Sofa
Cindy Crawford Sofa purchased March 2019 from Rooms to Go, sales rep pushed purchase of extended warranty purchased from Fortegra. In early 2021 sofa started sagging in center, when looking under sofa the main wooden support was cracked. Called Rooms To Go snd Fortegra, claim filed. Inspector came out to look at sofa, said could have been weak and finally just gave way. This sofa almost solely used by one adult in family weighting less than 170lbs, besides sagging middle sofa is in excellent condition. After numerous weeks called Fortegra to see what was being done, they said it was not manufacture defect, so was not covered and claim had been denied. We asked if not manufacturers defect then what is it? No response. Sofa was delivered by Rooms to Go and is in same place where it was set up, and has never been moved. Now could a board in a sofa break if not manufactures defect? no children in home, no rough use. Fortegra and Rooms To Go SCAM people with this coverage, absolutely ridiculous to cheat people out of money and not cover clearly a product defect. If I was Cindy Crawford I would want my name off this product.

Loveseat and recliner couch
I found a hairline scratch perfectly straight near the very back of the right arm. I called and was transferred from one department to another. The couch has a lopsided feel when you sit at the end. I wanted to return the whole set because customer service is not interested in resolving this. I paid cash for the furniture over 3K. Customer service could not be worse.

Dining Room Furniture
I purchased/ordered/paid for a dining room set December 2021. I was told that it would be in February 2022. Understandable because of the wood and the time it is taking for things to be built. I picked up the furniture from the Dunn's Room to Go, with the chairs not even been protected at all. I was told that it would be in boxes, and have to be put together. Unless I pay another cost, which I was not going to. The table was in a cardboard box. When I got the stuff home less that 4 hourse away. The screws started falling out of the stools. I tried to call RTG could not get anyone on the line. I called the next day finally got someone on the line, told him what was going on. Took my information and was suppose to call me back or have someone to call me back. I have been trying to call and get someone that could help me, finally got someone on the phone today that I thought could help me. I was told that I had 2 stools waiting for me to pick up. Just like I told the gentlemen last week I will not make another trip to Dunn to pick up anything. At this point I want to return for a full refund. Which was told that I could do within 48 hour. It was within 48 hours that I called not being happy with this furniture at all. If I knew what I know now I would have never dealt with RTG at all. The first time and the last time. I hope people read this and make sure that they know what this company is all about. NO MORE RTG EVER!

Leather couch with automatic foot rests
I purchased a leather couch with automatic foot rests after paying for 11 months the foot rests became detached from the frame. I Submitted the claim complete with pictures and they stated that My claim was covered. After further review they came back and stated that my claim was denied and that the core cushions were not covered. I highly recommend not purchasing any extended warranties from rooms to go! They do not stand behind their products. Very Dissatisfied customer.

I filed a complaint on Feb 9th, 2022 on this site. Re: Rooms To Go Daytona, Fla. (Leather couch set) What happens when the complaint gets to RTG and is no longer available for people to read on this site.
The runaround… I have been asked for numerous photos, over and over again. The couch after less than 2 months, wrinkled, and the leather bunched up. On top of that the support went on the cushions. A rep: Fred came out twice only to tell us there are many complaint on this particular set, and it meets manufacturers guidelines (China)? I am on my 3rd Loveseat, enough said. I purchased the service police on both pieces.
The last Correspondence was; come to the store and or on line
and choose a different set. We were already offered that solution. My husband and I did go to the store and found nothing. The leather couches had less support than the set we have, and to purchase on line without trying, is a no. Another stall tactic. This set is defective and I have repeatedly asked for my money back, and to come get it. No solution, no satisfaction..

DO NOT waste your money purchasing an extended warranty from Rooms To Go. Fortegra is the company that they use. They do not honor contracts. All they want to do is deny claims. Recently purchased a recliner and did not open for a month because I was in the process of moving. When I opened the box, I found a recliner for a small woman or child. This is not what I wanted. I may have ordered the wrong thing but should be able to return for a normal size recliner. They stated that no returns after 48hr of delivery. This is crap. If I would have known about this policy I would have never ordered from Rooms To Go.

