helium balloons
I would like the start with stating the at my local Dollar Tree there were only 2 employees working, neither of them had name tags, so I could not tell if the one I spoke with was actually the manager or not. I was asked by my boss to go out and purchase 30 balloons for a corporate event we are having here at work tomorrow (April 23th, 2019). I was told to purchase 30 star helium balloons of varies different colors. I began pulling down balloons from the bin on the ceiling, since no one was available to help me. The cashier turned around after helping a customer and told me I was only allowed to take 5 balloons and pointed to a sign. The sign read "Due to the helium shortage, we have put a limit of 5 balloons per family/customer. Also, we will not blow up balloons that are already in the corral. They are "fresh" daily. Thanks, MGMT". I proceeded to put the balloons back, and texted my boss, she stated to talk to a manager to see what they can do for us. I proceed to stand in the 8 people in front of me line, to talk to the cashier. As I was waiting patiently, I noticed another employee stocking the shelves. I politely excused myself, and asked nicely to speak to a manager, she then replied she was the manager, she was not wearing a name tag so I was not completely sure she was or not, I also did not ask for her name. I began asking her about the sign I was pointed to when retrieving the balloons myself, and asked if she would let me buy 5 and come back around and continue to do so till I had the amount I needed. She then said "No because of the shortage she would not be able to let me do that" I had explained to her respectfully back what the balloons were for and she again declined me and I said ok and walked out of the store (Sheffield Village, OH). I then called my boss and explained what happened and she told me to just forget it and come back to work. Needless to say my boss and I are not happy with our results, I ended up taking our business elsewhere. We understand there might be a shortage of helium but the fact that you were not able to help with our requests or work with us was very disappointing. We even tried calling ahead of time to get the balloons but the phones were not working. They would ring once or twice then go dead, and we tried at least 3 or 4 times.
very dirty dollar tree store 3336 9539 fields ertel road loveland oh, 45140
This specific store is always dirty with built up dirt. It frequently has empty shelves and boxes in the aisles. This store in Loveland Ohio on Fields Ertel Road is definitely not a good representation of the Dollar Tree Stores. Your sales would go up if the store was cleaner! Please see attached pictures taken a few days ago. The entire store is extremely dirty! the board of health needs to inspect this store since it sells food.
coupon
I was in your store number 2443 in Opelousas Louisiana, i was trying to use a 50 cent off coupon for some toothpaste, it was a legitimate coupon but for some unknown reason it was not accepting it, I went to get the manager only for her to come with an attitude and attempt to reprimand the cashier, she was very ugly didn't even want to give me the number to cooperate and repeatedly telling me you can call corporate it's not like they are going to do anything we have rules and regulations we need to follow . also the location where the store is located the parking lot needs to be repaired I actually have pictures I can email it to you, someone will get hurt .it's other things also but please call me and do a follow up

