You should find another job. There's no set days off in retail.

Dollar Tree being over charged without refund

My husband went into the store to buy a magic washcloth. The cashier charged him for two when he only had one. When we asked for our money back for the product we didn't even purchase the store manager refused and said that they did not do returns. We were not trying to return a product we just wanted the money we were charged when we didn't buy the product.

Dollar Tree ear swabs

I bought at your store in Sarasota, Fruitville Rd. a round plastic box with all white ear swabs. No name on the container. After using several of them over the time last week 1 cotton end came off in my ear. I was hoping it will come out by itself, but it didn't. I tried to retrieve it, but it went deeper inside. I had to visit an ear doctor to get it out and had to pay $ 104.00. I'm using ear swabs for 60 years now and never had this problem before.
I ask you to reimburse me the $ 104.00 for the doctors visit.

Dollar Tree manager harassing employee

I was a customer at the dollar tree in wellsburg wv. I witnessed the manager named Melanie being very verbal abusive to one of her employees and made her cry. The employee then ran to the back of the store so she didn't cry in front of customers. The manger Melanie asked her employee to unpack boxes in the back. The employee simply said I wish I could get paid more for how hard I work jokingly. The manager then proceeded to yell at her with profanity and told her she was worthless and made her cry. I witness this manger yelling profanity at her employees almost every time I go into that store. This manager should be fired for the way she talks to her workers.

Dollar Tree customer service

October 2, 2018
I ordered something for a women's event in my church and when I realized it was not going to arrive on time I called the number on the tracking site to cancel the order.
The order clearly had not shipped (It is bad enough that dollar tree does not give cash for returns) however I was told that if the product had not shipped it was possible to cancel the order.
I called...and waited...if fact I waited for 2 hours and 15 minutes for someone to answer..with the exception of hanging up and calling back immediately to push #1 thinking if I was going to make an order someone would pick up...NO they did not!
So I decided to wait it out and just hold until someone answered the phone. I think. You need to change the message that says someone available 24/7...unless you mean you would have to hold for 24 hours. I spoke to Natalie Carrington (who was nice enough) and she told me she canceled the order. I asked if I would receive an email confirming the cancellation and would the money be put back into my bank. I was told by Mrs Carrington that she could not send me an email but that one would be sent. I am still waiting for the email. If my money does not appear back into my account within the next week I will seek further help. My email is [protected]@gmail.com I would appreciate receiving an email confirming the cancelation of the order and a date when the money would be back in my bank

Dollar Tree unprofessional employee behavior

To Whom It May Concern:

I went to my local Dollar Tree on Sunday, September 30th at 7:50 pm. When I arrived a lady and her two children were checking out at the first register. I noticed as I walked toward the door, an employee unlocked the door to let the customers out. I was almost to the sidewalk, when the employee glanced at me and said we are closed. I said ma'am I thought you closed at 8. She wouldn't make eye contact with me, as she stated we do, but we are closed. She turned around without another word, still not looking at me, and locked the door in my face. I said wow to the other customer and she said I know. I began to walk off because I was very upset, but decided to go back. I went to the door and knocked loudly several times. Three employees were working from what I could see. The male employee was directly in front of me at the first display, a lady was at the register closest to the door, and the woman, who spoke to me, was sweeping at the end of that register. No one acknowledged my knocking, so I kept on. Finally the man looked at me and I said I want to know her name. He smiled at me then walked over to tell her something. The woman came toward the door and I was able to see her nametag said Gail. I said Gail I just needed your name. I went back to my car very upset because I felt humiliated. Not only was I disrespected, but it occurred in front of other employees and customers for no reason. While I was sitting in my vehicle, three more customers came to shop and left because the doors were already locked. I left Dollar Tree and went to Dollar General, where I spent $101.00 on the items I planned to buy at Dollar Tree. I know employees want to go home at quitting time, but the unprofessional way the employee handled the situation was unnecessary.  Normally, employees inform you that the store will be closing in 10 minutes when you come in, not lock the door in your face. I live 5 minutes from this store and shop there often, but I am not sure I will be doing so in the future. I would appreciate any feedback concerning my complaint. My e-mail address is [protected]@yahoo.com and my phone number is [protected].  Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Robyn Watson Camp

