Tim's reward issue and payment issue
I have been a loyal customer since I was 15 years old, my first job was working at Tim Horton's in Burlington. Just saying... There is not a day that passes by hat I do not drive to a Tim Horton's either in Harriston or Palmerston to get my daily fix.
I have two concerns/questions: why is it that that when we use our reward points, we do not qualify for roll ups? If you think back a few years ago, you could still use your rewards card and were handed a roll up the rim cup. So we have to disable the reward app until the roll up event is over...BUT you may lose your points anyway since they expire after 12 months...I like collecting my points and I like using them when I feel like using them. I don't know why you cannot keep this simple and get rid of the technology and make it fun again.
Secondly, since the app update for roll up, my default is always set to pay from my Tim's Card and rewards in one sweep, however, since the update, payment has been coming directly out of my Visa account. I tried correcting this. Tim's employees suggested I contact Tim's main branch. This is why I writing to you
Desired outcome: Fix the app, the layout is not readable, words overlap, confusing appearance. The app is not user friendly, it is crowded and I cannot scroll down far enough to hit the 'done' button after getting a roll up. [protected] Lenora Belle
Fraud job offer and scam money
Timhortons restaurant in Canada with partner consultancy sunbright vision consultancy in India for recruitment worker ask me 300000 rs for signing job offer and workpermit fee for Canada work permit and after taking money they doesn't provide anything neither to get back refund my money nearly4000cad phone number and all details with job offer is given on attachment
Desired outcome: 4000cad
Lack of privacy options on the app
The app does not allow control over information privacy. There are no privacy control settings. It simply provides a number. When the number is called, an automated message directs you to a web-page that does not allow controls or edits to your profile privacy settings either.
The app collects your data, shares your data, and does not allow you to pick and choose which data to share. There are no viable ways to edit or control your data
Desired outcome: Want easy settings enabling customers to choose their edit and remove privacy settings
Roll up the rim, and app issues
Since Tim Hortons revamped their app, which is nice, it's been such a pain. It can take up to 3 mins to order a coffee for mobile pick-up. The lagging is painful. Reached out to them a couple weeks ago and they said, it was me and then fessed up, with giving 20 points for troubles. What a joke, as I buy approx $20 in coffee a day.
Now, Roll Up The Rim.
I have won 2 coffees since it started. I have rolled approximately 40 times and keep saying " not your lucky cup, sorry". Last year i won fair bit of coffee's and the skullcandy rip off. Over the years I have only won coffee's and nothong big. I am a huge spender and moreso with Roll Up The Rim. I should buy stocks instead. I don't believe their is prizes such a 10k or vehicles and based on the years and $1000's in buying.
If anyone else has had issues, reach out, their maybe a valid issue ( [protected]@outlook.com )
Desired outcome: However they want to respond
Tim Horton’s App and Roll up the rim
The app was malfunctioning the morning that the contest started. We should have had a total of four roll ups with the purchase of four teas. Two on my app and two on my husbands app. The cashier said to let them know through the app and the rolls would be put on. Three days later and two messages later, they said that it must have been my phone not working. It was not nit was everyone in line that morning. We were told it was the app and there was nothing they could do. Very disappointed in the customer service from Tim Hortons’s customer service. Not the the persons serving us. She was great.
Desired outcome: Wanted my roll ups put on my app. It is a contest and they should provide the entries when a person is following the proper procedures for the entries.
service
there is one lady that works at the timhortons at the university of Toronto Scarborough campus. she never focuses on the customer. and she is always messing up orders, refuses to give the proper change, given the wrong item, she is always forgetting to make my drink and then begins to serve another Customer. its okay to do this once or twice, but this is every time customers are being served. my receipt number is [protected], order number 173, order ID is [protected]
Desired outcome: I would like her to change locations from there because I'm a regular customer that always buys from there or some sort of compensation (i.e. discount for my drinks or a gift card)
RRRoll up the rim contest
I am writing to complain about this contest. I personally have a smart phone but I still am not sure how this contest works. However, the reason for sending this complaint is because there are many many people who do not have a smart phone or they do not know how to use it for this contest. My boyfriend buys coffee there at least twice a day and has no idea how to do this and he doesnt want to know beause he only uses his phone for calls basically and he runs a business. Is there any other way to win prizes ? If not may I suggest you return to the old way for winning prizes. I know of several people who would agree with me. It is just plain not fair ! Thank You.
Desired outcome: change the way to win prizes.
Liquor at Tim Horton
There are 4 older men at Tim Horton on Bloor street and Tomken Mississauga
Ontario. These men are putting liquor into their coffee and the other day almost started a fight between them. There are lots of kids at lunch hours from Bloor collegiate high school and this is unacceptable at Tim Horton.
There should be no liquor allowed into Tim Horton Restaurants.
Please take appropriate action.
Desired outcome: Speak to the staffOr place sign no liquor allowed inside.
No steeped tea and rude staff
I usually go to Tim’s for the stepped tea. Last two days was told they do not any have at all. I asked this morning if there an issue because there was no stepped tea again. Woman told oh there was, but are busy training so they are not making any. How does that happen? In the meantime I told her I would wait for a stepped tea. Then was told to move my car into the next parking lot, which normally I wouldn’t mind, but the lot was full. Then I was asked to drive around the block, like seriously? Then the manger proceeded to verbally assault me, and yelling to her coworkers, I could hear it through the drive through window. I have never encountered such poor customer service. I will never go back there. Horrible way to run a business.
Desired outcome: Free stepped tea vouchers. Talk to the manger.
Management
I have witnessed verbal and mental abuse from your supervisors and managers to their subordinates. I have now watched for the third time, a supervisor berate her employee to tears. This is absolutely disgusting behaviour, I maybe go to tim hortons once a month, the fact that every single time I go, your managers are treating their colleagues like absolute trash, what an embarrassment. They should all be fired before you end up at the human rights commission!
Desired outcome: I demand that these monsters apologize to their colleagues, and be put through training programs like anger management, and productive conflict resolution.
The cleanliness of this Tim’s
I like going there but there garbage bins seem to be overflowing all the time. This Tims is located close to a high school so they get a lot of traffic. I was there around 11:45 am and once the kids left the garbages were overflowing. Then there was at least 15 mins before any customers came in so they should be out there emptying them right away plus wiping all the tables after the rush. It seems every time I come even at 2 pm it’s the same. The cashier just stood there for at least 10 mins doing nothing. Retired citizen. Sorry
Desired outcome: They need someone to empty continuously as the bins are small and someone just to wipe tables. I had to wipe my own table and pick up garbage on the floor before I sat down. Need more employees.

