customer service and return policy
I ordered a product and it came in the wrong size. I followed the rules for return/cancellation on Shopee's website, and contacted the vendor, who asked me to return the product. I rang Shopee to ask who would cover the return delivery charge - they told me I had to ask the vendor directly if they would cover it and they couldnt take responsibility! All this after 20 mins of backing and forthing one the phone with a supervisor and call service rep, and being given wrong information back and forth, and also not being given a straightforward answer after asking repeatedly to please directly answer my question.
I would also have to give the vendor my bank account details... talk about privacy concerns. And that's IF they agreed to take care of the cost - Shopee had no system in place to make sure the vendor would cover the cost, even though it was the vendor's fault. Take about crappy customer service, and weak business operation rules...never buying from Shopee again!
wrong item delivered. seller not cooperative
Hi, gusto ko lng po mag file ng complaint. I hope it will be resolve, I receive my order from the seller gil.shop. I ordered 2 items but when I received the item it was a different item, I receive 1 item which is not my order. I contacted the seller to negotiate but not responsive and not cooperative. Hindi maganda na ang buyer pa ang naga updata para ma fix. I hope Shopee will not tolerate this kind of seller. Hoping for resolution.

Series of incidents;
November 16, Friday, I filed a return/refund with photos attached, since I received an incomplete number of item. As per the advertisement, it should be 6pcs of fins per pack at P 121.00, so I ordered 3 packs (18pcs) for P 363.00 to reach the free shipping policy.
November 17, the seller submit a dispute and admitted in chat that it's a wrong advertisement, that there's a mistake. Then he asked me for a half refund. I told him that I need a full refund since it's not my fault posting a wrong ad.
November 18 morning, Sunday, I keep calling Shopee but it's just a voice message informing of their supports availability. It says Sat & Sun, from 9am-6pm, but after the recorded message it's just a no tone then cut-off.
November 18 night, the case was closed in favor of the seller. Ha? How is that possible? The seller post a misleading advertisement, then after it has been delivered and paid, and the buyer found out that there's an issue and ask for a refund, then the seller will just file for dispute and ask for a half refund!?

I place my order Nov. 4, 2018 it took 3 days before they process my order so since the seller sent out my order I am expecting that my order will bot affect on their 11.11 sale because a huge number of orders. my item still not arrived
Its been 10 days since my item at rawang and it should arrive at me because im living at rawang, but still didn't arrive and when i call the centre, the centre doesn't pick up at all, i already call more than 10 times and no one answer that ! I placed two orders last Oct. 26, both have not arrived. Both orders were from local sellers. I inquired last nov.02, they said to wait 2-4 business days. So I did, I inquired again last nov.06 since the shopee guarantee has expired and since there's no update from them, csrs and sup were already rude but still tolerable. They said it will be delivered today Nov.8. Still no order arrived. I inquired again through chat and talked to Josephine through chat service who was really very lazy from the start, I provided the two order numbers, all she has to do is to pull up the account, check the records and notes, she asked me three times what my concern is.
When she noticed I'm getting pissed off, that's when she checked the records. She asked me again to wait tomorrow for my orders. Of course I got pissed off. This was not the first time. Last month I also placed an order, waited for more than 10 days, inquired with them and they asked me to wait 2-4 days so I did. But then after 4 days, no order arrived and worse, my order was cancelled just like that.
Same thing seems to be happenning with my two orders now. But this csr has no empathy, very rude and her attitude is disgusting. No matter how irrate your customer is, you should be patient specially if it was your company's fault. Not only that she keeps on sending me the same canned response.
Keep on insisting for me to wait until tomorrow. I'm a reseller and my customer is waiting for her items today since she's about to leave tonight for her vacation. If the order won't be delivered today, I'll suffer big time not only with money loss but also my reputation as a seller.
But Josephine, has poor customer service skills, she doesn't empathize with the customer.She was very rude .I don't know if it was shopee's policy but companies in the US and other companies, if it was their fault, they give a little token for the inconvenience they have caused. Shopee doesn't do that, it's like sorry for the inconvenience we have caused but it's your fault and you have to suck it up because you ordered from us.
Josephine, made me feel that way, from repeating the same canned response, saying that she just gave all the info, insisting to wait til tomorrow, not giving me any option, leaving the chat before I do. That's a no no in customer service. You can't just terminate a chat unless customer has confirmed that she'll be leaving.
unauthorized credit card charges
I purchase one fujitsue intel core i3 through shopee online on 23 october 2018.
I found out my credit card charged 519.84 but there is no item confirmed after check out.
I complaint through shopee helpdesk but only agreed to refund after 7 working days.
So far i did not receive any refund as promised. It is really unethical way to charge customers' credit card immdiately with intention scam the money.
Through shopee hotline, i found a lot customers having similar problems. but they don't know how to complaint.
Please investigate my case. Hope to get back consumer rights and penalize shopee intention to cheat customers money.