Dollar Tree appearance

Your Dollar Tree at 4 Cedar Radial Pass, Ocala, FL 34472 is filthy inside out. There is garbage all over and around the parking lot. The inside is not much better. Cups, boxes, bags, chicken bones, resembles a recycling center. Please hire a manager with some good, strong, clean ethical morals. Have your lazy staff go outside and clean this pig sty up. Please.

Dollar Tree about a manager at the location 5670 jacksonville fl

Ive gone to that location alot. The operation manager Anne is a sweet heart. Just about all the cashiers are also nice but not all of them. The store manager Luis is very rude and disrespectful to customers and the employees. With him being a store manager you would think that he would be very respectful. Today 10/2/2018 around 1:40pm, I went in to the store to buy a few items and saw the store manager Luis being very disrespectful to Anne in front of employees and customers. I felt like she was being verbally assaulted by Luis. He didnt seem to care that customers where seeing and hearing all of this. Being a store manager he is suppose to set an example to his employees. Anne has been very sweet and always helpful to all the employees and customers. He does this to her in front of customers who is not to say that hasnt done that to other employees or to customers. As long as he is a store manager at this location i will not be going back. I was very appalled at what i had to see today and it broke my heart. She was almost in tears and shaken. Employees should always feel comfortable and safe to go to work, they shouldnt have to feel uncomfortable to be at work.

Dollar Tree human resources/ company overall

Dollar Tree may be a bargain for customers but they do not know how to make sure their employees are taken care of. They have a high turn over rate simply because they pay little to nothing! We understand its part time but who wants to take a check home with a total of 27 for 2 weeks?!?!? Most of your stores are a complete mess in CERTAIN areas and they never have enough people working. Human resources picks and chose which situations they want to follow up on the company overall needs to be reported to BBB Asap

Dollar Tree cleanliness of the store

I patronize the Dollar Tree Store on Sibley Blvd, in Calumet City, Illinois. The store is filthy. The shelves are full of dust, the floors need vacuuming., the washroom is filthy.

The areas around the cash registers are junky. The shopping carts and baskets are filthy. As a customer, I believe I deserve better than this when shopping. Many of the Dollar Tree stores that I visit in Illinois are in the same terrible shape.
The personnel are attentive, they do not allow the lines to become long without attending to the customers.

Dollar Tree employees

Today 2 employees at the register got into a verbal argument that was very loud, I mean screaming loud. You could hear it across the store.
The customers felt very uneasy and some left.
The other employees looked very embarrassed.

It was all about who works the hardest and longest.
This should be done behind closed doors.
It was about 11:30 10/01/18. Older male and older female with short red hair.

Dollar Tree rude manager and refusal to sell products already rung up

This in in regards to Store #2004, 416 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse NY

I wanted to purchase some Halloween solar items and along with the one you stake into the ground, found packages of solar items that are in a protective plastic case. When I took my 7 items up, the cashier gave me a total of $3.24... then questioned why the low price. She called up the manager who said that those in the plastic case came up as 1 penny and were not to be sold to me - even though the sale was complete and the cashier had our money in her hand. I was told that these items were to be sent back to corporate and he didn't know why they were put out. I said that were in multiple locations - the manager was very rude and refused to allow me to take these items. He took over the register, voided the sale and ran up my other 3 items. I was under the impression that once a sale is made, the customer has the right to pay for the items. He gave some excuse as to the longevity of the battery since it was last year's item. Um, I have a huge supply of these that I pull out from year to year for various holidays and have had no problems with "the battery".

