2003 ford windstar rear axel break and other defects
My 2003 ford Windstar was recalled back in 2011 for a factory defect on the rear axle. "Due to the shape and design, left a collection site for road salts and debris causing rust and corrosion thus weakening the system. Of which leading to breakage and unsafe, hazardous driving conditions" upon inspection they determined at that time, there were no cracks or breaks in my axle so they would apply brackets as a "sufficient fix" as they were only replacing the axles that had cracks or breaks. A couple years later my rear axle did break. I looked under my car to assess the damage to find that it broke right under the bracket that was said to fix the defective part. Also that under both brackets there was extreme corrosion, rust, cracks and holes. I had to have my van towed to the Ford repair shop. I had not heard back from them for a week, to call them and they apparently misplaced my information, at that time I was told they would need a couple days to do an assessment and submit the information to Ford motor company . A week later I called again to learn that ford denied the claim, it would not be covered under the recall because "they fixed it with the brackets". I was told it was going to cost $648.75 for parts and $480 for labor, additionally there is a current recall on the front end they would fix and would be covered under the new recall. I told him not to do any work on my van, as I was going to file a complaint. I have called the customer service number multiple times asking to speak to a manager of which I was denied every time;I was "being patched through" and the line went dead, I was argued with that they had just spoken with me and gave me the information I needed and put through to a survey, and another time put back to the beginning prompts and made to start over. I again contacted the repair shop to let them know I was having problems with customer service and would need some time. I had already been without a vehicle for approximately three weeks and was forced to buy a new vehicle so that I could get my 3 children to school and me to work. So I went to the repair shop as I needed the license plates for my new car and left a message for the mechanic to call me. And did not receive a call. I attempted to email the Ford motor company and received no response. I called again to the repair shop and left a voicemail and another week later I have not heard back. Now months have gone by and I still have no answers and can only assume at this point that my van is still sitting at the repair shop. I will not pay to replace a defective part that was recalled, and the installed brackets only caused more spaces and gaps for more debris to collect as the bracket areas are the only place where the axel was infact corroding and should go back to the original recall. I had put alot of money into this vehicle to keep it running. I would like this situation dealt and demand a response.
nfl sponsorship
How dare you support the disgraceful acts of the NFL and their total disrespect of the flag and the USA by not standing for the national anthem. There are many ways to protest but you never disrespect the flag and what it stands for. Your pathetic excuse by saying you support their right is not flying with me. Of course they have a "right" but you do not disrespect my father who served in WWII and my uncle who served in the Korean war and many of my friends who died in Vietnam. I own a Ford pickup truck but never buying another Ford product.

I have been a Ford enthusiast for over a half century. My Grandfather started with a Model T. My Dad, a WWII veteran, always owned Fords and Mercs. My first rig was a '37 Ford Pickup, and I currently own a 2013 F-150. I am also a US Marine veteran, with a Nam tour under my belt. My pride in the uniform and love for my country will stay with me the rest of my life. However, if Ford continues to support the NFL and a bunch of overpaid, whiney little [censor] who think that life is handing them a raw deal, then there is no more Ford in my future.
Do the math, Ford executives. Are you going to get enough NFL players to buy your products to make up for those of us leaving because of your obvious disrespect for our service to this country? Remember, you need to sell those new Fords much more than we need to buy them!
I'm about due for a new F-150. Any of you guys have a smokin' deal on new Dodges?!
Freedom of speech or expression is protected against Gov. restrictions. Work place can and have rules that restrict the right. Ford has them at their company I am sure. If Ford believes that it is in their best interest to side with those workers who would be disrespectful to the nation the ford needs to realize that they have offended me and I will with draw my financial support through the purchase of their products
I have been a FORD fanatic since I owned my 1968 Mustang Fastback as a teenager. Nothing but FORD cars, trucks and hot rods. For FoMoCo to agree with the NFL to disrespect the anthem and thereby dishonor Veterans just takes the cake. I am ashamed to even be associated with Ford as an owner. Good riddance to your treasonous attitude, and that goes double for the NFL. I will not throw another dime your way. EVER.
