online order
I ordered my order on 10/17, estimated delivery was scheduled for 10/22. When I track my order on the Dollar Tree website, it shows delivered 10/22 but also says "pending, no items shipped" and i have not received my order. I have been on hold with the "customer service" number for over 30 minutes now waiting on a live person to come on. I also spent about 25 minutes on hold yesterday and NEVER got a live person. I will NEVER AGAIN shop with Dollar Tree.
customer service
For several years after it was built our local dollar tree at 29690 was pleasant clean and well staffed with polite and helpful people. Over the last year there have been a lot of turnover with the employees which I know happens within the retail world, but several things have begun to develop that are not good. One of the older ladies whom I assume is in management has been heard complaining about stocking shelves as she's doing it on several occasions. The store is no longer clean and very often has boxes all over. They have locked the public out of the womens restroom expecting us to take our little girls into a less than clean mens room. Now don't get me wrong I have been in other stores that only have one restroom for everyone to use but that's not the point they want to keep the one restroom clean for themselves and leave the other to their customers. They leave people waiting in line while they finish a task instead of calling someone or coming in good time. Last ti.e I was in the store a lady waited till there were 3 people in line before she bothered to even acknowledge us.
Mesa location on Gilbert and southern The Store Manager has poor management skill. When I visited that store the poor girl at the register was embarrassed by they way her manager approached her. The manager should of waited until the poor girl was off the register. As the poor girl was saying have a nice day I noticed her name tag she was in management to. I fell sorry for her.
manager
I attended the store today, there was only one cashier there and the manager went outside to have his 3rd cigarette break while there was a huge line in the cashiers line and then the manager came back in and left proceeded to leave the property while that one cashier was by her self! That is very uncalled for. What would have happened if that cashier had problems with her register? I've had several other problems with that manager, someone either needs to have a long conversation with him or that store is gonna lose business. The cashier name is Judy and she was very polite! But I will not be going back to this store.
Manager was doing you a favor actually if you think about it.
employee, attitude, behavior
I went into the dollar trees store here in Benton where I live and have shopped in that store since it opened, over the last (3) years I've had to go find an employee to help the cashier out bc f the long lines. I never had any trouble getting someone to help out so never felt as if I needed to complain. On or about the (3rd) day of Oct. I went in to purchase my monthly supply and bought roughly (37) items at which time when I entered the store there were several customers. When I went to check out I followed the same routine I had over the last (2-3) years and ask an employee n the floor to help out. The girl went into the office where I thought she had gone to count a drawer but after a couple of minutes, I knocked to ask for help again. Another voice said they'd be out in a minute. When the girl named Kizzy walked out she was mad and stared right at me, she had that look on her face that said "I'll get you" I went back this last Friday whee she met me at the door and told me "I was not welcomed in that store" bc customers had complained about me asking for help said "no customer ever" it was her bc it made her mad. If someone doesn't call me I will stand outside the store with a petition and get as many people as I can to sign that document pertaining the too long lines, customer service, and the incident that occurred in order for me to file suit
I have attempted calling and have left messages but no one has bothered to call me back. I live in Benton Ark and have shopped in the Dollar Tree since the day it opened here. Within this last year whenever I have shopped there have been lines at the check out with (10-12) people so I've always gone to find an employee to help and have never had a problem. I went in on or around the 3rd of Oct and the same action repeated itself. The young girl I ask to help went into the office and remain in there for over a minute so I knocked on the door to ask for additional help again. Another voice answered back that they be out in a minute. When the door opened 2 females walked out, one of whom was a manager that I learned was named Kizzy or something similar. She was mad and had that look on her face that said "I will get you for this" but I didn't care bc I shouldn't have to ask a manager to help out on the floor and do their job. A couple of weeks later on Friday, I stopped there to pick up (10) items and the manager named Kizzy was standing at the door and the same girl I had to ask for help was with her. Kizzy told me "I was no longer welcomed in that store" When I walked out to my car my son said he could go grab the 10 items and when he walked in Kizzy kept saying to him "hey man" "hey man" my son looked at her and said back to her "what" then she didn't say anything back. You have a real bad egg in your store who thinks she has the authority to run your customers off bc she doesn't want anyone asking her to do her job. I've worked in the public and know that someone like her tend to be liars and thieves. I can shop at the Bryant store but that's not the point. You have a man named John who works in the Benton store who is helpful, hardworking and courteous. In fact, everyone I've ever seen working in that store since it opened has been this manger named Kizzy is the only person I've seen there with that type of attitude. I imagine she might think she can get away with acting that way bc she knows it's almost impossible to get anyone from the corporate office to either callback or respond to any person who complains. No one should be allowed to treat another person in that manner especially in a public business such as Dollar Tree and I expect a reply
Nobody going to take this seriously. First off, you're not their boss. You don't tell them what to do. Secondly, you was very rude to them and with witnesses around, nobody going to sign anything for you. Grow up!
