I just bought a formal jacket, when I asked the lady who assisted me not to fold it because it's a formal jacket and it'll be wrinkled by the time I get home she told me I should buy a whole suite in order for me to get a hanger with attitude. I am not happy at all with the service I just received.
I have bought a formal jacket before and receive proper packaging for it at Truworths Cradlestone mall. If this the kind of service Truworths offers its customers then I feel I should take my money where it'Lloyd be valued

Today I got the shock of my life when I opened my truworths account online and found out its in arrears. I have been making payment since december abd I have not missed one payment. I always make sure I pay the amount im supposed to pay as I do not want a bad credit. My last payment was made on tuesday via internet banking and the other in April. So how on earth is my account in arrears cause last I checked un April I had close to R400 in my account. Truworths please explain

I bought an OBR Jacket R899 last year end of winter. I washed it once last year as I didn't wear it much and I again washed it this weekend, which is for the second time and it has already lost it's color. It's too bad to wear it outdoors.
I can't afford to buy a Jacket for R899 and only wear it when I am home. I need exchange or refund. I love the Jacket so much, I would be happy if I can get an exchange.
horrible quality of ginger mary
Although I bought my R1600 Ginger Mary jacket in February, I only now had the chance to wear it for the first time as we have a massive, rainy cold-front in Pretoria.
I am not well off. I do not have the funds to buy at Truworths. I used 3 different gift vouchers to pay for this amazing jacket I wished to possess. I waited 13 months to find the perfect garment to spend my vouchers on and I finally found it, on sale, withing my voucher budget. 2 birthday gifts and a Christmas gift all put together, I found the jacket. So I bought it. I am so happy with the service and they were so helpful to find the right fit.
But I put the jacket on yesterday for the fist time and I am literally in tears. There is lose threads and clip buttons are lose and ripped out. After one wear. And I am careful because it is my most prized possession
I am shocked, and so incredibly disappointing.

bad customer service regarding faulty hisense u962 cell phone
I bought a Hisense U962 Cellphone from your Musgrave Center branch (branch number: 489) on Saturday 5th May 2018. The sale was done at 12:19pm (Transaction Number: 106 1406).
This phone has proved to be faulty as three times this week it has switched off and factory reset itself, deleting the apps and contacts I had loaded.
I returned to the same branch today, Saturday 12th May, at approximately 10:00am to report the faulty phone. I was expecting to have the phone exchanged as it was returned within 7 days. I was informed by your staff that unfortunately, by their calculation, it was now day 8 since the transaction and that the phone would need to be sent away for a Warranty Assessment which could take 3 weeks.
In my opinion, this is not the case as 7 days had not past since the time and date of the transaction.
I am not able to get to your store during your open times in the week and could only get there on Saturday. I believe that in laymans terms, that 7 days would be regarded as a week and that a product bought on a Saturday, and returned the following Saturday, would qualify for your "7 day out of box" warranty, which according to the CPA should have a replacement of the same model or cash refund.
I do not want a cash refund but would like the phone replaced as I don't have a spare phone and can't be without a phone for 3 to 4 weeks waiting for a resolution.
I trust that this makes a little more sense to you than your staff and managers at the Musgrave Branch who were dead set on upholding the company policy and less interested in the customer. I firmly believe that, if we are to get completely technical on the matter, 7 days is 168 hours and that I returned the product within 166 hours of the purchase.
Having problems uploading supporting document as I just get the message "can't upload file" yet it is in the required format.

I have been a loyal customer for truworths but lately im disappointed on how they treated me and eventually have settled my acount with truworths because its treating us like thieves. Im still getting messages from you harassing me to paya saying im owing I dont understand how cos I have settled everything. And im fedup of getting messages from truworths. On the 20th April 2018 I ordered 3 items online to be delivered at my nearest Truworths store. These items were all charged on my account. On the 2nd May 2018 I went to fetch the order and find that only 2 Items were packaged. I went back to the store with the package to advise them. They phoned Head Office but nothing came out of that call. I advised that since I haven't received the 3rd item I want my account credited. How can I pay for something I haven't received. I need an explanation
bad cosmetic consultants / lack of knowledge and unfriendliness
The truworths store in baywest port elizabeth and walmer park has hands down the worst service... When going to a consultant by a cosmetics counter there is always and only one person with a lack of knowledge to assist you, not only are they incompetent but they don't really want to help you, when one wants to sample or test a product they never have or they tell you there is nobody there for the day! Been to cape town canal walk and got excellent service. Port elizabeth has the worst and most horrible woman working behind their counters, not only on one occasion on alot... So disgusting really when we are there to spend money... Cleary they dont want to help us!

Was not treat fairly as customer when enter the shop was pushing trolley enter the shop from other shops then my trolley beep the lady called lindiwe security she said I may proceed.
After my shopping when out to exit door again trolley beep I went out she shout at me hey you are you! Are deaf! Cant you hear alarm ringing! She wanted to search me then ask why when enter the shop you said may proceed?
I called the manager shes lady also she said she will take care of the matter all eyes when on me like I am thief I am so embarrased and dissapointed with the security services in the store she should respect deaf people they didnt ask to be like that. Only god knows about us not her.

My account is in arrears but this does not mean that the I have to suffer embarrassments form your stuff. I use to get call everyday from truworths and every time I tried to answer the caller hangs up and keep quite until I hang up. The last caller I spoke to refused to make arrangements with me saying that she will not give me any alternative dates because when she hangs the call, my account will be handed over to the lawyers.
Sad enough is that I am still getting those funny call.
I will appreciate with Truworths can stop harassing and give me the opportunity to make arrangements to pay off this account and close it. Or hand me to the lawyers because I think its better to deal with professionals than your office stuff.

