Bad serves I received from nonhlanhla a call center agent. And he hole enter dstv
I write this message in regard to the service I encountered with a multi-choice two weeks ago. I'm flabbergasted and perplexed on how multi choices as a big entity would do false advertising on its elderly customers. The account I'm referring to is my mother and her customer number is [protected] and her name is E. Mavuso. last month she was asked to reopen her account and was told to pay R215 for three months from July and she paid R215 plus the reconnection fee of R50. On the 2nd of august, the message through her phone again told her to pay R65 and it was due on the 5th of august. She paid on the 3rd of this month and her account was disconnected on the 8th hence I called customer care on that day and I was disgruntled with the pure service I received from a call center agent name Nonhlanhla. Nonhlanhla talks to her workmates and clients at the same time I gave her the ID number of the clients she was to help. She kept on asking me the ID numbers numerous times and I even told her ill was running out of airtime and she lied to me as a client that she would get back to me when we disconnect. Even now as I write this message I'm still waiting for her call as she promised me as a client. "promising lies to customers". I had to call an hour late and spoke to Anellsa at about 4 in the after the sad part about that day was I felt like a responsible parent as my three-year-old child with her nephews told me there were no cartoons showing on TV. I was at the car wash at the time of the call my car was inside the wash bay and it was a holiday on the 8th so it was a long holiday. I paid a fool price at the car wash for the pore soup water only coz I got a call and had to rush home. it was not their prerogative to have not finished my car. I had to take care of the children at home by taking them out to burger king not far from home. again whose prerogative is that? mine. on the 10th I had to drive to my mother's house to pick her up at maponya mall about the query she's having with the multi-choice account. Anelisa the call center agency told me it's a preparator amount and that wasn't stipulated in the SMS you sent your client. She told me my mother needed to pay R300 and something for her to be reconnected. At maponya Mall was told something else different and shocking to hear what happens to name a few. bear in mind the first SMS said she can pay R215 for three months from July to September. ovasly she had to pay R50 so that she could be reconnected coz she was not using the account since last year I think. there is no were in your contract that stipulates clients to pay for a preparatory fee during the actual services "being online". One of your employees told me that I brock the deal when I paid that R65 and have to go back to paying the R300 and something. I fill as a consumer of DSTV. I guess we all know when it comes false marketing to your client means and we know the act of consumer rights. I've got proof of all the recordings I made and the SMSs received from DSTV and the slips even the one at the DSTV store.
Desired outcome: I fill DSTV should take responsibility for its doing and lack of training of its employees who never ask for help if there are not sure about the product. Doing so cost us dearly when we are being taken from pillar to post
Overcharging customers
Ticket Number [protected]
DSTV has charged me 3 times during the month of July without any reason. My account was up to date and they debited an amount of R2870.
I have called 5days straight in a row. The call center agents are extremely unprofessional. They talk to me plus their friends at the same time. Some of them can barely speak English and they have promised to call back on 5 different occasions but never did. Their Team Leader seems to be in hiding because he is never available.
It is clear that these call center agents do not have a clue of what they are doing.
Multichoice is now sitting with my money which I cannot get back.
It is the worst service short of a Government department.
Desired outcome: I want my money back. This feels like theft to me
My DStv subcription
I have been calling and getting calls several times noe with no help at the end so i dont know what to do anymore because there was an addition to my subscription saying that its for the router but i never got or signed for that router now i have to pay a large amount of money for my compact and the router that i never got so please assist... i was told several times that router was cancelled but when i check my packages the router is added so i dont know what to do anymore because i have been sending several emails with no help at the end

My Services have been disconnected after I've paid MultiChoice
To say I'm upset is an understatement, I'm fuming and disgusted by the service of Multichoice. Multichoice has been disconnecting my service every second day for over a week now. They are saying they are unable to allocate my payment which was made on the 27 of July for the month of August. I've had this account for over 15 years and I'm absolutely disgusted by the service I've received from Multichoice. I had to send them proof of payment for them to reconnect, they reconnect for a day only to switch it off the next day. Whenever I call they tell me "the matter has been escalated and your payment will be allocated".