customer service
Hello the city of imperial beach just recently opened up a dollar tree, with the being said I was beyond excited for the opening! The store alone is great amazing deals and great product, but unfortunately I do not feel the same excitement for the customer service. I live about 2 blocks from location so I come here often (dollar tree) and every time I come to pay it never misses that the ladies there always have an attitude and the worst one of them all in the actual manager i've dealt with her about 3xs with her ringing me up and she's always mad and upset and straight up rude! I've seen her have attitudes with customers and i've seen customers yell at her for her rudeness! Unfortunately I don't recall her name the times i've seen her she doesn't wear a tag but I know she is the manager there! She's hispanic long black hair always has her hair slicked to the side with a pony tail i'm only mentioning description because like I said I can not remember her name and maybe with the description you can figure out who it is i'm talking about. I feel that with the main person in charge the manager always having a bad attitudes it is why it trickles down to all the other employees having bad customer service as well, there are not led by example at all which is very unfortunate imperial beach is made up of friendly people friendly neighborhood to have such a bad store the dollar tree take over and have all such horrible employees. I honestly never the kind to write reviews so the fact that i'm taking some time out of my day to wright this review is because i've had enough with the lack of customer service. Please I hope you guys actually care about the review these people which are your employees are giving the company such a horrible stigma and with the dollar tree being an awesome store overall to shop for it hasn't been the best experience for the imperial beach location.
service
Today me and about 20 other customers experience some of the worst service ever, cashier named Melissa don't know her last name but she was out front by herself trying to take care of customers and do the balloon service while other employees were in the office and outside refusing to help other customers. Cashier Melissa was very helpful and apologetic about the poor service from her coworkers. store# 890
employee robert @ store# 02215
On this morning 10/21/18 at or around 11:30 am, I, Micheal Delce was shopping inside of this location as I do every week to pick cleaning supplies. I particularly like this location for its convenience and cleanliness.
However, as I proceeded to the check out, a cashier by the name of Erica assisted me with the ring up! As she was ringing up the items I was purchasing, another employee by the name of ROBERT walked up behind her and proceeded to say, "LOOK AT HIS NAILS!" Then walked away with a scrutinizing laugh!
FOR THE RECORD, I am a gay male, but what does that have to do with the fact that I am a paying customer, and I'm here to spend my money just as everyone else?
I then asked for the manager and was approached by the assistant manager! I explained the situation to her in FRONT of ROBERT so that there would be no discrepancies or conflict of stories. AND THERE WAS NONE!
I'm filing a police report on ROBERT for his discriminatory comments and actions! I was informed that there will be a GM available at that location in the AM, and I plan to be there to inform him as well about my incident!
Furthermore; I pushed for the removal and termination of ROBERT as expeditiously as possible. This type of behavior should not be tolerated by ANY company associate. It wont be tolerated by my employees, and I refuse to tolerate it from yours!
I look forward to hearing from you soon!

online ordering and customer service
I made an order on 10/17. The order stated "UPS Estimated Delivery Date Monday 10/22".
I had heard nothing, so I called on Saturday 10/20.
Customer service told me that:
-my order has not been shipped yet
-they have no idea when my order will be shipped
-they cannot cancel my order because more than 24 hours has passed
-they don't care what the estimated delivery date was when I made my order
A complete waste of time, shipping promptly is not a priority and you can't believe the info on their website.
False Advertising? I think so, I would have ordered from another company if they had told me that the estimated delivery date was basically whenever they get around around to it.
I also have a problem with their order process. My order was placed on 10/11 with an expected delivery of 10/16. That was 6 days ago and the order still shows as "In-Process". The website won't take you to an email support page, but keeps taking me to a survey page and telling me I have to turn cookies on to continue. I have now been on hold for their Customer Support for 20 minutes and no answer. I guess I have learned to never order anything from them again.
