service
Hello the Surrey 72nd 122 street Tim Hortons in British Columbia has poor service especially at 615am. A cashier didnt arrive to the cash register and there was a long line and we had to request one. The employees are very rude someone needs to coach. A & W next has an amazing service I'm sure Tim Hortons can do better. The store is very dirty.

service and fall accident
I was at your hurontArio and bovaird location in Brampton Ontario, and fell inside your location due to wet floors. I only came inside due your drive through debit/credit was out of service. But your inside machines were working. I ask if tap could be used at another cash to process the order and drive through said no. But the manager inside said yes it could of been done after my fall.

sandwich
Tim Horton's has always been one of my favourite places, but my last experience at Toronto's Pearson International Airport has left me with a rather bitter taste. Before my long flight to Europe on May 5th, I wanted a quick meal, so after clearing security, I went to the Tim Horton's for a coffee and sandwich.
I ordered a dark roast black coffee and a turkey sandwich, paid for my order, and was surprised to be told by the lady at the cash register that I should pick my sandwich from the fridge... I asked if I can get a freshly-made sandwich like I always do at Tim Horton's, but I was told that this is the way this Tim Horton’s operates – pre-made sandwiches only. I asked if it would be possible to get my sandwich toasted, but the reply was that the sandwiches can only be microwaved...
Disappointed, I took my order and found a seat. I opened my sandwich and took a bite... the sandwich was soggy, the lettuce was wilted, and it did not at all taste like a Tim Horton's sandwich. I started examining the packaging and realized that I was sold this sandwich 2 minutes before its expiry time, and by the time I started eating it, the sandwich was considered to be expired.
I took my receipt and expired sandwich back to Tim Horton’s for a refund. To my surprise, the clerk offered to make me a fresh sandwich on the spot… so it is possible to make a fresh sandwich at this coffee shop... At this point, however, I had completely lost my appetite, so I just asked for a refund.
To return my expired sandwich and get a refund, a Manager had to be called, and it took her at least 20 minutes to figure out how to give a refund.
Whatever happened to Tim Horton’s "always fresh" slogan? It most certainly does not apply to the Pearson Airport Tim Horton's!
I bet that during this time more people at that location had been sold soggy, expired sandwiches. I hope no one got diarrhea and was forced to deal with it on a long flight to wherever they were going.
This was truly a terrible experience, and definitely not up to Tim Horton's high standards.
rude manager
pickup 2 doz donuts and muffins paid with purchase order and asked cashier for a receipt she wasn't sure so went and asked manager he came out he was cranky and spoke to me in a condescending manner. He scared the cashier with his aggressive demeaned poor child. I left I wasn't about to lower my standard. he was rude. So what do I do buy my meeting food somewhere else.
stealing gift card balance
The people who work at Tim Hortons stole money off of our gift card. Today (Wednesday, May 24th, 2017) my mom and I went to Tim Hortons to order something to eat. When we placed our orders, my mom proceeded to pay with a gift card. It was a new $50 gift card and we had already used it 4 times to buy steak and cheese paninis. This time, we bought the exact same thing as before. $3.59 was on it earlier when we went in to buy the food. When my mom swiped by gift card to pay for our food, the cashier said that there was no more money left on it. We talked forever and the cashier said that there was nothing they could do about it. Someone has had this exact same thing happen to them before too. We would not recommend getting the gift cards there. Is there any way this could be solved?
service and food options
To whom it may concern,
Today is May 24, 2017 and this complaint is regarding today at approximately 1255pm.
There is a Tim Hortons located at 4151 4 Ave S, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4B5 to which myself and many of my co workers go to as its close by and its a healthier option than others around. Whenever I go, regardless of the time it seems like they are always out of something, specifically regarding their soup. Tim Hortons offer a wide variety of soups such as bacon potato, cream of broccoli, chicken noodle soup, vegetable harvest, wild turkey rice, chili etc. Today out of all those options I have listed off, they ONLY had chili, harvest vegetable and 1 other one which I don't recall ( I believe it was mushroom?). Both my friend and I wanted the chicken noodle soup, this was only 1pm in the afternoon, lunch time and they only have 3 options available? Let me also mention, my friend and I placed 2 different orders, 2 different bills and paying separately, they decided to cram a turkey BLT sandwich, a chili and a vegetable harvest soup, with 3 spoons(not sure why I needed 3) and 1 knife with a few napkins in 1 small bag. The bag was ripped and so we had to sit there and check out order to ensure it was correct as its usually not, asked for another bag and had to re-arrange everything ourselves. Thus in turn created a longer wait for the people waiting behind us.
