Heartland farms triple flavor kabobs dog treats
I started buying heartland treats because they were made in the USA. Then I recently bought a bag of the Triple Flavor kabobs treats that my dogs love. I noticed they weren't really eating them up like normal. I smelled the treats and it took my breath away. They literally smelled like [censored].. excuse my language. I looked on the back of the bag & noticed...

On several occasions, we have experienced inconsiderate truck drivers with regards to location of parked truck. Twice now, one trucker in particular, blocks the entire southeast entrance to the store. Customers have to drive out onto the highway and enter from the other end of the store. This blocks the entire parking lot by the back door where he unloads the merchandise. There is ample room for him to scoot over into one entire line of parking spaces that would leave enough room for local patrons to enter from the east side of the building and onto the front of the store. This is in Collinsville, Texas. The truck number is 11465 and on the door is 76532. The Dollar General logo is on the trailer and the truck is Werner Enterprises.
The first time it happened, I thought he must just be a new driver and didn't know exactly where to park. He obviously has no regard for others and their needs.
Desired outcome: re-training, reprimand
Broken crackers - always broken crackers
I shop in the Washington Kansas Dollar General Store. When I buy crackers there they are always broken, ALWAYS. They buy the factory rejects and pawn them off as firsts. They dairy case is always empty, shelves are always out or low on stock. They local people are great, it's the corporate scum that never sends any products to the store and pawns off rejects on unsuspecting customers. I but crackers at HyV, Dillons, the local grocery store and they are fine, no broken crackers if bought there, only place where the broken crackers are is at Dollar General. What a shame that the corporate scum that runs Dollar General is running the company in the ground. We hate you corporate America!
Ben and Jerry's Products
This morning I learned that Ben and Jerry's has boycotted selling in Israel. You sell their products!
I will no longer be shopping in your stores. I would much rather drive an additional 50miles to and from Walmart or Cashwise than to be a patron to those who do this to Israel, OUR ally. And I am spreading the word.
Secondly, the companies in Israel who EMPLOY Ben and Jerry employees are mostly Palestinians, who make a quadruple wage more than they would working in their own land. Most of the employees there are Palestinian compared to Jews. And they are treated well and work in a very secure environment.
So this "boycott, " is hurting Palestinians as well.
Genesis 1:3 states "And I will bless them that bless thee; and curseth him that curseth thee and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."
Those are God's words, speaking to Abram.
There will be strong repercussions from this mark it down.

Thank you.

Desired outcome: No more Ben and Jerry's
I am tired of going to the store and can't use my debit card.

The employees are really nice but air condtioning has been down the card reader don't work what is going on. Everybody in our are uses this store we need good management there. Read full review of Dollar Generalbeing followed
In regards to store# 09705, fl. As a customer of color, I do not appreciate being followed around the store by Nancy, I have my own business and have never stolen anything in my life, it is particularly embarrassing when I have to explain to my daughter why this woman is following us. I have complained to this company before but they do not seem to care, so I just stopped shopping there.
Desired outcome: leave customers alone
People who do not have to shop while being black do not understand what it feels like to be
followed all the time. Speaking out about the experience is nothing to be ashamed of, trying to
quiet them is.
an employee doing their job is nothing to be ashamed of either. they can’t simply say it’s because they’re a “person of color”. thsys simply not fair to say. the reality is the employees are allowed to follow whoever they want inside the store. if that is even what they were doing. shame on you as well for overlooking this.
well they are employees of that store who don’t get paid much people do steal from them. and I’m sure that they would be offended and absolutely disgusted with you assuming that it’s because of the color of your skin. I know I would be offended. shame on you for this.
Unreal
I just seen on facebook you made in charge of a store a person that I seen and walked by her Jeep smoking pot in your parking lot it had Ruby on the windshield and on both sides of the hood. Yes I know what pot smells like. So anyway I went in and asked what was she doing the lady said oh she is on lunch. So I waited till she went back into the store to see...

