My name is Leslie Gray and my Son is Walter Sartin he is a Firestone card holder. My son's number is [protected]. My number is [protected] my Email is [protected]@gmail.com.
We Took car to firestone to have them replace car battery 8/19/2022 that was still under warranty. Firestone kept car for 10 days. Firestone performed faulty and unnecessary diagnostic. When we got car back from Firestone on 8/29/22 Techs had screwed up electrical system. Air conditioner did not work, power windows, power seat, power trunk lock, head lights did not work.
Firestone gave us a bill for $364.95 after having screwed up a simple battery replacement.
We had to take car to Nalley Chevrolet and pay $151.51 to have Nalley correct the problems that Firestone had created. It took Nalley Chevrolet less than 2 hours to find and correct the problem,
Firestone tech left all screws on Battery fuse Block loose and not making proper contact. Car run find now that Firestone errors were corrected.
We want money back from Firestone $364.95 and $151.51 we paid to Nalley Chevrolet to correct Firestone's screw-up.
Desired outcome: We want our money back from Firestone $364.95 and $151.51 we paid to Nalley Chevrolet to correct Firestone's screw-up.

The battery had been was supposed to be under warranty and the service advisor tells me it's not first he couldn't find that I even had bought a battery from them at. And he was very rude threw the whole process just being super fauge and not giving me any details unless i special ask the question. And he had give me a hard time on the phone as well. But he...

Between 8/8 and 8/10, I dropped my vehicle, a Lexus GX 460 off at the Getwell location to have some work done on the brakes and rotors. After I drove off the parking lot my brakes immediately started to scrub and make even louder noises. Also while I was driving I could still here scrubbing in the wheels. I spent basically 1300 dollars to have the issue resolved but it was only worse when they finished it. I did not want to go back because I felt like they could not resolve this issue plus they had already had my truck for the second day. I had to drive it a little more than a week before I could get it into Lexus and let them have a look at it and they literally had to do rework on the brakes and rotors that Firestone said that they had done the work on. I had to spend another 2200.00 dollars for Lexus to fix the problem and now I don't hear any scrubbing sounds. I would really like reimbursement from Firestone for the work that they claim they did. I have all the paper work stating what was done and what it cost from Both Firestone and Lexus. I would have felt better if they had told me that they couldn't do the work.
Desired outcome: Refund
Damage to my car
In Aprill 2022 I took my car to the Leilani Lane Firestone center (Tucson, AZ). I was totally satisfied with the work performed. However, when the technician was moving my car from the bay, he hit a stack of tires and damaged the right front quarter panel. I filed info with Kolby McKinney, it the claims department. He wanted me to sign a release stating...

I purchased a new set of Firestone tires in 2019. I was told they are a new model. They are a 65,000 mile tire. 36297 miles later they need to be replaced. They are on my wife's care. she does not drive aggressively. We purchased a lifetime front end alignment for the 2012 Lexus ES350. We rotate every oil change. We have documentation for the rotation.
I asked for a replacement tire bid from Firestone. I was given a bid to replace the used tires. Costco beat the bid. I purchased a superior tire with superior warranty.
I am skeptical that Firestone can sell me a quality tire, so I purchase a replacement set from Costco. I am told by the Firestone store manage that there is nothing they can do to compensate me for the 28,703 miles that we did not utilize on the 65,000 mile tire. I have been told by several tire experts that the Firestone weathergrip tires do not wear well.
I have been a long time Firestone customer. I have purchased many tires from Firestone. I expect some time of compensation for the lack of warranty usage that we did not realize on the set of Firestone Weathergrip tires. I would like to do business with Firestone again in the future. The Firestone service center is in Urbandale, Iowa. Manager's name is Matt.
Your thoughts please
Desired outcome: I need to be fairly compensated for the amount of tire warranty not realized.
Tire swap rims scratched
Tuesday 8/30/2021 at 10 AM I had fire stone swap tires for me and when I got the car back I noticed that three of the four rims were scratched and I know the damage was not there before because I wipe my rims clean at least once a week! the manager Chad told me that there is no way his tire machine could have made those scratches and there was nothing he can do I just paid $1000 for these rims four months ago and I need something to be done!
Desired outcome: I would like the rims replaced

