Good day.
I order a vacuum on the 3rd of July and it was supposed to be here on the 16th July and now they keep on moving the date how long must i waiting till i will get my vacuum?
And if i ask why they keep on saying they are waiting for more items from the suppliers.

I'm complaining about a bad service I received
That man Oyama lied to me today saying I can't receive my parcel because they recieved the communication that no shipment is allowed to Soweto due to looting that's happening around the area. He literally said there is nothing he can do to assist me any further claiming he doesn't have the authority to get my parcel to be delivered to me. I then asked to talk to someone senior to him and he just said there's nothing different they will tell me different to what he was saying. I had to hold for almost an hour waiting to speak to the team leader. I then spoke to Sindy who said my parcel is on its way I must wait for it which was completely different to what Oyama said. I then told Sindy the reason I'm calling is that the center is not operational., the driver might return back with my parcel so I need the driver's phone number to liase with him. He said he will forward my numbers to the driver to contact me when they are in the center. Guess what nobody called me but now I received the message that the recipient was not available to collect. This happened after I explained to Sindy that I need my parcel because they are currently rebuilding my kitchen and I need it for tomorrow. Now I'm stuck. I'm very upset with the service I received from Oyama who blatantly lied to me and Sindy who didn't keep to his word that I will be called when the driver arrives. I waited and waited nothing.

Faulty item returned under warranty
I logged a faulty item, MRRN-q5bk7-kgj9, on the 3rd June 2021. It was received by the warehouse on the 7th June. Suddenly on the 9th June there were accessories missing? On the 11th June the "return was declined"? and on the 12th June it was "concluded".
I am not a "learnered person", but this is blatant theft by Take-a-lot.

On Cloudrock womans waterproof hiking boots
I bought the shoes in June. It arrived with a broken shoelace hook. I logged a return BUT said I wont give it to a courier before Takealot can confirm they will be able to refund me or supply a new pair of shoes. I did NOT want a credit. They did not get back to me so I kept the shoes and wrote numerous emails to ask them to get back to me. Finally I locked another return for the shoes to see if I can get someone to answer me this time around. They said I MUST send the shoes to the warehouse and once it is cleared they will refund me. NOW the people from Takealot sent me an email stating they cannot refund me since the time since buying them and them receiving it is too long and falls outside the allocated time!bit it is their fault!
I have proof and took photos that the shoes arrive with a defect. They costed R4000 and I had to save a long time for them. I do not even have a fixed income! I have been phoning the courier comoany who picked up my package to return to Takealot today, since they are the only people willing to speak to me and emailing today again to Takealot themselves to try and at least get an answer WHEN and HOW they will at least return the faulty shoes to me. NO ONE ANSWERS. So they now sit with my R4000 AS WELL AS my Shoes! Please help

I need to know when you are replacing my tv because there is stock at sell-SA and it is not my problem that the price is different from the purchase price I had paid all I want is the tv that I paid for on the 18th of June 2021 and was told I would receive delivery on t ye 2nd of July 2021. When exactly did takealot become aware that it had been lost in transit because upon my first enquiry I was told it had been damaged? Which is it exactly? Please note that this has nothing to do with me as a customer, I don't see how this should be my problem. I don't care how you acquire the tv, all I know is I need my tv delivered as soon as possible. I paid for the item which was being advertised by takealot and never received it. Takealot needs to purchase it from the 3rd party and claim the difference of the price from the people responsible for the damage or loss. Why should I be prejudiced for someone else's fault? I won't be looking out for any specials as you are suggesting because I did that and found the item I was looking for, so please honour the sale agreement we entered into on the 18th of June 2021.
This has been the most exhausting and costly exercise I had to do with takealot. I still don't understand why is it my problem that Our agreement has not been honoured. I know there is an insurance in place which covers such incidents but what I don't understand is why am I being prejudiced about this whole ordeal. Where is the fault on my part?

Mikrotik router cAP return issues
I bought MikroTik cAP ac Dual Band AC PoE Ceiling Mount AP | RbcAPGi-5acD2nD from Takealot and was unable to setup the device. I the logged a request to exchange or get a refund for this item and have taken the device to Rivonia branch. The return was cancelled and concluded without any details. I then went to Rivonia branch and was told it was cancelled by mistake they will get it sorted. I then called their customer care and they apologised and logged a new incident for this return.
On the 29th of June again they cancelled my exchange request and the unit is no where to be found.
May I please get assistance to get my refund. I cannot lose both ways.

