Robbery
I was in tj max in Philadelphia 1851 Christopher Columbus Blvd and witnessed a robbery with a security guard right there a guy came in cut security alarms off of 8 handbags I believe they were Michael Kors Handbags the security guy said to him I see you bro the guy said I know and walked right out of the store no one did nothing I approached a manager and she said they are not allowed to stop or say anything to anyone who steals from there store I was scared and would never go back there again and I am in that store a least 3x’s a week what a disgrace
Shirt
Today I shopped a shirt at TJ Maxx, 875 Queens Street, Southington CT. On the shirt was a red tag price of $8 which was very clearly marked and $ 8 sticker was very firmly affixed. On the checkout price was scanned as $34. I brought it out in the notice that the price affixed was different from price scanned. The manager was called and she said that we cannot sell you the shirt for $8 as somebody has wrongly put it on. Well it is the fault of the store if they put wrong price. I spent time looking for shirts and for me the price is what is put on the sticker. TJ Maxx should have sold the shirt for $8 which was on the tag. Does it mean that the prices on the tags could be wrong and customers at other occasion may be paying more that the actual price. How could I pay 34 when it clearly shows $8. What if had paid $34 and if I wanted to return then would TJMaxx take $8 as $34. I am a regular customer and today I had been thoroughly disappointed. Now I would always be doubtful about the prices.
Staff at TJ Maxx were adamant and were not willing to even listen to my argument.

Shopping bags in front of store
I went to TJ Maxx on Sat 4/9 in McMurray Pa for a little shopping. I've always enjoyed TJ and have been a loyal customer for over 20 yrs. However my family and I are seriously reconsidering shopping elsewhere. Here are the reasons. As I was checking out I noticed on the wall a long line of shopping bags with the words BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL. I found that to be highly offensive and racist. We are suppose to a society that recognizes all people not just one group. It is discrimination to have a sign like that hanging up in your store. Where is the sign that touts WHITE IS BEAUTIFUL?ASIAN IS BEAUTIFUL?
The lady who waited on me this past Saturday told me that people had been complaining all day about those bags. KEEP POLITICS OUT OF RETAIL! Take down those bags and replace them with more appropriate ones

Our family has stoped shopping at Tj max. It’s ridiculous to not let customers us the bathrooms. There are Pregnant women small children and older people. That just can’t wait! You have to walk out leaving the things you want, to go run and find a bathroom. To be honest I’m ready to drop my drawers and pee on your floor. Store in coral springs. My dghtr works closing and this same manager every time keeps her employees hostage clocked out past their shift. She has them clock out and they have to wait more than 20.mins for her to circle around the store to do whatever and make them wait for her to finish. It is absolutely against the law for them to clock out and have to remain hostage inside the store. An employee this evening had to call her to let them out. I will call the dept of labor on you if not addressed. I expect a response back at [protected]@hotmail.com. i will call corporate tmrw as well as the store.

I went to purchase a gift on 3/4/22 at 10:33 am on location 15740 N. Dale Mabry. Tampa, FL. I purchase 5 items and realized while still in my car ready to leave that 6 items were scanned instead of 5. When I was at the cashier she mentioned something she likes about another item as a distraction. I thought it was unusual . I suspected this is Not the first time she has done this, stealing money from customers. It was cashier 1004 on 3/4/22 at 10:33 am. Very disappointed and so inconvenient. I recommend management take a look at this closer because this is not her first time and will continue to happen at this store.
Online shopping
I ordered a camo hoodie $39.99 on January 8. They sent the wrong item so I shipped it back. Today is February 10 and I’ve been waiting on my refund since I returned it which was immediately after I got the wrong item in the mail. They finally sent a credit card for $9.31. I called support and was told ( Oh ! I’m sorry, it got messed up and we’ll send the rest in 7-10 days in an email. It will have taken them well over a month to get my full refund for something they screwed up in the first place. I’ll never use TJ Maxx online again so beware and don’t waste your time with em.

I like shopping at tj max but on many occasions have encountered a rude manager or cashier!

the cashier i encountered today did not provide a bag when i asked for one. She said she had no small bags and was very distracted. Did not provide eye contact and was constantly looking elsewhere! was not courteous at all! very disturbing!
On-line shopping
First, let me say that I have been shopping at the TJX stores for years and for the most part, have always had good experiences. However, whenever they started their online shopping it has changed (particularly around the holidays). I submit an order, generally between $300-$500, and almost always 8-10 days later they start cancelling items that were very much available and in my cart when I submitted my order. This is extremely frustrating, again, particularly when I'm shopping for items for family and friends around the holidays. I think that I have my shopping pretty much completed and then, at the last minute, items are cancelled out of the blue. In addition to managing their inventory, they really need to do something about shipping in a timely fashion. Even in a non-holiday period, you're talking 10-14 or more days (ridiculous). Home Goods just started their online platform and I ordered a number of items from them as well. I received every item I ordered and in less than a week. So if one of your divisions can do it, I'm not sure why all of them cannot. With competition from Target, Amazon, etc. where items are delivered in 1-2 days, TJX (Marshalls and TJ's) are really operating in a different era, one that is not customer friendly.