management and returns and service
The rude management for the second time at dollar tree in chattanooga hamilton place. I spend several hundred dollars at dollartree and use the products. The only store in my area that is highly unprofeasional and rude. Employees talk peraonal business in front of customers rwgularly. The return policy is you have to have receipts. I always do and bc I shop regularly I almost 100. I over buy at timea and keep receipts to exchange 4 products out of 100. The management is very read chastity amd cassanudra. The regular employees are ok. I have my receipts everytime yet get attitude and they try to keep ypur entire receipt even when u have several purchases on them. The is pitiful and no store keeps receipts fro. Customers. Train your managers better. Go to walmart for training. The simple thi g to do is for the managers to scratch off purchases like walmart. This is a huge turn off and I bet this srore isnt the highest grossing but should b bc it is in prime location. This makes me want to give my business elsewhere and since there are three dg around I may aviod this location at all costs and the store. It is humiliating situation when mgmt. Talks to customers rudely in the store and I will go back with it especially when the mgmt is untrained. If your business is that poor then put cameras up bc ypur own mgmt. May b stealing merchandise. This is my only local store where customer service and store environment is an f. I will be caling district and wroting letters bc this is probably very unethical and improper. To have such good products and allow untrained staff to run a "training store" very sad
customer service
I went to the dollar tree at 6700 ne 162nd ave vancouver, wa 98682 10/19/2018. This store is the most disgraceful dollar tree i've ever been too! Their customer service is absolutely disgusting. On this date specifically I brought my son, who has severe adhd and autism, into the store. He was a little hyper active but nothing out of the ordinary. He kept "skipping" throughout the store because he was excited to be buying things for his brothers birthday party. He was asked once to stop skipping. He did so until I he asked for a balloon and I told him "yes!" he then skipped over to get a balloon and the cashier, a little older lady with blonde hair (I wasn't able to catch her name in all the ruckus) yelled as loud as she could "quit running! You've been told three times now) in a very unprofessional and disrespectful manner! The whole store went silent and my son was extremely embarrassed. He began to cry and stormed out of the store. I had to go out and calm him down, which took quite some time. When I went back into the store to retrieve my items my father had stepped in and was trying to explain to the store manager that what her cashier did was out of line and wrong. Out of anger he had raised his voice a little. The store manager herself was very polite and had the situation under control until one of her other workers, who had no idea what was going on, stepped out from the back and began yelling across the store at my father. Then other customers became involved. They agreed that it was extremely unprofessional but that it didn't need to be as big as it was. It wouldn't have been a huge ordeal had the other coworker not started yelling at my father. While this was all going on my son remained in the car crying and embarrassed. He kept repeatedly saying"i'm sorry! I wasn't running and I wasn't trying to do this". After ten minutes of the staff verbally assaulting my father and I they asked us to leave. Which we did. We left behind well over $100 worth of products we would have bought. I was in absolute disbelief that this got as out of hand as it did. The store manager was handling the situation and yet the other staff felt it necessary to get involved and attack us even more than the cashier attacked my son. I had a talk with my son and explained to him why she yelled at him and that it's unsafe to"skip"in a store. He understood and apologized again. He is terrified to go into any dollar store now. We took our business to the store in camas and he stayed in the car because he was so traumatized by her screaming at him the way she did. I understand their stores concern with safety but the way this cashier handled the situation itself was absolutely wrong! Especially given the fact that my son has disabilities, which I understand doesn't excuse his behavior either. She could have come to me or had her manager come to me and I could have handled the situation or even took my son to the car. He did not need to be yelled at the way he was nor embarrassed to the point that he began to cry and ran out of the store. This isn't the first even time i've had an issue with this cashier either. She scalded me one day for my 11 month old daughter, who is in a car seat and wasn't walking at the time, for not having shoes on. She told me"next time you come in here she has to have shoes." i'm sorry but that's just outrageous. Not only was she an infant in a car seat but this store doesn't have any kind of open food. I will not return to this store which is a shame because i've been shopping there since they've opened and usually have a good experience. For the last few months though, the people they hire are very rude, unprofessional and should not be working with the public. Not only
Have they lost my business, but my whole entire family is now refusing to go there. I have a lot of family. This cashier and other worker (a hispanic boy) should be fired. They literally were screaming at us. Any other place would fire them. I have half the mind to take it to the media. Have them do a report on employees not trained properly on how to handle children.
Customer service.. Plus
I am visiting up from Tennessee and I have never in my experience of shopping at Dollar Tree.. have I seen such business.. Today October 20, 2018.. first how the employee let a group of pre-teens/teenagers (girls) run around the store playing running hard around other shoppers. Then get to checkout.. which was crowed and only two lines open.. and one...
