uzzi mens formal shoe
Good Day,
I have been a big fan of Uzzi gear for years, I recently purchased a Formal Shoe 02/08/2017 for R550.00 and find it unacceptable for the Uzzi badges to be coming of already.
I have 2 other pairs of Uzzi footwear which respectively are 4 5 years old, both still look new.
I will be taking the shoe back to Truworths Wonderpark Mall in Pretoria North this afternoon and would like for the shoe to be replaced as this is clearly a manufacturing defect.

bad service given by truworths
On the 2nd November 2017 at 11H28 I went to Truworths Alberton City to order a jacket to be delivered at Protea Gardens Mall in 5 working days under ref no [protected].
The Jackets was showing in different stores that's why they placed an order for me. On the 9th I went to Protea Gardens to fetch the jacket to my surprise the jacket was not there and the lady called the manager and they called the head office to find out why it was not delivered, the was no sufficient explanation to the staff member of Protea Gardens.
When I spoke to Head office on Monday [protected] they told me I had over R500 in my account though the Jacket was R650, Truworths was suppose to call me when they receive an order to tell me so that I could have paid the balance to receive the jacket.
Truworths has failed me as I still need the jacket and I have utilised the funds I had in my account and I will pay as soon as the jacket is delivered to the arranged store and with no charge of R40.00 as wasted my time and petrol to fetch the item which was not there. This matter will go to OMBUDSMAN if not sorted.

Please advise why letter with vouchers dated 24/09/2017 was received on 13/11/2017? These vouchers expired on 07/11/2017? Please identify if the delay was Truworths delivery or Postmaster services. These vouchers are useless to committed account holders. Disappointed.

Hi, On the 13th November 2017 around about 13:40 at Trueworths Gardens I went to exchange a jean I bought for a friend for a gift it was on sale at the time, came to the till and was assisted by a lady... not sure what her name was I asked if I can please get a refund for this unwanted gift I bought, she checked the jean and said the tags are not attached and there for not able to exchange it, as I explained it was a gift for a friend and I took off the tags... she then said there's no way they will accept the jean... and please beware I went to another Truworths in Somerset West they were going to take it back with tags not attached... but they didn't have any cash as it was still early morning so I decided to change it at Garden's branch as its closer to my work the next day, I told her that and asked does each branch policy differ and she said no... and then she called her supervisor who was on duty at the time (Althea her name was I think), I explained the same thing to her and was told they also dont have any cash I should come after 17:00 which I agree as im 5min away from the store, and please be aware the attitude they had was so upsetting, I then came to the store 17:30 to exchange it then being addressed by the supervisor saying she wont be able to exchange due to the one lady saw the rolled turnips have dust on it... now please know this was a sale item... when I bought the jean I never check the turnips or nor did the sales lady... so how on earth? then the supervisor went on saying normal people buy gift cards and not clothing items as a gift with such a rude attitude with a smirk on her face? really now? I was becoming very offensive and upset and I told her well I am the person who buys clothing as gifts and there's nothing wrong with that... how dare she even tell me something like that... now I was at a point where I knew she is being rude and disrespectful, I told her this is ridiculous as this is a sales items how many people fit the jean on and it could be easily caught with dust? the jean was brand new not a single dirt mark nothing she could complain about, at one point she said this jean seems it was worn... so I just looked at her and said you know what I will call head office and thats why im here writing this message, I feel that no matter where you are and what the situation is these sales ladies should always be polite and helpful I mean. I paid cash for a item that was unwanted and to be assisted by these 2 rude ladies says a lot about your company, no help and not even trying to assist me in this situation, shopping should be easy but also when exchanging things why should one feel as if you a theft and being asked 110 questions to why you refunding because in my case this was exactly it, was asked 110 questions and being treated as if i'm lying... but I do have applause Somerset west Trustworths when back to them the same day just before 19:00 they assisted me with no problem took the jean found no problem with it... now that is real customer service... what a excellent branch! but please deal with Trueworths Gardens as I feel this is needed as I customer.
unable to exchange item without slip
I phoned your canal walk store on 12 November 2017 and asked if there was no way I could exchange a gift without a slip. I even offered to take something else for a family member if I dont find what I like. However I was advised that the supervisor are unable to help me. Staff cant even exchange it for a gift voucher or any other item. Bad Service. It says alot when retail companies do not go the extra mile to help their customers.

