Lowe's Customer Service

Hello,
I am a local contractor in Hillsboro Missouri. I frequently make purchases for materials and supplies at various home improvement stores. I have noticed more and more that employees at Lowes are quite unfriendly and rude and unhelpful. Do you have any training program in place to educate your employees on helping and addressing customer questions? My last visit was probably my final visit. I was searching for a particular product in the flooring materials. I was up and down the same isles several times and was getting frustrated as I noticed employees chit chatting and completely ignoring me. Needless to say i left the store and purchased what i needed at a friendly store 1/2 miles from Lowes known as The Home Depot. They appreciate their customers and are ALWAYS helpful! Lowes could learn a lot from them.

Lowe's One year old samsung oven broke no helpp offered except a 1-866 number

Just over a year ago I purchased $6000 worth of new appliances from lowes Bloomsburg PA just recently the range I purchased from them a Samsung started acting up wouldn't stay on /wouldn't turn off (A fire hazard!) when I contacted the store I bought they quickly directed me and gave me a 1-866 number which turned out to be Samsung which also did not for me so Now im stuck with a $900 faulty range that neither Lowes or Samsung feel responsible for, they were quick to take my money but after that customer service wasn't part of the deal after the sale so beware of this. I made the mistake of not buying the $300+ dollar extended warranty but after spending $900 for a high end range I didn't expect it to be broken after 1 year.

Desired outcome: replace , repair or renburse me for the cost of repair.

Lowe's several orders over the past 2 week

Online Order #1 two cases of tiles and as the associate from South Stafford, VA Lowes put them in my car, he said they are broken but I will make note of it. Make note of it - what does that mean? Nothing! So essentially I brought home broken tiles!

Online Order #2

10 minutes after I placed this online order (set up for truck delivery) someone from the South Stafford, VA Store called and told me he had everything in stock except for one toilet and asked if I would like him to hold the order, find a toilet from another store, then deliver everything at once. Of course my response was yes.

But following that conversation I received several email updates on delivery date changes. Unsure of the problem because they had said they were only waiting on one toilet, I called the store to speak to a manager. The first call to the store, the service desk told me the manager was in a meeting so I needed to callback. Really, what ever happened to let me take your name and number and have the manager call you? The second call after waiting for some time I finally reached the manager. He and I spoke about a missing item holding up the delivery (now a shower door) and agreed that I would come in that day to select a door the store had in stock and replace the one on back order so they could deliver everything in 2 days. He gave me two names of people in the Department to speak to (One name if I came before 3 and the other name if I came after 3).

When I came into the store (after 3) I could not find anyone in that department to help. I couldn't find a manager either so I stopped an associate in the plant department who initially was very reluctant to get involved. But after listening to my dilemma she told me that they guy in that Department was new and couldn't help me anyway.

So after 30 mins or she figured out how to refund the one ordered, charge me for the new shower door, and confirmed delivery.

Delivery was made - incident free. Despite having to go into the store to select another shower door - though he probably could have done this over the phone.

Online Order #3 . This was an order for two 12x12 tiles and two island lights for pick up at Carl D Silver PKWAY Fredericksburg, VA. When I received notification to pick up my order I went into the store on a Sunday morning. Though the notification said the order was in, when I got to the store one of the Island lights was missing. I asked to speak to a manager, but Customer Service could never find one. When I asked what I needed to do about my missing light, I was told I needed to wait until Monday and call the 800 number.

Already upset about traveling down to the store for nothing - as I was going out the door with the partial order I was rudely stopped at the checkout by a sales associate to ensure I didn't steal the items in my cart. I was the only person they asked in the checkout line. So what do I look like a criminal?

When I called the 800 number that following Monday (despite about a 15 min wait to get through) the representative refunded me for the light that I didn't receive and placed a new order for the same light saying it would arrive in 5 days. Great news right? Well no! After I received a call to come pick up my order, they again can't find the light. After going through the story this afternoon with two young associates at customer service, they could have cared less. I asked to speak to a manager and I am left there waiting………. tired of waiting I try again to explain the associate at the Customer Service Desk and he pulls out a light and says here it is. WRONG LIGHT! Are you kidding me? They shipped the wrong light. So the customer service associate refunds my order and on the drive home I have to call the 800 number AGAIN, and explain AGAIN. The island light is now on order AGAIN. The customer service reps tells me "the price you were charged is wrong but I asked the manager to give it to you at the original price." I tell her NO it is not wrong. Lowes has two lights with the same exact description online: one listed for 138.52 (Item 1411946 Model ILSL25BNK) and one listed for 199.99 (Item 2462801 Model ILS25BNK). Funny I know the merchandise better that Lowes.

