Good day,
I got a pair of truworths heels as a gift, the shoes given to me by my sister who bought it at truworths (blue route branch) I could not return it as I don't know when it was purchased and I don't have a receipt either. The right shoe is different in size from the left shoe, the backings are also noticeably different from the other backing. I cannot wear the heels because of these reasons. It is still in the original packaging as it's never been worn. I find it very upsetting to receive these kinds of rejects from truworths who also produce quality products. Please advise what I should do,

Hi. I'm a truthworths customer and bought a cotton dress at loch Logan mall in Bloemfontein last month, but I'm staying in modimolle. Went for a visit. The dress is an earthchild brand. I wore the dress twice and decided to wash it, unfortunately it has faded colour spots. The dress now look like an old one. I handwashed it separately for that matter. Please help what should I do?

Shop assistant ignored my call for assistance with my shopping and he chose to assist another customer who came after. Whereby I waited for him to finish with that customer and he ended up saying he is going to the bathroom without attending to my request. So I requested to see the manager who apparently was not around and I was referred to the store supervisor who did not full addressed my complain to my satisfaction.
To my surprise, such a big company with such customer bad service.

I have never seen a company that does not listen to their customers like Truworths.
In the last two weeks I received three phone calls from truworths(2 From Bloemfontein Number & One from Joburg number) and all then were offering me debit order option which I clearly stated that I am not interested for now but yet they still call non stop, even though my account has never been in areas.
Please stop harrassing me your phone calls.

Firstly I didnt apply for a truworths account i just got one in the mail. My family started using.g it about 3 or 4 months ago and I am disgusted by the service we got so far. Not only am I being harassed but I have to deal with rude employees over the phone .I am appalled at truworths staff professionalism especially the ones who call. I am a student and they made my installments so high and gave me the 6month payment plan without even asking if I can afford it or not and then a rude [censored] still has the audacity to call me and tell me that she will phone me 10x a day to pay and that my payments are to little and I made a payment based on what I could afford and what I have and she keeps calling its harassment. I tried explaining that I'm on study leave and asked for a better payment plan but no absolutely no professionalism or ethics. As soon as I pay the truworths account finish I will never ever use it again.

i have lost a smart card ID apparently somebody found it and open an account at Truworths Mokopane using my ID, my problem is that how can a person use a smart card ID to open an account without the salesman looking at the ID if it is the person correct photo on the ID allow the customer to collect items, after the customer open an account at the store did the store ask the customer to produce the ID or they just gave the customer what he/she want without checking the records on the system, this customer use the address of Polokwane and i have never being in Polokwane. Using SMS or Online application without checking the ID is costing us at the victims of the fraud also a loss to the store please help.

Firstly Truworths times day they open at 10h00 . I was at the store at 10h15 and they still not open!

i walked into a Truworths store this morning and i got a bad experience of what retail is i bought a belt and when paying for it the lady refused to go and get me a bigger size, saying that i should go and get it myself, which as a customer i feel is not adequate service as there was nobody else in the Que.

I bought a ladies Jean in Trueworths Waterfall mall in rustenburg last month towards month end while I was traveling and we go the right size but the made is too small and I lost a proof of purchase but the product is still in a good condition and it has a price tag on it which it can be sold again, the thing is i went to Trueworths Jubilee Mall and they refused to help me out as I was looking for an exchange for the right product and I was told if I had account with them they would be able to help me but if I don't have it they wouldn't help me at all, so it my money worth a thing to me because it seems I have lost it in other words and I am being treated badly because I bought the wrong size, I only needed to get a right size.

On the 09 Oct 2019 I bought a dress cash using my bank card at Truworths Creste, it turns out it's not the right size.my friend went to Cresta on Friday the 11 Oct 2019 to do an exchange however there was no fit size, she then requested a refund however she didn't have my bank card as per Truworths refund process.
I then went to Truworths Randburg Square on the 15 Oct 2019(6 days later) and also i didn't find the dress, when I asked for refund the lady at till noticed that the dress was torned on the left hand side of the dress, she asked me about it and I told I didn't even see that it has torned. She then called her supervisor(Hlaulani Nukeri) who checked the dress and asked why the dress has bit of make up on it. I told her that we didn't wear the dress but we did fit it and its possible that we bought it with maker up but we didn't analyze it when we bought it.
The store Supervisor(Hlaulani Nukeri) told me to take the dress back to Cresta as she can't sell it and it will be her stock loss, I refused and said to me Truworths is Truworths it doesn't matter where however she can call Cresta because I'm on lunch and I will not spend more money to go to Cresta.
She then called Cresta Truworths to ask the store manager if they sold a torned dirty dress to any customer on the 09 Oct 2019 as Truworths rule is that the store was suppose to indicate on the slip, and obvious the Cresta store manager refused and said it would have been marked as rejection.
She then came back to me and said she understand the torn part but she will not take the dress because of the make up part. As the lady at till gives me plastic bag I asked to speak to the store manager i was advise she is on training and Hlaulani Nukeri is in charge of the store on her absence. I then requested to speak to the Area Manager regarding my issue.
Hlaulani Nukeri(store Supervisor) said they are not allowed to give customers the Area Manager's name or contact details. I asked her to call the Area Manager as I'm not leaving the store without my refund and she must hurry as I'm on lunch break.
As store Supervisor was making a call, I asked the lady at till what is the process if the dress was the right size and it was worn then the torn part happened within 6 days and it also had the make up part as woman we do put on make up, she said they would have done the refund and there is no need for the customer to wash the dress. Then I asked them what is the difference to my situation and they couldn't answer.
Then the store Supervisor confirmed with arrogance and attitude that she will do the refund and I asked her what was her reason in the first place to waste my time and call Cresta and sending me off without my refund for something that she could have done in the first place. She then gave me an attitude and told me I first claimed its size issue but now the dress its torned with make up.
I asked her to apologize for wasting my time as now it's clear that the was no need for her to make me wait on the store for over an hour. She refused to apologize to the point I was so frustrated then I asked to speak to the store Manager regarding her attitude.
She agreed that she will call her manager as I was waiting she spoke to the store manager for like 10minutes using Shevhenda language which I dont understand. She then gave me the fone when I was complaining about my time been wasted, the Store Manager who didn't say her name told me that the store Supervisor has already told her what happened and she has made the decision to give me the refund.
Then I got more furious and more frustrated because the store manager didn't hear me out first as customer why I wanted to speak to her and she has made her decision without even speaking to me first as customer.
I told her that she is making the situation so worse as her store Supervisor already agreed to the refund but I wanted to talk to her about Hlaulani's attitude towards customers. I told her that she can call me after an hour as I was fuming and she can take my details I left on the refund process and I hang up on her.
Asked the lady at till to give me the Area Manager's name and contact details she said she is afraid as she will get into trouble.
I gave Hlaulani Nukeri so many opportunities to apologize and she refused and continued with her attitude in front her staff and other customers to the point that tbe store security apologize on her behalf and all I wanted from the store manager is someone senior to hear me out as a customer from the bad service I received.