That's just absurd Ford saying that NFL players have 1st amendment rights to disrespect the flag. I'm a Vietnam Veteran and 30 year Ford blue collar retiree. My 1st amendment right of free speech did not exist working for Ford, their were many rules we had to follow on our speech and what we could post in our work area. Ford Motor Company continue support of the NFL is a protest against their customers and the USA!
cops die soldiers die for country nfl players make it rain in strip joints Hey stripper buy a ford
Next purchase will be a chevy truck
I hope Ford is just as understanding and supportive of my decision to switch to Toyota as they are of the NFL decision to spit in the face of those who served to defend all of our Freedoms.
I am a former combat vet – two tours in Vietnam. My family is on our sixth, seventh, and eighth Ford product. I’ve bought nothing by Ford’s for the last 25 years. However, if you continue to support these NFL idiots who can’t respect our flag and our country, there will never be another Ford in this family.
Sadly I will not be purchasing Ford products anymore. It seems Ford supports the NFL's decision on not honoring flag & country. I love or did love the F-150's in the past. Now I am looking elsewhere. Toyota seems to be calling me. The NFL and ESPN have also been lying with the attendance numbers! Watching the audience at the stadiums shows this. Viewership is down also.
2017 ford f-150
My husband found a new 2017 F150 he wanted on their website and submitted an inquiry. He was contacted on Saturday by salesman Gary Smith. He picked out a vehicle and made an appointment. We drove over 2 hours, he test drove the vehicle, and decided to buy it. He put down his down payment, did the financing, and signed all the paperwork and was told the vehicle had a recall for the rear seatbelt and could not leave the lot until it was inspected. They said they would deliver it to us the next day. We was assured it was nothing major and Gary stated he would call us the next day at noon. When Gary didn't call at noon my husband contacted him and Gary stated he was in a meeting and would find out the status of the truck. He called back and said he wasn't sure when the truck would be ready and they were looking for another vehicle on the lot that he could buy. The experience kept getting worse and as the day went on they stopped answering the phone. We finally talk to someone in finance and told them we wanted our down payment back and no longer wanted the vehicle. They tried to say we were being unreasonable but when you buy a brand new vehicle for close to 40, 000 you would like to leave the lot with it. We asked when would we get our down payment back and he hung up the phone.
support for nfl
I am so very disappointed that you are not condemning the NFL view on not supporting this great country. It was this country that gave Henry Ford
the opportunity to start this wonderful corporation and now when you have the chance to show your support for all of the men who have given their lives and limbs for the American flag. Here you are taking a passive approach, I served in Viet Nam and you have no idea how horrible that
war was. Now you have a chance to stand up for the country and the vets
and you take the passive no stance approach.
Shame on you.
My loyalty has been there for you when I buy my F-150 every few years, why can't you support me?
Tom Austin
I left GM when they where bailed out by the government / unions.
I have driven a ford since then. F150- rear axle bearing fry like a egg at 110k miles
I will leave Ford if they don't support the flag.
My suggestion would be to buy a Z71 prior to 2008 and rebuild it. Under a 15 k investment will run as long as a new ford
Due to Ford's sponsorship of the NFL, I have removed Ford from consideration in any vehicle purchase. Your company's disregard for our country, the men and women who have fought, been injured (mentally or physically or both), and died is appalling. These people fought for the freedoms these people are disgracing and disrespecting. The United States has freedoms unlike no other country. Send these ball players to Africa, any country, and see if they'd like to live there instead. Better yet, enroll them in the military and have them fight ISIS . If they think they have it badly here, send them to Cabo after a hurricane, or even before a hurricane. Give up their nice home and live in a cardboard house. I could go on and on. Suffice to say that any company, Ford included, who supports or promotes the NFL will not receive a penny from me.
I just bought a 2017 Escape in Oct. 2016 . Never will I buy another Ford as long as you support the NFL players disrespecting our national anthem, our flag, our police and our president . I don't turn on the tv to watch a football game and support anti -American protests supported by Ford sponsor money . You support these players and I will spend my money on another car brand .
Hope the NFL players buy a lot of ford vehicles, since Ford decided to back the players right to protest while they are getting paid to do their job. Protest during the national anthem of the greatest country on this earth, the country that allows them to make millions of dollars playing a game. The national anthem represents the men and women who have served in our military and the ones that have given the ultimate sacrifice I will not be purchasing another Ford vehicle.
