Samsung range oven
Unfortunately, here we go again! We purchased five (5) Samsung top of the line appliances (washer, dryer, stove/oven, microwave and refrigerator) from Lowes in 2020. We also purchased five (5) year warranties on each appliance. The first problem we had was with the dryer and it not providing heat. It took over a month to get repaired as we were stood up twice (with a twelve-hour window each time) by the Assurant assigned repair provider. It wasn't until my husband went directly to the Lowes in which we purchased the appliances to verbally, vehemently complain. Finally, the Lowes manager was able to have Assurant let us find a qualified, licensed top rated repair person to repair our dryer. It took him a total of two days to diagnose the problem and obtain the part to repair. Now the oven is longer providing heat. I contacted the warranty company Assurant via the website and obtained a confirmation number and was told I would hear from the repair company within a couple of days. Now two weeks later and another call to Assurant we have heard NOTHING from a repair person! I have food rotting in my refrigerator now without an oven! Please help! I would be able to find someone as I had to do with the dryer repair to have repaired but need written confirmation from Assurant to proceed with contact. I would appreciate an email confirmation as soon as possible to assist me. I am a senior citizen who is on a restricted diet due to my cancer and need to have an oven! I am very disheartened by the POOR service on the Extended Warranty Plan. When calling in, the connection sounds like it is at a call center in another country! I requested service over the phone for the icemaker on 3-06-23. I was told a rep would be out on Wed, 3-08-23. No one came. No one called. On 3-13-23 I placed another call. Was told someone would come out of 3-15-23. No one came. No one called. When I voiced my concerns on 3-13-23, I was told three things: 1) that there was no Order in the system 2) that the order was "not pushed through"; and 3) that there was an Error indicating "failure." Who sees those Errors? Who goes back to make sure that simple things like this do not happen? All I heard was "i'm so sorry, I'm so sorry." Me, too! I expressed that I wanted this matter to be "addressed" so that no other customer would think they have an appt; but on the Back End, the appt was never made! The Service Repair company never received the request for service. We purchased TWO side-by-side Whirlpool refrigerators. Lowe's received our money, but there is such POOR warranty service, you may as well not have any warranty plan at all! That's fraud and you need to FIX IT!. Last year, the service rep came but did not return. When we called back we were told his report stated that the work had been completed! It was great to have another rep from a different service company come out, but my Goodness, what happened with that? Washer delivery/hook-up
On 11/28/22 the Midea Washer/Dryer Combination that I purchased from Lowes was delivered and hooked up at my home. On December 20, 2023 I found water rapidly running from the washer onto the laundry room, kitchen and dining room floors. (I have photos of this)I immediately called Lowes Customer Care and a technician came to my home on 12/22/22. He advised that a mistake had been made when the machine was originally hooked up-the technician did not put a clamp on the hose that was attached to the washing machine so there was nothing to stop it from coming off. In addition he showed the top hose where he advised that the hook up person made a mistake and had not put the clamp in the correct position to keep it in the drain-he pointed and said its too far back to keep the hose in. (I have photos of this). IThe next day the machine was making unusual noise so I called them back out. The technician advised there was water in the bottom of the machine from the spill and he would recommend they replace the machine. I now have over $3,500 in water damage to my home that happened three days before Christmas (the holidays -Imagine my devastation). Lowes contracts with UST Transport, an independent company, for their delivery service. The claims specialist did absolutely nothing to completely investigate be she said the technicians had not responded to her request for statements from them as to what occurred. She advised she could not find any notes from the technicians to support my reports. She previously admitted seeing a note about replacement of the washer. I found out from a Lowes manager that the delivery/hook-up team that caused the problem work for UST and she had made no attempt to contact anyone for facts. My home has been destroyed during the biggest holiday season-I had water floating, stinking and a real mess that kept me from inviting anyone to my home. After months of frustration, cursing, crying, depression and just utter disbelief - how did this happen, all I did was purchase my first W/D combo from Lowes and now I'm in a nightmare and nobody at Lowes cares. Customer Cares did not take proper care of me. Why would I do that. i purchased a set No Lowes-
