you are white in this company. Minorities and older employees are marginalized. People who fell in the latter category have been targeted unfairly and harassed regularly. Prejudice trickles from the top. Ross punishes those whose business made them rich in the first place-minorities and the poor. Rampant bullying. Sad

I went in to Roos in Lufkin Tx today 8/6/19. A worker by the name of Tiffany Caucasian lady. Gave poor customer service in what I fill was a races manner. The customers, she checked out before me. Where Caucasian, she went above and behind to give the best customer service. When I came up to the register it was total opposite of what she had just given. She also tossed my change at me. Very rude I will never shop there again and I will recommended anyone I know for the sane.

At the time of checkout, I realized that i did not have enough cash on me so I told the cashier that I wanted to spilt the charges! I wanted to do 300 on one card, 100 on another cc And balance on cash! Well cashier did not do that, instead she charged one card and balance on cash! I was suppose to transfer to a different Ross Store which is located in bossier city. On July 8 i was to be on the bossier schedule. Due to the manager Gary at Shreveport i was not on the schedule for a whole week. I called both stores everyday and they kept telling me how it had to get approve. I called Gary the store manager at Shreveport and he told me it went through. This was July the 14. When i called the bossier store they said i wasnt approved yet. Now here it is another week and still nothing. I wont b receiving a paycheck because they either dont know what they are doing are they dont care. I just hit my 5 year mark at Ross. Its not fair to me that they are dragging their feet when im always on time, never miss a day, and even go beyond my job. So how can we fix this problem because i have bills and now i wont be receiving a check for these two weeks. Chris at THF blvd is just HORRIBLE. Such a poor customer service that I cannot even imagine it. She should be thrown out of the store right away. I just asked her to match a price for one of the bag but she was extremely rude and refused right away. Ross should really need to focus on providing training to their employees regarding customer service and should hire better people. Very disappointed ☹️

On 7/12/2019 a friend and I went shopping at Ross. Upon returning home, I noticed a bag of items missing. I called the store and spoke with someone who introduced herself as Veronica. She asked what register I was on. I told her I wasn't sure, but I gave her the time I was there and told her it was the only register opened then. She checked and couldn't find the bag. I told her we carried the bags out but didn't take the cart out of the store. We left it at its proper place in the store. Perhaps it was there. She said all of their carts were stocked so one of the employees would have returned the bag had they seen it. This confused me, because I was the one that stocked my cart. Not an employee so it could have still been there. I hung up after telling her I would double check my car. I knew my friend didn't have it because she only bought 1 item. After another hour, with no luck finding my merchandise, I called the store and spoke to veronica again. She claimed no one returned it and it still hadn't been found. I felt like she was trying to dismiss me so I asked, shouldn't you take my name and number in case it shows up. I heard her sigh and her next words were, what is it? I asked if she ever planned to call me back if my bag showed up because I only felt placated? She said, she'd call. Gave her my info and informed her that this wasn't the Las conversation I'd be having with Ross regarding this situation. she was inexplicably rude, she didn't give a crap about my missing $40 of merchandise and I doubt she'd call, even if my bag was placed right in her hand. Thanks, Ross, for your mighty fine customer service! [Extreme sarcasm in case it was unclear]
