On Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at approximately 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. me and my wife visited the Sulphur, La Dollar Tree located on Cities Service Highway.
Upon entering the store, we were greeted as always to the store but also noticed four (4) employees standing at the one opened register actively complaining about other employees not answering their phones or showing up for their shift.
We spent approximately 45 minutes in the store and could hear employees complaining the entire time in the store.
As we waited in line we watched other customers shake their heads in disbelief at the banter between employees. When it came our turn, I asked the cashier to abstain from talking and handle my order. After a look from one employee who wore an Assistant Manager name tag, I told her how in professional my experience was; others in line were quick to agree.
We love Dollar Tree and know this type of customer experience is not normal.

The dalles dollar tree is a mess every time I come to town I'm from out of town and it's always hard to get around in the store due to boxes every where stuff all over nothing's in its place half the time shelves are rarely ever stocked. The customer service is horrible they don't greet or make someone feel welcome they don't say anything most of the time to the customer only to other employees. This has by far been the worst dollar tree I have been in. Someone's not doing a very good job on training or picking the right people to work in the store. I could help I mean give me a job an let me show it how it should be done in customer service, stocking, cleaning, training and your store will be running like it should be now I'll apply

We went in to the oakdale store today and the cashier was really busy she called for back up 3 times so I walked around the store looking for some back up for her and I found the manager out in back of the store talking with who I assume was his friend by the way they we caring on I told him that the cashier called him like 3 times. He told me that he wasn't a cashier that he was just a manager I told him that the cashier called him 3 times he told me that the 4 time is the charm needles to say no body showed up
ordering an item online
Beyond disgusted. I ordered a product online and when I recieved the email to go to the store to pick it up, they said they had it and then they came back out and said nevermind we cant find it so come back next saturday. So at that point I reached out to customer service and they said they would send a replacement and it would take another 2 weeks! So I called the store to check for my order after the 2 weeks and they still dont have it. When I called customer service once again they now informed me the product I ordered over a month ago is now out of stock! Are you [censor]ing kidding me!?!? Why bother offering the service of ordering things online if you cant fulfill them! I will never buy anything from this company again. Everyone has been so rude and not helpful and all I want is the [censor]ing product I ordered and was promised.

We have shopped at Dollar Tree for years. The manager that is running store #1592 is rude and hasn't a clue what manners is. We have witnessed him frequently being rude to the customers. They are losing customers left and right due to his bad attitude. He got smart with an elderly woman and it made me see red! A manager is a leader. Does he want his employees under him to treat him like that?

I went into the baltimore store #860, 1737 chesaco avenue store on 6/11/2017 at 9.05am.
Looked around for an insulated foam cooler, I found them stocked in front of the store but I couldn't reach behind because the other things in front, I saw a staff stocking items in front and asked for help, she said take it yourself, I told her I couldn't reach it that was why I was asking for help.
She rolled her eyes and reluctantly went to pull one out and left it on top of the boxes instead of handing it over to me.
I had to leave the line to go to the front to pick it up myself.
I was next on line but she asked another customer to come to her register because the other cashier was busy attending to many of us.
I asked the cashier attending to me what the name of the other lady was because I wanted to make an official complaint, I was told that her name is taye,.
The reason I am complaining is because I have always been treated well and the customer service there is so excellent they all go out of there way to help, until yesterday.
Taye, does not have any good customer service, she is rude and has a nasty attitude, very unprofessional behaviour that does not fit the nice and welcoming service that we all are used to.
When I was leaving, the customer behind me said to me to make sure I made an official complaint because she was treated like that too.
Taye needs to be sent for more training on customer service before she drives away all your customers.
The name of the cashier that attended to me is at the bottom of the receipt, she can confirm my story and tell you who the lady is.
the store was dirty, unstocked, unorganized
My very 1st time in a dollar tree and I was seriously disappointed. The store was seriously destroyed, under staffed, unorganized, and overall dirty. I know the store is located in the hood but does it have to look hood? This store needs an entire new staff especially management or be closed down immediately. There is no reason that store should ever look the way it did yesterday when I walked in.

