Issue: Overcharged on App, No Resolution Received to Date
I have been waiting 24 days for a resolution on a refund request of $2.72 where your app incorrectly charged me for a coffee. I hope you can assist in getting this issue resolved, as it is absolutely ridiculous I have to wait this long to get this handled.
On 3/2/21 at 9:24 AM, I filed a request through the website/app regarding being overcharged for my coffee. I ordered the coffee via the app and it was to be charged 99 cents each. I was charged full price. I provided all evidence of this in the email. I received a response saying it was being reviewed and refund to be credited within 3-7 days. Long story short, after additional emails and two phone calls (3/13, 3/17, 3/18, 3/22), still not refund and no one could help me other than opening new claims #CAS-695783-C4T2J6 and CAS-688-M9X7W8. I have reached out through your website and FaceBook and was given the wrong customer service number to call. In talking with multiple people, only 2 people expressed any sense of concern or offered empathy or an apology, but still no resolution. I escalated the issue to a supervisor who eventually called me back only to tell me he could not do anything and it was "out of his hands", the mobile app team has to handle it.
I want you to know that I have been calm and professional throughout this process, but I am getting to the end of my patience. I PERSONALLY spend well over $250 a month on your products - and this does not include what I do as a GEICO employee. I have had SO many issues with locations not training associates correctly, wrong orders, missing items, poor service, wrong charges. I don't know why I continue to support your organization. I have other options, and I think it is time to pursue them. I'm sure you don't really care, but you should. The overall customer experience has been poor at best and it is a reflection of your entire organization,
This may seem like a petty issue, and it really is, but it is the principle of the matter. I was charged incorrectly, I deserve a refund, and your team of associates need some form of coaching and/or your process needs revamped as this happens at multiple locations.
I purchased 2 coffees for Mobile Order #9924
1 large decaf: Cost $2.10, should have been 0.99 cents
1 extra large: Cost $2.40, should have been 0.99 cents
Total: $4.50 plus 0.36 tax = $4.86
Cost should have been:
Coffee 1: .99 cents
Coffee 2: .99 cents
Subtotal: $1.98
Tax .16
Total: $2.14
$4.86-2.14 = $2.72
REFUND DUE TO ME FOR: $2.72
If you want to research my previous mobile orders, you will see that Order #9901 was billed accurately. Order #9924 is exactly the same as this and was the one billed incorrectly.
Desired outcome: Timely refund/compensation, apology, and explanation.
Coffee, drive thru service, food
I go to Tim Hortons here about 6 times min a day. I have waited over 20 mins in the drive thru just to get service, never kind actually make it to the window on their evening shift. The coffee which is supposed to be 20 mins fresh is now kept in huge restaurant urns. The coffee tastes old and burnt. The food is just shoved out the door when they get it...

I was under the impression that the new fresh cooked eggs were actually cooked at every location... then I find out that here in Saint John NB that the guy who owns all the stores around here actually cooks them off location and delivers them to the stores... Explains why most of the eggs I order, I send back because the yolk is green from sitting in the steam table... Also, ever since an American company bought them out, they changed the coffee and the donut selection is down to about 6 varieties at any given time... So sad to see Tim's succumb to greed... Tim Horton is rolling in his grave... cause his namesake now sucks.
Desired outcome: one can only hope for change back
Electronic tim card
I contacted Tim Hortons after somehow ending up with a balance on an electronic Tim Card which is only accessible from a Smartphone which I don't own. I do have a physical Tim Card and wanted to switch the balance to that card but there's nothing on their website to allow me to do this. When I emailed their Help Desk I received totally useless instructions on how to link my Tim Rewards card to multiple payment cards — their response had absolutely no bearing on my original question.
Soup cream of broccoli
We bought the soup at the grocery store and when my wife open the can and poured it in the pot we found a big piece of blue rubber material almost looks like a piece of balloon or something like that I do not complain much about anything but that was pretty gross to see and it just turned my wife of buying soup I do not know the problem or how athis could happen but I think you better check it out yours respectably paul roussy

Desired outcome: Gift card or something

roll up isn't roll up at all
Apparently now you make all download an app and if anyone can't do that no other choice. Even with app nothing to scan. Apparently you have to ask the cashier to scan although not sure of that either. I have the app. Didn't want it but for contest had to have it. Nothing to scan with it. I looked all over the cups, muffin wrappers, etc. There isn't actually anything to roll up at all. This is a bit of a scam to get your app onto everybody's phone. The cups say app or online, but nothing online either. Not at all impressed.