Locker sharing store 1194
I have been an employee of TJ Maxx store 1194 10 and 1/2 yrs. I have had locker 11 the entire time. No one has ever had to share a locker. On Monday Nov 8th I ended my shift. When I opened my locker I found a purse and water not belonging to me. I immediately contacted a manager to inform him someone is using my locker. This was when I found out about locker sharing. No one asked if I would be willing to share my locker with someone I do not know. Nothing was ever mentioned. Seven (7) lockers have locks turned backward indicating they are not being used but they are assigned to associates. I ended the day angry and took my personal items with me. On Friday, my next scheduled shift, I opened my locker again finding someone's things. So much for respecting one's privacy.
T J Maxx has all associates do an assessment before each shift, required to wear mask, limited associates in the break room at one time and continue to use plexie glass but locker sharing is acceptable.
My purse contains a lot of personal information, my cell phone and car keys. I don't appreciate someone else having access to my locker.
I hope you can give this matter serious attention. A lot of associates at TJX feel as I do.

Replacement card
3 weeks ago I ordered a replacement card, new card misspelled my name. Called them, waited for new card, went to Marshals and it did not work, tried about 15 times... Finally worked. Yesterday, went to TJ MAX and card did not work at all. Tried multiple times and had to use another card... Embarrassing with a line of people behind me. Called customer service, representative was dismissive, but talked to "her manager". Said they would give me $10 off balance. I've spent over $1000 in a month. I asked her to make it right. Is this the way TJ Max/Marshalls treats loyal customers? Staff in the store were Great.
Desired outcome: Credit points for dollars I spent when I could not use my card. Or gift certificate.
Returns without a receipt
Today on my visit to tjmax wanting to return sweater to which i had recently purchased (last week) however when i looked several times to which no luck on receipt ... So i was advised my next return without receipt i may be denied! i am upset as i shop at tjmax frequently and dressing rooms at clinton pointe plaza clinton twp mi are not open no exployees whatever there excuses are everytime i shop there and now i am being told if i loose receipt dont bother? what policy is this at least at burlington coat factory i am not treated so poorly as they have awards program keeps all my receipts on file on register and they are happy to locate recipt
why am i being denied ? because i shop at tjmax too much and havent been able to try items on or family not happy with gifts ect.

Today, I was shopping at the Dubuque, IA Tj max location and was waiting in line to check out my items. At the time there were 4 registers open and 2 were doing returns/exchanges. When it was my turn the two registers that were checking out closed and I was the only person in line waiting to be helped. I had to wait in line until one of the registers that were doing returns was finished up with their customer. I feel this is very poor customer service. I understand that employees have breaks and lunchtimes, but it is the manager's responsibility to make sure the employees can do so and at the same time make sure customers and being taken care of.
Desired outcome: My suggestion would be to have a designated register for returns and make sure that there is always a register open checking out customers.

Cheryl Jordan is one of the key careers at Tjmaxx in Pasadena Maryland. She is rude and she doesn't know how to talk with other associates as a perfect leader. She never helps customer service unless MOD will be there. She doesn't know anything teamwork. On 10/14/2021, i purchased ($12.99) in new hampshire - no sales tax, (1) small, silver calphalon frying pan using my debit card. I washed the pan before use and the price sticker fell off in the wash. I want to return to calphalon frying pan, due to its small size. It's just too small to be usable.
Unfortunately, i have no receipt, either. The cashier was too busy pushing the stupid tj maxx credit card that she never printed my receipt. I told her (3) x's i was not interested in the credit card! she kept pushing it. Now, i have an unusable, in re-saleable order, calphalon frying pan for $12.99, with its original card. I cannot return this product due to a washed off bottom sticker. No receipt! this is terrible customer service, overall. Pots & pans price stickers should not be stuck on the bottoms of the pans, where they fall off, get burned up in use or get washed off. I have the original calphalon pan card, if the price sticker had been placed on there i would still have the tj maxx price sticker! even without the receipt and would be able to make an honest return, now i cannot due to ineptitude from the cashier and the price person who place d a tj maxx price sticker on the bottom of the pan!
Desired outcome: $12.99 back on my Debit card and return of small Calphalon frying pan.
A clothing item
So I bought a clothing item from Warren mi, and they left the patch on the clothing, she didn't even bother to take it off you shouldn't have people careless about this stuff, working for professional jobs especially it's lack of courtesy. I just wanted to point this out, she didn't even second glance at the patch to take it off, that's highly unnecessary in a clothing company to not understand the way things work as a cashier. Car dented in parking lot my basket
I came out of the store after shopping at tjmaxx on Preston rd in Dallas to find a basket in the back end of my bmw, their insurance company won't fix it, I will never shop there again . They are horrible and the insurance company that use are scam artist they don't want to communicate with you, ignore calls, etc will be contacting bbb and attorney they are so cheap they won't even pay my 1000 deductible

They only lease the space from a property management company. did you happen to get a police report. if you have full coverage insurance there usually a part of the policy's for uninsured motorist it does not have a deductible depending on your policy. At TJX store of Redondo Beach 1401 Hawthorne Blvd. I went there with my familyand bought luggage 675940. The ticket shows $59.99 and when we got to the cashier they found out that there were two tickets attached. One for $59.99 and the other for 69.99 . They told us that the correct one was the $69.99 and it was their error and pull out the ticket with lower price. I don't think this was right. We got the luggage with the price of $69.99 not $59.99. They should honor the lower price. I talked to the store manage Briana Suna and she still told us that the correct price is $69.99 and they made us to pay that amount if we want it.