I spend 3-4 hundred dollars a month in your stores in lake city. Now I spend $20. No shopping carts. Mgrs. in lake city fla advised me they get stolen so they won't replace them. I won't shop there anymore as I can't fit $200 worth of items in your hand baskets. You losing your carts is not the customers problem it is yours. Losing your customers over it is also your problem. With so many other shopping choices. Your former customers don't have any problems. They spend their money elsewhere.
Desired outcome: Buy carts and always have them on hand.
managers can order them. if they don’t come in then it’s a supply issue.
K0549 spray bottle
I bought 2 spray bottles made in China, 1 broke with 1st use & the other one works, both made with cheap material. Am getting a refund on the broken one. Problem lies in cheap material and cheap labor in China. Not wise to do business with China, business with USA is wiser, with material that is not cheap. Its worth paying more in supporting the American people and knowing it's Made in the USA! Please reconsider doing business with China! Making more money is not the answer. Having a reputation for quality and long lasting products will get businesses farther.
Desired outcome: To wisely and seriously reconsider selling Made in the USA products regardless of the cost because of the consequences that our nation is having already with supporting itself.
I absolutely agree with you. however it’s a little hypocritical that you purchased it even though you’re protesting against it.
Inconvenient
Low on stock, prices not marked, bathroom always out of order and never any cash back! Most shelves are bare, I have to ask them to check a price, employees are for most part polite and tell me to call and complain to manger about the getting bathrooms fixed and keeping such low cash in registers. For the only convenient store in that area it's quite inconvenient. Never a manger on-site! Just hear say but in passing I was told by a friend that when they saw the manger she looked like she was under the influence of something. Thank you
Desired outcome: Fix them
Unethical behavior of employees
Me and my husband were just verbally abused by a employee that claimed she was the manager when I and another customer asked for a Manager. The store was packed and had several customers waiting in line when I asked the lady who claimed she was the manager to please cash me out. She was just standing there doing nothing when I noticed that the cashier that...
Read full review of Dollar General and 1 commentStore appearance poor
I like shopping at DG. I don't like the appearance of the Western Av store at zip 45601. The parking lot is never swept/hosed off, it is littered and poorly landscaped. The large lighted sign over the entryway is covered with insects. Obviously a hose is never used to keep the exterior clean. Inside, the floors are not swept and the aisles are congested with boxes and displays. The store is a convenience to the neighborhood, but it is not a positive image for our location or the DG corporation.
Desired outcome: Clean the store up
if it’s a convenience to you and your community then treat it like one.
employee
I was wrongfully terminated by belinda mirinelli and craig clifton i was told i resigned 3 weeks prior to 6/22/21 this is the date i received the call. this was based on what Kayden Lapointe told them he said i quit one day during my shift on that same day Belinda Mirinelli called the sheriffs department to have them ask me to leave for the remainder of my shift after she she had just cornered me in the office and yelled and cursed me out i had refused to leave in fear of losing my job s he spoke to the officers and stated that i was not losing my job and to return the next day for my shift
hmm it seems there’s some facts missing.
Cashless service
In Pineville WV the dollar general has been only using cash for the past 2 weeks. I wanted to shop there but I was using a credit card, so I have to go the the family dollar where I knew they was using the credit cards. I spent close to 80 dollars and I probably won't be going back there anytime soon. So do with this as you wish, but I probably won't get an acknowledgement that you read it.

I am in a wheelchair, every time I go into this store or any General Dollar store in Wayne county missouri, the isles are so full of merchandise that I can't get through the
Isles. Please help me and all the handicap people like me have a better shopping experience.. Thank You!
Norma… Also the workers oils be a little bit more helpful
Desired outcome: Resolve
unfortunately people suck and are very lazy so they don’t have many employees. therefore things don’t get put away and it just sits there. company is the main issue for not paying enough.
Dodson Branch GM
The new GM at the dodson Branch store is hateful and calls out her employees in front of customers just to make herself look important. Tells the staff to see her in the office while she is trying to take care of customers.
She is not professional! She needs to go!
Desired outcome: She needs to move on
Cashier
Me and my family were at the Dollar General in Farmers, Kentucky this evening 7/2/21 around 8:00 pm and we have never been humiliated like the cashier did to us there, we were using a debit card to pay for our products and it would ask if I wanted cash back but never gave any other option, I mean just asking if we wanted cash was all it said, done it twice, the cashier spent the card reader around real hard and just left us there and went and waited on another person behind us at the next register, then she came back to us, still being hateful mind you and it worked right that time, so we got our bags and there was another one there and we reached and grabbed it and the cashier jerked it away and said " I told you that was all of your stuff ‘real hateful, so the manager was outside, her name was Marty and she was making excuses for her at first and said she will talk to her, but when we left she was outside which is where we talked to her, so we went and got air in our tires and went inside the gas station and when we drove back by 15-20 minutes later the manager was still outside talking to the same person she was when we left.
Desired outcome: Discipline
sooo the cashier fixed your issue and then the failed to understand that you had already grabbed all of your items? ok?
Store manager
This store manager, Sarah, is rude and unprofessional and as long as she is working there I will not shop there. There are two other DG's close by that I will go to rather then look at this rude, scowling cow. On one visit to this store I witnessed her make a new hire cry while cashiering. Sarah makes customers wait while she's doing whatever it is she does in the back and has even stated she saw she had customers waiting.

Upon entering I saw no one but could hear people talking, I looked and looked for the product I was wanting, I went to the check out counter, after about a minute, a woman came out never said a word to me, as in, did you find everything, good morning, nothing. The young lady that was working today said they have no heat or cooling, I personally dont see how the employees stay in there, this is gonna be a heat related lawsuit from someone soon!
Desired outcome: Cooling in summer and heat in winter
