I was working on a Sunday as a cashier when one of my co worker come in and she star insulting me in front off the customers I never felt un comfortable and embarrassed. I been working for Dollar tree for 6 months never had a problem . I'm even scare to go back don't feel save or secure . The manager for the store didn't do anything about it the girl it's still working there like if nothing happen and I'm looking for a job not planning of going back somewhere where u don't feel safe

I was at the dollar tree on Broadway in Cleveland Ohio 44127.. I am pretty sure the managers name is John.. I was in the store and another customer had asked me if they had phone cases I stated if they do they were probably down the aisle with chargers. And employee by the name of Wanda embarrassed me in front of a crowd of customers by stating I don't work there.. and if I'm going to direct customers to direct them into the correct. Aisle in front of at least twelve people I am very upset and distraught over this I shop at Dollar tree on almost a daily basis for all my household needs.. this is enough to make me quit going there.

My name is David Miller. I am the merchandise manager for Dollar Tree on West Markham in Little Rock Arkansas. I am making this complaint to you because your driver is unprofessional is road is vulgar with his mouth and is lazy and its supervisor by the name of Joe Brown does not want to take any action in fact he blatantly says I don't believe that dealing with this driver. I called in a complaint about your driver to a supervisor. Your supervisor called him and he proceeded to lie and say my people weren't doing their job that the belt was full the whole time which it was not in fact he kept stopping every 15 minutes and going to play it on this phone or sitting in the cab then when I said something to him about it he cursed me out 5 times after the first time I told him don't cuss me he did it another 4 he told me f you 3 times called me a [censor] once and called me a favor [censor] MF once I will not tolerate this. And if I am not contacted by someone about this matter with adequate resolution I will seek legal action against said individual and the company which he represents for harrassment.

I shop frequently. A few minutes ago I was finished shopping and noticed only one light on at register 1. Register 4 had people in line also but the line was shorter...None the less I stayed in line at number 1 thinking the other was closed. Then a lady got in that line and they let her through. I went to that line and Marylin abruptly told me it was closed. Hmmm. So I am in line again at #1 when a man wants to bring an expensive looking bike inside for safe keeping when Marylin barks at the man, "NO BIKES IN THE STORE!" She was so rude to him. I wonder if this a woman's liberation experiment. Only women working, and men were treated rudely by a supervisor. Nancy however who was my cashier was wonderful. People should know what to expect when shopping... Hopefully this will make folks aware.

On July 03, 2017 late afternoon, I purchased several pieces of ceramic dinnerware. I soon found out how ridiculous the customer service is at this location. We were informed by the young male cashier (quote) "I'm sorry we do not have anything to wrap these in" (to which I replied) "that's okay, just put them in separate bags" (The reply from him I received was--quote) "I'm not allowed to do that, sorry" (quote) "We ask for customers to bring back the newspaper we use to wrap, but they don't!" Unfortunately, with only one register open a sizable line is forming. I asked if he could at least use one of the empty boxes behind him and he proceeded to stack all the ceramic dishes in that one box. As a prior retail business owner, I would surely want to know how my store was being managed for customer service There are three locations in my area and the other two appear to be managed very differently that this one. I visited and purchased from all three this particular day to get the matching pieces needed. The register must have needed a new tape as well, since the receipt is difficult to decipher, however it appears this store number is #2532. I would like to give kudos to the other two locations (#2071 and #986) Please understand this is for constructive criticism only as I do not wish to create any problem for anyone with their employmnent, however perhaps some management training in customer service, not to mention logical decision making may create a better environment for all concerned. I do know that a "dollar store" doesn't have to compromise in customer service. Thank you for your time.

I was standing last inline, this woman opened her register so i walked over to her side. Next she made a huge scene saying outloud " Sir, he is next not you." Causing a huge scene. This woman is intimidating and rude. On another occasion i was shopping there, i over heard her yelling outloud, "it smelks like a french [censor] in here" her coworkers turned and looked at each other laughing saying" shes crazy" This womans name is Donna, old white caucasian lady. Quite frankly ive worked for this company before, and this is a family environment. So i expect decent people to be employeed here, not an old rude hag making misconductive outbursts infront of shoppers.