Hi I bought underwears at truworths The Glen and as it the policy not to return underwears... I threw away the slip and to my suprise only a day or two after wearing them.. they are tearing apart u know I cant exactly go back to the shop with the underwear that I already used to complain about it... I normally buy at Woolworths but I thought I could try truworths but that was the biggest mistake ever.. I paid a small fortune for those underwears since you know your products are not excatly cheap... but the quality is extremely poor... what must I do I feel cheated for underwears that are of bad quality whereas I paid a lot for them... all 3 are tearing apart I had to sow some holes... really Truworths it's Falseworths

I have used Kouros since the 90's (and it first came out in 1981) This is my most favorite and preferred fragrance and I would go through a bottle per two months or so, and would actually save money to buy the fragrance. However, on 28 October 2017, I bought a 100ml KOUROS Perfume (Yves Saint Laurent) at Truworths Menlyn Mall, Pretoria on my Truworths Account. The long and short of my story is that I would normally spray a few shots around the neck, shirt shots and wrist which I did on two separate days during the past week (special occasions). I know that the aroma of this fragrance is so strong, intense, that every second person you meet would inquire on what fragrance I am wearing and for this reason, I wouldn't waste my money on anything else (unless I receive anything else as a gift) - and the smell of the fragrance would go all day, even my shirt / top that I was wearing would still have the clean, fresh, KOUROS smell when I undress after a day / occasion. I herewith inform you that the fragrance that I have bought does NOT at all meet my expectations - the smell of KOUROS is only there when you spray the shots and for a short while; no usual feedback from anyone about my fresh fragrance; nothing on my garments when I undress after a day / occasion. Take note that at the time of making my purchase (28/10), that I took a box sealed container (100ml) from the shelve and off to the paypoint, however, the salesperson came to the counter and offered me a gift pack (100ml + Shower Gel - unsealed) which happened to the same price, actually the shower gel for free - don't know if this could mean anything to Quality of KOUROS
You would appreciate the fact KOUROS is pricey and actually very expensive and I can not for one minute accept the fact that I have to sit with a worthless item on which I have spend the required price and that it does not meet my expectations - what I have actually bought it for. I request that the KOUROS that I have bought be exchanged for a box sealed unit - haven't opened the shower gel, and that the matter be brought under the agent that sells KOUROS to Truworths because we would still buy the product. However, if the replaced product does the same, I request than a full refund after which I would consider importing the product.
unethical behavior from a call centre agent
I called Truworths [protected] at around 16h15PM and an agent (with a coloured female tone) answered my call.
I felt she was rude to me as the line inbetween was not clear and the way she raised her voice. When I enquired about the bad line I could pick up a temper from her which I did not appreciate.
When I confronted her about it I received a very sarcastic response saying "I am actually not rude"
I was a bit annoyed about her tone and asked to speak to her manager or supervisor, SHE HANGED ME UP RIGHT THERE!
I followed up with another call as I thought I am not going to let her go, pity I did not get her name. I spoke to a supervisor named Widaad Samsodin who gently assisted me with my query with Truworths and asked her to follow up with my complaint towards the unpleasant lady.
I trust this channel will assist in identifying this rude person and discipline them for their behavior at customer services.
I am very disappointed at Truworths. I feel like paying off this account and closing it, publicise this womans behavior and never recommend anyone to open an account with you due to this unethical behavior experience.
wanted to exchange brand new items with tags that I received as gifts but was refused
I went to the Vaal Mall Truworths on 24/10/2017 to exchange baby clothing bought from Eartchild and Naartjie that I received as gifts. Everything is brand new with tags and I was refused as they do not know whether it was cash or account. This is unacceptable as I now sit with expensive baby clothing that I can't change. When I asked to speak to a manager so that they could advice me on which steps to follow to get the goods exchanged I was told "The manager will not come and see you, she is too busy and this is our policy"
I find this unacceptable as all your biggest competition retail stores allows you to exchange with tags but without a slip. I did not want a cash refund or anything else, I just wanted to EXCHANGE for something else.

Everyday more more than 10 times a day I get calls from your credit collecting department to a point where I now have blocked the number but I still get the voice messages.
I am not a client, not have I ever been and nor will I ever be due to this experience!
I have phoned the number I have asked for my number to be removed from the system I have asked to speak to complaints but my attempts have been futile. This causes an inconvenience to me, my phone is forever flat because of these calls and frankly I am now tired of this place calling me. Its been for 3 different people I have no relationship with.
Please see to this immediately, my next complaint will be to the consumer goods and services ombudsman.