Tim Hortons has to be the worst fast food place there is, they rarely get your order right, they usually forget the base in the iced coffees, they jam pack everything into one bag even if people have 2 different orders and paying separately. I am not sure why it is so difficult to ensure you have all the items stated on the board. Several times ive placed an order for something, they tell me the total and then when I get to the window let me know no they no longer have that. You can go to Macdonalds, Wendys, Burger King etc and they rarely if ever let you know they no longer have that burger or its not ready.
I would like a gift card for the numerous amount of times I have received an iced coffee made incorrectly(no base), no spoon in the bag to eat the soup, a messy packed bag with the soup leaking, poorly made sandwiches and last but not least for the number of times they never have anything available to order as its not ready.
oatmeal
I come to the Tim Hortons on 4066 Lakeshore Rd, Hamburg, NY 14075 often to get oatmeal. It used to be made correctly. Lately it is way too thick to the point where I cannot eat it. I have called the store and returned the oatmeal and told the manager. But it is consistently too thick for me to eat. I have thrown away several oatmeal in the past 2 weeks and lost about $10 as well as remained hungry through my workday. I will no longer be going to Tim Hortons for my morning breakfast as this has been an ongoing problem.
Thank you for your time,
Rick Roehm
customer treatment and employee training
The Tim Hortons located at Canada's wonderland in the kids zone is staffed with rude lazy and untrained employees I waited in line for 30 minutes to find out they were out of coffee their expresso machine was out of order all they had available was stale Tim bits and bottled water the cashier was very rude to me by saying just deal with it well here I am dealing with it I have several pictures of the mess that location was in well if you have no products to sell why is the staff chit-chating and not cleaning upthey obviously have not completed their food safety course and if they have it needs to be revoked I personally buy over $200 a week from your various locations and I will completely quit going to Tim Hortons in the future if this matter is not promptly and throughly resolved
smoking by doors.
Why is it you ket people smoke in front of your doors or just beside. I shouldnt have to hold my breath anytime i want to enter your coffee shops.
Also you are not bike friendly. No place to lock up ypur bike.
People on bikes shop local, but rarely fo you see any at Tim Hortons.
You do however always find people smoking by your entrances.
Tim Hortons is Not very health conscious at all .
One more thing your new dark roast is not very good.
Anyways all this spells losing me as a customer.
Keep up the bad work 😬
iced latte
I went drive thru and order my ice latte with extra milk and surgery and half exprosso shot and stepp tea. I repeated my order like three times. When I got to the window, they gave me hot latte. Then, I told them I want iced LATTE with extra super and milk and half exprosso shot. They changed it and gave me. I left from there when I drink it they did not put extra surger and milk and half exprosso And the steep tea was cold. I came back to Tim Hortons in front. I thought I will talk to manager and she will change it. I didn't even drink it. The manager was do rude. She did not even listen me what I'm saying. When I told her I order this... She said we don't make order like that. I can't putt half exprosso shot in your iced LATTE. When I told her other Tim Hortons they always make what I want. I always buy my drink from them. She was so loud that everyome was watching at Me and her. She should have sense how to talk with customers.
Then she told me they might have old machine. I gave them my drink and walked away from them. That was first time I went that Tim Hortons and I will not go there again. That lady should not be the manager. She said know how to talk to customers.
That is located at 32780 South Fraser way at Abbotsford Bc.
customer service
I had extremely poor customer service at Tim Horton's this morning at 11:30 am who is a male employee. I have been going to Starbucks and Tim Horton's for over the last 20 years as a retired police officer and the customer service is much worst and worst because I am a visible minority. Every time I go to fast food restaurants by myself as a visible minority, I am subjected to overt, systemic and institutional racism across Canada. If people do not like working with the general public then they should be fired or unemployed especially when it comes to dealing with visible minority. The private sector and government is doing an extremely terrible job in customer service with visible minorities. I would like a public inquiry and financial compensation
in dealing with customer service right across the board. I want justice.
I received extremely poor customer service from Tim Horton's this morning at 11:30 am, I am a visible minority at this male employee does not like visible minorities and he should be fired unemployed because he served me a cold cup of coffee. I have been not going to Tim Horton's as much anymore because I am a visible minority and bad customer service. If people do not like dealing in customer service in the coffee shop especially with visible minorities then they should not be working there. I want a public inquiry and financial compensation for the private sector and government doing an extremely poor job dealing with the general public especially visible minorities who are subjected to overt, systemic and institutional racism. I want justice served as soon as possible.