Potato and bacon soup in a can bought from a No Frills store
On feb 11, 2023 I entered a No Frills store to pick a few items before heading home after work. I opened the can of potato and bacon soup and heated it on the stove. I served myself one bowl from the pot, finished that then poured the rest of the soup into my bowl. When I got down to the last bit in my bowl I brought the bowl to my lips and drank the last of the soup only to have something heavy fall to the back of my throat. I gagged on it and spit it back into my bowl. I saw that it was round and metal. It was a washer. I have the can still with the washer as well as the receiipt and I would like some answers please. I could have choked on this washer and since I live alone this was very scary.
Please have someone contact me back asap.

rewards program
I used to get 10 points for every coffee and redeem it at 70 points for a free coffee. ( 1 free after every 7)
Now as of Feb 21st 2023 I get 24 points on an extra large coffee and need 400 points now and have to buy 16 coffees. ( 1 free after every 16)
So the rewards program now sucks and it takes twice as much money to get the reward I used to get after 7 coffee's, its now 16 coffees.
So they have now convinced me to go to MacDonald's now as they have a great program, and their coffee is good too. I liked Tim's, and buy everyday, but now they have taken away 1/2 of our rewards now and also increased the price of coffee a few months ago.
I wish they had told us they were changing the program and I would have redeemed my rewards before they changed it.
-Vey sad customer
Desired outcome: change rewards back so its worth going to Tim Hortons
My job
I was working for Tim Hortons and I was doing a very good job at what I was doing on Tuesday Feb 21 they let me go for no reason at alI know that I was taking people shift and they were even adding shift on my days off. Also they have changed management in the store 4677 and the new manager and assistant manger didn’t like me at all I want to fight this
Desired outcome: I want my job back but at a different location
Refuse to give me the food which I have already paid for it, just because they didn't find the order number
I have been a Tim Horton royal customer for many years. Today, I used the mobile order through the Tim Horton Apps to redeem my points (Feb 20, 2023 @4:05pm). And I got the confirmation order pick up number and also the receipt below. When I got there to get my food, the staff told me they didnt get the order yet. (It was 4:12pm), I asked her to double check again and she was very unpatient and kept saying "there is no oder". I showed to her my order number and pick up adress through my adress. She just totally ignored me and turned around. I asked her "what should I do? I just go home without food?, It was not my fault and you supposed to give me the food which I have already paid for it!". She just stared at me and she acted like she had no feelings for the other people. She just let me go home without anything. Her attitude made me very uncomfortable. I am also very disappointed with the Tim horton management team, how did they train the customer servants who have unprofessional behavior to serve the people. Please see the attachment vedio and
I would like you as "TIM HORTON TEAM"can give an importance to this case. Thank you very much. I am appreciated for your time and I am looking forward to your reply. Thank you.

I grew up in Gananoque on Tim's and putine. So, I was very happy to find a Tim's when I moved to Urbana, Ohio. That didn't last long. I have been to the store three times and have NEVER been able to get what I wanted. I visited in the morning. I visited in the afternoon. But, every time they said they didn't have any muffins. What's up with that? I went...

Just wondering why one large coffee cost $2.17 in Canada but when you buy 2 large coffee it costs $4.68? When you do the math on this, this does not add up... So basically what you are telling customers is to buy one coffee at a time to hold up the line? is that good business? In all honesty, from now on I will just purchase one coffee at a time because I refuse to pay higher taxes or whatever the cause is for this increase... You can rest assure I will be letting other customers know this...
Desired outcome: For the prices to be as they should be and no gouging
Vanderhoof store.
I have concerns about how management is treating a person with Disabilities. He was told don't use your disability as a excuse. The owners have expectations that are beyond his capabilities.(He has limitations)
Also 1 person to off load the truck twice a week. Owners and management do not assist with anything to help the workers (they used too).
Angela left because she was expected to do the truck by herself.
Morgen left because their disrespect.
I left because of the disrespect to their employees.

Desired outcome: I want the owners and manager spoken too. I left because of their disrespect to employees.
