KIA Motors Telluride paint job

I have paint chips over my 2020 Kia Telluride of less than a year. The dealership said it must have been rocks. Sadly I look online at this forum to find Kia putting what sounds like the same thing off on sand trucks. Guess what, no snow in Texas . So I have a flagship car with spots.

Complained up to corporate. No response.
Im ready to just trade out.😡

KIA Motors Unauthorized work done

On the 7th of July I sent my vehicle in to KIA wonderwaters for a service and problem on my vehicle. The very same day I was notified that there is a problem with the turbo and a claim was submitted (MS-532442-C). The days following the 7th my vehicle was stripped, photos was taken, apparently a video was made of the noise and a report was sent to M-SURE with a quotation of what is was going to cost to repair. Days later I received a call form Angelique the service adviser to inform me that the vehicle was assembled and that Wonderwaters is waiting for M-sure to authorize the claim in order for them to order the parts. A promises was given that in order for me to get my vehicle back I need to pay for the strip and assemble and will be reimbursed when Wonderwaters are paid by M-sure. Not being very happy with the fact that I need to make a plan for R5000 to collect my vehicle I wrote a mail to M-Sure's complaint department asking them about this matter. I was then informed that M-sure did not gave authorization to strip the vehicle and sent me a actual recording of the conversation.

I phoned and went to see the manager at Wonderwaters (Bossie), who then assured me that they would never work on a vehicle without authorization and would ask Angelique the service advise to get her documents in order and sent me a E-mail so that we have this on record. I then ask legal advise from a lawyer and the ombudsman and cc Mr Bossie and Mrs Angelique of Wonderwaters in that mail.

Mrs Angeliques replied with an E-mail that said that she have phoned me on 10th of July and informed me that M-sure is not going to pay for the strip and assembly and that I gave her the go ahead with the stripping on my vehicle and gave them authorization to work 6hours of labor on my account. The lawyer then ask for any kind of proof to link me to this of witch they could not provide any. I know why nothing could be provided... there isn't any, I never heard from Angeliques telling me that M-sure is not paying the strip and assemble, I never agreed that I will pay for the strip and I never ever mention that I will pay for 6 hours labor and don not even ask what it would cost. Do you think I will go and speak with the manager at Wonderwaters, write a mail to M-sure management then M-sure's complaints department, ask legal advice from a lawyer and start a process with ombudsman, write a Hallo Peter review if I was the one who authorized this?

KIA Motors Maintenance / electrical / fuse box / unethical behavior

We were driving in angeles city on june 29, 2020 when the emergency lights went out and so did the right and left turn signal also went out. So we immediately went to kia motors at lgc automotive service building roxas ave. Clark pampanga philippines - where we purchase our kia picanto vehicle on 2018 sale & service kia clark the adviser said it was the fuse box where the problem was - so I said ok, and check out the car which
Kevin sison the service adviser felt 100% that the problem was there in the fuse box. So they move the car to the service bay. After 30 minutes or so - I needed my reading glasses and I went to get them from my car and I saw they had taken the fuse box off - the main dash board and even the mp3- android 6.0 on board entertainment center. Why did they not try to change the blown-out fuses first and then check out the whole fuse box.
They didn't even use a sophisticated diagnostic machine - they only used an electrical tester. Even if I would have taken the car at the exact 10, 000 miles-they still would not have been able to determine the future even of my emergency and turn signal going out - because it happened at 10,370 after the initial 10,000 miles. Before this happened I had purchased 2 front fog lights a rear backing camera and mp3 android 6.0 entertainment center - all were installed at the kia sale office - same place I had my 5,000 miles maintenance done. Previously I had trouble with the rear camera falling off and also going out which was many times - kevin sison recommended for me to disconnect the positive post from my buttery and then reconnect to reboot the camera which I have done many times is this standard practice for a customer to do that_ I ask you. Also when I turn on the ignition the radio comes on by itself and they said this is normal because it is an android and I find this odd they showed me how to turn off it off - but every time I turn the ignition on the radio still turns on by itself.
When I had the first 5,000 miles maintenance - I had fully synthetic oil put in and the manager said I was good up to 12,000 miles for the next visit - as you see I only had 10,370 miles. Enclosed you will find my maintenance schedule that came with my kia picanto 2018 car. Also enclosed our copies of my fog lights I purchased and had installed the mp3 android 6.0 at the time I was willing to pay for the replacement of the fuses and for the work to installed. But instead kevin sison tryed to make it seem that it was all my fault and that did not set well with me. When they were finish with their so - called inspection of the problem kevin sison said he took pictures and had sent the information to customer service and that within one week or two they and I would receive an answer from them. After two weeks nothing happened - so I gave them an extra 2 more weeks to see what would happen and still with no emergency lights or turn signals and still no phone calls or not even a text-as you can see their attitude is they dont care - they are all talk with no specific results.
I talked to lourdes dela fuente - manager about it and that I would be contacting kia manufacturing corp. Complaint dept. On kevin sison and his technician reuben for not having the decency to notify a faithful customer of kia. We submit this letter for kia corporation to reply in good faith to our truthful complaint.

