Dollar General employee lacey rainwater

A couple weeks ago i reported her and she has continued to harass my boyfriend and tell him that she's gonna fight me if i came In there. I've kept my distance. As of my last complaint nothing has happened. She is being very unprofessional in the workplace and clearly needs to be removed from the register or the store. She works at the Dollar General on 18th st in Lafayette Indian.

One of the employee at the dollar general in Belleville IL on centerville ave is completely rude. You get dirty looks and back talk when walking in. She threatened to fight me if I come back. Now every time I go in she harasses me on social media. Her name tag is Alexis. I’ve also witnessed her in a black car and it looked like she was snorting something. Don’t go here or you could be next. She also claims her aunt owns the store so there is nothing we can do about her.

How would you feel if you worked at a place and Lacey reported you for a reason. Don't think you'd like it very much. Do to others as you would want them to do to you.

Dollar General assistant manager jetta woodward

As we were waiting to be checked out at the dollar general in Waterloo Indiana there were 3 employees standing around talking. After a couple of minutes the Assistant Mgr came to ring us up. My husband was messing with her saying "it's about time " (We go to this store regularly and joke with all the employees) She in return said "Its not my job to ring you up. All I'm supposed to do is stock shelves because I'm an Assistant Manager" At this point we told her it's her job to cover if she doesn't have enough people. She said that was not her problem and to just get out of her store. If this continues to be a problem (because this is not the first time she has been rude) I will make sure I take my business else where.

To you customers that keep complaining. You better not do it at my store. I had an issue with a customer. I the LP that they were stealing. I had to place batteries in their bag myself to make them look guilty. The best part of all of this was I got a gift card for catching the thief.

Yes you customers need to realize your snippy comments are not needed. As a lead employee and regular cashiers we are not aloud to stand at the register and just wait for you like its Walmart. We have a list and tons to do while still ringing you out. And some of us like me are working more than 40 hrs a week bc we live in a small town and no one applys. We have a button on our counter for customers to ring for assitance but Ive quickly learned you guys cant read or see bc you stand at the wrong register where the light is off and sign is up clearly saying closed. And when we get up to the counter you immediatly blame us for your stupidty.

Dollar General employees

I witnessed a employee threatened a customer today in front of her small child in the parking lot while the acting manager was standing right there. The only thing the manager said to the employee was that she should of done it off the clock because she could be fired. I don't care what the personal issue is between the employee and the customer this should of never happened!

Dollar General service

The Dollar General in Providence Kentucky has an employee that is always curse with me. Stacy acts like it is a strain to be nice. Both my wife and myself are treated poorly. I plan on doing my shopping when possible at another location. Do you do back ground checks?
I know my wife was doing resets. For a company that does subcontract work. Since then she has been curse with us both. My wife was told she needed to hurry by Stacy. At the time we did not realalize she had Parkinson Disease. She has since quit doing resets as a subcontractor. She uses a cane and she is 55 years old.

Dollar General manager service

The new manager in the Vidalia dollar General is way to hard on there employees. I understand she just got to the store and is a young girl maybe she is trying way to hard to prove herself. The workers are way over worked and under paid. You can't find anything in the store. And there is only one person there that will actually come and help and show you where things are katelyn is very nice and always has a smile. The new manager needs to realize yelling and screaming is not going to get her anywhere.

Dollar General sevice

I was over charged on diapers that were two for $16 dollars, the manager there refunded the money to back onto my card but I have yet to receive my money. The customer service was terrible. Extremely ghetto and not polite at all. Not to mention the roaches that were in the store but that's an entire different complaint. The first cashier was very rude and unhelpful just like her manager. I honestly don't know why this store is open still.

It usually takes about a week before a credit is returned onto a card. Check with your bank in a few days for a statement.

Dollar General returns

I believe that Dollar general should check returned items more carefully. I don't think it's right or fair to others if you go in and buy an item, then return in a few days with the OLD item in the package and get a refund. I have witnesses several "new"pools and " new" fans being brought back. But they are not new. They are used or broken. But the customer gets a complete refund on a used dirty broken item. I also believe that all returns be checked by a manager only, and they should t inspected before a refund is given.

Dollar General falling accident

I went to the store on August the eighth and fell where a wet floor sign was. I cut my knee and hurt my butt which was soaked with water. When i mentioned it up front after not receiving any help, I was made to feel like a criminal. They said they took a picture and there was no puddle. My butt was soaked. I stood there with a messed up knee for 15 minutes. Then they had me fill out a report. She stated there were two cameras there and they would review the tapes. I was treated very rudely like I was doing it on purpose and I hadn't ask for anything or said anything except about falling. Is this how your business trains managers to treat customers?