The only reason I want to file a complaint is how an employee of his store can deny access to the bathroom to a 5 year old girl who asked to enter for a physiological reason! It is unacceptable to have an employee who can not have common sense. I hope you can train your employees for a similar situation. This situation happened at the store number 3309 S Bristol St A, Santa Ana, CA 92704 on Saturday 06/10/2017 around 3:45pm and 4:00 pm thank you and fix the problem please.
short changed on cash back
I went to the Dollar Tree in Plant City Florida on us 37 about 6:20 on June 9. My total rang up $4.28. I have the cashier $5.50. My change was only 22 cents. When I asked for the Dollar the cashier said I paid her with 4 ones and 50 cents. After she went on the pa to call for a manager, the manager weighed all the money and determined the drawer was 50 over. I was only given 72 cents change instead of the $1.22. It is not the money I am complaining about but the way the cashier handled the transaction. She kept telling EVERYBODY that I paid her with 4 ones and I know I Have her a five dollar bill. I was also not given a receipt this time also. I didn't get her name but she was the black pregenant cashier.

I visited the San Fernando, CA location just now and it is beyond disgusting. The store is not only in disarray, from a product perspective but it is also completely filthy. The floor is covered in debris, the fixtures are covered in dirt and crust, and the windows have layers of dirt caked on them. I've been to this store a number of times and have watched in steadily decline. In my experience the other locations I've visited, have not been this dirty. This store should be inspected. I've seen roaches roaming here. I am going to contact the Board of Health since there are many people in the community who have come to rely on this store, and the likelihood of someone getting sick at the San Fernando location is not tolerable. The store's standards of presentation and service are a disgrace.

I stopped in my local dollar tree at 9:30 am to have balloons filled from which I purchased the day before at another dollar tree, I told the cashier that I bought them yesterday and that I would like to have them filled, she did not ask if I purchased them at another dollar tree, I assumed I could take the balloons to any dollar tree...she filled them then the manager yells across the store "you can't bring in balloons from another dollar tree, we ain't got enough helium for that", so, I walked over to her to purchase more balloons and told her that I didn't appreciate her being rude yelling across the store and she started yelling at me that "you came at me with an attitude " when I was clearly trying to let her know that I do not know the policy for the store, while I was talking to her she was screaming at me cutting me off while I was trying to speak saying "what else you need? What else you want", I own a business and would never speak to my customers like this, she was also speaking poorly about me to another customer in which I do not appreciate at all, I would like a public apology or she needs to be fired/demoted, you do not speak to your customers like that, it is very unprofessional and uncalled for. She was very, very nasty. She definitely should not be in the position that she is in, had that been my employee, she would have been dismissed on the spot, that's how you lose customers! Also, the cashier was not even aware of the policy, I stated that (before the rude manager interfered) my sister works at a dollar tree and I would have her purchase some and bring them, she said, absolutely, bring them and we will fill them for you. I am sure the cashier caught fire from this manager, she is so very unprofessional. Please realize that she is running your store (new store) into the ground, I along with my colleagues will not use this store until she has been dealt with (I spend thousands of dollars in this store with my business events).

I went into the sky view location in Edmonton Alberta on June 8, 2017 around 1230pm. I bought about 10 mugs so when I went to pay I asked for a box for my mugs and not to mention I am 9 months pregnant and didn't want to haul bags around! Preston was the cashier and he said he doesn't deal with boxes and gave me a lot of attitude. I asked him to find out for me (there was no line up) and he mumbled this is a waste of time and he's not a stock boy but got on his intercom phone and yelled rudely for someone named Jay to "come to the front now"! He said a few times this was a waste of his time and I asked him what his problem was and again he said he's just wasting his time. He told me it's taking too long and we will be here for a while so I told him I can pay while we wait for the box as there was someone behind us and he responded by saying well you are holding up the line (there was one person now) and I responded by saying I told you I can pay right now and he mumbled something so I responded by telling him if he's going to continue to be rude I will be rude too and he told me I was a waste of time! I got very upset at this point but just laughed it off and he continued by saying he can make it so we don't get a box at all and my husband asked him why he is being so rude and he didn't respond. By this time Jay was packing up our cups and actually helping us so I left it alone. I will also mention he was so rude to the man in front of us as well and it didn't seem like he left happy either. I can tell you I have never been treated like this ever by anyone let alone for simply asking for a box! If he continues to work there and I go there again I will leave and go to dollarama! That is unacceptable behaviour and if you employ people like that and let them treat paying customers the way he treated me today and I can probably guarantee many others the same way you will lose a lot of your customers to competitors!

