Lack of dvd options at 104 street and Jasper Ave. Edmonton Alberta.
This location is constantly lacking very little variety in Dvd's compared to the Whyte Ave branch, I think all shoppers drug Marts should be equally equipped to serve the public. I've been trying to purchase DVDs from this location but they never have any current releases.
This type of poor service could be a reason business is not booming,
I think it would be wise of management to view this request as important. I mean I try to buy at least a couple of DVDs at least once a week.
Thanks for your time.
Desired outcome: Fair product supply regardless of location.
Abuse inside shoppers drug mart
I have been a customer at this branch of Shoppers Drug Mart (at Sherbourne and Howard) since they opened. I gave them five star reviews, especially for their excellent pharmacists. But today, I am scared to enter there, even to get my flu shot. Their cashiers are well aware, some even mentioned to me, that unruly customers and shoplifters appeared in...

I had a photo taken for a passport for me to be done. The photo that I purchased at shoppers drug Mart was rejected by the passport office. The reason for the rejection of my passport was that the picture provided by me from Shoppers was poorly done. Was told that my eyes are dark black unable to see what colour and my forehead is shiny reflecting light.
Desired outcome: Refund

I scheduled an appointment last week for today at 1 PM only for my confirmation to be for 10:30 AM which then I switched around my entire work schedule to make it to the appointment only to arrive 45 minutes early for the pharmacist to tell me that the appointment that I had scheduled had not been fulfilled correctly and that they had only seen one out of...

Nov 12 4:00-4:30pm My daughter just came inside of one of your store but the scanner went off when she entered, then security went to her and she checked inside her bag and she found a tester perfume from clear-view with the sticker sensor still on it, and the security guard took it and asked her where she got it with a loud voice and she was frightened...

On Nov 3rd my spouse had an appointment for a booster vaccine at the Shoppers Drug mart at Sandalwood parkway and Chinguacousy Rd in Brampton. I noticed that the pharmacist did several patients' procedure without changing her gloves. When it was my wife's turn, I requested a change of gloves and this made her very defensive. I was told that she did not need to change the glove as she was using it for her protection. I asked "what about the patient's protection?, as you can can cause a cross infection" At this time the senior pharmacist rebuked me, told me that she did not need to change her glove and that if I was not happy to go somewhere else. I told her that was not appropriate and she hastily brought the procedure binder and kind of shoved it into my face, demanding that I read it to see where it states that she should wear a clean glove for each patient. I found this attitude to be so profound as I,a medical worker deems this disrespectful, no care for the public and unwarranted. I feel that this Drug Mart store should be be investigated, as at the same time another customer was angrily requesting her $500 be put back on her card, which was somehow wrongly taken out. As a concerned citizen about infection, I look forward to this matter be looked into as soon as possible and action be taken, either proper training be given or that pharmacist be excluded from administering medication to the public.
Desired outcome: Disciplinary action to both pharmacists, and either proper in service training with respect to cross infection and glove wearing.
Pharmacy department.
The service levels at Shoppers drug mart pharmacies are totally unacceptable. First of all, you can never get to them over the phone. Its take hours and the calls constantly drop. SEcond the amount of time they take to fill your prescriptions is ridiculous.
Even for prescriptions which just require some tablets to be poured in a bottle and a label attached takes 40+ mins. Dont understand why? Can anyone explain why you have such poor service standards. Are your employees not paid well which is why they dont care?
Rude employees
Shoppers drug mart loxated in Erin mills mall Mississauga please keep a check on your employees and teaxh them some manners. I visited the location on Sat, 28-oct-2022 between 3 to 5 p.m twice . There were 2 female employees at front one in hijab and other with curly hair (don't know names ) the girl without hijab was so rude and mean for no reason. Seems like she was having a bad day but please don't take that out on costumers especially when they are trying to be nice. She took also took someone's passport photo mentioning so it helps to identify and teach her some workplace ethics.
Desired outcome: Tech tour employees how to talk with costumers.
Service
Almost every time I wish to refill my prescription over the phone , it takes hours, today for example, I was booted to hold for 22 mins, then hung up on 7 times for a total including 7 times put on hold for 35 minutes and still I am unable to submit my prescription,,, I can't walk , so therefore I depend on the phone in and delivery service, this is a terrible experience for me, I'm so disappointed with this store, please help!

