Walmart Mixed Experience with Walmart Grocery Delivery: A Blessing for Physically Disabled and Elderly Individuals on a Budget, but Lacking in Customer

As a physically disabled and elderly individual who is on a fixed budget, Walmart Grocery Delivery has been a godsend for me. Despite the $20 delivery fee and tip, which can add up, it is worth it to have my groceries delivered right to my front door, especially since I live less than a mile from Walmart. However, my experience with the service has been mixed.

Out of the six times I have used the service, there have been two great experiences, two satisfactory ones, and two extremely frustrating ones. As someone who struggles to walk or push a cart for long periods of time, getting from my car to the front door of Walmart can be excruciating. Additionally, I am at high risk for COVID-19, and even though I am vaccinated, the new strain makes me nervous. For these reasons, I prefer to have my groceries delivered.

During my third delivery, despite requesting delivery to my front door, they left everything in my driveway, making it difficult for me to bring everything inside. Today, I was scheduled for an 8-9am delivery, so I made sure to clear the path, move my car, and leave a generous cash tip on my front door. However, at 8:41am, I received an email saying my order would be delayed, and at 9:01am, they cancelled my order without asking if I wanted to reschedule or waiting an hour or two. As someone who checks their email infrequently, I only caught the cancellation because I was waiting for the delivery. It felt frustrating and inconsiderate.

Despite my negative experiences, I do appreciate that Walmart Grocery Delivery provides a valuable service for those who have difficulty grocery shopping. However, Walmart's lack of customer service is a significant issue for me. The last time I went into the store to buy a neck massager for my wife, I spent nearly an hour wandering around, trying to find it. I asked multiple employees for assistance, and even when one checked their device for me, they directed me to an area of the store where the massagers weren't located. It was a frustrating and painful experience that left me feeling furious at Walmart.

In conclusion, Walmart Grocery Delivery has been helpful to me, but there are significant areas for improvement, particularly in customer service. It would be great if Walmart could better train employees to provide guidance in-store and provide more transparent communication with customers about delivery delays and cancellations.

Walmart Walmart Grocery Delivery Service in Butler, PA Fails to Meet Expectations: A Customer Review

The Walmart Grocery Delivery service, available at grocery.walmart.com, has unfortunately not met the expectations of a customer in Butler, PA. Despite having shopped at Walmart in-person without issue, this customer has yet to receive an order that fulfills their entire list. Furthermore, they have noticed that some substitutions that could be made are not being offered. Comparatively, the customer has had better experiences with the Instacart service, which allows for real-time communication with the shopper while they are completing the order, ensuring that substitutes are satisfactory. The fact that Walmart, a company earning significant profits, is unable to provide a more advanced platform for customers is frustrating for this user.

Aside from these ordering issues, there have also been problems with tracking the delivery driver. The tracking system has not worked reliably, on one occasion even indicating that the driver was still at Walmart when they were already at the customer's home. Another time, the order was erroneously displaying as "still shopping" while the driver was already en route, causing confusion for the customer. Additionally, the customer has encountered situations where drivers hired by Spark, a third-party service provider, have been undependable. Specifically, their order has either been lost, or the driver did not arrive on schedule, and the order had to be reassigned by Walmart. It is concerning that Walmart cannot guarantee a delivery driver for such a frequently used service.

The most alarming point that the customer made was that Walmart is charging customers for their subscription service monthly, but has failed to provide the service accordingly. There was even an incident where the first delivery was sent out but could not be assigned to anyone operating under Spark, the contracted delivery company. The customer's neighbor, who was employed by this service, attempted to accept the delivery but was unable to do so due to its "unavailable" status. The customer's order was being passed from delivery driver to delivery driver, but no one could accept it. To add insult to injury, drivers who do arrive are sometimes ungrateful and greedy when it comes to their tip. They have complained on Walmart's Facebook page that a $10 tip is not enough, which is unreasonable considering that the customer is already providing compensation that covers transportation costs and a little extra. The customer, having been a food delivery driver themselves, has expressed confusion and frustration with this behavior.