Went to truworths in Eastgate bedfordview yesterday, forgot actually why I always avoid going to that truworts.
Greenstone did not had medium left in a jursey my suster wanted, I got her a small but to tight so went there to exchange, she also ask, please check for brown boots and brown shoes.
Got a few things and I tried shoes on sale, told my mom just check the boots and prices. And I heard a commotion. This Indian old lady go off at my mother, you not allowed to take pictures, so told ok, I can do this at Green stone, edenmedows, mall of Africa and Sandton city. She is everything in store is online. Well you know and I know that is not true. Told her mostly the staff help even getting the things my sister want. Told her what am I going to do with the picture, does it look like I make shoes. She said we need premision, and she keeps on going on and on, said I heard you. Leave it now I will go to another truworths to buy shoe. So I try to communicate with my mother, she will come stand between me and my mother and yup yup further. I have shoes in my hand I want to fit and ask do she think will fit, and this lady just kept on yapping yapping, so I took the shoes and told her take your dam shoes and stuck it. For goodness sake have respect if people in conversation bud out none of your dam business is. How unprofessional, then following us like lap dog, did I steal, did I not say will not pay. I complaint at the Teller about this lady. Just ok sorry, everyone looks like they at a funeral no emotional, lack of leadership lack of everything. So paid my things, walk from tills to exit, security stopped me she needs to check my bags, seems that old Indian lady instructed her becouse other people also bought there could leave so I lost it. Went to Edgar's, those stuff friendly helpful, not a problem, got actually things my sister like there. From there went back to edenmedows and greenstone truworths. Their staff is friendly good mannered, got things I like buy it no hassles. Told their managers about experience I received at Eastgate, he said that is unacceptable behavior from them. And I am not the only one complaining about Eastgate. Said their staff can be sent to Edenvale to learn customer service professionalism and respect. It happened numeruous times that when I shop at Truworths Vredenburg, that I am referred to pay at Truworths Man, even if I am there to pick up a fashion delivery, I must go to the Man department, say what im there for and then go back to Truworths.. Its not on.. The staff rather do housekeeping than helping a customer.. Don't feel like going back there anymore.

I am writing to you in great disappointment with your quality of clothing. Which I find extremely strange as this never use to be an issue.
For the price that we paying on your clothing I would at least expect the quality to be worth it.
My father in law has been a loyal customer to your brand for years has an account with you for years and he recently has been experiencing terrible experiences with your quality of your jeans especially as this is what he usually purchases from you.
He has recently bought on more than one occasion a pair of jean which he has take back numerous times due to quality and even on one occasion the store he went to return the item to refused to take the jeans back.
He is now wanting to close his account with you, which would be a great disappointment seeing that he has been with you for years even though you get new customers on a daily its the established existing ones you need to ensure are still happy as well.
I am writing to you on his behalf to let you know about the bad experience we have had with your clothing recently.
I hope to hear from someone as soon as possible with a solution as we cant be having this type of issue.

I have a complain about a ladies top that I have purchased at Truworths Waverley in November 2017. It cost a reduculace price of R399.95! But I liked it a lot therefore I purchased it. Now after about 4 washed it is falling apart... I have fotos which I would like to send to you so that yoy can see what I am taking about. I am very dissipointed in Truworths since the clothes are expensive and therefore one would expect that it is from a higher quality... I would like to return the ladies top since it is unacceptable to pay such a high price for such bad quality clothing.

I bought a printed outback red t-shirt a month ago and whenever I wash it, I struggle to get the T-shirt apart after coming off the line. The print is either sticking against each other or it's sticked against the back side of the t-shirt if its turned on the wrong side. This morning some of the blue print came off onto the white side of my tshirt and I feel very upset cause firstly it never happened before and secondly it wasn't a cheap T-shirt when I purchased it.

bras with silicone
In January 2018 I bought bras in truworths store menlyn the bras have silicone and the stated if this causes irritation discontinue use, which I did return to soahanguve crossing truworths store but received bad service which a supervisor declined my request to see a store manager and name saying it's not allowed. I had to travel town for my refund at truworths in church Street but unfortunately am left with scars on my back due to their product.

bad attitude and security
I was at the groove mall pretoria yesterday around 2pm.
This is not the firat time ths happening. The cashier is very rude and has bad attitude. It wil be as if she doimge a favour to serve me. She wil be very moody and of coarse very cheeky. Its not the first time ths happening.
She doesnt have a name tag. They call her by ntswaki. I had one of the cashiers next to her calling by that name.
Security muat be tightened because these are alwys instore amd thy wil be all dressedup and thy look like a couple but thy wil be busy searching people. I have witnessed this several time. As I wil be scared to b dollowed too so I dnt make any reports coz these people are dangerous.

On the 28 February 2018, my husband went to Truworths mall of Africa requesting for a sample of the Estee Lauder Double wear foundation. My husband asked one of the consultants and he want rudely turned away and mentioned the Estee Lauder lady was not there and nobody can assist him. He was rather surprised that the consultants can be so rude and dismissive. When ever we approach any of the Truworths store, all the make consultant act as if they own the store and are not willing to distribute samples so easily.
please can you have a training session with the make up staff and teach them about customer service and that samples are for patrons to try out. Even the perfume bottles are always empty or the caps are removed so that customers cannot try them out...

I only purchase Uzzi clothing as you will see on my account, from underwear, socks, shoes, belts clothing etc.
I was in JHB on holiday and still managed to make time to go shopping for my Uzzi attire.
I traveled to many stores to purchase all the colors, not all the colors was available so I took all that I could find in each store.
This is the 1st time I'm using the brown shoe as you can see in the images attached, its in immaculate condition, and iv noticed that there is no label on the sole.