This day at 2 am morning ( 26 Oct, 2022) I visited shopper at 2501 Third Line, Building B
Oakville, Ontario L6M 5A9.
I took my son after midnight to shopper because he had a painful throat and redness eyes just To get any medicine that relieves his pain until he sees the family doctor. The lady who was working during this period did not help us at all, not even moving a finger from her seat far from us.
She said we have no medicine, so I told her about the medicine that is sold on the shelves, but she replied in the negative. So I went looking for myself, if the shelves are full of medicine. I went back to her and asked her why she denied the existence of the drug, she answered indifferently that it can be used.
You treated us with superiority, indifference, and without humanity
204 first ave. St. Thomas, ontario
Covid 19 shots.
Went to the Talbot St. location and received my first dose of Pfizer 3 weeks ago and was scheduled to receive the second shot the 19th of this month. When arriving at the Talbot St. location I was told they only had other types of Covid 19 shots but no Pfizer so I told them I would go to a location that had the Pfizer. When arriving at the second Shoppers located at (204 First Av.) they advised me that they had two different kinds of Covid Pfizer vaccines and asked me witch one I wanted. I asked witch one I should take and they said the new one would be fine and scheduled me to come back in at 1 pm. I arrive at 1 pm and the pharmacist that scheduled me says they can't administer me the shot and acted very rude and disrespectful about it. I asked "why? " and the east Indian pharmacist said that the new one was not the write one and he could no longer administer me the correct one because I was upset. I really think before you let people work these positions that they know what there talking about when it comes to the public. This Pharmacist was disrespectful and very unprofessional about administering my shot and had a fellow Indian co-worker standing with him that seemed to think it was funny I was being mislead. The good news is, after going to a 3rd location (107 Edward St) I received my second Pfizer dose on site with no problems. It seems to me that 204 Edward St. Shoppers Drug Mart has some unprofessional pharmacists working there. I am a healthy white male age 47 and never have to take med's for anything, when I do something like protect myself and others bye taking a vaccine that's recommended bye my government I expect not to be treated and spoken to like a child from the incompetent pharmacist you have working at 204 Edward St. Get these people educated before you allow them to deal with the public, this whole deal cost me a day at work with all the misinformation.
Desired outcome: I would like the Pharmacist working yesterday morning and early afternoon spoken to about this and to be held accountable for his misleading information and disrespectful attitude.
No - name bacon
I am complaining about the Bridgeport and Weber shoppers drug mart store.
They 99% of the time don’t have the sale items of no - bacon I have gone there so many time, I talk to the manager he told me they haven’t been sending the bacon or if they do they only send a few, this is not acceptable when other stores receive them, very frustrated customer
Desired outcome: To see the store Carrie the sale items that they advertise
Pharmacy
After 35 mins on the phone trying to determine why the script I ordered 4 days ago wasn’t ready, someone finally answered just to tell me that the sensors I use to test my blood sugar are unavailable and back ordered? How does a pharmacy do this? How do they not inform me after 4 days? I’m an insulin dependent diabetic on 2 types of insulin! How do I check my blood sugars? This pharmacy is the WORST run, WORST business I’ve EVER seen! Stay far away from the store in Lindsay Ontario!
Photo
Last month (September 13 between 2:00-3:00pm) I went to Shoppers to get my photo to finish applying for my passport. It was taking longer than expected to receive my passport so it was transferred to Hamilton to have it done next week. The reason is I have a job for 6 months and need a passport to travel next week. The other day I got a call from Service Canada saying that my picture had black eyes and a shiny forehead. So I went back to Shoppers in Simcoe (Thursday October 13 between 2:00-3:00pm) to get another picture from the same store I received the first picture. When I put in my complaint with the workers they called me a lier & made fun of my bald head. Realizing that they are not willing to look at the photo & needing a new photo today in order to get my passport done in time to travel. I paid for another photo to be done at this Shoppers store and thought I will deal with this later without the workers here that are not willing to help me out. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Robert
Desired outcome: Looking for a refund for the passport photo that was rejected by Service Canada.
Advertised seniors' bonus card not delivered
13-Oct-2022 I went into SDM after seeing a poster in the window advertising Seniors' Day Discount + $10 bonus card. I received the discount but when I asked for the bonus card the cashier was mystified and called for help. When 2 more store employees came, I pointed to the poster in the window & was then told it was out of date. I pointed out that the store is legally obligated to provide what is advertised. They said they couldn't, but when I persisted they eventually said if I came in tomorrow & lost the "attitude" they might honor it. This is really not acceptable behaviour. I get that they couldn't produce a card if it wasn't in the app, but they were both unapologetic and aggressively rude, though claiming I was being rude by insisting on my legal right. Somehow it was my fault that they had failed to remove an outdated advertisement. The older gent at the cash was polite, but the younger woman & man were not. Store is Princess St at Division, Kingston ON.
Desired outcome: apology + bonus card
Information privacy
