Shopee Philippines Return/Refund process
Hi. We hope that the company would notice our message. As a seller of Shopee platform, I would like to raise my concern about the new return/refund process of the platform.
This is for the reason that the company does not give equal processes with regard to buyer and seller. When buyers request for refund, without any evaluation, refund can be given automatically. As with us sellers, we need to undergo evaluation first and require a lot of supporting documents to have compensation, leaving us with nothing but to follow the policy, even if these may cause burden to us as refund is a serious matter not only on the buyer's side but on the seller's side as well, it would be unfair for us to just give the refund right away without providing justification.
Another concern is about the flaws of items, in as much as we want to ensure the quality of the items we sell, item flaws cannot be prevented, as sometimes this is due to the packing or delivery of items. With these, we would greatly appreciate if there is a counter offer button, in which sellers can give discount to the item with flaws. If the buyer does not agree with this, let the buyer return the item to the seller. This is to provide justification and not just gave the item for free to the buyers.
We hope you give due process of screening and evaluating for approval for both parties, buyer and seller..

Desired outcome: We hope that there’s a counter offer button for seller to offer discount for items that is damaged and return the item mandatorily if buyer refuse it. Not like current process considering item is given for free when buyer filed for refund

Suspended account
On August 5, 2021 I received a notification that my Shopee account is banned due to some violations that I am not aware of. I tried contacting the shopee customer service and its been 2 months already, I still haven't received any clear response and I have money left on my account. I just want to get my money back. I trusted shopee too much. Their customer service sucks! Now, I want my money back, I want refund and I need a clear explanation why they suspended my account.

My account was permanently suspended without prior notice nor chance for appeal. I have contacted shopee customer service since Saturday, 02 October 2021. As per their email, I have violated policies re: abuse of digital vouchers. In my defense, as responded to their email, vouchers on my account were available for me to use. If ever there was a bug in the shopee system, that has allowed me to use duplicates of any voucher, how was it my fault? I am a buyer, a Platinum member, with an account for almost 3 years. As far as I know, I have a clean record ever since. It was unfair for the system to permanently suspend my account - with shopee pay balance, accumulated coins and vouchers; my only personal registered mobile number; and my email. And the only option was for me to withdraw my money, coins & vouchers wasted, only for me to re-create an account. Which is unaceptable, because the team assigned only gives me vague/general reasons of my said violation, in which, I am still awaiting proof.
This is to file a complaint with the technical team responding to my emails signed as : Richard, Vanz, Lei and Tina. This is also to raise said complaint to HR.
I have already demanded to have them call me and speak with the person in charge to discuss my case. Still waiting for their call 4 days later.
I have already appealed, for them to fix this so that I can continue to use my account with accumulated coins and reputation as a Platinum member. Permanently suspending my account with no substantial reasons, evidence is utterly unacceptable.

Mishandling of item
I'm a seller in Shopee and it is very disappointing that Shopee Express courier mis handled my item. My customer ordered the item and I've been following them up regarding the parcel. They picked up the item but they didn't deliver it to my customer and they automatically cancelled the order on my end and my customers end. I never experienced any inconvenience like this with other couriers, it's my first time to encounter Shopee Express courier and I can't believe they provide a [censored]ty service. I highly value my customers and I can't believe that because of their poor service, my customer is upset in ordering again. Is there anyone who experienced the same? Is Shopee Express courier really like that? I really feel bad for the customers and especially us - sellers who are blamed because of somebody else's fault.

I have SpayLater with 10, 000 pesos credit limit. I used it and try my best to maintain good credit record until I got hospitalized and missed my due date. But although I missed my due date m, I cleared all of my balance before they freeze my SpayLater account and I even paid in ADVANCE. But they adjusted my credit limit to 0. Yes, ZERO. When I sent an enquiry about this then ask for them if I can avail again the benefits of SpayLater, they replied to me that they need a screenshots of my Shopee account and SpayLater account so that they can forward my concern to the specialized department. I sent my screenshot right away but I didn't receive any reply not until after 3 days. After 3 days of waiting, they told me that they are ALREADY RESOLVED my support request. I didn't receive any reply from them even any explanation or such and my SpayLater credit limit is still 0. How come they told me that they already addressed my concern? Not to mention I am a platinum member of shopee. I've been loyal to shopee for so long but they return my loyalty with POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'm so disappointed.

Payment Options - OTP Code Issue
For security purposes, OTP is being used for transactions that won't be on cash-basis. e.g. Spaylater, Credit/Debit Cards, etc.
For about a month now of going back and forth to Shopee, there isn't a clear resolution for their Smart users' customers on how they can complete payments with the ongoing issue of not receiving the OTP code. One of their agents suggested that I temporarily change my number to a different number which I did and it turned out when I tried reverting it to my original number - the issue still persists so as workaround, I tried changing the number again to a Dito network number however Shopee limited me in doing so; so I chatted their Live Agent and was given a form where I have to input my Shopee details and also my government ID including a Selfie with the ID. (Imagine the trouble of doing this from a customer perspective wherein you're using their platform due to accessibility and turned out to be a NOT SO hassle-free system, what's worst? - Now I have to wait for a Shopee agent to give me a call confirming I am changing my phone number WHICH they suggested so I can continue to use payment methods that requires OTP. Please look into this critical customer service handling, if they do not value customers much - as it's been a month that this is ongoing, it would be sad to leave Shopee as a customer who's been loyal to them in terms of my purchases and repayments. Fix the OTP Issue for Smart network users. Provide a solution where customers can change their mobile number or revert by answering security questions or enough with submitting the IDs. They shouldn't expect their customers being available to have their phone handy on business hours ( as we also have work to deal with which sometimes wouldn't allow us to use our phones)
Desired outcome: Fix OTP Issue, do not make it hard for customers to follow your suggested workaround just to complete payments pr continue using Shopee.

2. On 16.9.2021, I have received Shopee's email saying that based on your record, I have requested a refund on 13-09-2021. The refund has been completed on the 16-09-2021.
3. However, until today, 27.9.2021, the amount in my mobile phone still show RM9.33 and did not reflect your refund for the amount of RM179.18 on 11-09-2021 at 08:02. As you said in the email to wait for 24 hours which obviously is more than 24 hours already.
4. I have tried to reply to your email twice on 19.9.2021 and also 22.9.2021 through your email address: [protected]@shopee.com, however, was informed that the said email address had permanent fatal errors and was unable to reply to you.

Shopee agents playing around me for handling return refund request.
Purchased a refrigerator from shopee mall, I encountered the product mulfunction defect and raised return and refund request, after goods returned to seller(shopee arranged pick up transporter), but the refund not in place, this case already involves 26 days since August 31until now.
Everytime wrote email/call services center, get back the reply that need 3/5/7days for investigation/escalation/refund, after the 3/5/7 over still no action, Still get back the same answer from different agents saying that need 3/5/7 days for further process, none of them can help me to resolve the problem.

I just what to complain about how the delivery here in Cebu City Philippines is taking too long to deliver the order. In order to expedite your order you must give tips to the person who will deliver your item. I have neighbor who worked before in shopee delivery hub, she said' they will just pick the item first whom they get a tip before. Hope you will investigate more of this case.
