unable to fix air conditioning to ford everest cy 297633.
Ford Everest XLT 2015 was at Barloworld Ford 3 times (10, 12 and 15 Oct2018)unable to fix air conditioning.
They referred me to Auto Connoisseur in Goodwood who located 2 leaks in the system. I was however shocked with the working conditions and are scared to leave my vehicle there.
Would you kindly refer me to an expert in the Cape Town area who can fix this professionally

2016 ford mustang
My 2016 Ford Mustang is back at the dealer for the 3rd fix of the AC!
This issue started last year and has continued to be a problem. I've had to leave it for 2-3 days to be fixed.
I'm told today by the service writer my car is just over the 3 year warranty and I have to pay a 100.00 deductible. Why?
This is clearly an issue with bad parts /original parts and I do not feel I should have to pay anything for this repeated problem.

Under Magnomus Moss Warranty Act of 1975 Ford has not proved these modifications, that Ford sold me and warranted through their dealer network, caused the internally lubricated ring pinion bearing and seal failures. All Ford has proven is it allowed water inside an external hose. The lack of a valve connection from the axle to the hose is what caused the water to enter my rear axle. This mechanical faure is due to a poor axle vent design, that consists of a rubber hose connected to a platic open nipple not a vent or valve on the axle of a 15, 200 lbs gcvwr truck configuration. This design seems to be in favor of the dealer network who spent more time trying to sale me a new ford than they did trying to honor fords warranty.
This is my last attempt to get ford to honor their warranty before i contract a consumer protection attorney, file my grievance with the consumer protection agency, as well as upload this faulty design on YouTube.
2013 ford escape
My last car was a Ford Escape. My present car is a Ford Escape. Our RV is a Ford. My husband drives a 2017 ford 150.
My 2013 Escape has been serviced by ford on a regular basis. The only mistake I made was getting my 2013 at car max. I still think my ford loyalty should stand. I live in Oregon. Engine blew in Reno. Warranty idiots sent THREE engines. Two worthless one incompatible. So Ford says let me handle it. Nice nice man Don Reithmayer at Ford, he has been great BUT he has put in TWO engines. Both bad. My car has been in Reno since July. Can you please offer me a better deal then a third engine? Seriously help me. You phone complaints department can't.
What can you do for me. ?

