a rude cashier
I have a complaint about a cashier at store #5118, 16610 archer avenue, jamaica ny 11433. the cashier's name is kritin, she is very rude, and forceful with her attitude, she treats many of her customers with an unprofessional I don't care that your a paying customer nasty attitude, kritin tells you to take your items out of the deals basket, like that is not part of her job, then when you do it, she does not take the basket but rudely, tells you..."put it on the side of the floor!" that does not make since because other customer's can trip the basket being on the floor at end of register! then she does not say thank you! she just hands you the receipt not looking at you! on another occasion she rudely tells a customer that was sent to her line, go back to the other register, the lady tells her that she was sent to her by other cashier, that had a problem on her register, kritin gets an attitude and talks rudely to the customer that did not want to go back to the other cashier, then kritin starts discussing the situation with her current customer, "see I was trying to do a favor, that's why I don't bother! I watched them laugh about it and the lady storm off and go back to cashier that sent her away in the first place! she is very rude and does not know how to treat all customers! why should customer's have to go through this spending their hard earned money! and can't even get a thank you!

She gave away 2 12 roll packages of paper towels for $1.00 each to another employee . When myself and 2 other ladies asked if we could have a bundle she said oh no that was a promotional deal and we are out . I have never seen a deal like this at any store... This was actually theft and the cashier even questioned her and the other employee about the price. The manager told the cashier just to ring him out

I go to store #3528 located at 3925 Durand Ave Racine, Wi. The rude manager of the store Betty allows the lines to get very long with 1 cashier as she walks around and talks on the phone. She very loudly talks about she wants to leave and hates the job. Is very short with the customers and really has a uncomfortable vibe. She should not be in a position as such. On another occasion she was very rude to a co-worker I was em gassed for her. Her demeanor is always the same, rude! I'd hate for a person to lose their job, but she's doesn't deserve hers- unhappy customer😡

The manager Martha is vey rude, wouldn't help with anything. Ask a question about a product she said it should be somewhere down that isle instead of offering to help took out trash. This store seems to take forever getting the product out of boxes. I was in store Friday boxes everywhere. Went in today Sunday and boxes still sitting in same place. I have been to other dollar stores that are great. The one in Seymour REALLY needs help! Run poorly, dirty and products in boxes.

I was refused service.
On 5/19/2017 I went into my local Dollar Tree in Gastonia, NC. I've been shopping at this store since its inception. I picked the items I intended to buy and proceeded to the register. I reached a register and asked the cashier if her line was open she looked toward the back of the store as if to see if she could ring the items up. Someone whom I could only see their eyes looked up and said "yeah she's closed." I responded who are you and proceeded to the line in the back of the store. I was conversing with the person whom accompanied me. The cashier attending the register said "excuse me" in a very rude manner, I responded "I wasn't talking to you". She went on to babble something under her breath. I continued to converse with the person who accompanied me to the store. Again, the cashier said' "excuse me" with a more intense tone and I replied "I'm not talking to you" she kept going with the rude talk so I responded again "I wasn't talking to you so you need to shut your mouth." This cashier told me to leave the store where I shop all the time and in front of about three customers told me to "leave her store" and she refused to ring up my order. The two other cashiers were outside smoking cigarettes by this time. As I was leaving I requested to speak to a general manager the cashier replied I'm the manager. I went on to say no your general manager she said he's not here. Finally I said is there a number I could call to make a complaint to the corporate office she replied "no." I put my items on the counter top and left the store. I went back in to get her name and she was on the phone with the so-called general manager, Jason. I got her name and left the store. My time is valuable and I don't appreciate wasting my time with a rude cashier. I would like this matter addressed immediately. The name of the cashier is Buffy Quinn, 2104 W. Franklin Blvd, Gastonia, NC 28052 and the store is store #6019. This incident occurred at or around 2:20pm on Friday, 5/19/2017.

I visited your store (5723 Preston Hwy in Louisville, KY, one week ago. I called and left a message in a voice mailbox - but never got a reply.
The store I visited was THE single-most FILTHY store I have ever been in - period. Every single aisle and space was littered with trash. The carpet was disgustingly dirty. I am not an OCD fanatic - this store was simply remarkable for its lack of cleanliness. I cannot believe that anyone could ever let their work space (or home, or...anywhere, for that matter) get so dirty.
If I were the superior to the manager in charge, that manager would no longer be working there.

