The Dollar General in the city of Meta has been wonderful for the city and the community, it has helped many people in the area. I want to be clear about the asset your store has brought to this area. There have are areas of concern with the latest management.
I am a 12 year veteran of the City Council, citizens continue to come to me when problems arise. I have had 6 people contact me about the behavior of the manager, Beverly Wieberg while they were shopping in the store.
1." I needed help finding an item, I asked an employee for help, she helped me and while she was helping me Beverly yelled from the other side of the floor, "Natalie, don't you have work to do?" The person felt bad that she asked for help and got the girl in trouble.
2. "I was checking out, there were people behind me and there was small talk with the cashier. Beverly yelled from isles away at the cashier to keep the line moving. I am sorry to get the cashier in trouble for being nice to me. We were NOT holding up the line, the manager is just so mean, I don't want to go in to the store when she is there."
3. Norma has been in this town her whole life, everyone knows her. " I am so tired of hearing Beverly yell across the store, " Norma, what are you doing wrong now! " "
4. In Mid America Bank, Beverly was giving the bank teller the what for because she had given permission for a certain transaction to occur; the teller responded with, "I don't know about permission, I only have a card for you, Beverly, you will need to come in and make this transaction."
5. " I was shopping and I heard Beverly yelling across the store at an employee. I went to the employee and told her, "Don't let her run you off, you stand your ground. " and the employee thanked me."
6. Worst, in my opinion. " I heard an employee tell Beverly that here is the contact information for the Helping Hands Foodbank in St. Elizabeth and if Dollar General has any donations to give they would love to have it. Beverly said, and the person was certain in the quote, " If they want donations, they can dig in the trash like ALL the rest of the people do in this town!" I too take offense to this statement by Beverly. If Beverly thinks we are all trash diggers in this town please give her the opportunity to receive a paycheck from someplace else.

The above people told me that they will not shop in Dollar General ever again...they are sick of the management.
I reminded them that when Chris was there it was not like this and that I am certain that this manager does NOT reflect the sentiment of Dollar General. Dollar General needs to know what is going on, please give them a chance before you stop shopping there.

We will see what Dollar General does with a manager who clearly has a disdain for the city she works in. Every citizen who has come to me hopes the Dollar General will stand for the high quality customer service that they have been known for in the past.

Thank you for your time and attention. No person wants to give their name because if you keep her on and they need to shop at your store they do NOT want to receive the same wrath Beverly gives the employees on them when they shop at your store

I went into the dollar general store#102 in Aberdeen, ms to pick a few things I needed. I couldn't find anything I was looking for and the shelves were bare. There was one associate in the back of the store sitting on boxes of merchandise on FaceTime on her phone. I asked if they had any bleach she said no. I just so happened to see some on the top shelf and struggled to get it down as she continued to talk on her phone. The rows were are a mess. When I got to the checkout counter there was no one there. There were several people in line waiting to be checked out and still no one came. I went to the managers office; no one in there. I went to the bathroom no one in there. I left my merchandise on the counter and walked out as did every other customer that was awaiting in line. Worst experience ever . I will not go back to the store nor will I recommend it to anyone.

I am a customer and shareholder. I have on two occasions been dismayed when the Capron, Virginia closed early; once @ 9:00; once @ 8:00.

On 06/09/2021, I was shopping in Dollar General store# 15599 address
102 East Evergreen, Achille OK 74720. The store had approximately 6 shoppers at this time. As I was finished shopping and headed up to the cashier I observed one female waiting in line to be checked out, I then stood behind her and waited for approximately 4 to 5 minutes, before I made my way to the front counter I witnessed 2 of the employees in very back of the store, they were laughing and joking around and being loud.. As myself and this other woman was waiting for someone to check us out she made a comment to me that she is so sick and tired of no-one being up front to check her out, also at this time 2 other people came and stood in line waiting to be checked out. At this time I did holler for someone to come check us out and finally he showed up, saying something under his breathe and having an attitude. Please do something about this employee, I have personally asked him to be professional and do his job and take pride in his job, he just laughs at me and says oh well this is a paycheck. The manager of this store is allowing this happen and honestly she acts the same way. The name of the employee is Michael Kramer Williams and Lyndsey Robinson and Marissa Philips. Numerous, numerous people are complaining and refusing to come back to this store.

I went to the Dollar General on Broad St. Pittsburgh Pa. 15206. The store was so cluttered you couldn't even make it through some of the aisles. You can see a bucket of dirty water with a dirty mop in the middle of the aisle. Not only was the store filthy and cluttered, there was no air conditioning! Won't go back!

Your store located in Galway, NY 12074, the corner of Rt. 147 and Rt. 29 has been having trouble checking out customers who pay by credit card and this has been happening for over a month now. It started with an "upgrade" and hasn't been working properly since. I'm telling you this because "Stewart's" is right across the street whihc I used to frequent but changed when your store was built and operating. However, with your problem about the checking out will make it more convenient to shop across the street at Stewart's. Please consider this notification.

I live in Cottontown Tennessee and was thrilled we were getting a dollar Store. Day one, carts in the isle, staff outside smoking, shelves empty. Today, June 7, 2021, refrigerator empty, shelves sparse. I had a list and will have to go tomorrow to finish my shopping. I complained to the cashier and she babbled about truck just coming in and had to count inventory before stocking. I have worked in retail, I know about packing slips and counting what comes in and not. She was in the office along with someone else. I have complained before and it did get better however today was a constant challenge getting around carts in isle. You were carrying buttermilk, no more. This is a rural area and not to be cute but we make biscuits a lot. You don't carry pie crust? I am so disappointed. There is a young lady there that is on the ball but haven't seen her is several weeks.

The assistant manager at the freedom Wisconsin store, Mitch? Is terribly rude to customers continually. He is insulting he is very unprofessional and I do believe this needs to be addressed.
He is rude to customers who choose not to wear a face covering.
He insults people with a very short rude response to any question asked.
He makes a scene at the checkout every time am IN this store and it just isn't right the way he treats people.

I was in Dollar General, and the broadcast was a talk show about black systematic racism. This made me very uncomfortable. Please do something about the radio stations that you allow to be played.