KIA Motors Kia sorento 2014 brake lights and headlights

Hello this is my 2 nd official complaint with kia motors regarding brake lights and head lights I have a 2014 kia sorento and since I bought it I have made numerous complaints to the dealer and one other with kia regarding how i've almost been in several accidents due to burnt out brake light and front headlights I have spent lots of money constantly replacing headlights and brake lights I would like to know if anything bis going to be done on this if not so I may contact my bank and let them know the lemon problem that had almost gotten me and my family killed duebto no brake lights please contact me asap at

KIA Motors poor KIA service and not standing behind their vehicles.

I bought a pre-owned 2013 Sportage with less that 70k miles. My son was driving when the engine died on the highway. He had to abandon the vehicle and run to the roadside, thankfully he was able to make it safely. The vehicle was towed to a repair shop. The mechanic said that the engine was destroyed, oil leaking and rod punched a hole in the engine block. I researched and found that numerous KIA's owners have had similar experiences. I called KIA at [protected], they advised that my vin# was not included in a recall even though many other KIA's with the same engine made the same year were. Kia was very mater-of-fact in the way they responded. They pretty much said "sorry we cant help, your on you own". This is the worst treatment I have ever experienced with a vehicle manufacture.

I would never recommend that anyone buy a KIA, there service and response to their vehicle problems is extremely poor. Please add me to the law suite

KIA Motors Kia Soul EV

This is an Electric Kia Soul. I drove the car into the garage. Put it in park and turned the car off. I normally put the parking brake on. I opened the charging door but did not plug it in immediately. I took groceries into the house and returned for more. As I walked back into the garage it looked like the car lurched backward. It moved 2 feet back and would have hit the garage door if it was closed. Maybe it rolled and then caught itself and looked like it lurched backward. The garage is a nearly level concrete surface. I got back in the car. It was in park. I turned on the car to move it forward but before I did, I checked to see if the parking brake was on. It was not. I may have forgotten to place it on when I pulled into the garage. I could not recall exactly but I always put the parking brake on every time I park the car. This was scary because it rolled/lurched at least 2 feet backward. I did not see any error/alert lights that there was a problem. I have owned the car almost 2 years and purchased a certified pre-owned car from an authorized Kia Dealer with an extended warranty.

KIA Motors have not responded to request for lien release for a vehicle that was paid off two years ago

I am very irritated to say the least. I have purchased three Kia vehicles of the past several years and have used Kia Finances for the last two at least. On January 10th, 2020, my wife was crossing an intersection here in Minneeapolis, MN and was struck by a delivery truck that ran a red light. While my wife was only slighty injured, the Kia was totalled. The other insurance company admitted that they were 100% at fault and are willing to pay for the car. When presented with a copy of the title they resonded that it indicated that there was still a lien on the vehicle. We contacted Kia Finances and requested the lien release and were told that it would be sent to us. After several phone calls, over the past 5 weeks and being told that the release had been mailed it is yet to appear. I will most certainly not use Kia Finances again and may not ever purchase a Kia again.
I am once more requesting a lien release for our 2012 Kia Rio. I can be contacted via cell phone [protected]

KIA Motors Kia sportage 2018 ten (10) times same failure

This vehicle has been serviced ten (10) times to date to address the same problem, which is affecting the vehicle's safe and correct operation. The following describes the general performance issues:
- All dashboard indicator lights switch on.
- The motor switches to security mode, limiting its power to below 100%.
- The automatic gearbox becomes locked.
- The following stop working: speedometer, tachometer and temperature sensor.
the fault has presented itself a total of ten (10) times, and also taking into account that the vehicle has remained a total of 80 days in the shop while it has been inspected and supposedly repaired
I demand a definite solution to this situation. I feel I can no longer trust the vehicle with my safety and that of my family.