In conclusion, the Walmart Grocery Delivery service in Butler, PA is not operating up to standard. There are too many issues with order substitutions, tracking, unavailability of drivers, and ungrateful delivery people. The customer deserves better service than what they are receiving, especially since they are paying a monthly subscription fee. Walmart needs to improve their delivery service experience for their customers or risk being viewed as unhelpful, unreliable, and greedy.

Walmart My Frustrating Experience with Walmart Grocery Delivery and Walmart+ Subscription

As someone who has been using Walmart grocery delivery for over a year now, I've had a bit of a mixed experience. While I've had a few orders that have gone off without a hitch, the vast majority have been riddled with issues that have made the entire process incredibly frustrating. Missing items, late deliveries, drivers canceling without notice - it seems like every time I place an order, something goes wrong. Even worse, there's essentially no communication to keep me informed of what's going on. Customer service is a nightmare; the few times I've been able to get through, I'm usually put on hold for ages or transferred to someone who can't help me.

I've been using Walmart+ for a while, but given the ongoing issues, I don't think I'll be renewing. The inconsistency and general lack of reliability makes it feel like a waste of money. While I will say that refunds have been handled well when I have had to call customer service, it's frustrating to have to constantly be chasing down my orders and dealing with these kinds of setbacks.

One of the other big issues I've had is with tipping. While I'm happy to tip the drivers who deliver my groceries, there have been multiple times where the app has glitched out and I haven't been able to leave a tip. When I brought this up to Walmart, their response was basically that the drivers don't need a tip, which isn't really the point - it's a nice gesture to show appreciation for someone doing a service for you. It's frustrating to have to run to the bank for cash just to be able to tip.

Overall, I'm considering switching to another delivery service like Instacart or Amazon because Walmart's logistics just aren't cutting it. There needs to be more transparency and communication around the delivery process, and the company needs to do more to improve the overall reliability of the service. While it might work for someone who doesn't care when or if their groceries show up, for anyone looking for a more consistent experience, I would have to recommend looking elsewhere.

There also many similar problems with Instacart's poor shoppers/delivery people,and there are 1000's of bad complaint reviews for them,and even a very nice customer service agent I recently spoke to said there a lot of complaints about them from customers.

And a nice shopper delivery woman from Instacart said that There's always some issue with Instacart.

Walmart Disappointed with Walmart Grocery Delivery: Late, Damaged, and Moldy Orders

As someone who is dependent on grocery delivery services during the pandemic, I am deeply disappointed with Walmart Grocery Delivery (grocery.walmart.com). My recent order was a complete disaster - late delivery, defrosted frozen foods, missing items, moldy cheese, pre-opened milk, and even an item that made me sick after eating. On top of this, I've had repeated issues with almost every order in my history of business with Walmart Grocery Delivery, and no one has ever offered to fix any of the mistakes by redelivering missed items, nor have they offered me any kind of compensation for my troubles.

This experience is not unique to me. I've lost count of the times I've received damaged packages or out-of-date food, and have had to throw away so much money and food that it has put me in a difficult financial situation. I've even had orders that were never delivered at all, and support was unable to do anything about it. Furthermore, the prices of some items have skyrocketed and certain popular items are consistently out of stock, making it difficult for me to even feed my cats enough every month.

It's clear that Walmart needs to improve their quality control and site design, as well as hire more people for delivery services. As a former employee, I can attest to the fact that they run their workers into the ground, and this needs to change. Overall, I am deeply unsatisfied with Walmart Grocery Delivery, and I urge others to look for other options for their grocery delivery needs.

Walmart Walmart Grocery Delivery: My Frustrating and Disappointing Experience

My experience with Walmart Grocery Delivery has been both frustrating and disappointing. I live in a rural area where transportation is challenging, and so the convenience of having groceries delivered to my doorstep would be a lifeline for me. I decided to give their Express service a try and paid $17.50 plus a $10 tip. I was given a delivery time of 2:58 pm, and I waited until 4:00 pm without receiving any communication about my order. Finally, I was able to get in touch with a few people, but they couldn't locate my order using the order number I was provided. I spoke to a woman on the customer service line who told me that my order would be ready in 30 minutes and would be delivered soon after. Shortly after hanging up with her, I received a text message saying that my order had been canceled, and a refund had been processed. However, when I clicked on the option to reorder, the page went blank, and nothing happened.