I have placed an order in shopee with tracking id 181029231178QDE. Item was delivered today 11/03/2018 by Christopher Manuel - DRS772364. Item received was damaged. One of the make up brush that I have received was broken and my sister who received thr item on my behalf said that the parcel was put at the bottom most part and was put on the floor while trying to fix the remaining items to be delivered on his motorcycle. I always order at shopee and this is the first time I have received a defective item due to mishandling. Ninjavan always handles my order properly so pls take action on this.
I been cancelled my membership and they still charged my card and couldnt show me tapes of someone accessing my account without my permission. Then had the nerve to tell me that I never cancelled my account which I did and they have no documents to prove it... also the manager nick was unprofessional and they were yelling. I will not go back

Was trying to find a gaming cpu for a reasonable price and saw someone selling for 5000 php i was a bit hesitant at first, But bought it . The seller said to pay at 7/11, After paying the seller said that it would get picked up the next day by Ninjavan and would be delivered in 3 - 5 days . I asked for the tracking ID, to which he no longer replied back . 3 weeks have passed and nothing happened .

I ordered a flash drive with 1TB capacity. Pero kapag nag exceed na ng 8 GB ang kanacopy ko corrupted na lahat ng files. Hindi kaya mag carry ng up to 10 GB na files. So what's the point na 1TB ang flash drive pero 8 GB lang ang kayang i-handle na fiels? Wtf shopee [censored]ing qualities.

Did a purchase of inflatable car bed and dont have a problem with the seller but with Shopee customer service Malaysia itself. I had make a payment for my purchase but the Shopee rejected it and demanded for a new receipt because the receipt is invalid.
I did called the customer service like 10 minutes before i write this complaint and asks the person from customer service why my receipt is invalid since i had like buy from shopee more than 5 times and i'm used the same method/screenshot and upload it to the shopee but the answer is not helping.The person rudely saying that the receipt is invalid and claimed it a bit roughly.
How a person with that attitude can be put in your company front line and dealt with customer with that horrible manner? i'm not that hard, just wanted to know why my receipt is invalid since I'm being using that same method to screenshot my proof of payment in case to avoid other problems in the future. It is so hard to give explanations or just politely says sorry?
I also did emailed to the customer service and i think that it is better for me to write than to speak with no manner person and claimed that she is the customer service who is paid to do job but with heartless manner.

shopee violated their own 'shopee guarantee'