Yesterday on May 17, 2017: I went into the Dollar Tree to purchase 2 Bags of Cheese Doodles and 2 Brushes. When I went to the cashier line the cashier Eric reeked of alcohol. I could tell that he's been drinking, so much so, that Eric rung me up wrong. For the 2 Bags of cheese doodles, Eric the cashier rung me up for 1 Bag of cheese doodles, I paid the e.b.t. for the 2 bags of cheese doodles he rung me up for 3 hairbrushes and I only purchased 2, so Eric called his manager over her name is Rhonda because he realized that he rung me up wrong for 3 hairbrushes and I only purchased 2. Rhonda said that I had to pay $3.21 cents for the rest of the items. I said how? with the e.b.t. I should only be $2.00 for the 2 Bags of cheese doodles and I know that it's .07 cents on the dollar far as tax wise so I should on be paying $2.14 cents for 2 hair brushes and you are suppose to charge me $1.00 for the other bag of cheese doodles. Rhonda the manager yelled out we don't give change in food stamps trying to get a laughter reaction from the other customers then she said that I had a ### attitude which made me really angry. I said to her it's not my fault that your cashier rung me up wrong and she said you are right, I asked what the her supervisor name is she said Shawntae and she said Shawntae or Corporate will not do anything to her and maybe she's right I've been trying to get in touch with corporate since yesterday. I have not gotten a return call or none today. I drove from state to another that's how long I was on hold and never got to talk to a person at all this is so frustrating if someone could call me at [protected]. Thank-You.

I arrive to my local Dollar Tree at or around 10:40A.M. As I was shopping around the dirty clutter of isles I needed to go to the restroom which was locked as always and when I went to cashier to ask for key to use it she said I had to ask store mgr to open it for me, so I asked store mgr as he was receiving bread if he could open the restroom he said he would be there in a minute, so I waited by the restroom for 20 minutes and I went back to front of store and he was on register so again I asked and he stated in a minute, so he continued to take new customers as I stood and waited I could not hold any longer so I left without buying anything and am unhappy that we cannot use restroom as before with other mgrs who would give us a key to open door so we could keep shopping, I always spend between $25 to $50 because I buy cleaners, toothbrushes, bread, and many other things but I sometimes have to use restroom. What is his problem? The employees seem unhappy not there normal happy store, the only change I saw was the mgr. and the filthy store. This store has alot of shoppers but will not be shopping there with this awful mgr. and the awful way it looks, unkept and dirty, when this store in the morning should look ready to go. unhappy customer. Yesterday I went to Dollar Tree in Madison, Al on Madison Blvd. I went to purchase some items because the cashier told me that the items that I was looking for were going to be stocked by then only to get there and they still had nothing. I had to drive 14 minutes to get to the other Dollar Tree in Madison, Al on Highway 72. It was 9:52 when I made it to the parking lot. I got out the car at 9:55 and the door was locked. I knocked on the door until this short African American lady in her 20's at least 190-200lbs medium length dark hair came from the back office. I asked her when she came out what time do the close you said 10. I said why are y'all close then and looked at my phone which said 9:57 then. She looked around like the ###! Then replied "but it's still 10 though while she shrugged her shoulders and then walked away from the door and went back to what she was doing. It said that y'all employees treat us customers like ### and like their nonchalant to everything. I went back to that same exact store hoping to see her and I ran into someone who looked just liked her. I asked the cashier did she closed last night and she said no ma'am but her facial expression told me otherwise because the look she gave me when I walked in the store. I aske the caucasian lady that was beside her what time do they close and she said 10 and I asked do they close early and she hesitated and said some times we close 2 mins until then I explained what happened. I'm just sick of spending my hard earned money at a store when these nonchalant ### cashiers with these attitudes act that give zero ###s about us customers. Y'all need to handle this and find out who close that store 05/17/2017 Dollar Tree at Madison, Al Highway 72 store D and fire their ###. If they did it to me I'm pretty sure they did it to someone else but I'm just the only one that went through with the complaint.

I live in Marshall Mo my name is Melissa. I was taking my niece n nephew to our dollar tree here around 915 it opens at 9. However we didn't get to go in cause an employee was standing outside waiting on her boss to show up. We sat there about 10 mins n left to get some groceries. Came back around 10 and still was not open. I had 2 very upset little ones. I don't know if it ever opened up on Wednesday May 17 2017 cause I them had to head to work. But not good business.. I was hired as part time, I put my availableity in and she did not acknowledge my application at all. She gave me hours and removed them without telling me. She works off clock, before the store opens. When she knows corporate is coming that day, otherwise she does not do her job. She doesn't train the employees. She's very rude. She treats her employees like garbage, and it's not fair! I work my butt off and get treated like crap. I put in my two weeks on April 30th because I could not handle her anymore. I feel that she should no longer work there or get demoted. Our store looks empty and this is why. For being in the position she is in, she is very rude to our customers. We get complaints all the time. I know this could be a better store if upper management would take the time to address these issues.

I recently visited the above referenced store. I am hoping this email reaches the right parties due to the severity of this complaint.
My mother and I visited this store on Mother's day (5/14/2017) and we were met with a horrible surprise. Not only were the staff extremely rude to us, the store was severely un-kept. Upon entry to this business, we noticed the shelves were not stocked and merchandise was spread all over the floor. The floor itself was extremely dirty as well.
This was our 2nd visit to this store and we were surprised to see it was worse than before. My mother and I ended up leaving due to the shelves not being stocked and not being able to find the products we were looking for.
I lived in Atlanta, GA and was visiting Alabama at the time. I shop at Dollar Tree on a consistent basis in Atlanta and this came as a complete shock to me that this location was completely filthy and UN-kept. This is not the Dollar Tree store that I usually patron.
I have attached a few pictures to show what we witnessed at this store. I pray that someone takes the time to look into my complaint and rectify the situation at this location. I honestly believe if this continues, this Dollar Tree location will not last very long.