Filing a complaint against Employee Lisa Lewis at Galesburg IL Store on Henderson St.
She is domineering to employees and some customers.She has been trying to intimate employees as well as me. (Husband of employee) She has shared personal information about one employee to another.
Most recently made my wife stay past her scheduled time to punch out to cover another employee that did not show up for work. Resulting in plans that was scheduled after her shift.
The night this happened, i called store to talk to my wife and Lisa Lewis answered phone. I did Not say who i was. I just asked to speak with Lisa Schoenbein. ( my wife). She immediately said i will get her out of her soon as i can. I did Not want to speak to Lisa Lewis. But she started in anyway. So i told her how disrespectful she is and it is hard enough to plan or schedule anything when this store dose Not make schedule out no more then 7 days out. Also now that Lisa Lewis is upset with me, she changed my wife schedule This Saturday July 1st from 10 to 2 to 2 30 to 9. She is just trying to get back at me. She also told my wife that Jeff the Manager, was the one that changed schedule. My wife asked Jeff about this and he did not know anything about this. So Lisa Lewis lied about this.
This store is like High School Drama. Other employees have not been treated fairly nor equally.
I feel Lisa Lewis should be made to step down to hourly and striped of authority to do what she presently has been doing. For public relations is not her strong suit.

I am a very long standing loyal customer. This incident occurred on June 30, 2017 at 10:00am. Diston Plaza 3701 49th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710 I came in and seen the store manager yelling at her employee talking very rudely to her. The line was very long only one cashier I asked the manager could she open another register and she looked at me and rudely and said no we cannot as the line of customers is growing. Meanwhile the Manager came to bark out orders Her demeanor was very abrasive and challenging not professional at all. I proceed to ask the manager could she blow up me a few balloons (again with a very negative attitude) she replied I'm going on break. You have to hold on and never helped me she just walked away, Not very professional for a Manager. I feel for the new cashier if this person is teaching her the "ropes" what is more frightening is how does she treat her customers. I never spoke to any of my clients in this manner no matter the situation. I don't make it a habit to try to annoy a person but what bothers me the most is the lack of respect for another person. Hopefully someone will address this issue with her may be provide more training or maybe she is in the wrong field.

On 6/17/17 I bought 6 tablecloths but was charged for 7, I brought them home but didn't use them or open. I forgot about them because we put them in the closet so I went to return them with my receipt and was told that I couldn't get a refund. I could understand if it was opened or perishable but it was neither, management told me that it says on the bottom of the receipt no refunds. Who would check all the way pass survey information to see no refund. I didn't see it posted anywhere in the store, I'm not crying about $6 but it's the principle. My problem is that I was charged for an extra item that I didn't receive or get credit for it. I was told to try back tomorrow and talk to another manager because the one today doesn't handle that. I've been shopping at Dollar Tree for years and no employee has ever said no refund, it needs to be posted. How often do you all do randomly drug test?
I ask because I shop at your store which is located at 2640 Eastern Blvd Montgomery AL 36117 just about everyday because its very convenient for me and my husband. But I was shopping there and I couldn't help but notice that some of your employees had walked past me and I can't say if he or she but one of them smelled like they had been smoking marijuana and they was very loud but a couple weeks ago I smelled that same smelled. But my reason is to you is how can anyone of your employees help out a customers if they are asking for some assistance or asking for their help to reach the top shelf to get an item for them and they are under the influence of drugs thats bad customer service wouldn't you think so?

Shawna was a bit distracted today with a friend who appeared to be on drugs bothering her for another friends phone number. Totally disrupting her work ability. Its bad enough the store seems to have drug addicts working there but its really not right they disrupt a friend who works there to do what appeared to be s drug deal from what i could hear