She ordered another light for delivery to my home as I refuse to EVER step foot in the Carl D Silver PKWAY Fredericksburg, VA store again. The associates are rude and the manager's cannot be bothered with customers.

Online Order #4 This order was delivered on 15 March. When they arrived they were missing one item. The delivery people tell me they don't know and I have to call the store. When I call the store it rings off the hook and disconnects. I tried several times without any resolution but yet I have a missing item for $299.52. So AGAIN I have to call the 800 number for some assistance. After again another 10-15 min wait I finally reach a customer service rep. She tells me she is going to file an incident report and someone is going to call me right back. After an hour or two no call from anyone so I AGAIN call the 800 number. The rep tells me "no they have until noon to respond so I need to wait for the call". Noon come and goes…so I call the 800 number AGAIN and this rep says "no they have until close of the day to call you so you need to wait for the call. No one called at all. So the next day (today) I call the 800 number AGAIN. I believe she called the store herself and told me a Manager named Brian would be calling me. He called and said the item was at the store and they would deliver it tomorrow (3/18).

Are you kidding me - does all the above sound like Lowes is doing well with customer service or product fulfillment? I have a garage full of Lowes merchandise and I feel like loading my vehicles and returning everything and going to Home Depot!

To provide an update to Online Order #4: the truck never came to deliver my item as promised by the Store Manager (Brian) who called me yesterday. When I tried to call the store:

- Using the option for deliveries it rings and rings then disconnects
- Using the option for customer service it rings and rings then disconnects

I am now on hold with the 800 Customer Service number AGAIN waiting to find out what happened to my delivery scheduled for today. Lowes continues to DISAPPOINT.

Desired outcome: The item missing from my order to be delivered as they promised and BETTER SERVICE FOR ALL CUSTOMERS

Lowe's Lowe's In-Store Credit

Dear Sir/Madam,

I tried to redeem the credit on this card to no avail because my driver's license did not match. Unfortunately, employee of mine whose whereabouts are unknown purchased from Lowe's Torrington but they will not redeem the credit on this card. I have no idea where this former employee is but I feel I am entitled to utilize this credit. I do not need the money back, I would be happy with a credit that I can use. The local Lowe's refuses to let me use the credit. I am hoping you can resolve this issue, up to this point I switched from Home Depot for a number of years and have been purchasing a lot of materials, etc. from Lowe's as soon as they opened several years ago. Please expedite this so I can continue to be a Lowe's customer.

Lowe's Lowe's Rebate Center- Scam

Bought a Samsung 4 appliance suite 2/15/20. Submitted my rebate 2/20/20 for all four appliances were eligible. By June my rebate was still "processing" so I contacted the rebate center to find out the status. I was told due to the pandemic, all rebates submitted prior to March had not/would not be received until at least July to begin processing and that I should re-submit my rebate. I resubmitted my rebate again in July and received nothing by October. I checked the status online and my rebate was marked as "non-compliant" due to my "sales receipt did not indicate a qualifying purchase". Really? I purchased these appliances at Lowe's instead of Home Depot specifically because of the rebate offered on Samsung appliances as both stores offered them for the same price. All 4 of my appliances qualified for the purchase and I have the original promotional flyer that included all of my serial numbers. My sales associate walked me through the steps of submitting the rebate and suggested that I make a copy of my original sales receipt right away before the ink faded. Again, I contacted the rebate center again and was told my "original sales receipt was unacceptable" and that I "should have gotten a different receipt at the time my appliances were delivered". I was told to contact the store where I purchased the appliances to get the additional info needed. I called my store and of course they had no clue what the rebate center was referring to. They researched my purchases and gave me the my delivery dates but advised me my original sales receipt would have all the info the rebate center needed processing and that they DO NOT give customers a different receipts at the time of delivery- you just sign for them. I contacted Lowe's Rebate Center with my findings. THIS TIME, I was told " My purchase did not qualify for the rebate because I used my Lowe's credit card which already gave me a 5% discount. I told the rebate center that I had not received the 5% discount because at checkout I was offered special financing- interest free for 12 months OR 5% and I chose the special financing. The rebate center argued with me that this could not be possible because the Lowe's store didn't have the ability to offer me either or. Really, MY ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT CLEARLY SHOWS THAT I DID NOT RECIEVE A 5% DISCOUNT! I was given 3 different lies about why my rebate was not fulfilled. I believe Lowe's Rebates are a scams to so that the company can take sales from their competitors. I will never make another large purchase from Lowe's again.