Today, 29 June 2021, I added 2 bottles of Oxyburst to my cart, as well as a dummy clip, and it stated that the delivery would be this Friday, 2 July 2021. I proceeded with the payment because this Oxyburst bottles is for an emergency, so I paid the order.
After the payment was done, the delivery date changed to 12 July 2021... And I can not wait that long.
I want to cancel my order and want my money immediately refunded, so that I can support another Business who can have the order ready and delivered by Friday.

I have ordered a Medalist Aerobic Step on the 14 June 2021. I ordered the Medalist light blue and grey step, but once I have recieved my package the box that the step came in was damage, it was open and I did not receive the step I ordered. I am disappointed in the step, I was really looking forward in getting my aerobic step.

The promise was that the mess up that Takealot created would be resolved as soon as I have returned the incorrect order sent by Takealot...
Sadly, what I was told on the phone and what happened was actually 2 different stories...
Many phone calls, various emails and every time a different consultant...
Giving me the credit on my account did not resolve your failure to deliver a service...
Now I'll have to order again for R450 to ensure that I do not pay for delivery... Yet by no mistake of mine, my order was messed up by Takealot to start with...
Where is the customer service?
Please can this complaint be escalated to the Director of Takealot and something more likely called customer care be applied by the company.

Desired outcome: Vitamins (pack of 3) originally ordered be sent to me at the same price and at the cost of takealot as it was their mistake. I was originally told to return the one bottle incorrectly sent and they will then send me the pack of 3.
Refund not provided and updates not consistent
I ordered an Iphone which is expensive on Takealot then in my delivery box I find a clock. This is unacceptable and is obvious that my phone was stolen at the warehouse and replaced with a clock!
I logged a return and the driver picked it up on 21 Monday in which I got an sms that the product will be at the warehouse in 2-3 days.
I have not received any further update but when I call customer care they say that the warehouse got the clock but then on the Facebook message they said it is still on its way to the warehouse. the story is not consistent and something fishy is going on. In addition, the agents in the customer care says that they will get back to me and they never do.
This has just been causing me anxiety as R11 000 is alot and Takealot is trying to scam me.

Wrong Product on 2 occasions
I purchased pods from Takealot. Upon delivery I noticed they were not the ones I ordered as per the display picture on the website. I then returned these asking them to then credit my account so that I could purchase again. I ordered another pair of pods, thinking surely they can't get it wrong a second time...this time was worse than the first time! The item they delivered looked nothing like the picture. They looked like hearing aids and they just decided to deliver blue (when I asked for white). It was like ordering a sports car and I got a bakkie instead. I have asked to speak to a Manager or for somebody to send me a Manager's email address...still nothing. Then I got told they refunded me on the 18th June...we are now the 23rd June and still no money. I have written so many emails highlighting my dissatisfaction with their so called "Customer Service". I just get an acknowledgement email apologizing for the inconvenience. Absolutely disgraceful!

Previously when you took over from Kalahari i lost 21 books. That could not be recovered. I still did not have the finances yet to recover all the books i lost there. Now again i must just loose the 10 i already have on my profile.

A replacement that never arrived

I purchased at smart watch and received it. It was faulty and didn't work. I took it to a drop off & pick up point in paarl on the 3rd June 2020 to send it back to takealot. The gentleman at the Paarl pick up and drop off processed the return and asked if I would like a replacement or Refund. I chose a replacement to be delivered back to that drop off pick up point in Paarl. I immediately received a text with the following reference: #MRRN-VM847-KZZM for takealot order #[protected]. I have since heard nothing!
I have been trying to get through to the takelot help numbers [protected] for 2 weeks! No one has picked up even after trying option 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the automated message. Please can someone give me a response on where my replacement is.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the service I have received from Takealot.com. I purchased a mobile device online (Order ID [protected]/ Invoice ID [protected]) and received it. All was well until the phone stopped working, I then logged a query on the 31st of May 2021. The phone was collected on 2 June 2021 at 13:42. On the Jun 4, 2021, 16:16 GMT+2, I was advised by Sabelo Mathebula that "Please note that we have rejected your return request due to the following reason/s: Item tested working fine" and 9 images of the device were attached to email. I specifically stated what was wrong with the device and if enough attention was paid, Sabelo or the technicians would have noticed on the screen that there is a sign where the mobile network icon is situated. I have just received the phone back even after speaking to Nic Klaaste (takealot.com) at Jun 7, 2021, 19:55 GMT+2 advising that "Good Day, Please take any sim card and insert it into the device and advise if it works, also see if you pick up any signal on the Wi-Fi, I specifically explained that device does not recognize the sim card in the phone neither does it recognize the mobile network which makes it impossible to make phone calls, I have tried many different sim cards with 2 devices and that particular cell phone won't work", He later replied advising that "Hi Sizo, Thank you for writing. Your advisement is escalated to the returns team. An update shall follow at the soonest they advise.