Have you noticed that Shoppers Drugmart is collecting data they do not need to use? Have you noticed their breach of your personal security by demanding you tell them your birthday to looking up your pharmacy information instead of using your health card number or phone number? In front of strangers at the pharmacy counter, they reveal your birth date information, your names, and confirm other details with no sense of your privacy or security. When you complain, the only thing they can offer is that it is the foolish policy and methods for searching. That is the way their systems work they say. Shoppers Drugmart are likely in breach of the of Canadian privacy laws.
In this day and age, they must only collect and stored information they need to have, with a legitimate purpose. For example, they do not need the date of birth to identify you. The point of sale and customer system is abusing the information of its customer base and that needs to stop. They are putting their customers at risk. ID theft is a serious issue, and they are foolishly ignoring it. With the hacking by bad actors, if Shoppers Drugmart is breached, how much of the customer's identity profile is revealed? Is it enough to get a bank account compromised or a credit acquired and abused? I have no confidence in their approach or need for their methods, and I am a professional in information systems and security.
I have raised this issue more than a dozen times at their counters. It is likely that customers have been compromised. Now it is time to start the formal complaints process. The demand is to have their systems fixed and their databases purged of unneeded and danger information on their client base.
Desired outcome: Shoppers Drugmart policies and point of sales systems need to be changed. The demand is to have their systems fixed and their databases purged of unneeded and danger information on their client base.
Refunding $12.11 & the 41,000 points exchanged to purchase this refunded item
Case Number: [protected] (ref:_00D41Mmpa._5003fNE4Gf:ref) Dear Manager, I received an email on Aug. 16,22 from Dieufaite informing me that a refund of $12.11 and also 41,000 points exchanged to purchase this refunded item will be refunded within 7-10 days. I have sent several emails requesting an update. As of Oct 2,22 I have still not been refunded as promised. I have sent several emails requesting an update. No-one has replied! I just want my money back as promised. I have spent hundreds of dollars at Shoppers Beauty Boutique in-store and on-line. Please investigate why I still have NOT received my refund as promised. Thank you. Sincerely, Loye Hebert
Desired outcome: I just want my money back.
Cosmetics associate beyond ignorant.
So, I went into my local shopper's drug mart store, and since I live in a small town (Port Colborne, Ontario) it is the only spot I can buy any makeup. I went in today (September 29th, 2:30 pm) and the cosmetics manager came over to me, while he was in the middle of helping an older couple with something. He rudely interrupted while in the middle of attempting to help them, Came over to me and since i was maybe 5 feet away looking at the "essence" makeup, he came over to me and asked me said " what are you doing here" and I looked at him and said "ive been coming in here for years, do we have a problem?" and he then said "well, yes you were violent with one of our workers and you have been given a lifetime ban from this property" and I was completely thrown off because although he'd been very rude and judge mental with me before this incident (I would just like to add that even though he is a male with long blonde hair that has lip injections and wears full face makeup, it wasn't until today that I myself passed judgement on to him) So, along with the fact I needed some new makeup, I could now see the other couple were looking at me in disgust. So, obviously being completely humiliated I attempted to save myself in the best way I thought possible, and I replied, "well, if I was violent with one of your workers, wouldn't the police been called and charges been laid"? and all he could say in response to that was, "Yeah, I don't have time to talk about this at the moment, but I'm still going to have to ask you to leave the store" and I agreed to leave because I could see that the older couple was now shaking their heads, which could have easily been at the fact someone was getting thrown out, I was just hoping when they heard my last comment about the police especially with his pathetic response they were able to see his threats are completely because of some dislike he has against me. So, as he was walking me out i asked to leave my phone number so i could then be called back by a manager or just someone of more importance, he wrote my name down. Barley spelt it so it could have been understood, so i politely corrected him and he said "I don't care" so were walking through the store and the exit is where all the other employees at that time probably were because as we got closer to the front of the store I think he realized how his complete and utter ignorance for me, a paying customer might have gotten him into trouble so he then told me he is going to take me ouit the front door, and despite the fact that i insisted we go through the front he wouldn't allow it. Well, I would just like him to know, I know that I will not get a call back from any manager or anyone that works at the store. It's possible if someone does call me it's someone he's asked to pose as a worker just to keep his butt out of the shooting line if you know what i mean. I am not going to give up. I want him to know this, I will use every resource I've got, go to every complaint website possible, call, email, fax anyone who I think might be able to help or whom ever can just bring some light to this situation. I will be getting my mother in line with me as well which is going to be what he should actually be worrying about. I know he thinks I'm just some transient who has no one (of any importance) who cares about me or is willing to help me, and that is exactly where he is oh so sadly mistaken. I cannot wait especially since her long-time boyfriend is a "big wig" corporate lawyer working out of Toronto. So, that helps! :)
Desired outcome: I would most definitely like an apology, not just the words "sorry"