Dollar General employee, I think a manager female with dark hair.

I went in to buy some sugar packets for my coffee and this lady says all bags must be at the counter, which is fine but all I had in it was my tobacco and tubes. I make my cigarettes and collect cans to recycle I find on the way to and from. I even showed her what was in it. It was a cloth Aldi grocery store bag. I went to Kroger instead to get my sugar packets after telling her "NOT EVERYONE is a shoplifter " and walked to Kroger's instead.
I always loved DG, but not this store anymore.
Years ago in the 43214 zip code, I worked at the one in Graceland Shopping Center off of N. High St. before a Target store got built there. Now DG got moved to High St. and Morse Rd. behind TJs restaurant. The last 4 is 1782. Holiday Seasonal until Christmas was over. I lived at 22 w. Cooke Rd. #G, 43214.

Dollar General rude and abusive behavior witnessed being done a customer

Yesterday I witnessed the worst abusive/rude behavior to a customer at a Dollar General located on 60 Johnson Road London, KY 40741. Young lady entered the store and within 5 minutes a cashier whom was stocking literally accused her of shop lifting. I was in the same isle as the young lady and I never witnessed any shoplifting. We both where in the $1.00 isle and young lady was on her cell phone talking when this cashier literally pushed me aside, stood directly in her face demanding she get off the phone. The young lady did as she asked and proceeded to ask what was the issue. This cashier yelled out for the entire store to hear "you are a shoplifter" and demanded that she hand over her handbag. The young lady looked confused and politely asked what exactly did she shoplift, the cashier conveniently picked up an empty package from the dollar isle shelf. The young lady offered to let the cashier look in her handbag but this cashier demanded she hand over her handbag directly to her. Cashier started screaming "call the cops, we got a shoplifter". She threaten this young lady until she finally handed over handbag. The cashier went completely through her handbag...she got more verbally abuse when she didn't find anything. She proceeded to search this young ladies pockets...she was furious when she found nothing. So she continued to harass and verbally abuse this young lady whom she would not allow to purchase her items and was told she was to never return to the store. Never in my years of shopping at any retail store have I witnessed such verbal abuse as well as almost damaging the expensive handbag the young lady was carrying. I videoed the entire event, I left the store and informed this young lady I had video if she seeks legal action. This cashier must have not read the memo you cannot approach anyone whom you are suspicious of shoplifting until they are leaving the store with the item in hand, which shows intent of shoplifting. I will never shop this store again, the abuse/agressive behavior from this cashier was alarming. I will testify upon the behalf of this customer along with other whom where shopping there as well. I honestly think she targeted this young lady for a distraction, I did catch on video a suspicious male walking out of the store with items. Once the male left the store the cashier stopped her abusive behavior but as the young lady left out of the door she was screaming "there goes a shoplifter". So from my view this cashier appeared to let this male shoplift. I'm not sure if the young lady filed a complaint but it was so abusive I decided to do so myself. Dollar General you really need to screen your applicants for mental illness. I was advised to not release video until this young lady seeks legal action.

Regardless, there isn't any excuse to be rude to customers. These customers are what keep the stores open and provide jobs and pay these rude employees. Dollar General seriously needs to train these employees in customer service. I'm a Registered Nurse and how would they feel if they came into the ER and I started yelling and accusing them of being a drug seeker. Regardless the profession I personally strive to treat others as I would want to be treated. If you hate your profession find a new one. There are other ways of handling situations and doing this in front of customers or other employees is the correct way but you have to take in consideration as to what type of ppl whom work there. I can't tell you how many times I've seen employees let family walk out of the store with a buggy of items, after witnessing this I asked why they didn't stop them and I was told it's store policy not to confront or follow anyone whom shoplift. So to the young lady whom was approached by a cashier, illegally searching her and continued to berate her after finding no merchandise in the handbag or her person I would definitely seek legal action. Thank goodness another customer videod the incident rather than stand around as on looker. Dollar General in KY just what are your policies on employees reprimands if your harassing employee doesn't find any stolen merchandise after an illegal search?