I went to store # 3211 in Austin Tx today 5/14/17. It was a disaster and disgusting. Looks like the floors have not been vacuumed in months, just pile or trasg and dirt on top of the floor. The aisles and products were thrown around the store. Nothing was put up, it looled completely trashed. Went to the toy aisle, the balls looked used. Like someone took them home then brought them back. They had holes, pen marks, and most popped and deflated. There was no order to the store. It was complete chaos and disgusting. Filth and dirt everywhere on the items, shelfs and floors. I got to otger Dollar trees all the time and have never seen a store such a mess and disappointed. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Bought what i needed for my sons project and left.

Having just left your store located in el cajon ca on 2nd street, I more than like not be returning because of the cashier didn't get name but she's very short dark medium black hair appears to be around 40+.Was waiting on line at the one register when announced I'll help next person in line at register 3 me being next i stepped over there then a young black maLe stepped In front of me and stated he was next she then said oh I was helping her to which his mom came pushing her way up front and I was told she's first hmm swear she said next person which the cashier replied oh I was helping her I'm just amazed at the disrespect shown .as I was leaving after waiting patiently your cashier said oh I guess some people are in, a rush I asked who she was referring to and she stated if the shoe fits wear it. I have been shopping here for several yrs but will not be back anytime soon

I visit the Dollar Tree store in Duncanville, Texas quite often. Today(5/13/17) @ 6:47pm the store was busy . A lady named Keegan whose name badge said management refused to open another register while there was literally 22 people in line. I walked out without purchasing my items. She was so very unprofessional. I will NOT be returning to any your stores. I will spend the extra money to be treated courteously. I am employed by a local newspaper and will be making my experience today public knowledge.

Hi, I visit your dollar tree regularly and most of your staff is very rude and unprofessional. I was in line to pay when one lady walked in for balloons. This incident took place on Friday may 12, 2017 at approximately 8:15pm. The cashier instead of professionally letting the lady know that she needs to pick out the balloons of her choice and get in line to pay she started yelling that she is having a bad day and if anyone bothers her will get slapped by her. Although there were 5 staff members present nobody said anything and only one cashier was working. This store is always busy but there is always only one cashier working. This place is unorganized and unsupervised. Customers are treated with disrespect and soon this location will loose business.
It's Dollar Tree company policy to only have 1 cashier per shift most of the time. Unless its a stocking day they usually only work 1 cashier + 1 manager.

My name is Sarah and I visited the Dollar Tree store in Bryan on Wildflower Dr. on 5/12/2017. I bought items for the agency that I work for, and lost the receipt (Without a receipt, I cannot be refunded for the purchase). I was able to contact the store, and within minutes, Mardry (the store manager) was able to contact me and provide a replacement receipt. She was so helpful, kind, and responsive to what I needed. I would like her boss to know that she is an exceptional employee, and I appreciate her service.

Today I went to dollar store in Battleground Washington to purchase 2 balloons. After paying I stood at the balloon area for 8 mins. The cashier that rang me up paged one time "associate to balloon counter." Then a few minutes later, she apologized and paged again. A few more minutes went by and this gal came storming up saying she do it this time but she's doing inventory. I told her the balloon numbers, she filled them without EVER saying one word to me. No apology, not a damn word. Even when she handed me the balloons not a "have a good day." Nothing, I go to that store because it's close, I spend a lot of money there each week. This is the first time I've seen this gal, and the last. I thought customer service is very important. Guess not! Her name is Star, I know nothing will happen. I will no longer be shopping at ANY of your dollar store locations any longer.

Good evening me & my family are consistent customers at the 1720 location store 06153 it seem like every time we are there this manager named renee is never being professional... When a cashier ask for help/assitance she takes her time to help them... She never responds back on time to them she always have a nasty attitude towards the customers & her associates... One time she held the lines up for about 10 minutes to get change for the cashier.. She never has anything positive to say when she is asked about an certain item... Just the other day one of the young ladies asked her to come assist her with a very long line she took her time to come help the young lady had to page her 3 times to come to an regsiter its just crazy very unprofessional infront of the customers... There was one day I wanted to purchase an item I told her the line was very long can she open an register she told me its not her problem and continued to walk away... This young lady never seem to be in a up right mood to deal with customers.. She always just standing around with an attitude towards not only the workers but the cashiers as well.. There was an incident with her and another customer in front of me and she totally disrepected the young man tossed his items gave him attitude all because he asked her to open an register because he had to get back to work she's completely out of control and terrible she making this store and the company look very bad as well