Windsor watched Detroit right across the river sink to the lowest hole of any city in the Western Hemisphere. It "just happened to happen" during Coleman Young's mayoral stint, and the whites got literally chased out of the city with forced bussing, confined to the city (no cross-district). After that - well you know the rest of the story. Ferguson on steroids. I can't say I blame Windsor if they're a little edgy.
overt, systemic and institutional racism, racial profiling, has a do not care attitude because I am a black man. I have had this problem my whole life with government, police and national security agencies, media, mental health, private sector
and Canadians. As a police officer former I was told by Windsor Police that they do not like visible minorities, we do not want them in our town or on the force. I want justice, I want a public inquiry and financial compensation. I am not going to Tim Horton's as much anymore because the white employees do not like to serve me because I am a black man especially the female employees. I think that they need to be structural changes in staff, customer service, senior management, district management, and CEO.
Visible minority? Specify. Cleft palate?
coffee
I have been a customer for over 4 years with the same order of coffee and never had to walk out without my coffee. The staff already know my order without having to say. Walked in today 6:40am before going to work ordered my coffee, had it made I came to swipe my card and declined. Yes it's my fault for having insufficient amount in my card, which I was not aware of or I was not going to embarrass myself by going in. However told the staff after checking for cash which I had none that I would come back the next day or at my break time and pay. They refused and spilled the coffee Instead of giving it to me and having me walk out really embarrassed and unsatisfied. Real rude. Never thought of this situation and being walked out just for $2.60 and customer for over 4 years. Same thing happened to a friend of mine at Starbucks they smiled and gave her the coffee and stated these things happen after telling them she forgotten her wallet at home
Well, Allah damned. I can't believe they did that.
unethical behavior
I've experienced horrible customer service and the washroom was really dirty. The chicken in the chicken sandwich was under cook and I was given a horrible response when I asked for another one. It was very unprofessional and disappointing. I will not be coming to this Tim Hortons and I suggest others do the same unless you don't mind your meat being under cook.
hourly employee
Ive always had lunch at Tim's in downtown Columbus. The refills were always free on fountain pop..however I have no problems paying if not. However when an employee heard me ask she rudely and unprofessionally jumped in stating how they were never free..quoting some policy and making a major ordeal over a simple question. The employee continued to go on and on about this to the point it made me uncomfortable.

customer service at 133 bay st n, hamilton, on
I am very concerned about the way customers are treated at Tim Horton location at 133 Bay St N, Hamilton, ON. Store #102415. I have CIBC Tim Horton credit card and use it to accumulate Tim Horton cash. However, when I tried to redeem an electronic coupon at this location, I was treated unfair and scorned by Tim Horton staffs (Donna and other staffs). I was in store and presented the electronic coupon on my cell phone, she told me their scanner is closed at 9pm. I told her the coupon should be valid for throughout weekends including 9pm- 12am. She then told me the only place has scanner is from drive thru which she can use the scanner to serve customer but she wouldn't do this for redemption purpose. Then, I was forced to go to the drive thru window; however, Donna said drive thru only serves customers in the car. As a customer, I felt being discriminated by staffs at this location and it seem like that your staff incompetent to provide the basic service to the customer.
bagel with cream cheese
I was at the Tim Hortons on Hwy 89 and Hwy 124 in Shelbourne Ontario and ordered an everything bagel with butter and cream cheese. There was barely a hint of cream cheese and when I went back to the counter I was ordered a replacement. I was belittled by one of the male servers who suggested that next time when I order I should ask for double cream cheese... really? I am sending a pic of the original bagel I received. What bothers me the most is the servers attitude and disrespect.

Edson Branch
At around 11: 30 am, on our way from Jasper to edmonton, we took a Timmies break at Edson, because we ( 6 in family) are all Timmie 's die hard fans, placed our orders, paid and were waiting, when we saw a employee pulled cups for making coffee, she held the cup by putting her fingers inside the cup, wasn't even wearing gloves, that truly disgusted us, and we launched complaint with manager, while we were doing that manager and employees started to speak foreign language ( ?filipino), it looked like they were cursing us. Then we just stood there for more than 10 mins and nobody seemed to make our order. When we reminded the employee, she said " I am not making your order, because you think my hands are dirty", which was not the case at all, we had complained about her putting her hands inside the cup. Then another employee came and very reluctantly made our order, speaking in different language all the time with other
We lost quite a lot of unnecessary time there, when we could have reached our destination on time.. a horrible horrible experience !