I tried to place a new order but could not recall all the items I had previously purchased. I received a confirmation email saying that my order would be delivered between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and there were several substitutions made for items that were out of stock, which I accepted. However, when 7:00 pm came and went, and nobody delivered my groceries. I checked the status of my order, and it had not been fulfilled or returned. I was left stranded without any groceries despite having paid for them, and I have no idea when I will receive my order. This was particularly distressing for me since I have no other means of getting groceries, and people who come from an hour away to take me to the store get frustrated with me.

I hope Walmart improves their delivery service as promised on their website because I depend on this service. Even though I ended up paying $15 additional in tips for the second order, my money has not been refunded, and my initial order is still sitting idle. Walmart's delivery service site shows my account, which was not the case previously, and I can only hope that my order arrives soon. I feel this is a great service, but the execution needs to improve.

Walmart Life-saving Grocery Delivery: A Review of Walmart's Excellent Service

Walmart Grocery Delivery has been an absolute lifesaver for us after a terrible experience with another online grocery delivery service. We have been using the Walmart grocery website regularly for the past two months and have been blown away by the level of service provided.

The website itself is easy to navigate, with the option to use a "reorder" feature to quickly add previously ordered items to your cart. The $35 minimum order requirement is easily met and, once a pickup time and slot has been secured, the experience has been nothing but positive. Pickup dates and times are typically available within the next 4-5 days with extended hours from 7 am to 8 pm, making it convenient for those with busy schedules.

One of the biggest perks for us has been the competitive prices of the food items - with no up-charging or hidden fees. We've also appreciated the prompt and courteous service from Walmart's staff, particularly when it comes to the pickup process. The employees who bring out the groceries have been wonderful, carefully discussing any substitutions and making sure that items are loaded safely into our car. It's been especially great for us since we are in our eighties and are being especially careful during the pandemic.

The only downside we've encountered has been with certain items being out of stock and substitutions being made without our input. However, this hasn't been a major issue since we've been charged the regular price for the substituted items and have the option to decline them.

Another unexpected bonus was the ability to add non-food items to our order through the Walmart grocery site. It's been great being able to order non-grocery essentials, such as motor oil or pet food, along with our regular groceries.

Overall, we have been completely impressed with Walmart Groceries' delivery service and would highly recommend it to anyone. It's clear that the company values its customers and strives to provide excellent service - they have even gone above and beyond to accommodate any issues we've had. As a result of our positive experience, we've regularly given the service a five-star review, something we rarely do!

Walmart Walmart Grocery Delivery: A Frustrating and Unreliable Service

I have been using Walmart Grocery Delivery (grocery.walmart.com) for over a year now, and I have to say that my experience has been anything but positive. Despite being an early adopter of the service, the glitches and errors have continued to plague my orders, with very little improvement over time. In fact, the situation has become so bad that I have had to supplement my Walmart orders with deliveries from other grocery services like HEB and FiestaMart through Instacart.

I have even gone so far as to complain to Walmart's executive office, complete with images of my HEB receipts, but to no avail. The service is so unreliable that I am left scratching my head as to how they manage to get it so wrong so frequently.

Take my last three orders, for example. In the first instance, I received only a third of what I had ordered and was told that the driver had left my items with another customer. The replacements that I received were mostly out of stock. In the second instance, my order was not delivered at all, and I received no update or contact from Walmart until I called the next day. Even then, I was unable to get through to anyone at the Pickup and Delivery Dept. After being put on hold, I eventually received a text informing me that my order had been canceled. In the third instance, I received less than half of what I had ordered, with some items missing and no explanation as to why.