Take both pieces and refund the total amount so I can purchase a combo! They accepted no responsibility for their contracted installer. They offered to pick up the machine, give me a full refund but they cannot guarantee I can get the same washer when I try to buy one that matches the dryer. On 2/2/23, She denied the claim indicating that I had no proof that something happened during the period between delivery/hook-up and the water damage on 12/20/22. She advised I contact my homeowners and that I could get attorney to file a Small Claim against them. I cannot afford to hire an attorney-and why should I have to! I filed a homeowners claim because I owe Pro Care for the restoration $3,218.97 for the drying work performed to make my home livable. On 3/20/23-my insurance company advised this settlement. $3,218.97-$1,000 (deductible)=$2,218.97, leaving me a balance to be paid to Pro-Care. How is this-all I did was purchase a new W/D. I have no money to hire an attorney and I have no money to restore my home to where it was before the bad delivery/hook up. In addition, My disabled adult son's Power Lift Recliner's electrical box got flooded from the water. He can only be out bed when he is in this chair. the chair no longer works and must be included in this claim so it can be replaced immediately. He has not been up to his out of bed since December and he cant until Lowes does the right thing and gest another one ASAP. In July 2022 I installed a Lowes exclusive laminate floor that cost me $600 for the flooring and $300 for installation. Pro Care's estimate covers the replacement of about two thirds of the floor. I am devastated because I do not want a partial new floor - why should I? That was an out of pocket expense I want covered completely. I feel like a victim and I'm alone fighting a giant company that claims to provide great customers
care. Lowes has to be responsible for companies they contract with. UAT must take responsibility for individuals they send into consumers' homes and take responsibility for any damage they cause. I started a project to renew my kitchen/dining area, after the new floor I purchased matching dining room furniture and matching accessories, tables and wall art. The finish touch was the new first ever purchases in my lifetime washer/dryer combo only to be shocked to this nightmare. I have a witness to all of these occurrences in my home-he is the caretaker for my son. I am a 69 year old retired caretaker of a totally disabled double amputee adult son. I cannot afford to hire an attorney. I do not have money to pay the difference to Pro Care and will have to decide what repair work to allow them to complete so that I don't owe them when the work is complete. Why am I losing in this. Lowes and UST needs to restore my home and assume some responsibility for the stress pain and suffering I have experienced since December 20, 2023. Please don't forget I live here and this has been Hell to live through and attempt to resolve. The general public needs to be aware of delivery people and know that Lowes does not deliver nor do they accept responsibility for your deliveries! I am a new Lowes customer. I chose to leave the other home improvement company to specifically make this purchase from Lowes. I am devastated and disappointed and saddened at the response I have received. Lawn mower - 3rd party delivery service for tennessee
We puchased a riding lawn mower and we were told it would be delivered Wednesday by the salesman, the time frame was from 8am to 8pm. So, we sit at home all day Wednesday waiting on delivery. No delivery so I checked the computer and the Lowes notes and it had delivery would be Thursday beween 8am and 8pm. No delivery Thursday, so around 5pm we got a call from a lady from a 3rd party delivery service from Lowes and she said the mower was not put together in time to get on the truck. She assured me the mower would be delivered Friday. Well, today our order was not showing on the system so I called the Lowes on Gunbarrel and it said my order was scheduled for Saturday. I asked to speak to the manager and Darus said he would check on it and let me know what was happening and call me back. Around 12:00 I called back and spoke to Darus and he said our delivery was scheduled for Saturday. The delivery service was not making deliveries to our zip code today. He said the reason he did not call me back was because the delivery service said they would call me and explain. I told him they told another lie, they had not called. I called the delivery service and they told me the delivery was scheduled for Saturday, I explained that we had been waiting at home since Wednesday. I also explained I had been in customer service for over 25 years and a customer had rather hear the truth about something being late that told a lie and it not being delivered. These lies have consumed our entire week. If they had been honest with the reason it would be delivered on Saturday we would have undersgtood, but telling us a lie and have us stay at home each day waiting on a delivery is horrible customer service. I called and tried to speak to a manager at the 3rd party delivery service and was put on hold and I finally hung up and called back and left a message and my number for a manager to call back. So far no phone call. Horrible customer service. Lowes needs to address this problem with this third party delivery.