Dollar Tree 6762 store condition

I have photos from the condition of store # 6762, Ormond by the Sea store.
I cannot believe no one has slipped on cardboard, no one has gotten hurt on product on the floor.
I have complained about the general manager before and nothing gets done. She is rude to customers. Her employees sit around when the lines are long.
I have gone in seeing managers sitting down doing nothing while the cashiers are backed up. There were a few good managers but I haven't seen them, they may have left due to treatment.
I needed detergent yesterday, shelves were nearly empty. I bought a pack of candy and it had been melted and put on the shelf.
I am disgusted with the way this store looks and the management.
I will drive out of the way to go to a nicer store

Dollar Tree employees and district manager stolen bank deposits

This incident happened during the month of August of 2018 and before that. This company needs to deal with their employees when it comes to theft. Especially when their district manager Sharon Coronado knew everything that was going on with the missing deposits that the previous manager Luis Vejara took. She knows about three bank deposits that he didn't take in to the bank and if I am not mistaken it adds up too at 5, 000. She was quick to tell on him and blame the other associate Bella, that she made him do it. But in reality she allowed him to do whatever with the store because she was having an affair with this manager. Luis has pictures of her doing sexual things to him. She was so quick to tell on him but did not mention to Melvin or corporate that she was involved and she knew he was stealing money from Dollar Tree. Sharon Coronado is not what she seems to be no one know the real her. She practically stole from this company and is getting away with it when she should be dealt with and let go from this company. She treats her associates badly downgrades them and talks about them behind their backs. These employees work their butts off to where she don't even acknowledge them. She is very aggressive does not train her assistant or managers and expects them to know everything. She complains about how the store is and mind you the store was a mess and everything was already in places where it shouldn't have been when Luis was there. Now shew blames her associates for his wrong doings. Sharon is very rude and she just needs to be let go from this company and this company needs to know what she knew about Luis and what she allowed him to do at the store like pay people for working over night and how he would pay them with the money from the store safe and the deposits and why didn't she mention any of this to Melvin or corporate because she tried covering her butt. Associates Tina Garza and Arturo Reyna are two associates are currently working still and they take in counterfeit money to the store and exchange for the real money. Sharon knows about this because Luis mentioned it to her and she still has them working there. Why who knows. Tina Garza allows Arturo Reyna to come to the store and stock but from other employees what he does is make a mess and mixes the items and puts them where they don't belong so its harder for the stock team to stock and recover. He also sells narcotics from the store to the homeless and Tina Garza knows of it as well. Those two associates get away with so much and blame others for their problems. So the corporate office needs to do something about these associates and their district manager Sharon. They have gotten away with a lot already please put a stop to them. All this is happening at store number 05591 San Antonio TX 78201 Fredericksburg Rd store number [protected].

Dollar Tree closing early

I've come to the Dollar Tree in Pawleys Island twice in two days before closing time but they had the doors locked and would not let anyone in. This is ridiculous. It's 8:45 and they close at 9 and yes I'm aware that's cutting it close but come on. There's still 15 minutes before 9! That's plenty of time for me to run in and grab balloons before closing. Absolutely ridiculous.

Dollar Tree false advertising

I have a complaint about the Advertising at all of your stores indicating that you are "hiring for part-time" "immediate hiring for assistant manager", etc. My boyfriend went into one of your stores here in Clearwater, FL, clearly displaying signs stating that you were hiring, and filled out an application. A few days later, he went to the Manager to return the application who told him, "oh they are not hiring right now?" I found this odd since your signs say otherwise. Then this week, we were shopping in the Dollar Tree on Highland Avenue in Clearwater which also has signs up stating that you are hiring. When I asked the store clerk, she asked the Manager, who said they were not hiring either. When I asked her what stores were hiring, she couldn't tell me that either. I find this as a serious case of "False Advertising", and in my opinion is completely unacceptable. Your stores should not advertise hiring when you are not. I would appreciate an explanation regarding this.