product not bagged
On April 20, 2019 I went to store # 2701 to shop. After purchasing 18 items I took my bags to the car. There I went to get the Hersey bar and found it and 7 other things missing. I promptly went back in the store to inquire where my items were. The checker Seven wasn't out front so another gal attempted to help me. She then differed to an older gal who told me that the customer behind me probably got my bag that wasn't given to me. No offer to make it right! At that time I left because I would have been rude in dealing with this woman. I don't care if something is 10 cents or ten dollars I want what I paid for. Please help me make this right. List of what wasn't bagged: dog treats, 3 Cheezits, tube of candy with bunny on top, milkyway fun size, pens and Hersey bar. $7.89 total plus tax.
Correction on checker name, Deven.
My email is mayerp1951@gmail
When you are too stupid to check that you took everything with you, you have no right calling grown women "gals" Basically someone that needs a babysitter to check that she took everything she bought with her should not be referring to adults as "gals"
customer service/store cleanliness and organization
I live in Speedway, IN. I regularly use the Dollar Tre stores in Speedway, IN & 38th Street Indianapoli, IN & the Dollar Tree on Lafayette Road Indianapolis, IN
I don't know what is going on but these stores used to be amazing! Now there are so many boxes in the isles that your customers can't get through the isles. Boxes are stacked so high & wide that customers can't see what is on the shelves or get to the items on shelves. Products are thrown everywhere! These stores are beginning to resemble trash dumps! In addition to this, most stores only have 1 cashier & lines that go half way through the store. These are the only stores in this area with such pitiful conditions. Dollar Tree has always been a regular part of our lives. We are now starting to look at other stores, stores that want our business. You definitely need to have someone from corporate checking on these stores. They are shameful!
store and parking lot
I visited Dollar Tree at 5975 Colerain Ave. Cincinnati ohio 45239 today and I was so disappointed. The employees were so rude and acted as if they were miserable and didnt want to be there. The parking lot was a total mess looked like it had not been cleaned up in a few months and the trash cans right. by the front doors were completely over flowing from the tops. There were people to lazy to park and walk so they were parking In handicap and up against the front doorway sidewalk which made it rough for customers to get in and out. Noone working acknowledged this and asked if reminded them that they cannot park there. The trash was a total embarrassment for me as i know there is no reason for this. Please help. Here are a few pictures from the lot as well.
unacceptable behavior
As I was visiting the store April 19, 2019 I was at the 7001 W. Cermak Rd Berwyn, Illinois 60402 location. I was getting some of my Easter shopping out the way. When I heard one of the employees with a band tag on and the name said Imelda. Well she was calling an another lady employee stupid. Really insulting her in front of customers. I understand that it's a job however intimidating that poor girl she looked so worried and scared and embarrassed. That is considered harassment and isn't in any way shape or form a professional individual. That is very disrespectful most importantly in a work environment. That I believe is unacceptable behavior. This lady by the name of Imelda should be reprimanded or fired. This person is looking for a good lawsuit against her.in my opinion.
I’m also reporting this to the better business bureau that this gets handled
customer service
The customer service in the evening hours at the 24th st store in port huron, mi needs severe help. The cashiers have long lines and call for help and no help shows up. I have actually left my things and walked out after waiting for 15 minutes to be rang up. I have seen employees walking around and are oblivious to the calls. I really like this store, it's clean and well organized but the management needs to be more aware of what's going on with their cashiers. I have shopped there during the day and it's always been a pleasure. I won't be shopping no longer at night.
employee claim
I would like to report the store manager of this store for manipulate me a former employee, against an assistant manager. I was not going to fill the claim and she manipulated me into it. She doesn't train her employees in order for them to fail, if she feel that a person is better and intelligent at the job she does everything to make them quit. She me...

I went into the local dollar tree located at 1460 w. Airline highway in laplace, la on april 16, 2019, at approximately 7:20 p.M. I went straight to the only open register and asked to exchange three blue rectangular tablecloths for purple. The cashier was busy, but another lady walked up and informed me that exchanges were no longer allowed without a receipt. I asked her when did that change, because I am in that store at least 4 times a week. She then said, "that's what they told us we had to do now. I said that's horrible. I then preceded to go to the back of the store to get purple tablecloths, frozen strawberries, and a roll of tape for my tape gun. I had my bag in my hand and had picked up two purple tablecloths and was looking for the tape. The same lady appears out of nowhere and screams,"ma'am I know what you're doing."my intentions were to pick up the tape, then the frozen strawberries. I was near the plastic containers at this point. I said,"excuse me."she said,"you are trying to exchange the tablecloths anyway."I said,"no i'm not, I am looking for tape."she then yelled,"get out","call the police!"I asked,"do you know who I am?"I said,"ma'am that is theft and I don't do theft."she kept yelling get out and don't come back. She also said,"I know what you look like."I told her I intended to report this and even retain counsel for public embarrassment. She replied,"my name is tammy." this happened at 1460 west airline highway in laplace, la.
employee behavior
I was waiting for the dollar tree in hamburg, in, store #115 to open. It was april 17, 2019 at 9 in the morning.I was waiting with another customer, he tapped on the door since they were 5 minutes late opening. She came to the door and hollered, you'll wait till I open the door.then when she came back, I was looking in the window at some nearby murchandise, when she came and starred at me in a threatening manner.once the door was opened, she was very rudeshe apparently wasn't too busy, she then went to her office, and w ent outside, sat in a bench and started smoking. I usually am there at least once a week, i'll never go back in there again. I can't believe you allow someone who is that rude to work in customer service. It seems like there is new staff everytime I go in therw, I can see why now. I work long hours in the healthcare field, and if we ever talked to patients or family the way she treated the customers that morning, we would be fired..you definitely need to have training on customer service and how customers should be treated, because apparently she is m in the wrong field.
drunk and high management store 3498
On Saturday 4-13-2019 we were at store 3498 23 mile and Gratiot . We were at the back of the Store when Four of the employees came out of the back room. They all smelled like Whiskey and Weed! The black cashier was one of the four. She said that she had to close the store because two of the people were the managers they were too wasted to work. Even though she started that morning. She seemed a little messed up too. There was a short blonde with a big nasty mouth. She was dropping F bombs every other word. I hate to say this but we have to shop somewhere else. My grandkids do not have to hear that kind of language! There was a taller skinny dark haired young women and the fourth was a guy with a beard. I have a question what kind of business are you people running. I have complained before but nothing was done to correct this kind of behavior. There are other dollar stores! I do like the convenience of the store but like I said nobody needs kids hearing foul language like that and seeing the drunks you call Managers! I told my friends you watch nothing will be done even though I let you know!