Unfinished job/ falsified contract
On 8/25/2020 sales rep Chris McDonald in your Longview, TX store sold interior windows for my home in the amount of over $7000 dollars. He informed me that a contracted company would be coming out to install my windows. He also informed me that I would receive my contract via email and that never happened. When I contacted Chris in reference to my contract he informed me that I would have to go into the local store to pick that up. During the height of Covid that was not an option for me I contacted the store and they informed me that they would have it on file whenever I needed it. The contracted company sent out Julio who never completed the job. I contacted Tom Saco and Joshua from the company on several occasions within the year. They assured me that Julio would return and he never did. I contacted Julio several times throughout the months and calls were rejected. I went into Lowe’s after several months of no response and I was informed that my contract couldn’t be located. It has since been over the year for the warranty, and the windows have been paid for in full. I have contacted the ITS department and they also informed me that there was no contract. If the work has not been completed, but paid for, I feel as though Lowe’s should honor their work and complete my windows. Lastly, I will bring up how the representative by the name of Shakita falsified a contract with my name on it. My daughter, Krystal Sanders contacted her. She emailed my daughter a copy of a contract and added my daughters name to the contract. Lowes did not know my daughters name until she called to make a formal complaint with Shakita, my daughters name should never be on this contract. That is how I know these records were falsified, plus the contract should’ve been in my father's name who is a joint owner of the Lowe’s card that the windows were purchased through. Being that Lowe’s falsified documents, you will definitely have to see me in court.

Electric range
Improper/incomplete hook-up of an electric range. An electric range was delivered last Saturday. The driver failed to install an anti-tip bracket or level the range. He removed the existing anti-tip bracket. We have called the so-called Lowes "Customer Care" department four times and they have not responded nor resolved this issue. Terrible, terrible service. If and when the range tips over and injures someone and I sue Lowes perhaps then I will finally get some attention!

Employees made me remove my driver's license from my wallet to do a lowes return
I don't give my Driver License out except to my employer or the Gov't, or my SSN, but according to the internet articles from whatever source they come from, somebody's home most likely, criminal networks... whatever... but I think it is a violation of my rights to privacy and now any one of these non-professional giggling Lowes employees who are rude and demand that they see my license to do a simple return and I only do 1 or 2 returns a year at most or none most years. But, now the cashier girls can look up my personal background information on the internet and I don't think that is right as they being told to do this for their job by Lowes, so Lowes has not in the past years, 2022 and before ever asked me for my drivers license which has my address also, and these employees can look you up, but It is stressful and I am honest person, but the article says that Lowes is doing this to research if you are involved in doing Return Fraud, which I have never attempted to do, knowingly, or falsified any documents to do such a thing. In fact, I have been a victim of credit card theft with the GMCard in the 1990's, Visa. Anyway, they can sell my information or try to steal my bank account savings or credit score or other identity theft and they do not have the right to do so, and I should refuse, but then I won't get my refund. So, it is a violation of my right to privacy and I wll stop shopping at Lowes because of this policy change.
Visa and Mastercard purchases are supposed to not require a driver's license or SSN to do a return and one can refuse to give it, but you might not get returned your rightful return. It is an invasion of privacy and Lowes or any retailer are not the authority and never will be. They are just retailers. I should not have to give out my identity to complete strangers. I have a right to privacy of my driver's license number and as soon as I did it, I heard police sirens all over the place so there is something going on with these prying computers and identity theft. Licensed resellers... that all, not the gov't or the authority in charge. Demanding my license is a violation of my right to privacy for a transaction.
Desired outcome: Stop asking me for my driver's license, SSN #'s or Home address in the stores by untrained non-professional employees who demand to see it and emberrass me in the process in front of their fan club of customers.

It is 3-15-23 and I am still waiting after calling almost daily.
RXO Delivery is their 3rd party company. They do not answer their phone.
Lowe's customer care takes your complaint daily. They say you will hear from delivery people in 24-48 hours. I did receive one call from RXO at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning and missed the call. Really? That early with no call back and they do not answer their phone number that I was given.
It is now 3-15-23 and I am still waiting, still being lied to that it is coming "tomorrow".
Today, 3-15-23, I was told Corporate was getting involved and someone would call me in 4 hrs. I sat by the phone, no one called, and Customer Care had the nerve to say someone tried to call. NO, they didn't.
At this point, I am not sure if "tomorrow" is a pickup of broken washer or delivery of the replacement. Customer Care talks like it is one or the other.
I am beyond bitter over this incompetence.
Somebody, anybody, please straighten this mess out!
Washer & dryer purchase
On March 3,2023 my wife and I visited the Lowe’s location at 5520 Nolensville Pike in Nashville and ultimately purchased a washer and dryer transaction #[protected]. I have been a loyal customer of Lowes for years but this experience would end up being the worst example of customer service that I have ever had due to the following:
1.) We worked with the sales associate and identified the set that we wanted.