I experienced a similar experience last Saturday at the Dollar General in Indianapolis at the store located on 2131 Central avenue. The manager Jeff was berating a woman and yelling at her in front of about 7 customers. The woman had her receipt and the manager was upset because she was returning a non working product, apparently for the second time. The manager yelled that he would not do anymore returns, even if she had a receipt.. And that is Not the store policy. The woman stood her ground about a possible return and with a God like complex - the manager as though he was doing her a favor said he would do 1 more return. Shaking my head... The crap you have to deal with as a paying customer. I decided after that display, I would go to Walmart or any other store that did not treat its customers so disrespectfully.

Honestly, I was horrified at the manner of the manager aggressiveness and less customer courtesy for all of us in the store at that time. Absolutely disgusting and totally not managerial.

Dollar General store security

on Friday 16 Jun2018 I went to dollar general at 2429 Frederick Ave. looking for some tiki oil. I entered the store walked down the aisle I usually purchase it from every week and there was none. the cashier who works there as I was walking back down the aisle asked if she could help me, I said yes I'm loking for tiki oil, she said its out of season so we probably wont be getting any more, I replied I guess I have to make the long trip to home depot or wal mart. As I was leaving the store the security guard in plain cloth walked in front of me turned around and grabbed my pocket saying what do you have in your pocket. I said everything in my pocket is what I came in here with. I don't like being accused of stealing ive worked on my job 26 years and have no reason to steal. I didn't touch anything on any shelf, I never went in or out my pocket. so why do you allow your security personal to just grab and touch people for no reason. was it a sexual assault because if you look at your own video it would seem he his grabbing my penis. you have cameras and voice recordings within your store there so review your tapes and take appropriate actions. I have been shopping there since that store opened, review your tapes and see if I have ever even attempted to steal anything. before you hire security you should make sure they are fully trained for him to accuse me of stealing watch video of him he probably is the one stealing

Dollar General customer service

I was shopping in your Dollar General store in Tchula, MS on Saturday, August 4, 2018 trying to use my digital coupons with my transaction. The first issue is that you have registers that do not print receipts; therefore any questions about the transaction cannot be discussed. I made a transaction and was asking the cashier who was extremely helpful about the instant $2.00 when you purchase $12.00 of Febreze products. She could not tell if the amount came off my transaction so she proceeded to call the Manager, Abdel Kader . The manager verified that the promotion was going on by checking the signage near the product, but he refuse to give me the discount. I proceeded to make another transaction buying the same items and once again he could not explain what discounts I received prior to me paying. He then moved me to another register where I made my final transaction and once again he could not explain what discounts I received prior to getting the receipt. I then said I would contact corporate about the issues and he started talking loud and unprofessional to me. I told him to bring his voice down and he said he would not. He made reference that I had received some discounts and that should be enough. Once again I asked him to lower his voice because there were other customers in the store. As a manager you should be able to explain the discounts and any problem that should arise in the store. The customers are the one who make it possible for the store to stay open. I shop at many Dollar Generals throughout my travel, but to come to my hometown and be treated with such disrespect. This Manager is in need of customer service training. Abdel Kader is an ignorant Manager.

Dollar General employee rude and disrespectful

Location: W Bay and Tuten St. Savannah Georgia

Employee: Tasha and Another Afro American Lady both employees have been extremely rude and disrespectful to customers. I had a incident yesterday 8/9/18 approximately 4pm... I walked into the the store with my 25 yr old daughter to shop. As soon as we walked in we heard WELCOME TO DOLLAR GENERAL... MY daughter said hello... Then the cashiers said it again as if we didn't respond. Greeted with attitude. I said hello again. Then the 2 of them said out loud in front of other customers. THEY NASTY! so I stepped back out the aisle and said who's nasty? No response. Today approximately 4pm I walk in to make a purchase. As I was in the line to pay for my item a lady customer WALKED in. Immediately the cashier yells WATCH HER in front of a line full of customers. The lady responded WHO ME? the short cashier responded ya you! The lady said for what? The cashier started threatening the lady and told her. THIS IS MY STORE I DO WHAT I WANT! First of that is unprofessional behavior secondly it was embarrassing and rude. I just moved here in walking distance from this store. 2 incidents I witnessed in less than 2 days is too many. Something needs to be done about both of them. They act as if they want to intimate people as they enter and exit the store.

