This past Sunday, June 6, 2021. I went into the Lowes location as Sams Crossing in Columbia, SC. They have taken out all of the kiosks and replaced them with self-serve. If I wanted to work at Lowes, I would apply for a job their. I don't wnat to have to figure out if something rung up correctly at the same time trying to bag the item too.

Flooring Bait and Switch at Lowe's
Reference: Flooring purchase from Lowe's Store 540 Middletown New York 10941
On April 27, 2021 I purchased and ordered approximately 2300 Square feet of flooring for $6, 619.58 dollars from the Lowe's Middletown, New York Store #540. The product was suppose to be an engineered "multi-ply" "plywood core" "click lock" product, as specified by the product description and represented by the physical sample I had obtained from the store, which is actually a 5-ply, plywood core product.
On May 11 at 8:00 PM six pallets containing 104 boxes were delivered to my home. When I went to have the product installed I discovered that the product "DID NOT" match what I had purchased and was in fact a High Density Fiber board (HDF) core with microscopic veneers. (A completely different product.)
I have attempted to work through the Lowe's store manager Mr. Anthony Gries to have the wrong product picked up from my home and the purchase refunded.
I have met with the store Manager and ASM in person, sent several letters and emails to Store Manage Anthony Gries, ASM Mellissa Regina, President and CEO Marvin Ellison and Synchrony Bank, but as of June 7, 2021, 22 days later I do not have a resolution to this situation. I can't even get the courtesy of a response from anyone.
No Phone calls, No Emails, No letters.
Complete Silence.

Garden soil
Why is it that Lowes in Plattsburgh NY shows all of the less expensive bagged garden soils as
"unavailable", but it has all of the more expensive ones in stock?
And they list stores 60 miles away as having the less expensive in stock.
Seems strange to me.

Refrigerator
Your Brenham TX store they do not answer the phone in Appliances, Purchased refrigerator the delivery people damaged it. Took me 3 days several trips to the store, they could not find invoice, I had to purchase another refrigerator schedule that for delivery and pick up the 1st damaged one. They delivered the new one. Someone else was to pick up damaged one Saturday, the guy on the truck decided to cancel pick up. Several phone calls people said they scheduled pick up. No one showed up. Had to reschedule again. Your service in this store is horrible. I will not be backand have had better service at HOMEDEPOT.

I ordered a product which was the wrong item... Having problems for my credit
I ordered a item which was incorrect item. I double checked before I ordered online to make sure it was the correct item. Well it wasn't. It isn't easy to return the incorrect item to lowe's on a online purchase. There customer care service [protected] is totally useless, you are put hold... They never answer... I tried 4 times to call... But, again put on hold.
Im not impressed with lowe"s... I need to resolve this issue and get my money back and send it back to lowe's.

Fraud AND Deciet
I brought a New Refrigerator and stove on 03/07/2021 from Lowe's for $4, 369.98. The Refrigerator is defective (bottom door is defective and full of frozen ice). This has been going on since 03/9/2021. I call for help on getting this Refrigerator fix without any success. We keep getting the run around without any success. I was refused to use the customer bathroom by the cleaning man (as he was using his cell phone and not cleaning.) the stalls were cleaned. On Friday June 4, 2021 at around 8:30 am. I went in and he told me no I can not use bathroom so I went back out and purchase my materials, then went back in and went into the first stall he followed me into the stall and but his body against the door so I could not closed stall door (no social distancing was happening either). I was by the toilet and he but his right arm behind my back and keep saying no no I told him to get the F out of here and move he pushed me out of the stall. I left and ran into visiting supervisor (Mike) who approached the cleaning man and got him out of the rest room then I went into to use bathroom. Mike got me the name of the cleaning man name and it is Fermin Penna. I talked with Mike and said I will call and talk to store manager about this assault on me when I get to work and make a formal complaint. I called Chris Piccolic and stated I want to make a formal complaint his response was he has to call corporate That the cleaning man is not a employee of Lowe's. I am livid about this assault for just using a bathroom with 5 stalls as the cleaning man blocks off the whole bathroom for customers use! so he can text on his cell phone.

I Purchased a Husky chainsaw from Lowe's on 5-29-21 for $317.99. Order stated it was enroute and being shipped. FedEx driver arrived at home on 6-4-21 on Ring doorbell camera with only a receipt inside of a bag and no chainsaw? He left receipt and no product. Item was never placed on our doorstep or delivered to home. I went to my local Lowe's store and showed them the video of the FedEx driver dropping on a receipt off and no package and they said there was nothing they could do about me paying for an item and it never being delivered. I Would like this chainsaw reshipped and in hand ASAP as this is unacceptable. Thank you.