I have been continuously leaving messages to return my calls and never got a call back, I seriously need to speak to somebody about my wrong doing of being fired, I was severly sick in the hospital with the worst infection for 8 days, at that time as soon as I got out i was fired and not by a manager by a regular employee, I know for a fact its against the law to fire somebody when they are sick, please contact me at [protected], my name is Sharon Richey, I was working at the dollar store on lowry ave in jeannette, pa.If I do not hear from you in a couple days you will be hearing from my lawyer, thank you
complaint on manager mary-closing store early & rude
I want to register a complaint on behalf of 3 different customers about a Manager named Mary at your Crenshaw/ 57th location. On Sunday, April 15, 2019, the Dollar Tree at 5710 Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles, CA closed approximately 10-15 minutes early and very different from the posted hours. The manager, Mary, was at the door with another man and had the door locked as customers walked up she turned them down saying she wanted close now with no explanation. I saw several customers being turned away when I drove up but couldn't believe it was because she was closing early. Another upset customer outside said she was refusing to open the door as early as 8:45pm. That is ridiculous. I traveled all the way to that 1 Dollar Tree and knew I would make it in time to purchase an item that I really needed. I told Mary that I would be quick and they could still close early with 7-8 minutes to spare. When I asked to speak with the Manager, Mary rudely snapped "No, I am 'the' Manager." I then became more frustrated with her nasty and nonchalant attitude than the fact that she was closing down the business early. I am a longstanding customer and it is not fair to treat me and the other customers that way. If she had a personal reason why she needed to leave early she should have politely explained that, many customers would then understand. She acted as if we were the enemy for just wanting to come in and purchase merchandise.
If this location's policy is to close at 8:45pm then it should be properly posted at that time, and not at 9pm when there is no a sole on the premises or even in the business. Also, Mary needs training on positive customer service.

Store #3260
I've used this store constantly in the past 10 or more years. However upon many visits recently the shelves are not stocked, some empty plus a cart for of unpacked merchandise in the front of the store, yet I saw 3 workers there ? very disappointed, I spent $48 but I could of spent way more had the merchandise been on the shelves.
Also I noticed 2 employees going in and out of the office along with 2 other people that didn't appear to work there and coming out of office with bags ? Found that rather odd.
I asked why is the store so under stocked, she said because they are waiting on a truck? Doubt that, there's way too many shelves that are empty or near empty.
VERY unhappy with this store, looks like it needs more ambitious managers and staff.
TY for your time and HOPE this store gets better.

rude employees and assistant manager
This has gotten to be overboard with the rude treatment by the assistant manager and a few employees and refusal to let my granddaughter get a paper for her mom that has a broken leg all because she rode in the same car with me. The refusal to take coupons when we know they work there and being treated like dirt. Anyine who goes in that store that use...
Read full review of Dollar Treehorrible treating by the manager about an overcharge...
Today at 13:39 we were at our favorite place for party supplies and holiday stuff. We were buying a congrats balloon and 9 more items for a friend that landed a great job. We were accidentally double charged for one item and the cashier apologized saying it was her first day., but she needed the managers help to return the extra dollar. A very pregnant, and very young, person that said she was the manager rudely said, "We don't give refunds!" We explained it was an over charge by one item not a refund and she replied, We don't do that, go pick another item." Honestly, this person does NOT deserve a job dealing with people. She came off as a horrible person and a terrible representative of the dollar tree and certainly should not be in a position of power like manager of the store.
We will now go to the dollar store in Sherwood instead for our party and holiday supplies and wanted you to know that you lost us as long time customers over one dollar ... and a horrid attitude from your store manager.
For more info, please feel free to email me at [protected]@gmail.com
Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully demote that rude person in your employ.

Every time I go in Dollar Tree to get a Dr. Pepper, they are always hot. Dollar Tree employees should fill there coolers the night before, after they close. Customers, like me, do not like to buy hot drinks. I would like the drink I buy to be cold. It would be nice for the employees to either fill the coolers up the night before, or make sure they put the cold drinks in front of the hot drinks.
One other thing, the employees there seem to like parking in the very front parking spaces, which should be for the customers to park and shop there. The manager, who drives a white truck parks in the front parking spot right in front of the door. All employees should park further out, like everyone else who has stores in that little outlet mall area.
Thanks, I hope to see some improvement.

IF she said she was manager she probably was. Why do you and your boss think you are so special that the rules do not apply to you.