Was going in to shop your food section went to go check out with a $100 bill and the lady said it looked different. Manager was called over Randy ONLY felt the $100 bill and said it was counterfeit and said he was going to TAKE our $100 bill. I was completely embarrassed and humiliated in front of a full busy store. The $100 bill was from 2006 and it DIDNT FEEL RIGHT TO RANDY THE MANAGER, didn't use the marker just by the feel of his hand. I then when to my bank TD Bank off of N 98 took a video of the bank teller telling us it is real and had the glow light $100 bills do and gave us $20 bills. We went back to the Dollar Tree #168 to speak to the manager Randy and he did not have the time to speak to us as I wanted to show him the video. He said that he catches counterfeit all the time everyday by FEELING the bill with his hands. Raising his voice in front of customers while ringing them up while your customers were telling him that is wrong. He than proceeded to tell us that we could leave the store and contact his manager or corporate office. I will be calling corporate on Monday and I'm writing this complaint.
This is completely unacceptable! The time and gas I wasted on top of the embarrassing and being completely humiliated by a manager that did not know how to do his job properly and I go to the Dollar Tree two to three times a week. I've never seen this manager before and have NEVER been treated like a criminal. I've been in retail for 23 years and this is unacceptable!

My name is Christopher Bondurant former asst manager at the Dollar Tree at 5544 Snell Ave San Jose Ca. I went ro shop at the Milpitas store in McCarthy Ranch. Employee Marlina yelled at me when I looked in backroom for restrooms. Then I asked where they were. She then accused me of trying to syeal pegs. I had ample proq
Duct in my basket. I piccked up pegs from floors and bottom ahelf baskets, to return when making my purchase. She seemed not to believe me and was following me arou d building. So i put pegs back where they were. Then she said you need fo get out of my store.

I am a frequent shopper at Dollar Tree. Today I took my 7 yr old granddaughter with me to the one on Palm Beach Blvd. Fort Myers, Fla. 33905. She needed to go to the bathroom. We told one of the clerks when we came out there was no soap in there to wash your hands. She said "this is only my fifth day". I said "Well, even if it is, surely you realize you need soap to wash your hands "(common sense). I said "can't you get some off the shelf and put it in there"? She says "that would be stealing". I felt like I was on Candid Camera! So another clerk comes up, and I ask her "can you put some soap in the bathroom". She says "The public is not supposed to go in there". So I say "Well, surely you and your co-workers use that bathroom and need to wash your hands". She then replies "I don't use the bathroom". This is ridiculous, and I just walked out shaking my head at this ignorant reply. The commode needed flushed when we walked in and the floor was dirty. Please have someone contact the management at this store and see why in the world they don't have any kind of soap whatever in there. It truly was appalling. Today is 6/29/17.

I've worked for Dollar Tree for a year as an asst. Manager. Since my start all the stores in our district have been short staffed. I wasn't allowed to be full time but was consistently scheduled full time due to shortage of managers and staff. I could never take my paid time off and now that I've given notice and left for a full time job they refuse to pay me my paid time off that I earned but couldn't take due to shortage of staff. Also I haven't been paid for all the bank runs, they are supposed to pay you by adding 5 minutes for each run, which the manager signs off on. We haven't really had a store manager so it wasn't getting done. I'm owed 33 bank runs. Since I quit nobody from corporate will respond to my request. They are an awful company to work for. Unsafe work conditions, low pay, treated badly and majority of the clientele steal or and treat the staff badly for things that aren't even there fault. It's not the managers or staffs fault for the long lines and messy stores. It's corporate, they won't allow more staff or hours. So being a dollar tree manager is getting it from all sides. And then to top it off they won't pay you if they can get away with it.

I go to this location frequently because it's near my home, I was just there yesterday as a matter of fact. Anyway, you used to have some very nice employees that knew customer service and we're very nice and now you have employees that are not nice.
They don't smile they're not kind they don't say hi or anything. I had an experience tonight and ended up putting everything back that I had gotten. I was looking to get some cream of chicken because I was going to make chicken and noodles and I wanted to get some other things but the soups are on the top shelf. I'm like 5 foot tall so I can't really reach the top shelves to see what is in the boxes because the box covers the label.
You know how the soups come in cases in the packs the little boxes are still under them so you can't see the title of what is in there so I was pulling the box back to try to see what kind of soup was in that particular box as she was walking back to the bathroom and she said ma'am please don't break the boxes open which I pull on that one and I pulled a little too far and pulled the Box open but it didn't affect anything and you know I don't know what else to do when I'm 5 foot tall and I can't see what's there I don't know why they need to be in the boxes anyway why don't they take them out of the box. This particular Dollar Tree is the one at 6358 Gender Road Canal Winchester Ohio 43110. I would suggest that you either teach them some proper customer etiquette or get rid of them because they're no good. They're rude. I did not purposely pop The Box open and it didn't affect anything nothing fell she didn't have to reorganize anything and I couldn't reach it so she was just a rude person that like I said I put everything back and I left I will go to Dollar General to get my items. As I am sitting here writing this two of my sister's pulled in to go there and I made sure to tell them about it.