Desired outcome: Reconnect my services
Payment not reflecting
Multichoice has been disconnecting my services everyday for the past 7 days now. Their reason is that I didn't pay, I always pay my dstv on time on the second of every month. I had to send them proof of payment for them to reconnect, they reconnect for a day only to switch it off the next day. Whenever I call they tell me "the matter has been escalated and your payment will be allocated". Today they even refused to reconnect me saying it's again their policies, what the hell am I paying for then?. At this point I don't know what to do because when I ask to speak to the manager they refuse or put me on hold for 1 hour
Desired outcome: Reconnect my services without me having to call every day
DsTv
Hi we paid R430 for compact which we have been paying for the past 2-3 months. We upgraded 3 months ago . But recently we realized that our channels for compact are not playing , we are only allowed to view Family channels while we paid R430 for our compact package. We paid at Shoprite at Bambanani Mall. All our compact channels are displaying a message saying Our channels are blocked. We have contacted [protected] but it seems like we are not getting help from the automatic responses .We need our channels please we paid.
Desired outcome: Please fix this error and make sure that we get all our compact channels that we paid R430 for.
Fraudulent debit orders on the incorrect dates and surcharges on my customer account
I've had a contract with DSTV for the last two years as part of the price lock premium package. I updated my debit order date with DSTV but since then they have persistently continued to debit my account 15 days earlier than agreed. Which means, they would disconnect my account every month and then charge my for reconnection fees. My Debit order amount therefore also fluctuates every time they do it because my account would suddenly go from R899 for the PRICE LOCK to almost a R1000 and sometimes even above R1000.
I have to contact their offices every month to update my information for the payment date and to make sure it is right, but every single month the same thing would happen.
I have now spent a total of over 100 hours on the phone with their offices, chatted to6 different persons on the whatsapp chat function and did it on the self service function but to no resolve. They are refusing to reconnect my package and demanding payment of the incorrect debit order they are charging me for before they will even attempt to deal with my account.
Desired outcome: Either Reconnect my DSTV Account with immediate effect OR terminate my contract and refund me almy premiums for the constant hassle and inconvenience I had to experience with this company.

Desired outcome: I need quick response
Payments
Last month on the 02 July 2022 I made my DSTV payment and on the 4th July the channels where cut off. I called and i was told i made a late payment even though it was not and I sent proof of payment to them. Then on the 26th July 2022 I made a payment for the month of August. Today on the 4th again my channels where cut off. In inquiring I was told that I was billed from the 26th till the 1st and now my balance is R66.00 and now I have to pay another R99.00 as apparently I paid late last month and they say I paid on the 5th July so they deducted from my amount. DSTV is simply trying to double bill me and I'm not happy about it.
Desired outcome: I want my channels to be reconnected.
Savings Account Debited when I do not have a contrcat with MultiChoice
I cancelled my contract with MultiChoice in May 2022. Despite discussing the mmater with their Agent they continued to debit my account which they corrected after I had to visited their offices again. Now on 1st August 2022 they debit my Savings Account again. I called their Call Centre and the agent verified my personal info. I explained that I had cancelled my contract and he said that I shoudl speak to another agent. After holding on for 12 minutes the next agent started listening and then cut the call.
I think that it is fraud to bill for a cancelled contract.
Desired outcome: Admit your mistake. Refund the value taken and pay the bank transaction charges
My account No.[protected] (Overpaying of my DSTV)
I paid R500 on 27/07-22, as I was disconnected on 26/7-22. when I call to say that I am not connected to date I was told that my payment was misallocated to another account and I was made to pay another R534.81- it means in total I paid R1034.8, I am told that the will investigate and come back to me is almost 24 hrs know one give me a clear story of what happened.
Desired outcome: I want my R500 to be paid back
Storage Wars host Dan Dotson
The host, Mr Dan Dotson's abusive, gender based violence towards his wife, Ms Laura Dotson, is against our Constitution and leads to encouraging men to speak to women in a VERY disrespectful and demising manner! PLEASE CANCEL all upcoming Episodes and Seasons where he hosts this Series as his conduct to woman, and especially his wife, are NOT CONDONED, considered OFFENSIVE and MORALLY WRONG!
Desired outcome: Seize all upcoming Episodes and Series of Storage Wars where Dan Dotson is the host!
No service
I'm totally annoyed
I have had to contact MultiChoice upmteenth times about disconnections, your agents lie and no manager or supervisor has gotten back to me,the whole week up and down with calls
I knew I made a bad decision by not getting a smart TV box and listening to your Sales agent
Who has now migrated my package, tied me down for 24 months but failed to liaise with accounts about my prorata fee being brought forward as he promised!
I can provide you with the escalation reference is #INC-1182218 your other agent gave me this reference but I don't this was even escalated
To make it worse another response was 72 hours after I sent the email for assistance, when I asked why it took so long ,she told me that she was very busy
Wow I'm appauled!