I took my car into the Laguna Hills Mall Firestone on August 4, 2022. They were to put in a torque converter in my 2012 Toyota Camry. My Camry had a shutter problem that is known to exist my most mechanics. There were no other transmission problems other than the shudder. When I picked the car up a few days later, I immediately knew something wrong. There were unusual sounds coming from the drivers side of the car near the transmission area. I headed to Walmart and the car stalled at a traffic light. Alarmed I went right back to Firestone. The fella at the front desk got into the car and he heard the noise. I went back the following morning and told Dave about the problem. He got in the car with me and heard the unusual noise. He told me not worry. In a couple days I became more concerned because while driving the car would seem jerk while driving. I went back to Firestone and had Dave, and the Tech that worked on my car named Mando, drive with me. They felt the jerking and heard the unusual noise. I told Dave that I had two concerns, one that I was concerned about a possible accident and also that whatever was going on with my car could result in additional damage far and beyond the torque converter. Dave said not to worry and that was very unlikely anything that worried about would occur. The next day while driving to work as soon as I got on to the freeway, the started to lose all power to propel itself. To get the car back to Firestone I had to rev the engine much higher than normal. I barely got it into the Firestone parking, and the car lost all ability to propel itself forward.
Desired outcome: For Firestone to assume all responsibility and get my car into working condition ASAP. It has been nearly a month, and my car is still at the Firestone shop an no one has done anything to fix the problem.
AC repair
Invoice # 181947 Store 321991
I had an AC Compressor replaced here. The manager called back and said what it would cost and I gave him the go ahead. Then he asked if I wanted the warranty. I asked how much and he stated it was over $800 more. What kind of business does not warrant their work or parts?
Found out later from a friend of mine was that what the manager failed to tell me was that the warranty involved replacing the accumulator and switch. That information was never told to me.
To boot, I never signed off on the receipt. He signed it.
What kind of service are you all performing?
You can guarantee I'll never take my vehicle to Firestone again and never refer anyone. The only solace I have is that whenever people complain about auto repair I have a true story that is hard to believe.
I also noticed you do not permit bad reviews on your FB page. Figures.
Desired outcome: At least warrant the new compressor that was installed.
1205 ALENZA AS ULTRA BL 255/50R19 XL107W
I purchased 4 new tires for my 2018 Mercedes on May 23,2022 from Firestone in Riverhead, NY at a total cost of $1,697.93 which included the Road Hazard Protection Plan. On a recent trip to Vermont, we had the sidewall of the tire pierced by an object in the road rendering the tire not safe to drive. We were in Wells Vermont and went to the one place in the area for a new tire. There were no Firestone Dealerships close to the area and the tire was not safe to drive on.
The tire was replaced at a cost of $322.80 and we feel we should be reimbursed for this amount. We spoke to Riverhead Firestone who referred us to you. Please advise what we need to do to be reimbursed. Thank you!
Desired outcome: Receive a check for $322.80

Took my vehicle in for a simple tire alignment, should take nothing, right? She told me they might be able to get it in early, if not then in the morning. So I dropped the car off. Well, I go get it 10 45 a. m next day, not only is my car left unlocked, but also parts stolen off it. Employee really had the nerve to tell me, after all was said and done. It happened to the same model, weeks before, same parking lot. Said it sucks, and you weren't gonna cover it. What customer service right off the bat! Tell me it happened to the same car? Leave my car unlocked ontop of that? Im out a whole car right now, due to a tire alignment.
Desired outcome: Replacement of my 02 sensor, catalytic converter.

