September 14, approximately 3pm, cashier Mellisa yelled at me, publically humiliated me, threw my items into the bag, was rude, could not use the cash register, could not process a credit card transaction, psychoanalytic, unprofessional, psychotic behavior, should be arrested for blatant harassment of customers. Management is horrible. Broken glass in parking lot. Half eaten, opened bags of food throughout store. Sad, pathetic, inhumane store. What manager would hire such a mean, foul mouthed person? I would recommend driving to either the dollar tree store on East Sheridan in Dania Beach, driving to the location on Federal Hwy in Hollywood, driving to the location on East Dania Beach Blvd or even the location behind I Hop at Hallandale Beach Blvd and 95.

My 2 children and I were shopping at your store like we normally do about two times a week a female cashier with black hair tattoos on her forearm and lots of makeup was on register with no costumers we set our stuff and she asked us to move it becuase she was going to help customers in a different line. She then began talking about me to a trainee. I asked her it she was referring to me and she very rudely told me that no one was talking to me. I then asked her to change her attitude and she just got more rude. So I left my $20 worth of merchandise and walked out of the store and even then she kept saying stuff. Rude female with no education and zero customer service. I usually go in the AM and the other girls already know me and never have they been rude to me I really think u guys need to approach this matter no one should be disrespected in front of their children.

Today I visited your store located at 1010 Helen Power Dr. Vacaville, CA. 95687. It was approximately 12:15pm. I got in the line located on the far left if you were facing the store. I was 3rd in line. After I got in the line that Jordan was running he left the register to blow up a balloon. He was having a terrible time trying to get it to work. I stood there for 5 minutes while he fought with the machine. Meanwhile the girl at the register next to his, Lizeth, kept looking back at him and looking at his line building up. Two female also came out of the office during this time and saw he was struggling with it. Neither of them attempted to help him even though he was standing 5 feet from them both. I did not say anything during this time period although I was getting frustrated as were the others in the line with me watching this. By the time he got back to the register he had 8 people in his line. He handed the customer the balloon and then she announced that she wanted another one. He proceeded to head back over to the balloon when I stopped him and asked if he could have one of the other workers do that for him (since both of the 2 girls were still standing there.) He did not get a chance to reply when one of the two females, whom I later discovered her name was Brittany inquired as to what the problem seemed to be. I explained to her the situation. She replied curtly, "What do you want me to do? Open another register?" I can not express appropriately in an email the tone she took in that statement. The best I can do is say that to myself and the two people I spoke to about it after the fact felt that she said it like she was being bothered and she might as well have said, "What the hell would you like me to do about it." The gentleman from my register proceeded to blow up balloons and the people in the back of my line jumped over to Lizeth's line. Brittney opened another register on the other side of Lizeth. She looked over at the back of Lizeth's line and said, " Can I help the next person in line?"
At this point I walked over to her line and asked her name as I did not see a name tag. She replied that she was Brittnay and she is the store manager. As I walked back to my line, Lizeth said, "What is your name?" Lizeth must have found that comical because she was laughing.
I just can't get over the flat out inappropriate remark by Lizeth, whom should have been attending to her long line instead of going out of her way to antagonize me. Then the inability of the manager to recognize that there was a problem at all and behave in a matter that befits a manager position. She was also unable to make a decision on her own, without asking me, that would help alleviate the inconvenience to all of her customers.

On September 13th I stopped in the dollar tree at 171 county line road in littleton co. I was in the checkout lane knowing I was going to need to ask cashier if someone could help me get 3 furniture polishes down from top shelf. While waiting in line, the employee doing balloons called out "does anyone else need balloons". No one came forward. I stepped out of my line to ask her since there were no balloon customers if she could help me. She obliged reluctantly. I paid for my things before she returned with polish. Clerk ran up 3 polishes. Balloon employee named BRENDA returned with 2 cans very rudely stating that's all that was on top shelf. I said ok, may I get a dollar back. She informed me with horrible rudeness, downright filthy looks and VERY apparent anger that dollar tree doesn't give refunds and I'm not getting anything from her! The nice cashier then said to me "mam, I'll give you exchange but you'll need to get back in line". I left as one dollar was not worth another minute in this store. Iam a senior citizen and a kind person. I in no way deserved the appalling attitude BRENDA treated me with. This employee was angry from the second I stepped out of line to ask for her help. Another "kind" woman had come to get balloons after I asked for Brenda's help and she stated she did not mind waiting while Brenda helped me. I hope this employee will be dealt with accordingly. She does NOT belong in a job with the PUBLIC.