2016 ford explorer platinum
I'm writing today to exclaim my complete concern and disgust regarding my current vehicle. I purchased a brand new 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum August 2016. It only has 29, 700 miles. I'm now aware the the cars battery and all 4 tires are in marginal condition and in need of replacement before winter strikes here in WI. The tires are rated for 50, 000 miles, I'm only 60% on usage. They've been rotated every 5-7, 000 miles by my mechanic. The battery has had problems for quite some time. I was planning to trade in this vehicle next year and get in to a brand new 2019 Explorer Platinum, but this has me concerned about the quality of the vehicle you've manufactured.
Will Ford stand behind the battery? Will Ford offer a proration credit of loss for my tires, as they are bad with nearly what should be 40% life left?
I paid over $50, 000 for this vehicle, and I'm regretting it now.
How will Ford help?
Please contact me at [protected] or [protected]@gmail.com.
Sincerely,
Noel A. Dedrick
The details, VIN are listed in the photo I've taken. This picture is a portion of my invoice I received yesterday from my mechanic. I sure hope to hear from someone soon.
2016 explorer serpentine belt issue
We recently had the serpentine belt on our 2016 Explorer (which only has 31, 000 miles on it) break and cut through the A/C line causing the power steering and A/C to fail while driving on I-696. We were not able to get it into a Ford dealership and were told by Royal Oak Ford they couldn't take it for 2 weeks. Instead we took it to our local car shop since we need the use of our vehicle and they are in the process of repairing the belt, a/c line and recharging the a/c which is costing us $1, 000. This was very concerning considering the vehicle is only 2 years old and has only 31, 000 miles on it. It has caused us to lose confidence in this model and also to lose confidence in the dealerships ability to handle issues like this in a reasonable amount of time. We also own a Ford Focus which has a recall on the transmission and were never contacted about getting it repaired. When we heard about the recall and took it in to Avis Ford initially we were told there was a delay in getting the parts and they were backordered and it would be several months before they expected to get the necessary part to do the repair. I am losing faith in Ford and at this point not likely to buy another Ford. I would appreciate a call from someone to let us know if there is currently a recall on the 2016 Ford Explorer regarding the serpentine belt and what our options are at this point for resolution on the Focus.
2015 ford fusion 1.5l turbocharged
Bought my 2015 Ford Fusion (80k miles) less then a year ago and have already spent more in repairs than in car payments. Got my car serviced from a Ford dealership and since then my car has been hit major issues. The newest issue is needing a new water pump that will cost me over $800 in just labor! Worst thing is no mechanic has the right tools because it's such a newer car so I have to take it to the Ford dealership.
Thanks Ford!
faulty vehicle sold to me
In 2014, I purchased a Ford Ecosport 1ltr from Fury Ford in Amanzimtoti.
The mileage on the vehicle was not even 20000 km & the engine blew.Fortunately, it was still under warranty & the engine was replaced.
Under two months ago, the vehicle was serviced at Kempster Ford in Durban & now the catalytic converter needs replacing at a cost in excess of R13000.
I am aware that inspection of the exhaust system is on the service checklist, so I approached the service manager to enquire why this was not picked up during the service & I was told that a sight view is just conducted during the service.
As this vehicle is just out of warranty, I am now faced with this huge unexpected bill ( bearing in mind I just spent R4000 for the service) & I am just being shrugged off .
As I was so upset about this vehicle with so many problems from the outset, I went to see the service Manager & told him that I am so sick of problems with this vehicle & just want to get rid of it.
He recommended that I had two options:
1) I can trade it in for another vehicle on their floor.
2)They can purchase it from me & I can seek one elsewhere.
He then requested a valuation to be done, which was R130000.
As I was not keen on any of the vehicles on their floor, I opted for them to purchase it from me.
By this time, based on the fact that I had a buy out option, I negotiated a purchase of another vehicle only to find out that they no longer want to buy out my vehicle .
I am now stuck between a rock & hard place & am totally irritated & will never, ever recommend Ford to any of my friends & family members.
I feel that the converter problem should have been diagnosed during the service & that, when the engine was replaced in 2016, maybe the hanging parts should have also been inspected as we all know that one problem on a vehicle can damage other components around it.
Please, I need your assistance as I bought this vehicle for my retirement & am now faced with all this expense in my retirement.😫😥😡
2016 ford fusion se 1.5 loses power and loss of break control off and on
I have a history with ford, I am Complaining because my dealer insist that I drive this unsafe vehicle just because my problems can't be duplicated when I bring it in. I feel unsafe I have multiple witnesses and my dealer still can't figure out the problem. I am hurt and stressed by the emotional pain they have been causing me not only not having a full functional vehicle that is not safe. I feel like I could harm others or my self when driving due to the functions of loss acceleration and breaks it comes and goes it's not constant which scares me. I took my car in to ford before and same thing can't identify codes or diagnose problem. So I took my vehicle home and shortly after maybe a week or less problem got worse now I'm losing power I hear a weird sound, also lost break control once and car jumps in reverse and in S Mode which I used no more than 4 times. S mode is making the car feel like it's flying it's self in gear very hard jerk feeling. Dealers service people are very rude and seems to not care for my life at least the man I spoke to made me feel like I'm not important and not much he can do. My boyfriend witnessed this mans ignorance as a service rep I'm concerns are not a joke and I am a customer who just wants to know what to do cause obviously my local ford can't do much with what they keep telling me and I don't feel valued at all with the way the service representatives treat me so I feel belittled and laughed at for how I'm scared for my life. I'm emotionally a wreck right now and plan to contact my local Consumers office to talk about arbitration help. I just need more resources or help on what to do if I have no warranty left and I purchased extended warranty just because I complained about this problem when I still had dealer warranty "bumper to bumper" but they could not figure out issue than. Now I'm feeling hopeless. I am also original first owner did not buy my car used. I live in Hawaii and Hilo Ford has been nothing but rude to me. I never speak mean to them I try to explain my issues calmly always but they talk over me or walk away when I'm speaking to them also make jokes that are not funny because these complaints I'm making is not a joke it's my life and my family's life. I also was told by a non mechanic worker that just takes notes for the techs that the problems I'm coming in for could never do that impossible he said. I just feel mentally abused and feeling like I won't have a car due to unprofessional employees that I thought I could trust. I'm losing hope please help me or guide me to the proper resolution thank you for your time.
OH... POOR BABY! Your Feeling are Hurt, and you have mental anguish over a piece of machinery? Get some therapy, to get some sort of Backbone... Then go get another car if you feel so unsafe.
door recall poor service
10/09/2018 10:33 am Ford F150 xlt recall 17s33. This all stated Monday of last week when Quicklane discovered a tire pressure fault so I walked across to service and showed Kevin C. Osborn the problem and the recall notice that I have been keeping in my truck for when I could have that taken care of. I was told by Kevin that he is short on crew and that another day of the week would work better, otherwise he would have to have the truck overnight. I have only one vehicle.
I made an appointment (I thought) for the date and time mentioned above. I was told he needed the truck all day and that they would not provide their shuttle service because I had my 12 eek old puppy and my 10 year old dog with me. To shorten this complaint some one come and get us.
pm the truck was not rready they needed to keep it overnight ! I request a loaner car and was given the number for Enterprise Car rental. Who I called and gave my information to them. They never showed to pick me up and never called!
I sit here now after two calls to Kevin and had to leave a message. I have a 10:30 am doctors appointment and no information as to rectify my problems. I will try to impose on a friend ( I guess for a ride to the doctors). Still waiting
2018 ford explorer sport
Have several of problems since I pulled it off the lot ...it's a brand new vehicle!i I've reached out to the dealership several times .. and every time they fix an issue, They make another issue. I Have reached out to your executive offices and regional manager Stacy Butler which I waited for her to call me Friday Oct 5th 2018 which I was told she would call me back and never heard anything, then Monday came and still nothing so when the afternoon came I called her !go figure so now I see it runs from the top all the way down to the dealerships with the respect factor so your executive offices tell me that she's going to call me Friday so I wait all day Friday no answer all weekend obviously she doesn't work on the weekends and then Monday morning I hear nothing afternoon I finally called her and then I get a response and the issue is still not resolved. This dealership has been nothing but disrespectful to me rude, ignorant and incompetent and I stated that to Stacy Butler and now she's telling me I have no choice but to go back to this dealership and have them fix the problem ... I have reached out to other dealerships and they want nothing to do with it they will not do secondhand work from another dealership .How in the world does this happen? How was it that no one at your dealership or your home office or this Ford company cares ?I have been up to the dealership and put on 600 miles on my car traveling back-and-forth wasting gas, wear and tear on my truck everyone from your manager to your salesman to your service manager to your service writers are so unprofessional I have pictures, Texts and phone calls to prove it. It's funny I put down 22, 000.00 on this so called Car that I have always wanted and I might as well walked out my front door and just throw the money in the street so this is what you think about your customers ? This is how you treat your customers ?I get it Once you get my money and I signed a contract that's how it goes nobody contact [censored] nobody gets back to you I'm believable ... I am disgusted with everything everybody at your dealership and everything is happened to me and I will let EVERYONE ! Know about it ...Thanks Ford Company for ripping me off!
2018 ford escort st
Dear Ford,
We recently purchased a new Ford Escort for our son. Sales and local service has treated us professionally. However, the alignment of the hatch is incorrect, and is causing paint to be chipped away as the hatch rubs and or bounces on the body. Because the hatch cannot be aligned, the only option is for "reforming, " which means bending or grinding down part of the hatch/body and then repainting. Personally, I feel Ford should provide us a new car with a properly aligned hatch, and sell the car that is being "reformed" as a used car on one of the local lots. What do you think?