It's really sad when you talk to the manager and even, they can't accept their own error in communication. You go over everything you need to, make sure they have the product, make sure they can install it. They are the ones who tell you when they will have the product in their hands and when you can come down for the install. But once you get there at the time they say. Oh, they don't have an appointment schedule, nor did they said they would have. When you confirmed and spoke to them multiple times to ensure all was okay. Never did they say, I am not sure when the product would be here, nor do I have any appointments available at the time I told you to come by. They said the product should be her before noon and to come down around noon so we can take care of you. You show up and first your told product not there then you told you don't have an appointment. When you complain you find out the person you were talking to be the manager after all, and HE says he didn't confirm anything -- Really. Own up to the miscommunication and fix the problem -- Don't make the customer feel or think they are the crazy one when in fact you just didn't communicate well.
Desired outcome: I want people and companies to stand behind their word and / or admit their communication skill that day was bad.
Service at Firestone Complete Auto Care, 2545 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA
I purchased a contract with Firestone years ago for my 1985 Toyota Truck to have the wheels rotated, balanced and alignment. Later I purchased another contract for my new 1999 Toyota Avalon. Then another for my 2003 Toyota Tundra truck. I made an appointment to have my Toyota Tundra serviced a few months ago. After 3 hours I was told the work was done and given a list of items (battery, fuel filter, etc) that needed repair or replacement. When I looked at the truck I realized the tires were not rotated. They agreed to take it in and do the work. We waited on site and when completed took the truck to my own battery shop where I was told there was nothing wrong with the battery despite what Firestone had said about it needing to be replaced. I then took it to my own mechanic who said none of the repair items on the list from Firestone needed to be done. He also mentioned that particular Firestone was well-known for those tactics. Yesterday, I had an appointment to have the Avalon tires rotated, balanced and alignment done (Work Order 256986). I turned the vehicle in at 11:15a.m. for my 11:30 a.m. appointment. I was told 2 hours so I went to grab some lunch. When I returned 2 hours later, the car was still in the place I had initially parked. Checking in at the counter I was told "emergencies" had come up and they weren't able to get to our car. I personally believe this was done on purpose because I do not get work done at that Firestone other than what the contract was purchased for - wheel rotation, balance and alignment. I did not even get an apology. I took the car and left.
Desired outcome: You need to be aware of this treatment. Please make sure the purchased contracts are honored for customers with appointment times and not allow "emergencies" to go ahead or get in the way of previously scheduled appointments.
Car
On 08/19/2022 I went to Firestone at this address: 2299 140th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98005 to get my brake fluid drained out and put new fluid in. When the worker came out he told me that there were other things wrong with the car like wheel aligning, brake padding, and a lot of internal issues when it came to the coolant, brake aligning, amongst other things. He ends up showing me a list of the things that need to be fixed and everything comes out to over $6,000. I’ve had my car for five years and I’ve never been charged that much to get my car fixed. So right there I knew he was trying to con me out of my money. Also, I asked him again if he can drain my old oil and put new in and then he tries to tell me that he can’t because it would be better to change the whole break system completely. What the [censored]? As he tells me that my car needs an oil change I agree to get it fixed and he happily agrees, then he comes out 20 minutes later and tells me that he can’t do it because he would need to do the other things that are over $6,000 to do my oil change, so he won’t be able to do my oil change. He was [censored]ing lying to me. Not only that, but when I called him out on his [censored] by questioning why all of a sudden he can’t do my oil change, after telling me that he could, he tries to dance around answering the question and he tried to come up with an excuse as to why he couldn’t do it and then he tried to gaslight and manipulate me by saying he could’ve charged me the $50 to change my oil. [censored], I wanted my oil change and now you’re trying to gaslight me into believing that I should be thankful that you didn’t give me an oil change?! What the [censored]? I also asked him if he could take pictures of what he said about the parts of the steering system that were broke and he used the excuse that since the car was already off the stretcher that he wouldn’t do it. I told him I had my phone that he could use to take pictures either now or next time I come in and he responded in a way that he wouldn’t be able to do it then either. What a liar. Don’t go to this one. They’re con artist.
Desired outcome: I don’t need a refund because I didn’t move forward in paying over $6,000 to get my car fixed. I’m bringing important awareness to the fact that this Firestone tried to con me out of my money by lying and trying to manipulate me.