2.) I indicated to him that I was going to go across the street and purchase gift cards from Kroger to purchase the units in order to get fuel points so we determined the cost with tax such that I could purchase the cards.
3.) One would think that a prudent salesperson would make sure that the appliances were available prior to me purchasing the gift cards, but that did not happen.
4.) Much to my disappointment when I returned to the store, the sales associate informed me that the washing machine was out of stock and he had no idea when it would be available. The closest available unit was in Tullahoma but I would have to pay for them to bring it to us.
5.) After discussion with my wife, we settled on an alternate that we really did not want but had no choice since our unit at home was not operational.
6.) It doesn’t end there. During the transaction for the units purchased the sales associate began adding up items to hook up the units. I informed him that I had everything I needed and instructed him to delete those items. He indicated that the delivery company would not hook up the units with accessories furnished by me. I replied that I would hook the units up. The delivery company just needed to deliver the units and set them in place.
7.) Apparently the above information did not get relayed to the delivery company as they informed me that this was scheduled as a “drop ship” and they intended to drop these units in my garage un-packed. After a very spirited discussion with the delivery team, they finally consented to put the units in place and unpack them.
8.) During the above conversation the delivery team Informed me of the following:
a. They have a take one for one program which would not involve a fee, which would have saved me $80.
b. Their free installation includes hoses, electrical hook ups and dryer vent hoses at no cost.
c. They indicated that Lowes was aware of these benefits.
In conclusion, we are very disappointed with the service we received.

Worst delivery experience ever. Extremely unhelpful delivery service, who absolutely screens their calls against you. We ordered a new fridge through Lowes on Friday night. We signed up for Sunday delivery from 12-4. I had not heard from them by 3:45 so I called their delivery company and was told we were on the schedule for Monday from 8 to 8 and they had absolutely no record of us being signed up for Sunday. We were on the phone with them for hours, kept getting passed around from person to person, and got absolutely nowhere. With no way to prove we had actually signed up for Sunday delivery, they basically said there was nothing they could or would do. When they came the next day with the fridge, there was a snafu with the water line that connected to the old fridge, which the Lowes delivery man basically said we were screwed because we were going to get a flood, and they ended up leaving the new fridge and not taking the old one because it was still connected to the water line. A plumber (not Lowes associated) came out, who said we didn't actually have any water issues, and actually helped us hook up the new fridge. We then called Lowes delivery back to schedule a time for them to come pick up the old fridge. I called from the phone whose number was associated with the delivery order - and they disconnected me. Eight. Times. I used a different phone, and got in immediately. They "scheduled" me for a pick up of the old fridge today. But today, after not hearing anything at all from them about the actual time frame, I tried calling the delivery team back on my phone - and they immediately disconnected me again. Called from the different phone line, and again got through immediately. They did not even have us scheduled for the fridge pickup - at all. So we are currently still trying to get ahold of someone who will actually schedule pick up for this old fridge.
Desired outcome: We want this old fridge gone ASAP & at a time that is convenient for us since we have already had to rework our work schedules considerably, and to convey that delivery through Lowes is not a pleasant experience.
Dryer delivery and installation
Our experience happened in 2021, during covid. We ordered a Whirlpool dryer, scheduled delivery date and time and waited, we took a day off and waited all day, but they didn’t show up. We rescheduled after a long series of phone calls to customer service, it wasn’t an easy task because the wait times were just plain ridiculous. Finally, they arrived installed my Gas Dryer, technician told us the gas smell will disappear. We believed them, but it didn’t disappear, instead it worsened. My husband turned off the gas valve called again customer service, took me a week to get hold of them and finally after so much frustrations and complaints they finally corrected all the mishaps they created. Lowe’s third party delivery service XPO wasn’t even apologetic, didn't care and has no sense of even a tiny bit of remorse despite their technician placing my whole house in jeopardy. Suffice to say that, from a ranking of 0-10, their customer service is a 0 both for Lowes and XPO.
Lack of "Installations & Services"

Lowes Installation Rebate 2023
Purchased a Bosch Dishwasher online with installation. Made an online purchase because I didn't want to go into the store. Took Lowes about one month to install the dishwasher because they were behind with logistics. Applied online for the rebate while waiting for installation and it was found to be non compliance. Called the customer service number and was told to wait till after the installation and then it should go through. Reapplied after the installation and it was still denied. Not sure why Lowes offers an installation rebate if they won't even honor it. What other proof do they need that the dishwasher and installation were both purchased from Lowes?!
