Hello. On 10 August the Takealot delivery driver damaged the gate and gate motor of Park Avenue Security Complex, 965 Kudud Street. EC security was contacted and a report was filed.

Delivery in Polokwane, Limpopo
I am experiencing too many frustrations regarding the delivery of my parcels. I am residing in Polokwane, Limpopo.
It is now the third time in a row that my parcel was sent back to the warehouse due to the driver being "unable to deliver the parcel". I am a teacher and can not answer my phone when I'm in class.
After the first delivery resulted in such a frustration, I requested during the next purchase that the parcel must be delivered after 4pm. The delivery came and the same thing happened: " unable to deliver the parcel". The driver was screaming at me over the phone that it is my fault because I did not answer my phone and that I can not expect him to deliver my parcel after hours because he only does delivery until 4pm, not after 4pm.
I eventually met him at a shopping center and received my parcel. But, I did not appreciate his disrespectful attitude when I met him halfway to receive my parcel.
My latest purchase I rescheduled the delivery for a day when my domestic worker will be at my home to receive the parcel.
The driver phoned me during class time at 11:00. I couldn't answer and I received a notice at 12:00 that they were " unable to deliver the parcel".
I am once again utterly frustrated. Online purchases are supposed to be easy and convenient. It has caused me more trouble and headaches lately. And the bad attitude I am getting from the Polokwane branch is not appropriated. I am frustrated because the sms's specify that delivery will be before 5pm, and not "before 4pm".
Please advise on how we can resolve this ongoing problem.

On the 20/07/2021 I requested a refund as the system caused an issue making me pay twice.

I ordered a Yi Nightscape Dash Cam worth R939 from them on the 19'th of July and they then cancelled the order saying they cannot get the product anymore. I paid for the product with Mobicred and I am currently paying monthly installments on this, I logged requests with Takealot for a refund but they are not responding to my ticket Ref #[protected].

I had accidentally returned two items instead of one, I called the delivery line and I was told the item would be returned to me but even now I haven't received any feedback of when would the item be delivered. The dirty liquid is coming out the ventilation openings drips on the carpet leaving a huge mess.
It also leaves a streaky window and not, as expected, an evenly cleaned surface.

Service of the delivery driver
I am a customer for over a year. I am very disappointed with the service received by the driver today. Poor communication and attitude received was appaulling. The driver phoned me while I was at work. I told him my husband is at home, if no one comes out after I phoned my husband to please it with my neighbour. He cut the call with no response. When I got my neighbour said he told the driver to leave the delivery, he'll sign for it & will give it to me as he's done many times before. The driver did not reply him & just drove off. This is not professional.

The argument is I never received 6 pieces therefore the return some one is not reading the complaints, this had been going on for a while please keep the money and remove all my information from Takealot I had supported Takealot for Years now and this is the first time that I received info to excuse bad service delivery or their suppliers mistake, I am disappointed in your response but accept there are people working for Takealot who had limited education and finesse to address a problem.