Read full review of Dollar Treedirty bathroom
The bathroom at this store is disgusting. First of all it stinks time you walk in it. Then you notice that it looks like they are using it for storage. And thats not even the worst part. There has been a smear of poop on the wall for about a year now. It looks like someone would have cleaned it up in a years time. I have been to many dollar trees. And this is the only one that is not usable. It is not fit for a dog to use!
store
The store in Mountain Home Idaho 83647 is absolutely filthy. They have had boxes of decorations on the floor for a month now. One the girls (Elizabeth) was complaining about all the holiday decor a few weeks ago and didn't want to deal with it anymore, she said I'm over it and don't care. In the mean time your inventory is still packed up in boxes on the floor in the main show room. The rest of the store also seems to be in shambles. The floors need vacuumed and much more. It smells dirty and looks dirty.
cashier confused on how to split transactions
Cindy, the cashier, told me that I could not split my transaction, even though I've done it before and at this location. I kept telling her the amounts and she wouldnt listen and talked over me. This will be my last visit to this location. I watched her type in the amount I needed for the first split of transaction and after it didn't work (mind you, I had plenty of money on my cards), she got frustrated and said it couldn't be done.
reusable bag policy
I was just at the Brooklyn store at 1726 McDonald Avenue. First of all the store in always in a state of disarray. There are always big pallets of merchandise blocking the aisles. Which makes it very difficult to shop with a shopping cart and makes you not want to purchase more than necessary items. This has not been the first time, especially in this store, where the store is a mess and very unwelcoming. Then when you get to the check out and hand the cashier your own reusable shopping bags, you are told, that they can not pack any bags that do not come from the store. This policy is absolutely ridiculous. In this day and age, you should be welcoming people to be using their own shopping bags, not punish them by having to pack our own bags. I keep telling myself that this is the last time I am shopping at this location and I always go back, unfortunately. However, there is nothing in that store that is worth this much aggravation.
dirty store, shelves not stocked
The floors are always dirty, shelves not stocked, boxes of products in the aisles. Every customer that entered the store complained of the same issues. I spoke to the cashier and she blamed it on the customers even though this was in the morning. She even had the audacity to say it was because of where the store is located. I don't appreciate this comment since this is in my neighborhood. Even told me the Family Dollar Store looks like this also. It is like this every time I am in the store. I travel several miles to go to a different store even though this store is close to my house. I know of a lot of customers who have registered complaints and nothing is ever done.
on line order pickup at store
I had received my pick up order notice from Dollar Tree. I went to the store to pick-up my order that I had placed on line.
The clerk let another employee know and they said:
"YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT I AM ON BREAK"
We made a purchase, waited in line, not long but we did not rush. After we paid for our items the clerk (the same clerk) took the printed confirmation of the order that we took with us to the store to the preivious employee who said she was on break, AGAIN we were told we would have to wait a little longer becasuse she was still on break.
This is not good customer service. IThis is not how this should of been handled.
I will not be going to this store again.
I would like a full refund. My order number is EC7784237, RECEIPT NUMBER IS 6028056. The order was placed on October 3, 2018. I went into the store around 8:15 on October 17, 2018 to pick up my order.

product I paid for is not at the store
I ordered 2 cases of the small martinellis cider online for store pick up. I received the email letting me know they were available to be picked up. I also saw the charge in my bank account. We went to the store with the skew from the email and they did not have our order, nor did they have any history of our order. I have since received a second email 'reminding me' to pick up my order. It is not there. I have called multiple times to your customer support number to get a refund, and each of the three times I have called I have been on hold for longer than 30 minutes without speaking to anyone. The order number for this first order, which needs to be refunded is EC7032920. Again, I would like a refund on this order.
I placed another order for martinellis and senorial, with a different pick up location hoping that it was just that location. I haven't received a pick up ready email for the second order and the date I need the drinks for is quickly coming. I would like to know when they will arrive at the store for pick up. The order number for this second order is EC9737782. Again, I would like to know when this order will arrive.
Thank you,

horrendous management customer service
I got into the checkout line. The manager was on her personal cell phone talking about something that had happened to someone. Apparently this person wasn't cooperating with the managers wishes. I believe the managers name was Trona. She was talking very loudly into her cell. At the same time she was checking the lady in front of me out. She had a $70 order, which for a dollar store is a pretty big order. Trona was on her cell the whole time. Whilst on the phone, the store phone rang. She answered it on the opposite side of her cell phone so she had both phones by her ears. She completed the order and practically yelled the total at the customer. The lady paid without a word and left. Trona rang up my 2 items and then promptly yelled at someone else working with her to get to their til so they could help customers. I promptly left. This isnt the first incident I have seen with this lady in particular. If the store wasn't so close to my home, I wouldn't even step foot in there when she in there. She is almost on her cell phone or she has people off the street helping her around the store or even just following her around so she can talk to them. She is always talking very loudly with an attitude of a spoiled child. I have witnessed her talking down to customers on multiple occasions. This is very aggravating. I absolutely love Dollar Tree but this store in particular needs to seriously rethink their choices in management. She is making the whole company look bad. I sincerely hope this complaint is heard and dealt with immediately. I know I am not the only one that has had issues with her.
DT doesn't read this site. Besides most employees are only there for a paycheck.