I bought 2 bedroom suits online from the Fayetteville, NC Store, I guess that was my mistake since I live in Virginia. Started when I finally received the first delivery after continuous cancellations and time changes of delivery, my $2000,00 dollar bunk bed for my girls was broken and was dangerous for them to sleep on top bunk. The deliver drivers drilled screw to try to fix it and I was shocked ! you want my grandkids to sleep on this ! I told them to take it back, they refused told me to call customer service. I did and that was a joke, excuses, excuses. I even send them videos and what the problem was and they still would not replace this bed. They sent a piece to try to fix it and I was furious at this point, my grandkids had to sleep on the floor for 2 weeks because i had got rid of their old beds. Received the replacement part and guess what, still is broken and wobbly, completely unsafe for them. That's just the first set of beds, geez! I have contacted the manager of the Fayetteville, NC store MULTIPLE times and all i get is excuses! The delivery drivers were here 7 times, taking things i didnt order and not bringing things i ordered. I will never ever but from this company again. I have a bunk bed that is unsafe for my grandchildren and I do not want it and want it to be taken to a dump. So I now have to pay for a bunk bed that is unusable and completely unsafe ! Sorry if so here and there with this statement, but since October of 2020 this has been a total nightmare.

Cindy Crawford Metropolis Couch
I purchased two pieces of this sectional after my previous couches from Roomstogo caused physical harm to me from horrible construction. I had to pay almost $1k more for what the sales guy called quality collection made here in the USA. The bigger piece is rarely sat on - I prefer the loveseat (get to this wreck in a minute) but the other day I noticed what I though was a piece of styrofoam from a pack on the larger piece. However upon closer inspection of the corner of the couch it shows the fabric pulling out of the folded over seam on the back of the couch. Upon even further review you can see they used too small of a piece of fabric and tried to hide that fact - I inspected every other corner with the folded over seam and you can tell the fabric goes pretty far in with the exception of this corner. Again workmanship issues. I let fortega the warranty company know and without looking at photos I’m told it’s denied because Seams coming apart is normal wear and tear. now I have a ripped couch - not because of something I did but because of poor construction.
Now the love seat- it makes the same creaking noise my previous couch made and I’m termed it’ll be another harmful experience from them using too many nails in a corner of particle board. These couches are less than 8 months old - the loveseat less than a month because the delivery guys used a box cutter and slashed the fabric the first time. I also had to wait a better part of year for these couches to begin with.
Desired outcome: I want either replacement couches or a refund on the entire purchase of both sets. Now I’m stuck with a couch tearing and a love seat creaking. I’m terrified I’m going to be hurt by my furniture again!

Leather recliners
I bought a set of 2 recliners with a console in the middle Rooms to Go Myrtle Beach on 3/1/2019. I purchased a extended warrenty with Fortegra. About 9 months ago this cream colored recliner set started to become a yellow greenish color. It has gotten really bad and not just where you sit. Even in weird places. I determined the leather was bad. I called rooms to go and was transferred to Fortegra warrenty dept. I had filed to claims previously..1 on 1/25/22 and a second on 2/6/22. Both were denied saying they dont approve discoloration. This is not a stain. It if the result of bad leather. I only wanted Fortegra to approve a technician from Rooms to Go to come take a look and the very nice hispanic man tried to help me but said there was nothing he could do. That was today 2/11/22. I am appealing to you for help. I spent $2000 on a couch that looks terrible in less that 3 years. Any help you can provide is appreciated

Willowbrae Birch Desk
Placed order Jan 2, received desk with a broken piece. Contacted company, was told only email communication is available and I need to wait for reply.
They shipped an entire new desk and told me to discard the original one but the new item arrived with the SAME broken piece. I emailed the department AGAIN no one answered for few days. I called and talked to a rep who put in the system a request to send me just the needed piece packed properly. Few days passed, a week after and still nothing. When i call every representative says they can only put it in the system and the special department will contact me. No time frame and no idea when my problem will be solved if at all.
Desired outcome: Full refund send me a person to assemble the desk with the required piece to replace the broken one