Dollar General cashier rude and untrained

I visited one of your Dollar General stores in Yukon, Oklahoma, located at 9825 SW 15th Street (SW 15th St and Morgan Road) on August 8, 2018. The cashier was rude and impatient from the onset and didn't know how to do the advertised 11% veterans discount (11% veterans discount offered in the sale guide for August 8th only). I tried to show her on my calculator what 11% of the total was and she rudely dismissed me (she didn't have a calculator of her own to use). She said she knew how to do 10%, but not 11%. I said, in that case drop the zero from the 10% to get the 1% and add that answer to the 10% amount to get the total discount. She said "What? I don't understand that!" Moving on, I then showed her (cashier) on my cell phone I had a DG coupon. She said "Why are you showing me that, I can't do anything with that! I had never used a DG coupon before. She said type in your phone number which I did, and the coupon was there. I then gave her my Oklahoma sales tax exempt card (I am a 100% service connected disabled veteran due to a traumatic brain injury while in the service). At this point she got extremely flustered and started huffing and puffing and growing impatient with me. Anyway, she told me the total, but the sales tax was still on the total and the coupon and 11% veterans discount weren't applied. She tried it again, but the veterans discount still didn't get applied. When I informed her of that she went unhinged. She gruffly and loudly informed me that she didn't know how to do all of that and I wouldn't be able to get the veterans discount, and that she had other customers in line. That's the whole reason I went on that specific day, to get the veterans discount. So I left without purchasing anything. I get it that 100% disabled veterans in Oklahoma require a little more time and effort at check out due to the sales tax exemption and veterans discount (when offered), but I think I earned that extra effort.

Dollar General very bad customer service

I was a customer at dollar general for years before last night. A cashier who was working their short changed me 19.63. I gave her two twenties and she said i gave her twenty-one dollars. She called her manger which was very rude and did not believe meeven though there were customers who saw transaction. The cashier was also rude. I would not leave the store until I got my money and after waitng thirty more minutes they finally saw their error and gave me my money. I will notbe shopping there anymore. I have spent countless amounts of money there because the customer service was great. It will be out my way but i will go to another county to do my shopping. No more dollar generals for me only Fred's. The other customers who were there that night also agreed to boycott the store. Managment and clerk situation needs to be handled.

Dollar General store issue

I have reported a problem with bugs in the Purina Cat Chow before. This happened several years ago where I found bugs inside the bags TWICE. It is still an issue years later.

I told the store Manager that I saw what looked like a spider web around the Purina Indoor dry food and told him of my prior experience He really wasn't interested but I persisted. He had an employee go back to the area to check it out finally..just to appease me (it seemed) so I would free up the line.

I went in there again deliberately looking for cat chow and on the side of the small bag, these bugs were attached.. I had already seen them flying about..they look a little like moths. I was out of cat food that day and I navigated around a closed bridge to get to this store for this purpose only. I told the same guy an showed him the bag..he dismissed it as "oh, that's only..." whatever bug he called it.

Why am I writing you? I am not going to buy a bag of cat food knowingly with bugs inside. Its not safe and furthermore the cats wouldn't eat it if I did, I ended up going to two more stores..one was out and the other had it.

The problem is that the bugs are not being seen about or the shelves cleaned.. Those webs I spoke of had to have been there a little while and that later trip told me the bugs are out of control. Years ago I was told it was a problem in the warehouse.. but recently I was told there is no warehouse..so I don't know what to think.

If they will not be carrying the cat food, I will stop going there. But..I was completely dismissed about this problem and that's the second time. I'm not thrilled about this issue and I really didn't want to have to report it..but it seems it won't change unless I do.

Store #09257 This happened last on 8.7.18... The young lady at the check out was very kind..the manager almost laughs in my face. I am not joking. I bought a couple of items I needed I spite of him.

Dollar General assistant manager ashley curry

On Wed Aug 8 2018, your assistant manager with customers in the store started loudly trash talking a person who wasn't in store to another customer. The customer politely told her wasn't place. Ashley (had to ask last name) the proceeded to continue trying trash talk person getting louder. This is not first time this has happened with ashley in your store. At any given time I've been in there and seen her just sitting behind register and someone else had to come from back of store to wait on myself and a friend when we bought cell phones. She is so negative that my friends and I would rather go across town to other dollar general if she is working. I can honestly say there has not been one time I've had a positive experience in your store while she has been working. She is downright rude at times. Not way I feel someone in customer service management should be acting. And if this is how u choose to have your franchise represented then I will have no other choice but to shop elsewhere. Thank you for your time in this matter.

The girl obvisously didnt know her rights bc we dont have to give you our last names at any employer. All you need to know is the first name. And some places have the name or cashier number on the receipt. I mean do you really think theres more than one Ashley there. Regardless you remind me of those people on youtube with ur phone out and cam on demanding a last name .