Desired outcome: Lowes would pay the Installation Rebate because the reason why I purchased the dishwasher from Lowes is because of the rebate being offered.
Product not delivery per schedule
We went to Lows home center at 151 EAST I-65 SERVICE ROAD SOUTH AL 36606. ORDER NUMBER [protected]...paid for a refrigrator on MAR/05/23..they scheduled to deliver the refrigrator on MAR/08/2023...I called all day on mar 08th to know what time the delivery will take place...they kept asking to to wait till 8pm,,, today(Mar/09/2023) i talked to the manager of the store and he told me the delivery was never scheduled..and now he gave a new schedule for saturday March 11 2023...this is ridiculous...I called all day on MAR 08th 2023 waited almost 30 min trying to talk to someone...so i went to the store and they had in their records that the refrigrator will be delivered on MAR 08 2023... This is so sad...We just moved to a new home in spanish fort so we went to Lows in spanish fort gave an order for a refrigrator and it came in damaged so we returned it...got a temporary small refrigrator for 272$ to keep our food stuf that needed cooling..so we went to lows at mobile to order a regular refrigrator...they scheduled for delivery for Mar 08 2023...It never came ... ..we are extreemely dissappointed ...we now do not have a refrigrator ...We are now hoping to have it on Mar 11 2023...this is so sad..never expected this type to treatment...we cant cook at home, myself wife and 2 kids have to eat out at restraunt coz we dont have a refrigrator to store food after cooking ...this is so dissapointing..Never thought buying a refrigrator will turn out to be a nighmare..
Customer service on the floor.
Never again will I ever go there again. I was looking for the latest Roku streaming device and checked the closest Lowe's in my area before driving there. I checked their inventory online so that my trip wasn't wasted. I was roughly 10 miles one way to the Lowe's in Weaverville, NC from my house. Their inventory showed 3 pieces. It also gave me the isle and subsection to find the item. When I arrived I went to the assigned area and wasn't able to find it. I asked a associate nearby for some help and he said without walking over to the section or looking it up on his phone he said " We must be out of stock if you didn't see it". I told him your online inventory for this item in this stoshows three pieces. He just quipped back saying " Then they must of been stolen", again without doing any physical looking. Ok, thank you I said. I been living in this area for almost 16 years and anything I needed for the home came from Lowe's. I now religiously shop at Ace Hardware. There selection may not be grand and prices are sometimes a little higher but I am always greeted at the door and the people are always willing to help regardless of any one of the 4 stores in my area. Washer and dryer install and delivery
on 2/24 I purchased a washer and dryer from Lowes due to the quickness of delivery and installation. on 2/25 the items were delivered which was fantastic! They arrive early at 10am. I was so excited. During the installation they told me they would be unable to hook up the dryer for me because the vent hose that Whirlpool required for the dryer didn't fit. The installer told me that I would need to return the part and hire a handman to complete the installation at a later date. I went to Lowe's to return the vent hose and was immediately met with three women at the customer service desk that were argumentative and dismissive. The customer service rep making the return and the rest standing around her told me that they would make sure I knew how to install the hose by myself. I made the return, and asked where the vent hoses would be located in the store. I was sent to isle 33 and told that an associate would be along shortly to help. I waited in isle 33 for more than a half hour and finally resorted to calling the store to let them know that I was still back there waiting for assistance. Someone arrived shortly after that and was incredibly patient and helpful. They reassured me and I went to purchase my new vent hose. I got up to the front desk and began to check out when I explained that I did not feel confident in completing this task by myself. The now alone customer service rep asked why I would be completing it by myself to which I explained that I was told to hire a handyman and after spending 1700 on a washer and dryer I wouldn't be able to afford a handyman. She then stated that it was unacceptable for the third party installers and that I did not need to purchase the vent hose that they would start a claim and would bring the correct vent hose. I left the store without purchasing and got home the third party called and told me I needed to go back and purchase the vent hose and to call when I had done so. Back to the store. Item was purchase and XDT never confirmed an appointment for the installation to be completed. 3/5 I completed it on my own. I hurt my knee and shoulder in the process. When asking for a refund or something to make this right, I was denied.
Desired outcome: I would like to be reimbursed for the amount I spent on laundry at the laundromat. I would like to be compensated for my time, aggravation, milage and injuries.