On February 21 2020 at 11pm I had a wreck. I was driving 70mph cruise was set coming over a hill on HWY 62 Oklahoma. A truck was either stopped or traveling at a very low speed. I had no reaction time to break. The entire front of my car was smashed in and the airbags did not deploy. I wanted to inform you of this default and I would like to settle this out of court. I feel I should be compensated due to the fact that in this situation or any other situation I could have lost my life. KIA Motors Suspect dishonest workers

Problems / Complaint as below :

Dated : 2/3/2020

1. Around 9.15 a.m - My car PME 6266 delivered to Kia JNS Sungai Pinang Service centre, Penang, Malaysia for further inspection on RPM, Brake & Air-Cond System problems.

2. Around 3.00 p.m - Car was ready to collect by myself, then I realised that 1 of my Window Car Sun Shades Protection was missing.

3. I had logged this matter to Service Adviser immediately.

4. They said will feed back by phone call after checking.

Date : 3/3/2020

1. Time around 9.05 a.m - I called up to the Service Center to follow up due to no respond at all.

2. Over the telephone conversation, they informed me have found it and I said I will drop by to collect it.

3. When they returned me the Car Sun Shade, unexpectedly it was old, damaged with torn condition which was not belongs to me (seem like just simply get a damaged Car Sun Shade return to me).

4. I have rejected it and ask the Service Adviser, is my Car Sun Shade had been exchanged with other people one?

5. The Service Adviser had further checked with their team and replied is "No". He said that's my only car with this type of car sun shades for that service day. He even wants to compensate me.

6. For me, I felt very "Bad & Sad" as I suspect there is some dishonest attitude happened although the Window Car Sun Shade is not a high value product.

7. Each time when it is time for car servicing I will just leave my car to the centre. So now the trust and doubts when changing my car spare parts.

But the "Brand Image of The Kia & Company" will be affected badly to the market and customer.
So far, the Service Adviser has provided good service and handled all my car problems very well. He has done his own duty and responsibility and very professional way to handle it, but it seems inside people there have dishonest attitude person who will badly effect the customer confidence level on after Sales Service.

7. Hope Kia Company & Management can look into this matter seriously.

KIA Motors The sensors/engine

On Febury 25th, my car started knocking. I was on a very busey highway in Atlanta GA, during rush hour. When i got to a place i could feel safe, i pulled over. to my suprise, I had no oil. The lid was on, NO sensors where on, car not running hot. I was due a oil change, but there should of been oil in my car. (I am in a dispute with the company that changed my oil as well.) So took my car to the dealer ship, my engine is tost! $ 7, 000.00 would put a new engine in my car. I don't have that money. So know no car, and i have to take a hit on my credit to get new car.
I feel that i shouldn't have to go through all this, the sensors did not go off!

KIA Motors Back door

I had an exident on 28 december 2019, now already end february. Still dont have any feedback. When I come to sc they said need to wait parts arrive. What the hell almost 2 month for nothing. How this happen? I need an immediate action for this or not I will write an email to kpdkk about this! My insurance claim already approved since january. Why I never hear any feedback! KIA Motors 2013 kia optima hybrid

On Feb 12th, My vehicle lost power while traveling alone on the highway at almost midnight. I called and had the vehicle towed to my local Kia dealership where they informed me that it was engine failure. I would need a whole new engine. They told me also that the engine was included in a recall for that year and model. They requested to have the motor replaced and was denied by Kia. I called consumer affairs and was pretty much laughed at because the Hybrid models were not included in the recall even thou they have the same motor. I was told later they didn't include the hybrid because not enough were produced to include in the recall. The dealership has verified the issue with my vehicle is the exact same issue as with the ones that have been include in the recall. they have found metal shavings in the motor oil. Carriage Kia of Woodstock Ga has also said they would share all the info concerning my vehicle with whom ever it takes to get my motor replace.
I want my motor replaced by Kia. and I want this model to be included in the recall . I have taken great care of my Kia : having repairs and maintenance done by Kia on time, everytime.

KIA Motors Your tv advertisement

The girls doing the KIA advertisement on TV that I receive in Naples, Fl should be taken off the air. Caroline has been doing this job for a long time. They added a young Latino girl who dresses inappropriately, to say the least. Have her call me and I'll tell her what she looks like.
Caroline's clothing is not suitable for her size. She looks like she ready to do the weekly laundry.
I am so focused on their appearance that I do not hear their spill!