Wheel bearing replacement caused the lost of one of my lug nuts as well as my hub cap.
To whomever it may concern:
My name is Kow Nai Saechao (Max)
On the date of 08/03/22, I had my wheel bearing replaced at one of your establishments located at 1001 Hilltop Mall Rd., Richmond, CA. 94806
The repair was performed by technician "28, Cesar" on the front passenger side of my 2008 Toyota Tacoma. Days later, while traveling on the road, one of my lug nuts came off which caused me to lose my hub cap as well. In addition, my 4 wheel drive feature will no longer engage. As I called in to express my concern with store manager "Julius", he stated that it was my fault that both items came loose and had been lost and that it has nothing to do with them that the 4 wheel will not engage. Upon further discussion with Julius, he asked me to bring my vehicle in for further inspection. to elaborate a little more on the situation. I've had my vehicle for 14 years and have never experienced this type of issue. My main concern now is that your company will not take disciplinary action against such a hostile employee. Let me explain, Julius speaks to customers as if he hasn't a care of what our concerns may be. Upon completion of his inspection, he proceeds to tell me that he would be willing to replace the lug nut, but in his words, " I don't care about your hub cap". I proceeded to tell Julius that I payed $600 and if there's nothing that FIRESTONE can or is willing to do, then I don't want to, but I will make this a legal matter and file a lawsuit for a sum much larger than the initial cost of the repair. Julius's response is as follows, "GO AHEAD". I then asked if he's the manager, Julius replies " yes, I am the BOSS". I asked for his name and he aggressively hands me his card and says " HERE YOU GO". Is this what Firestone customer service is? An agitated, aggressive employee that has no worry or care for customer concerns and experience? I have been a loyal customer to your company for as long as I've had my vehicle, 14 YEARS! In my 60 years on this earth, I have never had an experience as traumatic as this one. I left with confusion, hurt, anger and displacement in my heart and mind. I am a GOD fearing man and not someone who likes to take advantage of others. I live my life based on human kindness and fairness for the fellow man. In conclusion, I hope that Firestone/ Bridgestone can help find a solution to this matter. Otherwise, I will have no options left, but to report to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and as stated earlier, will reach out to my lawyer to pursue a lawsuit. Included below is my email address.
[protected]@gmail.com
Desired outcome: All I would like to happen is to have my lug nut replaced, my hub cap replaced and my 4 wheel drive back to working condition as it was before this incident. I would also like a formal apology from "JULIUS THE BOSS".
2003 Ford Windstar Brake Job
I brought my sons car into the Clermont Firestone on 08/05/22 because the brake light was on and it was making a clunking noise when he was making a left turn. After them keeping the car for 2 days and charging me $2,059.59 for a brake job the brake light is still on and the vehicle is still making the clunking noise. He brought the car back Saturday morning the 13th and they told me they needed it over night because the brake specialist was there on Sunday. After no call on Sunday I called them and was told No Brake Specialist comes in on Sunday and it was coming up with ABS Faults on the computer and the noise was probably the struts.. OKay so why didn't they find this out the week before and why was all the other work or was all the other work done on the vehicle. I feel that they totally ripped me off on the work they did on my sons vehicle if they did any work at all. AS IT IS STILL DOING THE SAME THING AS WHEN WE BROUGHT IT IN IN THE FIRST PLACE
Desired outcome: I would like to receive a refund for the supposed brake job done that was charged to my tires plus credit card
Customer service and negligence
I made an appt for 4/21 at the Roanoke Rapids, NC location. I made it clear that I needed to be the first for whatever day I was given because I work for the state and had to be at work by 10. The scheduler gave me a time for 730. I arrived at 725 and was the first one to enter the business. About 5 minutes later a Caucasian woman entered and checked in. The person at the counter pulled this persons car first. The woman looked at me and said this was not fair and how could they pull her car when I was here first. I went to the counter to ask the man and told him I scheduled this time so I could be to work on time. He stated, "yeah and everybody else has somewhere to be too so go sit your [censored] down and let me do my job". I told him that I had never been treated this way at any Firestone establishment before and he continued to say, "let me do my damn job". I received the service because we were going out of town the next day and I was pushed for time. I have made at least 20 calls in regards to this matter and was promised several calls back. I have a demanding schedule and have even provided my schedule times to be called with complete failure. Is this how you all conduct business?
Desired outcome: Apology, Refund, or just a few words that someone there cares about your African American customers because this was clearly discrimination. email: p.[protected]@gmail.com