I visited your store #5559 in Killeen Texas. Upon walking into the store the first thing I noticed was all but one of the employees at the front by the first register talking loud and laughing... definitely not working. I continued shopping for about 15 minutes and they continued laughing and talking loud, so I decided to push record on my phone so that they couldn't deny this claim. One of the employees saw my light on my phone then all of a sudden they all started to work and left the front. One employee tried to act like she was doing something so she could see if I recorded them. I continued shopping noticing safety hazards and unstocked merchandise in the store that they could have been putting up. Anyways, I shop for about 15 more minutes then checked out, but upon checking out the manager came up to me and said " were you recording merchandise in our store"I told her " no I was recording merchandise in your store". I truly wasn't recording merchandise I was recording their behavior in a store with customers shopping. She then proceeded to say " she would call the police on me and I would be arrested." I politely walked out of the store and called the corporate office. I used my debit card at checkout just so they would know exactly who was working at that time. The only and I stress the only employee that was working was a young lady named Diamond. She deserves recognition she was nice and helpful. I don't like being threatened to have police called on me and I don't like walking into a loud disorderly store to shop. It was pathetic and disgusting for employees to talk about previous customers the was that they were and to be as loud as they were being on the clock. I called to ask about a product you all sell and was wondering if you had it in stock before I drove 20 min to your store. Judy answered the phone, very rude, she right away placed me on hold and then after I asked if she had the product I'm looking for she said she could not help me bc she was working the register. I asked if there was anyone else working that could help me or if she could place me back on hold until she could look. And VERY rude said no and hung up. I was ok to hold. Now I will go to target or another store and find what I need. Will never be back at your store.
complaint of retaliation by assistant manager
This document is for Human Resources: On or about 6pm of 5/28 I was written up for being outside in front of the location of my employ assisting customers with locked carts and answering questions. Apparently these activities were mis-interpreted as being on the clock not working. Once I'd discovered I'd been written up for violating policy one that everyone working there has;because I've seen them do it. I expressed myself rather openly, momentarily forgetting my surroundings, and was overheard by several people;unbeknownst to me at the time. The following day it was bought to me attention that I had been suspended pending termination and taken off the schedule. That to me feels personal because until that moment it was only a write-up. Not to mention Teonna did not work the night in question so I never addressed her directly about anything she's retaliating against me for speaking ill of her. In this same location I've witnessed associates steal money, drug usage and distribution, favortism, and even an actual fist fight between two associates that are currently still employed at this location. so I was somewhat confused when on 6/5 i was contacted by my store manager and told I was indeed terminated because i violated the companys policy on violence. I totally disagree with this fabrication in a case where someone is clearly abusing their managerial authority to retaliate against an employee for hurting their feelings.
To ensure that these actions are addressed and corrected for my future employment.

About 7:30 pm on june 5th i was in your store in covington kentucky. A woman who was shopping was approached by an older woman with grey hair i didnt get her name. She accused the woman of sticking stuff in her bag. Pretty much emberassing her ans badgering her as well. Was quite rude to the shopper.
Then, as i was in line checking out same employee came to me told me she was goibg to check my bag. People told her i was stickibg stuff inside. First, i do not take anything and second i was paying for my items. She threatened to call the police for absolutely nothing. Two people. In less than 15 mins and she was walking around the store putting stuff away. She was the only other employee working besides the cashier and feel like she was on some kind of power trip. Needless to say she was incorrect both times. Shes generally rude as im in that store daily. She cant just search peoples bags especially purses without seeing or catching them herself. She had been on her phobe talkibg about something illegal. Something needs to be done. Your store there is already a mess. Dirty and disorganized.

I had gone to the dollar tree in st cloud 100 E 13th street the night before to purchase tooth pastes and tooth brushes i had used coupons that night. The next day after my fiance had came home from work we had desides to go because the other dollar trees didnt have the tooth paste that we had purchased that night so we went to the register and the manager wayne had came because the cashier had a problem so he came and seen us again and had said you guys again and fixed the problem then leaned over and whispered in her ear and said ill tell you later i think that is rude of a manager to do that infront of a customer when the customer knows that they are talking about them i used to be a manager at a store so i think that is rude of your manager at that store.