I shop at this location all the time, everytime I go there whenever this one employee is working she seems slow to respond and smells of marijuana, eyes are low, I tried speaking to someone who claimed they was a manager they ignored me. I believe this employee should be fired or at the very least drug tested to confirm what I am telling you.
I was going to write a review, but I hope this can be sorted out in store.

she is Hispanic and is somewhat over weight not that it matters.
she can be rude sometimes and is quite impolite when the manager isn't around.

Every time you try to go into the dollar tree in Valdosta ga by the mall the are at least 6 homeless people sitting in the parking lot or in front of the store today they were blocking the drive fight while the manger was just standing the right beside them smoking the police were called because people where scared even to get out of there car the employees are even scared to come out of the store at night because they sit out by there cars

The new store in inmokalee Naples fl, whats wrong with the air condition? Every time we going oh lord the air condition is off or broken? When I ask the cashiers only said"really maybe is broken I dont know. #2 lines only one cashier and 100 customers on line..its sucks. #3 please its nothing to seat around the stores a bench or seat, Im a older woman and this stores is huge, I loved but please may concern about the those 3 . I use to work at dollartree in milpitas the store was on park victoria. I left for maternity leave and the other day I went to talk to the store manager tanya and asked her if she needed any help because my cousin was looking for a parttime job and she was reliable but tanya said no because she had a full staff already. She said she would contact me if she got an open space and as I was talking with her I noticed her sister valerie came in the office to ask for a box cutter. After she walked out I told tanya I thought you weren't supposed to hire relatives and she said who was I referring to. I said your sister valerie she said to me that girl isn't my sister. I told her I remembered her from when I was working there. She would always come in and visit with tanya and she introduced her as her sister.. Tanya then admitted that she was but asked me not to mention it to no one.. She said that no one else knew and if she was asked she would tell them no.. Because they have different last names.[ because her sister is married ] so she is valerie garcia... I told her she better hope the d. M. Or corp. Don' and t find out cause you can lose your job.. She got an attitude with me because I told her she keeps hiring her family members or close friends and thatwasnt right.. She said who was I referring to and I said natalie rodriguez she said she got fired for stealing and I said yeah I heard natalie got caught by you [tanya] not once but twice and let her still cont. To work here.. She asked me who told me that and I said someone who still works here.. Tanya just said well it doesn't matter cause she isn't working here anymore.. I then told her if she had an opening anytime soon if she could let me know and I wrote my ph. Number down and I noticed when I handed it to her she kinda just tossed it to the side.. I said I would be in contact with her during the week and she just noded her head I felt like she was sort of irritated because of me telling her about her sister and friends she hired.. I said tanya don't worry I aint gonna say nothing. She said oh i'm just trying to figure out who is running there mouths about my business... I just left and as I walked home I thought to myself how has tanya lasted this long as store manager without getting in trouble for anything she does. Because before I left I remember how she would talk to a couple of other employees [curseing at them ] but they wouldn't say anything to her so I figured she knew who she could talk to like that and who not to... And she would come to work and I remember there where times she would just stay in the office alldayand talk on the ph. And be yelling at everyone else to do this and that.. The only time I really would see her out working was if she knew mark the d. M. Or corp. Was coming to our store... I dont think I really want my cousin to work there after all.. There is to much faulty stuff going on.. Dont get me wrong I like tanya she always talk to me when I was working and I never had any problemswith her but as a store manager she doesn't know were to draw the line wen it comes to communicating with some people and taking responsibility for her own actions but when she catches other people doing the exact same thing as her she is quick to tell on them or belittle them to everyone. And she most definitely is not an honest person... I really hope that store gets cleaned up and back on track the way it was before.. " no relatives working together or family friends' and there getting way more hours than people who have been there way longer than them...