Today your call centre called me on my cell phone and asked me when I am going to pay my arrear account with Truwoths.
I explained to him that the account is paid up, in fact your branch at Mall Of The North reimburst me with R1000.00 and odd rand that I were in credit after confirmed with Head Office.
He then started speaking rudely with a aggressive tone and said NO IT is NOT.

Your institution unlawfully debited my bank account every month although my account with you were paid in full. This was done by you directly or indirectly by your agents.
This call from your call centre caused me inbarashment as the call was on my car hands free device whilst traveling with work associates, not to mention the stress level caused by your employee / agent acting on your behalf and representing your institution.
I will grant you five (5) working day (expiring on midday 21 September 2017) to respond in writing via e-mail regarding this matter informing me of your findings and or action taken as well as your good will in compensating me for the imbarashmrnt brought over me due to the operator's arrogant behavior and attitude.

I was in store (Truworths somerset mall) to buy my sister a phone on my account, she had her id nd proof of address and I only had id as da phone was not going to be registered under my name because it was not mine... Then I was told I need to have proof of address aswell and I need cellphone plan (Have no idea what's that). After they made it clear that they not gona assist me without I told them I was gonna go print statement then they told me they closing. So basically I wasted my petrol for ppl who don't value all the customer... So disappointed

I bought shoes at store and they were not available and the lady who helped advised that they at Rustenburg, that I can buy them and get the delivered to the store closest to me. This was on the 27th of August and I received no communication from Truworths about the shoe being out of stockpot even a call.
I am not happy about the service because I could have been advised last week During the week that the shoe is not available only to wait till the day I was old I will get the shoes then u receive an sms.
The service is horrible and I am not happy since when I bought the shoe was available now it's NOT. I believe that someone WA given preference over me.

I have bought a Daniel Hechter jean for my husband 3 weeks ago. He has worn it twice. And the Jean torn between his legs. I am not very happy about the situation.
I am not prepared to pay R700 for such poor quality.
Therefor I rather buy more expensive clothes for better quality. But this is definatley not good quality.
And Daniel Hechter is suppose to be one of the better qualities out there.
I would expect this of a R300 jean.
Please let me know how I can get my money back.

I was phoned by one of the call centre people in the week about my account and made arrangements to pay R300 due to unforeseen circumstances. I kept getting messages about non payment even after making arrangements. Then I phoned on the 24/08/2017 and spoke to Phulisile Elamini. I stated my account number and the reason for phoning. She just went on a tangent that I need to pay plus minus R700. I had to stop her and asked if she can go look why the previous caller did not log it or made a comment about the arrangement. And lo and behold it was on the system. I arrange once again to payR300 and she kept on insisting R360. Please if the call centre people does not know how to speak to clients then I suggest they need to go on training
fashion delivery and customer service
Submitted my order on the 22nd of July 2017. I received two of the three items on 27th July. I phoned about five times about the third item, with promises of feedback every time form customer service and yet nothing has been resolved nor have I received any feedback from the courier company. The Item has already been allocated to my account and I pay for the delivery service. Portia and Dominique where the customer service people whose names I remember, I don't recall the other names.

Where previously on debt review and R8500 were over allocated to my Truworths account that shows as a credit. Truworths refuses to refund my money and refuses to allow me to purchase for this amount. Met with management at the Uitenhage branch and they requested a letter from my debt review agent that states that all my debts were settled. I submitted this letter to them unfortunately after 3 years I'm still where I've started of with no feedback or any assistance to resolve this matter need urgent resolve regarding this. R8500 cannot lie unallocated in an account for this period of time without any resolution

We bought a Police bracelet from the store in East rand Mall, the employee advised that the braclet can be shortend by ant jewelry shop, after trying to get the item to size (at all jewelry shops) I contacted the Police head office to request there assistance. I was advised at the item cannot be shortend and that the employee should have given me the selection of small medium and large. This was not the case and I had to take what was in the store as the employee was not that helpfull nor was he informed that there was different sizes. It irritates me if I specnd money and the employees does not know what they are doing and can assist there customers. The manager advised my wife that the bracelet now cant be refunded as there is scratches on it, I had to take it to shops, looking for someone to help me gettinh the bracelet shortened. Please assist as this is not acceptable and although we spent money the after sales is not there to help.

harassment about "overdue account"
I have been receiving text messages for the last couple of month about my so called account with Truworths that is in arrears. I do not have an account with Truworths. I have phoned their toll free number from the messages numerous times - each time they check my cell phone number and ID number and state that according to their system I do not have an account with them, but they will look into the matter and someone will get back to me (which never happens). This is going to negatively affect my credit record.