I went to the location next to Burlington in Amherst Ny 1501 unit 8 location off Niagara Falls blvd.. there were no signs up of the registers not taking credit cards ... I went to this location on my limited lunch break to pick up Much needed items I had a cart FULL of items I put them on the register and had my card out... no one informed me of anything until it was time to pay and the manager (short blonde hair older women cane up to me .. shrugged her shoulders and say oh well there's signs up cash only. The African American cashier woman just laughed in my face ... I said well what I'm I supposed to do? The manager didn't apologize or show any remorse she just said nothing cash only and shrugged her shoulders again. This was not only a waste of my time but the rude ingnorance of this manager and her employee was just ludicrous. I was furious. And i walked out. This was at 1:30 pm on September 13th!

I visited the dollar tree on Tuesday and explained to cashier that I only had $12 on my card, can I use 2 different cards?
She had informed me that she had it all set go ahead and swipe card. Then she said most have been more them $12 because it all went through. I explained to her that she had just caused a $33 charge. She apologized and had manager come up, s assistant manager said she wasn't sure what to do, so I asked when store manager would be in. She said Wednesday at 1. I called Wednesday at 113 and was giving a phone number to call from assistant manager, store manager to busy to take care of me.
So I called back today to ask if the manager might know how long it takes to get my refund. He said he wasn't sure, I told him that I needed that money back in my account before I get more charges, and he told me I wasn't getting any money from his store and I'm the one that approved the amount. I explained to him that the cashier told me to push yes even after I questioned the fact that it said $28.36. He then hung up on me.
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever recieved from anyone at any dollar tree. Let alone a store manager being that unprofessional and lack of customer service.

I went to your store in Oakhurst, ca. in Madera county. It was about 1pm On Sept 9 2018. There was one checker available. Where was everyone else. The store was packed. I went to pick one item up and by the time I got there it was about 20 to 25 standing in line. whats up with that. You just lost a customer and money because of this. been in there many times and it seems it gets worst. How come you store runs out of bags. Something is wrong there. It is called management. I am going to also contact Madera County Health Dept. because the store is so dirty unfit for people to go in. You can not walk in unless you step over crap that are on the floor or in the isles blocking. The bathrooms are gross. At least when I go to Vons or other stores I have no problem. I feel dirty when I walk out at this store. My next step will be calling the media. People should know not to got to dollar tree store expecially in Oakhurst, ca. Unbelievable. taking my money else where.

I actually love Dollar tree but i am HIGHLY UPSET that this company is continuing to sell Defective Headphones that either come with a shortage or end up with a shortage within 1 to 2 days of use. Of course, they are Dollar tree headphones and are meant to be cheap, but to me this is a RIP OFF. I have purchased over 5, they are all defective. This company is making money off of headphones that are not durable and do not work properly. This is unfair. This hardware issue either needs to be fixed, or take the product off the shelf!

They say the customer who takes the time to contact the company actually represents up to 10000 people who do not take the time, but they just quit whatever they dislike and this would be shopping at Dollar tree. So I am taking the time to let you know so you can correct it. I have to agree the 99c only store is far better than your stores, including Family Dollar. The only reason I keep on is I love the mgrs. at 3900 E Grant, Tucson az. 85712. I am 81 years old, disabled; and I live in this neighborhood therefore on Sunday after church I go in to get some items .Here is the rub. The store has a mere 3 carts left and they are so old and worn out. . One is not in good shape. I have gone into other dollar stores and they voice the same complaints, altho thier problems are not exactly the same.
Believe me it is not your managers that are at fault, it is for sure the corporate that is at fault. Nor is it the overworked district mgr.
Then there is the inconvienence of dollar tree not having large bags, for big items and it is a rough one, for I have to get to the car. Having four small bags with things too large for the bags is not good. One large bag is better than four small ones.
The parking is a nightmare. It does not accomodate people with disabilities.
The [censored]'t mgr was cleaning the floors today as they were dirty but cleaner than usual and also the three carts are " gummy dirty" too. On one the wheels are so gummed up it is hard to push it. How can the carts get this dirty if they never get out?. There lies the problem, they do get out, for the asst manager found one of the three carts in alley behind the store. Theft is at an all time high and you need to hire a security guard. I watch this bad bunch of homeless like kids steal almost every time I go into the store. Everyone is alarmed by it.
As a result I go to t he 99c only store as much as I can. There is a huge difference in the pride that their corporation has. I would like to suggest you take heed and make an effort on these issues. I would call but there is no way to get you. . Again that is not the case with the 99c store. I also go to Family Dollar which is pretty well run, and seems to have better response than you have. I know you own both.
If they still do undercover boss, sign up and come and see this for yourself. Bring your wife too, she would sure be apt to agree, that this is a disgrace. Women really see through situations better than men. Sorry but true. Time to care a little about your employees and your customers.