2018 ford expedition platinum
Our Expedition broke down last week. Powertrain failure. We had it towed to Varsity Ford. The vehicle had no alarms when it got there. They have tried to get it to act up and have no resolution. My wife's handicapped and need a RELIABLE VEHICLE. We are not comfortable taking delivery and breaking down and can't get her out of the car as it say the alarm can cause a fire. We are very loyal Ford consumers. We would like to get out of the lease so we can go get a new vehicle. We pay over $1000 a month and don't trust or feel safe in it. I am pretty sure this is falling on deaf ears, but let the CEO drive this vehicle. It has had a vibration pretty much since we got it and was told that because its a big vehicle the tires get flat spots after sitting. This condition has continually gotten worse.
2016 ford focus
Why on earth would I need a new battery when the car isn't even 2 years old? And I did NOT leave anything on! It has 10, 500 miles on it and already the battery is shot--and it isn't even winter! I had to call Roadside Assistance for a dead battery that was in my garage the day it way 70 degrees outside. Unbelievable. I do not want over half that electronic junk they have on cars these days. Start taking that crap off.
I am not happy with Ford.
lack of response to farm bureau rebate offer.
Sirs/Madam,
On 6 July I purchased a 2018 F-150 pickup VIN 1FTEX1EB5JDK24861. At that time my trade in/ discount was listed as $17, 000. All well and good, a month later Florida Farm Bureau posted a $500 rebate on new Ford pickups. Inquiries at the dealership, Hub City Ford, Crestview FL went unheralded or told I had been given the maxim discount. My trade in a 2016 Nissan Frontier has been listed as a $23, 000 price tag at the same dealer ship. I do feel as though I should be awarded the rebate by Farm Bureau. The F-150 is fine, no complaints thank you.