Lowe's Since 2/28 waiting for refund on protection plan

I canceled my order as Lowes screwed up on delivery. I was refunded everything but protection plans. Told me my problem and boy it turned to be. I have been trying since 2/22/2021 to get my money. I was charged $99.97 + tax = $107 .95 for the washer. I was charged by mistake twice for the dryer 2 x $99.97 + tax = 215.90. On 2/28 I got an message saying $107.95 was being sent for the washer and a 2nd check of $21.56 for the dryer. WRONG. I called and talked to a Marino and he told me the $21.56 would be canceled and a new check for $215.90 would be sent. DIDN'T HAPPEN! I was sent the $21.56 along with the check for $107.95 . I spent all afternoon trying to get this fixed. HANGUPS, WAITING FOR EVER TO GET AN ANSWER, TOLD A SUPERVISOR WOULD CALL BACK IN AN HOUR DIDN'T HAPPEN . In the meantime I tried again and she got her supervisor working on it immediately and kept checking in to make sure I was ok. While she was trying to help the 1st supervisor called back (not 1 hour but almost 2 hours) and supposebly 1 of the 2 checks was sent yesterday 3/4/2021 and the mistaken one will be sent out next. I am to destroy the $21.56 and I will once I get all my money.
I have spent to many days and hours waiting trying to get this mess fixed. Never again. Waited to long on the phone trying to get someone to answer in the store, to many times I had to call back, to many calls to protection plan dept waiting on the phone and to many times I had to call back.
Disappointed, stressed and frustrated so it will never happen again

Lowe's My Lowes Card-replacement card Request

All I have is a state issued Disability license plate. So, don't expect any Lowes employee to come out to the parking lot to see my DAV tag. I doesn't work That way, any way.
SEPT 2020 i submitted documentation Proving my DVA/VA eligibility. I got a new ph and number in DEC, called Lowes HQ to update. The customer service told me "that OLD ph number is in someone else's name and they have been using your account, someone named Elizabeth" Aint' no one I know.
Over the following 5 months, after their I.T. dept. putting my documents together with my NEW ph, my address and email...and Now 3 ph calls, 6 weeks later, looking for my Replacement card for 'My Lowes acct, its still isn't here. I 'am Not about to step foot into the store to get the same lame stare from the check out.
Over the past 10 years I only tried twice using my VA eligibility, only to find out the ph number Never was in my name at all and it was only this past SEPT I followed up and called their home office to find these folks give NOT a red Ratts a^^ to do their Own follow up. That's where this entire can of worms is. No Where. The exact Same as Lowes customer service and to say the least, those employed in their Stores. Its been my experience to find 1 upfront who is willing to even nod their head in a veteran's direction as if you're not even there. Very disrespectful and as If they don't need My business.
I have a Great Amazon Prime acct. and Use it.
What appears to me is American companies which are invested in by large money financiers Will be and Is the Doom for our society by literally driving U, S. consumers in the direction They want to Grow...i.e China and its conglomerates.

Lowe's FedEx

This is actually about their use of FedEx. I live in an apartment and they continually tell me they cannot make a delivery. I was home today and I or my husband should have gotten a call if they had actually made it to our pedestrian gate.

On top of that they wouldn't allow me to choose one of their offices to pick up from and their assistant does not recognize my address.

I think I finally told them to return the product to sender. Use a different shipper!

I realize this is not directly Lowe's fault, but it's not right that FedEx gives me a hard time just cause I live in a set of apartments.

Siding installment appointments cancellations, supplies shortages up price of siding went from #3000.00 to $5500.00 poor service excessive excuses. Lowe's e-gift card

I am Realtor and Asheville NC. After a closing in Whittier NC this afternoon I ordered an e-gift card as a closing gift for my buyer to use in the Sylva NC branch of Lowes. Although the purchase was approved by my credit card company, your company, Lowes canceled the order for fraudulent reasons. I called the number in the email and found myself speaking to someone in the Philippines who told me they were not allowed to tell me why my e-gift card was declined by Lowes. I have called every phone number listed for Lowes on google including local stores. NOT ONCE could I reach a human.

In addition to buying gift cards for holidays, closings, etc I recently purchased a home and spent thousands of dollars on this very credit card at the West Asheville Lowes.

Somebody, somewhere can tell me why this happened.

Lowe's Delivery

Was supposed to get my freezer deliver today...feb 10 2021 call lowes 800 number they transfer me to the store Austin hwy San Antonio tx was told all drivers at this location were quarantine for vivid 19...wasn't it funny not 2 minutes earlier female rep.said it was checking to see it was on the truck for delivery. Now my delivery is now going to be feb 21 2021...this store is be dishonest..., , what a girl going to do...they have me trap...have to wait and hopefully it will come...never had to wait a so long order on 27th of Jan 2021

Lowe's washer dryer

I ordered a washer dryer from north bergen nj lowes. they called the wrong number to call about delivery because the dryer was not in stock they would not be delivering the washer which i needed. trying to call back the store was i joke i called 50 times no answer finally i got someone on sunday they wanted to deliver the washer I told them no wont deal with your company again.