The manager named lisa was very rude to my daughter as my daughter said excuse me while trying to get past her, lisa processed to tell my daughter, no you gotta wait a minute, after shopping we went to check out 1 cashier checking customers out because lisa was outside smoking now and there was 6 customers in line waiting. Very rude and disrespectful needs to be retrained or replaced woth someone who knows their customer service, i will no longer shop in this store. I will be telling friends and family as well. Ill just give dollar general my buisness, nicer employees there.

Linden NJ Store#3098 has the worst and rudest Dollar Tree staff I have ever experienced in the Tri-State area! Their latest floor manager, Dave is very condescending and non empathicly trained to be considered a "supervisor" representing the Dollar Tree corporation. I believe he is only displaying these behaviors due to the fact he is fully knowledgable that the customers have NO WAY TO GIVE DIRECT FEEDBACK TOWARDS AND ENDEAVOR PERTAINING TO THE STORE! This store was extremely unkept, stocked by one young lady, another youg lady was in the front at the register, the atmosphere of the building held a strange odor, utilizing no fresh ventilation or air conditioning. The stale stench of probably growing mold & mildew from the leaking ceiling when it rains hard in this building. There are plenty of your stores around literally I passed 4 of them before stopping here. I doubt I would waste another DOLLAR, nor my time at this location.

This cashier is rude and extremely disrespectful, people in prison have more respect than this individual! She needs to redo her customer service training . It is unfortunate that I have to result to this, this is the 5th time she never asks me if I need a bag, instead of handing me my change she threw it at me like I was trash. I was forced to have to pick it up from the ground out of embarrassment I left it there I stood up and told her you need to stop being like that towards me you don't even know me . You are disrespectful towards me Everytime I'm in here.you should check your cameras to verify what is saying. I will take my buissness elsewhere rather than allow myself to be disrespected, this incident took place in front of a manager you guys obviously condone that type of behavior because nothing was done. If you filled in your application in the same manner you wrote this complaint, then I can see why they would be hesitant to hire you. Attention to even the simplest of "details" (spelling, capitalization, punctuation) While these may not be needed to work at the Dollar Tree, it does show a lack of care when it comes to work. As for slagging off the store, that really will not get you far when it comes to hiring.

Wednesday September 5th, 2018 me and my friend Alicia were sitting in the parking lot of Eldon Missouri's dollar tree waiting for a friend so we could go in and buy some things, when two of the employees who I assume were about to clock in names Jamie Dingle and Christina Martin. they decided to attack my friend Alicia who was in the passenger seat of my car through her window. I told Jamie to get away from my car and she backed off but Christina Martin decided to continue so I got out of my vehicle and held her against my car to make her stop. The manager that was working that night around 5pm told me and my friend that we are banned and I believe that is wrong considering we had done nothing to anyone. Me and Christina have a history but I had not seen her in a long time nor talked to her so she had no right doing what she did. I filed charges against Christina and if I have to I will get a lawyers help on being able to shop in my towns Dollar Tree. I attached a picture of what my neck looks like from Christina Martin choking me!

ok so i went to store 00111 in columbus ms on monday september 3 2018 and there were 2 associates arguing one was on register 1 she was so rude to the other associate i think her name was kiesha im not sure and the other associate was on register 3 i believe and i believe her name started with a d but this little girl took it better than i would have. the little girl on register 1 needs her attitude checked and she definately does not to work with the public with a nasty mouth like that. someone needs to get rid of that girl cause she could be like that with a customer or another associate

Although I really like shopping at your stores, there are several locations that really could use a thorough cleaning. I have complained about this location before. These photos were taken today. The floors were covered with merchandise. I'm sure why the Manager feels this is acceptable or even a District Manager. They obviously don't care how this looks.

09-04-2018 : this is mr. Eric john piecul a daily customer (for the last 2 years) @ the store # 1084... On 09-02-2018 at approximately 9:03 a.M. I witness your manager jesse chase away a customer telling all other customers', that specific customer, has shop lifted (stealing) at this dollar tree... My concern at this dollar tree is a safe environment, I have mentioned to jesse the audio (the security monitor that is mounted on the ceiling, at the entrance) is off, in fact, since I started shopping at this dollar tree I cannot recall ever it on... My point to upper management, customers like me feel more comfortable in a shopping environment when all security measures are on, regardless of other customers and their actions, it is important to have a safe secured environment for customers to shop, of any possibilities of all customers at this dollar tree... Safe and secured environment is important for customer shopping... Please turn on the security monitor... Thank you.