I paid PHP1, 250.00 for 125 toilet rolls plus PHP100.00 for LBC Express shipping, I need to be specific when shopping online because it is, literally, only LBC that serve my remote location.
What the seller did was realise their, mistake, that they couldn't ship the quantity for the shipping cost that they offered and without reference to me shipped just 24 toilet rolls via JRS Express at a shipping cost of PHP218.00, regardless that the quantity and shipping cost are wrong JRS shall never deliver to me because they do not serve my remote location.
After some ten days I observed that the order of 125 toulet rolls had been tagged as 'Order Received' but according to Shopee's Guarantee:
"Shopee Guarantee protects users by withholding the payment to Sellers until the Buyer confirms receipt of the order. Once the Buyer accepts the order, the payment will be released to the Seller."
This has been going on for three weeks already, the seller maribeth11 just keeps fobbing me off with excuses whilst more recently Shopee's so called Customer Service are declining to reply to my emails and they have blocked my online chat facility whereas I can no longer communicate with the seller, I guess that Shopee took offence to my suggestion of fraud whilst I remain PHP1, 350.00 out of pocket.
The order has been tagged received because maybe you didn't extend the shopee guarantee. Shopee only put the payments on hold for a certain period of time and if you fail to extend the guarantee during that period then it will be considered received. This is also a protection to the sellers just like you are being protected for a certain period, it is to be fair on both sides. Maybe you can talk to the seller to just refund the amount you didn't receive or maybe send it again and pay another shipping fee if you really need it and if the seller won't cooperate then that's the time you should call Shopee for help.

That is similar to what Shopee are now telling me and if one continues to read their supposed 'Guarantee' similar is explained however having read this 2nd paragraph of their guarantee many, like me, will not continue reading further, it quite clearly states that the payment will be withheld until the buyer confirms receipt which, with the benefit of hindsight, is a downright lie:
"Shopee Guarantee protects users by withholding the payment to Sellers until the Buyer confirms receipt of the order. Once the Buyer accepts the order, the payment will be released to the Seller."
But Shopee are being unrealistic, they only put a 9 day guarantee on my order which is quite ridiculous ... We don't all live in city centers.
I live in a remote location on Siargao Island, providing that the shipment isn't prohibited for shipment by air and provided that the seller dispatches promptly it shall travel the first overnight from the LBC branch to their hub and to Manila Airport, probably the next day it shall fly from Manila to Butuan airport and then to LBC's hub in Butuan, perhaps another 36 hours later it shall travel by truck to LBC's Surigao City hub, another day shall go by whilst they recognise that it is for forwarding to Siargao, then subject to boat services another day or two to be forwarded to Siargao's solitary LBC branch and then a further one or two days for a sub-contractor to deliver it, I regularly shop on Lazada and to receive an order within 9 days is a privilige indeed!

Hi There, i order product from shopee, my tracking no. is this EH887913748MY, first of all, im not at the area which my things should be sent for a week, so then i not received any call or sms from pos laju, but then i received message from the sender, then i said to him i couldnt take the thing for now, will take it after 1 week, then no response, the day i went to pos laju, they said my thing already return back to the sender. then i ask the sender to send back to me, then he said got additional charges for it, ok then i said nevermind just send it, i will pay for it, but then he never reply me again. could you please assist for this otherwise please refurn my money, thank you.

Yesterday as I open my shop at Shopee, there was a message saying my account was tagged as "Limited Access", ofcourse I was so shocked...so they provided reasons like and to justify my case :
1. Fake order creation
- I need you to give me an evidence on which or in which order I made fake, provide me evidences. For all I know it was the courier who faked my signature saying I have already received the returned item, when in fact I did not. I was even willing to give you CCTV footage on what date and time was that signature was taken I even provided you ID's for signature specimens for you to compare, but no to avail..until now almost 2 months already this issue weren't not resolve. Take not the signature that they were trying to show that it was mine was very far from the signature I used and always have been signing.
My products are always on wrong updates and tag, all I ever did was to follow-up, but it seems you have poor judgement of my shop. You should reorganize your team.
2. Voucher abuse
- NEVER DID I USE VOUCHER when buying in shopee, and I only have 3 transactions as a buyer in shopee.
3. Subsidy and rebates abuse
- I DO NOT HAVE SUBSIDY OR REBATES..no to avail..check it from the 3 transactions I had in shopee as a buyer
4. Scams
- Please do provided evidences...or even who is that buyer I have SCAMMED...

I would like to complain Flatpricestore - seller name. I purchase CDL peoduct which cost RM 188, the seller took for 3 months, and until now i still not yet receive my goods.
