rude manager
Debra who is above the employees at that store was really rude. Not to our face but behind out back and i over heard her. She was complaining about how people are asking where things where even though they come in everyday. I do not go there everyday by the way. It doesn't matter if someone goes there everyday she shouldn't be saying things like that. If she doesn't like her job she should find somewhere else to go.

Got home after shopping. Cashier told me I had 2 bags which I picked up. Several items missing from bags. Tried to call the store for one hour ( 8 tries).
Finally, got in the car, drove back to the store. A third bag with my missing items was behind the counter. Cashier said, well sometimes, they give the wrong information!
I explained I had tried to call to see if the bag was there before I drove back. The cashier said, oh, yeh. The phone hasn't worked for a week. We called our emergency number for the company but nobody ever came to fix it.
The machine to take credit and debit cards was also down. Cash only.
Sometimes needs to look into this store's management.

Hi I love dollar general stores but I have lived in brooklyn indiana for 2 years in mooresville mobile home park we have a dollar general with in walking distance so it is very convenient for me to go to but I am very unhappy with this store it is never stocked, never clean so I have to go all the way to town to dollar general just to get small stuff like headache meds or food for my animals among other items... I just wish someone would come visit this store and get it up to standard, to me they never have enough people to get the frieght out. The store has empty shelves, cluttered shelves and possibly lazy workers. When asked about many items being out of stock, the employee blamed the higher-ups. This store is completely out of control! You absolutely can not get down the isles with a buggy and can barely walk down them without turning sideways. If you are going to be a manager...you might not want to lose your workers because you are selfish. I was told by her that she is willing to work with me while I am dealing with issues with my children and apparently helping me is terminating me. I was hired August 1st of 2019, and as of October 14th of 2019 I just today recieved verification that I am no longer employed by her store. There are lots of issues with her with numerous individuals and she shouldn't be allowed to treat her employees the way she does.

Once in the store it became clear that the employee wanted some personal time as she was on her cellphone loudly cursing to another party about her job. This went on the whole time I was shopping and since I had a toddler with me I checked out(she was still on phone) and left. This occurred at the Monroe Twp, Pa store and the whole store smelled like she had just had a cigarette. Please check into this as this is a fairly new store and very convenient.