RTG DISPUTE
Received Leather Couch & Loveseat Nov 2021 from RTG in Daytona totaling over $3,200.00
Purchased Service policy on both pieces, and opened a RTG credit card through Synchrony Bank
Replaced Loveseat twice, 3rd one stitching is off and puckered on back rest
After a few weeks, called for a representative to come out and look at the double reclining electric couch The leather is cheap and soft, couch was wrinkled and puckered. Looked like years old instead of a new couch. RTG sent a representative “Fred” to our home to look. 11/6/21.He told us he had many of the same complaints on this set, and that the furniture was within manufacturers guidelines. REALLY: China’s guidelines.? Fred told us he could heat the leather, but the folds and wrinkles would come back. Before he photographed the couch, he smoothed out the wrinkles with his hands and then took pictures for RTG.? Also told us if we had to call in again, we were to explain to RTG not to send him back out, as he could not help us. I had to call again as now the seats was sagging, no support, was causing back pain, and leg cramps when recliner was out. My husband also complained of back pain. Wrinkles were worse as well.
RTG sent out another rep; and yes it was Fred again, he was not happy. I explained to him we told RTG he did not want to come back out. I told him we really needed his help. Said there was nothing he could do and left.
I filed a complaint on Jan 10th, along with photos, and explanation of problem with Vanessa at Synchrony bank.
Final outcome was “quote” this was normal wear and not a defect. 1/19/22. Also the photos that accompanied the outcome letter were not the ones I sent, but the ones Fred took which were deceiving.
Extremely upset, I am now stuck with payments on this defective set. I don’t think so. Will contact BBB, and social media. Atty. if necessary.
Desired outcome: I want a full refund and the furniture picked up without any fees charged.
RTG did pick up the couch and love seat. I contacted the RTG Synchrony credit card. They canceled my account, and are refunding the payments I made. totaling 241.00. RTG has not sent my deposit back of 457.23. They are telling me it has to go back on my debit card. tThis card was canceled as my banks merged into Truist. They have to mail me a check. If you look at my last correspondence, I supplied you with the credit card info (now resolved), but also that RTG will not send me a check. I even sent you the bank phone# to verify all new debit cards were issued to current customers of Truist. No contact from RTG...

My table had a scratch on it and called rooms to go to get it fixed they brought me a new one but later on it started buckling and called rooms to go to get it fixed but they said that they can't change because they already did it once but it has warranty on it for 3years but they don't even want to change it or fix it but my warranty says rooms to go has to fix it but they don't do it.

Sectional Sofa
When RTG delivered our sectional on 1/29 they scratched our living room hardwood floors by sliding it with out covers over the metal legs. We have filed a claim to have the floors corrected/fixed. Not to mention the loveseat electric don't work. They are bringing a new Sat 1/29. The lady my husband has been speaking with/emailing asking for pictures which he sent about 8 very clear ones. Nothing still has been done she says she needs close up & those are all are close up & some are under the sofa. This is very poor customer service. We aren't going to keep going back & forth. If this doesn't work we will have our attorney to handle it from here.

Purchase a sofa set in May 2021 with the help of an Awesome, Awesome Sales rep in Alpharetta Georgia. But I am still waiting on the furniture to be delivered. Each time I have waited 3 months for a sofa bed as part of a set and each time in 2-3 months increments the furniture is damaged and has to be returned/not delivered.
It is now January 2022 still don't have my sofa bed. Delivery person refused to delivery furniture saying it would not fit on the elevator. I had to pay out of pocket for someone else to deliver the furniture and RTG refuse to reimburse me for what I paid. After receiving the furniture, the sofa bed was damage and the loveseat only had 3 slots for 4 legs. (manufacture defect) RTG had me wait another 2-3 months. Furniture fit fine on elevator and loveseat was fine, but sofa bed was damaged, had to wait another 2 months for the sofa bed, driver called me and said he could not deliver due to damage. had to wait another 2 months. Another delivery and driver called me to show me damage to wood at the bottom of the sofa bed and one leg is broken. Called 813.623.5400 a CSR wanted to offer me $50 for all the freaking headaches and I still don't have my furniture and the account is almost paid off. One CSR Brandon tried very hard to assist me but he could only do so much, but he was very understanding and sympathetic.. Spoke to a supervisor today who argued with me (very unprofessional) after all the mess I have been through with this company. I will not recommend anyone shop here.

1/9/2022 I spent my entire vacation week off painting installing wood floors and renovating my entire daughters room for her birthday. After all that it was time to get her new furniture. I was a little short on money so I applied for credit with this company so I can complete my daughters dream room. I was approved for $1000 and after hours of shopping found a cute bedroom 5 piece for $899 and proceeded to check out everything and everyone was friendly until they required me to pay %20 out of pocket to use my approved well needed help credit your companies finance partner approved me for. Long story short because of this ridicules approve credit but charge 1/4 of the sale upfront... My daughter is sleeping on the floor with clothes folded neatly on the floor in a completely renovated room. Whats the point of approving credit if I have to pay 1/4th of the payment upfront? Its silly! I know I am not entitled to credit with your company but don't give me hope and after hours and days of shopping what we are told we need to pay upfront %20 of our purchase with approve credit!
Desired outcome: First and Last time shopping with this company!! I am a mail man with an RTG on my route. I will not be premoting your company with my costumers and will never disappoint my daughter again.