Yesterday I was harassed by your security guard I was getting in you new store looking for things I may like since I have an account at you store, I was holding a plastic then I passed the security guard at your door he called like saying yey buyala yey yelling and answered asking him do you want to close my plastic then he answered hayi buyalana I continued going in n he yelled hard saying yey I said come here I want to close that plastic what do you think I want from you besides that n he took my plastic n throw it down where he was standing I went in for 2 seconds n decided to go I couldn't even continue to shop by the way I was treated by that guy . I wanted to return a white dress. I had almost R2500 worth of new clothing that I wanted to buy, however, after this unfortunate incident I left it at the counter and returned to my vehicle with my white dress that the lady, Mabuni, working at the counter decided not to exchange for me because of a stain. I know its policy not to exchange clothing with stains, but seriously? I will attach 2 photo's of "THE STAIN" and then you can decide if it is worth treating a customer of 25 years like this. I will NEVER, EVER buy anything from this Truworths branch in Lichtenburg ever again and I will not hesitate to tell this to all of my friends to avoid this shop. When you look at the photo, "the stain" is on the left hand side on the V-line. What is was actually was a little bit of blusher the brushed off as I pulled the dress over my head to fit. The mark is so light that it is not even clearly visible to the eye?

I bought my wife a set of underwears at your branch in Jubilee Mall on Wednesday the 2nd of October, bras and panties but when I surprised her with them in the evening the bras were fine but she realized the underwears are bigger although the tag is her size, a medium.
I went to exchange them but the stuff told me that they cannot do an exchange and they told me that I can even go complain if I want to.
Is that how you treat your customers? You need to do away with that kind of attitude seriously . A simple no would have been enough.

I bought a green top and matching green pants. I have worn them both only 3 times. They have faced in colour and now the two greens are two different shades. I am wanting to return them please. I feel like I am dressed in rags when I wear the outfit. I am very disappointed in the quality. I received a gift from my partner, an Uzzi shoe which cost 650. Unfortunately it was a size smaller. On the day of purchase it was raining and the box with the slip was damaged. The following day I took the shoe to return and the manager Shalya was very unhelpful. This girl does not know how to deal with customers. For such a large retail store it's pathetic. She's unprofessional and rude. I had to call head office and ran around like a fool. She needs to be removed and someone who knows the consumer act needs needs to take her position. I've met others in the line who said they had the same problem.

I walked in the store to make purchase of a headset the service consultant was speaking in Zulu and I could not understand her as she was talking fast and was inpatient to repeat. I then asked her if we can both try to communicate in a business language as she was impatient to repeat her statements she was soo rude we ended up going to edgars to buy the phone. I have been to Truworths store Ngebs Mall Mthatha purchasing a cellphone worth 3400. I was told I will be checked if I qualify and they say I do. They asked for proof of residence or Bank Statement which I brought.
Everything is done I sign and then they say my account has not been paid for 2 months. That is nonsense I never missed payment. I have been overpaying this account for months above required instalments. This store has given me a credit of R13000 for what?
Why give that credit to a bad payer. They can't sell me a phone worth 3400 but I can take clothes of that limit. That is absolutely nonsense.
The way they treat long standing customers is absolute dishonesty. There is no way I continue supporting such unprofessionalism.

I have been shopping at Truworths Constantia in the Western Cape, South Africa, for the last 4/5 years. My details are on the system, my fingerprints are on the system and staff at the beauty products know my by face and name.
Today I visited the store but forgot my bag at home. I wanted to buy a gift for a friend and spoke to the manager / supervisor on duty telling her that I have a picture of my ID, passport, and drivers on my phone can she please let me purchase and she refused to help.
Surely if it was her business, she would not turn away sales! Also, I am a loyal customer shopping there regularly and paying my bills timeously, I expect more as a result of my loyalty.
Truworths should have a more educated, people friendly, petiole serving manager on duty able to use sense and logic and to just be a bit more helpful!
This isn't the first time I've experienced unhelpful service just the first time in complaining. I feel like I should take my business somewhere where I would be more valued!