I purchased a LG dishwasher from Lowes. I also got installation. They came and installed dishwasher. All went well, until 11/2 year later the dishwasher stopped working. I called for repair and when they installed the dishwasher they were to screw into cabinets, they did not screw it and the screws were lose. It made the door close and chipped apiece of plastic, making the dishwasher thinking the door was open. Lowes could care less, they reply was install is only good for a year. Never again. Fence
So tried calling first to get this issue resolved but the people I talk to are just 9-5 workers who not in the food chain.. so order a fence from Lowe's and to have them put it up for me . Lowes rep comes out and look at backyard told them what I wanted 6900ish ok not a problem . He sends me the contract 1. I must pay all upfront and 2 to Cant sue lowes. Think that's kind of funny but ok. So lowes don't even do the work they basically sell it to the lowest bidder. Lowes drops off all the material for the fence 2 days in advance don't matter if you have nowhere to put it. Truck comes up guy drops it all on grass. Now you are responsible for it with no drop off inventory and 2 days of rain With the fact someone can steal something . 2 days later guy comes out who is actually putting up the fence and says yea we can't do it the way you wanted and there will be gaps under parts of your fence due to slopes. That wouldn't been a problem If the lowes worker would of told me this when he came out and survived the land instead of just trying to sell me a contract. I could of went another route . A lot more to story but long story short save yourself a headache cut out lowes who is just the middle man hire a top professional, yes might cost you 2k more but well worth it. Side not writing this review I been on hold for 21 mins trying to file a complaint.
James Hardie factory painted siding
Contracted with Lowes to Install James Hardie Factory Painted Siding. Met Contractor and was told he had done many Hardie Installs. Met at House with Lowes Sales Person, Contractor review options and ideas, and what couldn't or not advisable. He returned latter to measure. Worked with Sales Person using Hardie Brochures, decisions made Contract Signed. Original Contractor not able to do, Lowes tells me they have a Contractor who has similar Hardie experience. Contractor arrives, language issue, only person somewhat fluent in English was the Crews Gofer, knew a hammer but not much more. First day they measure house and inventory material, everything a go. The sales person is now the project manager! Confusion on what is to be done! Zone manager out with store manager, "we've had a bad start where here to make you happy." a week latter zone manager arrives and tells me issue with doing the roof eves soffits, Hardie is too heavy to nail. Checked with Hardie rep and was told it could have been done. What they did was a cruder version and cheaper. Corner trim pieces weren't ordered, will net to get local and paint. A week latter zone manager out and now told not enough lap boards. In the end the order was short almost 25% of the right material. It was supposed to be factory painted. Caulking was color matched to siding with a 15 year warranty, it required proper application which didn't happen, no warranty in fact it will turn white, siding is brown. Paint & caulking was applied to vinyl window frames, now they must be painted. Trimming that was on house prior wasn't replaced. The next to last day of work was told that gutters and electrical lights and outlets would not be reinstalled. The gutters had been damage upon removal and several electrical boxes had been broken. Had gone for a 2 year interest free loan, big mistake. Contract required a particular arbitration that you can't recoup legal fee's if successful. And they prohibit any class action suits. Went to small claims court with a $10,000 limits, damages were close to double this. Lowes was allowed to have their attorney as I proceed with my evidence and having it discarded as "hear say". As I read thru customer reviews, I see an arrogance that was much more prevalent than I could have imagined. "Where is 60 minutes?"

I have always believed that Small Claims Courts didn't allow Legal Representation.

My washer and dryer was to be delivered today from 8am till 12 pm. Never came. ndAfter 7pm was able to get online an pull up order an they had changed time to5pm to 9pm. Needless tosay never showed up. Said was delayed. I had worked 3 shift last night and stayed up waiting. Had to work tonight also. Where is order? Called Lowes and got a number to call about the delivery, but didn't get an answer.
Craftsman Lawnmower
I purchased a Craftsman lawnmower (Model # 11A-A2T2793) from Lowe's. It worked ONE time! I put oil prior to use and emptied the lawnmower of gas after but the Carburetor went out anyway. Turns out that the carburetor was not covered under the warranty. It was an expensive one-time use disposable lawnmower. Lowe's is refusing to take it back.