f150 lariat crew cab
I have a 2011 F150 lariat crew cab with 41, 000 original miles it's only used to pull my bass boat very occasionally! It's showroom condition and I've had numerous issues with it as you can look up my vin# 1FTFW1ET2BFB64089 now my rear tailgate camera has quit working and I'm not happy especially when one of your dealerships said it would be $800 to fix it! I'm retired and on a fixed small income and can't afford to spend that to fix it! I really feel that Ford should pay for this to be replaced! Please consider this for me! Thx Joey Beach
recall on door latches
Hello,
June of 2017 I turned in my 2011 Ford Fiesta to be serviced for new door latches because there was a recall I received a call about. Everything has been working just fine until recently. My front door will not lock and that caused some sensors to act up on my car.
I took my car in for this issue and I was told because a year past there is no longer a warranty on my latch. Since there was a recall on latches and I took it back in to be services by Ford, how is it after a year the latch is not working again. In my eyes nothing was fixed. What if I was driving an my front door opened while in motion? There is a safe issue with these latches and I shouldn't have to pay for this. Please advise on what next steps to take. Thank you.
peeling on my 2002 ford taurus
We brought our car brand new. Peeling on roof and Hood but Ford would not help me out. Don't have enough money for a warranty. Car is now looking terrible not like the nice car we once had. Paid good money for it. They want at least 350.00 for just hood. Now peeling on roof . So mad. My husband always got fords. You know they did wrong. Using lead paint. Anything I can do about this other than going to lawyer. I don't have that kind of money. Albina Born

sub standard material; rusted rocker panels on both sides
Have been a Ford owner for my entire life, however, this incident is not acceptable, my 2013 Ford 150 with 34, 000 miles, never driven in the winter and stored inside. noticed bubbling on the rear of the cab, took it to my body shop and was informed that both panels were rusted through. had to have both replaced to the tune of $600. this should never have happened. it appears that the steel used was not first class material. Please respond.

2014 ford mustang
Dear Sir or Madam,
I own a 2014 Ford Mustang (V6). I bought this dream car 4 years ago and it has less than 41, 000.00 miles on it. I have wanted a Mustang for the last 38 years or so.
Now I have a big problem. Ever since June of this year, my fuel gauge is malfunctioning. It corrected itself for a few weeks but now I am to the point where, when I have less than a quarter tank of gas and I fill up it will only allow me to put in $18.00 worth.
The gauge resets itself twice a day but then the miles to empty rattle off until it tells me 0 miles to empty and the display shows only dots. I researched this and it seems to be a fairly common problem. In that case, I suggest a recall on the whole fuel tank assembly (incl. but not limited to the sender unit). I would really like this fixed. Getting another vehicle is not an option because, like I said, this is my dream car.
Regards,
Gudrun Aderhold