Hi,
I'd just like you to know that I thought I would try a package of your coffee because it was on sale at Save-On Foods. I don't go shopping during the pandemic, so Save-On pick out my order & deliver it to me. When I opened the bag/pouch of coffee I found that it was only half-full, so I thought I should let you know, so you can check where it was packaged & that they didn't half-fill thousands of packages.
Thank you,
Laurie Mark
PS The Save-On store is in South Surrey, B.C., Canada & if you want to let me know how you did my email address is '[protected]@hotmail.ca'
Desired outcome: FYI
Roll up to win
Your new roll up contest does not allow seniors on fixed income access. I have been a loyal customer since 1964 when the first store opened in Hamilton. I can't afford a cell phone, cable or internet. One of my only luxuries is my Tim Horton coffee each day. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs my coffee with friends is my main pleasure. I live at 280 Miller Rd. Dutton On. N0L 1J0 please send me an explanation by mail to the reasons we are now not included anymore.
I completely agree with you. Some of us don't have all the technology or haven't learned. I've also been a loyal and faithful customer for over 45 years. I have to say that I feel like I'm being ostracized. To the Horton company, our age group helped to MAKE you who you've become. Regarding health and safety during the Pandemic, I have a solution for you. You could still keep roll the rim, after rolling, there would be a SKU or number and your workers could use their scanner to see what the win is. I'm really disappointed and upset with you guys. You have just lost a great customer of over 45 years. Please send me a response, not a generic one please. Now I'm going to have a Nescafe coffee. P.S. I wonder if the original Tim Horton is rolling in his grave, after all, he just wanted to sell good coffee to great people in the community.
Poor customer service
I went to this lake shore location and order sausage on bagel.my bagel wasn't upto my expectations upon request for making new one the guy was rude to make it again.
Desired outcome: Staff need more training
Roll up the rim - app
Hello, I visit Tim Hortons daily and ever since the roll up the rim started I have not been able to open my app and scan to get my rolls. Its worked only twice since the roll-up the rim started... Please bring back the roll up the rim on cups instead of having to use the app, it's a big pain in the butt, especially when I never get to claim my rolls.
Desired outcome: bring back roll up the rim on the cups, not the app
Always get an ice capp, and the cup is always sliced open. Tired of it.
I went there tonight 3/14/21 to get an iced coffee, and ice cap. The cup of the ice cap was sliced on the side once again like it always is. I'm tired of it, every time it's the same thing. The iced coffee wasn't how I asked for it to be made either, didn't even taste like vanilla. Asked for 4 & 4, didn't taste like it either. $5.98 every night I spend there, and half the time there's always a problem.

Hello I was wanting to find out something why was it when they had the cup for roll up the rim even when you took free one in you always got another cup to roll up but why with the new way using the app on the phone you dont get the extra roll even if you claim a free one you will only get a roll for the one you pay for and not the free one like you did when you used to have to roll up rims on the mugs .
Service, product issue, overcharged
3/13/2021 Tim Hortons Oxford, Michigan I tried to order a sandwich with chicken, but was told they were out of chicken. So I changed my order to a turkey bacon club, sandwich only. When I received my sandwich, I drove away. I began to eat it, and realized there was only one thin slice of turkey on it. Very thin. Is this the recipe? It seems like a lot of...

Okay someone needs to close down Tim Hortons (Wawa Branch) for good. My boyfriend told me that his friend that lives in Ontario says that the whole tim hortons staff (including the owners) bully a 24 year old autistic man for more than 8 years. They keep going and now because of their mistakes, he's serving jail time. The owners send their kids to spy on...
Read full review of Tim Hortons8 out 10 of my last orders were wrong or missing something
8 out of ten of my last visits to the local Tim Hortons in Little current Ontario were either wrong or missing something. Today is where I draw the line I asked how to redeem my prizes I was instructed to activate it and ask at speaker then I handed my phone to redeem the roll ups on today's purchase and they took my cash and said it was too late then didn't give me my rewards. If it was any other worker I would probably just let it go but we live in a small town and I am aware that this girl named Christy that served me was fired from a previous job at the local shell gas station for stealing air miles. For all I know I could have won a car but will never know now because of this issue
Desired outcome: At the very least my rewards for the three coffee and some kind of restitution for all the mistakes in the recent past
Quality of food
Good Morning, I have been moved to a new work place in Dundas, Ontario Normally I visit Tim Hortons in Caledonia and have been very happy with their services. Adults make their own decisions. Tim does not work for the government. So why should he enforce their mask policy? I have been served at tims, without a mask for this past year. Today I was refused service, with my exempt card. Tim should recognize exempt people, and those refusing the mask cult. Show me your science. Not the political science you are...