Someone kindly get back to me or please take your decoder, we can't beg those we pay!
Desired outcome: I can provide you with the escalation reference is #INC-1182218
Payments
Made my payments that was due for each month for the premium package and they confirm with call on the 22/07/2022 @3 and confirm dstv have the issue resolved, yet they confirm they have not done so at all and the service they deliver is putrid.
DSTV confirm there was a missing payment since 1st March 2021 and they confirm they have done an audit which show the outstanding/refersal from one bank to another bank.
This is truly upsetting when you know that they work on a month to month basis, this needs to raise cause dstv will switch you service off immediately and when they are wrong they get away with it.
Desired outcome: Services needs to be restored ASAP and compensation.
Poor customer service
Good day,
I am so furious, my dstv went off I then checked my amount due to dstv its R1700 something, I then contacted them and spoke to one of the consultants, he then told me its because of being a valued customer they did not switch of my dstv but accumulated interest daily for the grace days they have been given me, I then said its [censored] as I person that works in finance and because dstv is not a monthly but month to month why did they not switch off at the time... I am disgusted in the service and communication as that was not told to me.
DSTV is pathetic and just a money making thing.
I feel I should not pay this bill of interest and month as this should have been disconnected for the month.
Now it becomes the customers fault and ownis to pay the bill DSTV created when the dstv should have been put off at the time.
regards,
Very Upset Customer
Desired outcome: I refuse to pay the days where i had "grace" for the whole month and interest as my dstv shouldve been off for the month and not a whole month of grace and interest
Repeats of programmes
We pay so much per month for having to watch repeats on BBC Brit and Comedy Central! Ag no guys. What's happening. We want value for our money! Enough of our money is being WASTED by government. Give us a break!
Desired outcome: It's obvious!
Disney+ not activated
I received a call from a DSTV agent on the 30.06.2022 to add Disney + to my DSTV Package, I agreed to it. Since then I have not been able to watch it, every time I go on it says I must subscribe. I have been trying since the 15th of July to get this corrected. Every time I phone I have to retell my story to a different call center agent, and each time the agent tells me it shows active on their side and they will escalate it to the technical department and it will be fixed in 24 hours, It is costing me a fortune in airtime to tell my same story every day. No one is resolving this issue. I have even contacted Disney+ and they have said that on their end is shows that DSTV cancelled the subscription on the 30/06/2022. A call center agent phoned be back on the 15th July at about 17.30, and said that my subscription had been disconnected by them in error and they would correct it, but because it is a 24 month contract it might take a bit longer, but it would be corrected by the 16th July 2022. It is now the 20th of July almost a month since I took out this contract and I still dont have an active Disney+ channel. This is the most pathetic, disgusting service I have ever received, I will not recommend DSTV to anyone.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate someone responds to me with a solution to my problem.
The same issue is what we experiencing, if you do get a solution please pass on
Internet
I tried phoning twice, whatsapp, self service on website, emailed. And they phoned back just to verify account. No one is helping fixing my problem. This is been going on since 21 June. I can't access my Internet during the day and I can only use roll over night data since 21 June till now. Everyday I reboot the router and it keep saying my network is offline. I am paid up for the month upfront and made another payment thinking it could be the problem. Almost Everytime I am told my data is depleted... 21 June the router went offline, 25 June I'm suppose to receive new months data. SINCE 21St router went network offline how am I able to use data if my router network is offline? I took screenshots and are taking this matter to ombud because I got NO HELP so far. Im also thinking to get legal help because this is rediculous.
Desired outcome: Want my internet restored. Or my wifi network online. A. S. A. P. Because my kids are losing school days about this.
DSTV robbed me
On the 18/07 I got a call from a consultant to join Disney plus, he told me if I sign a contract I would pay only R60 more on my premium account ( that’s a lie) I agreed , I wanted to pay my yearly payment they told me my account has gone up by R250 a month and must pay a cancellation fee straight away of R280 , they then blocked my account I have been with them since 1990s, I have always paid the exuberant fees now my account is blocked until I pay a fee for this guy lying to me, I’m pretty sure they are trained to lie and then charge you a cancellation fee , why would they block my account straight away it’s never been blocked in 25years they are now to dumb to reconnect unless I pay for this imbecile mistake
Marco Di Stefano +[protected]
Desired outcome: Reconnect me and don’t charge also stop lying to your customers
Dstv internet
My number [protected] router delivered in the wrong place/direction and it appears to be working where ever it is and m being charged for that