The frustration that I feel is compounded by the fact that I cannot choose the Walmart store from which I would like to order. I am stuck with one particularly lousy store that has little inventory and pages upon pages of "Out of Stock" items. Even worse, sometimes I am allowed to add an item to my cart, only to be told at checkout that it is no longer available. When this happens, I have to start the entire ordering process over again.

And if that weren't bad enough, even when my order is finally placed, I still receive missing items upon delivery because they have run out of stock. All in all, the entire experience is exhausting and infuriating.

In this day and age, with grocery delivery becoming more and more prevalent, I am disappointed that Walmart has not managed to get its act together after nearly two years of offering the service. It's frustrating for customers like me who are looking for a reliable and convenient way to do our grocery shopping. I hope that Walmart can learn from its mistakes and improve its service, but until then, I will be looking elsewhere for my grocery deliveries.

Walmart Customer service/door

I understand that receipt checking this time of year is necessary at times but have to the door person (not sure how they identify) mouth off because I commented on the purchase in question does not fit in a bag... I understand it was doing its job but to keep "mouthing: at me as I walking away was totally unnecessary! I'm not so sure I wasn't called an impolite term on my way out. I get too tired on being checked every freaking time I haved a purchase that does not fit in a bag being door checked. I use an actual cashier for this express reason.

Several times now, I have gotten home to find spoiled juice, cracked eggs, uncooked rotisserie chicken. I always see the trucks just sitting in tthe Walmart lot and I wonder how long the food sits there, from the long time it takes to ship it to Walmart. This stuff is not cheap and it is not worth the gas to return it and to be stared at by associates, who says that this is not their problem.

Walmart Walmart grocery delivery service, Red Wing, MN Store

I ordered groceries online at the Red Wing, MN store. I was missing items ordered and paid for, plus a tip. The items were in stock. I contacted the delivery person, and she said that she had the items in her car, and if I wanted them, I would need to drive to another customer’s address to pick them up. One

Over a month of the seller not responding to Papal I was finally told a few days ago I have to return the item at my expense with tracking. Cost of postage is ridiculous and it will be over $50 to ship the item back, and even then it didn't sound like I was going to for sure get a refund.

You have a third rate horrible company selling under your brand name, and I want a resolution. I can bring the item to a store. But I will not spend MORE money on postage to lose again.

I do not deserve to have a non working sub standard item sent to me when I paid good money for it.

Claimed loss: Over a month waiting for a resolution.

Walmart products unavailable when pharmacy closed

Recently our pharmacy had to cut back hours due to lack of available people to work. Unfortunately when the gates are pulled across the pharmacy it also cuts off access to products that are not under prescription. For example I cannot get my contact solution or my eye drops about 12 noon when the pharmacy opens. I can only get my contact solution at one other store and it is $4.00 more than Walmart. Isn't there some way that these non-prescription items be moved out of that area and put on a shelf so people can access them?

Walmart online ordering for cyber monday

i tried several times to place an order online for cyber-Monday and picked out between 9 and 11 items original purchase should have cost me 410.00 but your security system continues to flag my purchase as suspicious activity. I called customer service and was told it would be fixed inside of 24 hours so i could still enjoy my cyber-Monday purchases. nothing was fixed on my account so i called back and spoke to a manager named Claudia #[protected] who told me nothing was fixed on my account, and she was going to contact your security team but it would take a Minium of 6 hours before they would contact her back. the sale for cyber-Monday ends in 4 and a half hours and if I don't get my order in on time it will ruin my kids Christmas because I waited and relied on Walmart to make my purchases for cyber-Monday.

Claimed loss: i will incur a 384.00 loss if I'm not allowed to use the cyber Monday sales

Walmart TCL 65 inch tv

On November 23 I ordered online a TCL 65"tv. It was to be delivered Saturday November 25. This was the first time I ordered online. It was delivered to the wrong house. I was on the phone holding for about 3 hours. All they wanted was to give a refund. This tv was a black friday item and no longer in stock. Someone got a free TV. I had nothing. I had to work black friday so I had to order online. Will not order again. Very angry customer.

Desired outcome: Deliver tv I bought.