Boy! I saw the post on Fb and didn't read it thoroughly! As a 31 year streak buyer of new Ford vehicles I guess I thought you were more like me and would denounce the disrespect for our flag, our Veterans and our President! I was shocked later to see Ford as among the yet supporters! This cuts deep! You are now, in my mind what is wrong with America! You are a coward and not bold to stand for the ideals of America! America has made Ford a huge company and yet you choose the side of these self-centered childish people that don't have a focused idea of what they are rebelling against! I have changed my mind about your company FORD and I am going to purchase elsewhere! This is like loosing a family to me! But that how it cuts! You are no longer making America proud!
I’m very disappointed that Ford has chosen to support the nfl players right to disrespect our national anthem. Choice have consequences. I own an F250 4x4. It’s been a great truck and I planned to buy a new one later this year. But now I will give serious consideration to a Dodge. Dan Stricklin, Fort Worth, Texas
You understand that the foundation of the protest is this guy, right? Shame on you Ford.

FORD helped me decide my next truck purchase. And its not a FORD. I been trying to decide what I wanted now I know. You don't support me and my Sisters and Brothers from the armed forces we don't support you. Also no support or respect of my brothers in Law enforcement we don't support FORD. I love America and what we have done for the world and our flag and anthem state it. Oh and the NFL is not supported by me anymore also.
I am disappointed at your stance of supporting these athletes who choose this venue for their protest. I printed a list of sponsors and will use it faithfully as I shop.
I also am very disapointed with Ford's position. I want to know exacty how to remove every Ford emblem on my F150. Then don't count on getting my next purchase.
2011 ford raptor purchase
I purchased a 2011 Raptor at Torrance California in May 2013 with 13, 000 miles for $55, 000.00.I also paid for the 100, 000 mile warranty. It had extras on at the time in the dealership.
I paid a premium for these extras which was OK. One of the extras was an aftermarket air filter. In its 6th year the truck was due its first Smog. Which it failed as filter is not legal in California. I went to dealership but got the "what do you expect us to do?"
All I want is it to be LEGAL and pass smog. I could go into the fact I paid extra for something that has to be removed.
Registration is out in 3 days and will not be able to drive it.
Need this resolved
losing a 20 year customer.
I have owned 11 new fords in 23 years. My husband and parents have bought many fords. Today you lost us all and many more. Why? Saying that these kneeing protests are part of what makes america great?! Seriously?!?! Protesting our country (The flag, the police and military that keep us safe and our president - even if you don't agree with some of his policies decent people still respect the office) takes aim at the sacrifices of soooo many and continues to further divide it's people. The country who's people (Fans) pay their salaries. Snubbing the very thing that makes them filthy rich. Kind of an oxymoron huh? Do you know that the nfl game that was just played in london had american nfl players kneeling for our athem but stood for god save the queen? That is a slap in the face to people like my son who is in the air force and puts his life on the line for [censor] who disrespect what he's willing to give his life for? Have you seen the nfl ratings tanking at an historic rate? Well if you want your stock to crash go ahead and stand by your comment. If I was you and I wanted to keep my customer base I would make an apology for that idiotic statement immediately. Look and see what these boycotts are doing to businesses who side with those that disrespect its customers. Look at your customer demographic, especially those who buy your trucks and rethink. We have supported companies like you with our hard earned money. We will take that money to those who have the courage to show pride and respect for this country and the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect it. Enough of this anti-american nonsense. We have had enough.
nfl sponsor ford just made a statement on national anthem protest - facebook post
Dear Ford -
I am very disappointed and disgusted in your view of the National Anthem Protests. Your statement is a cop-out. You should be pulling your advertising. Seems like America has been pretty dang good to you.
While I do hold our 1st Amendment rights with very high regard, there is a time and a place to do so. An NFL football game is not the time nor the place. I am paying someone to entertain me at sporting events. I want to see these teams PLAY THE GAME. I do not want to see them express their political views...I don't care about their political views. I see politics everywhere and I sure do not want to see politics when I have paid lots of money (money I work very hard for) to see athletic competition that is meant for my entertainment. THEY NEED TO PROTEST ON THEIR OWN TIME. Just because they have this platform does not make it right to use it for this purpose.
By the way, I am looking for a new vehicle. I'm currently driving a 2005 Escape. Thought I might be getting another Ford (since you made the Escape so ugly, I was thinking about purchasing an Explorer)...but now I'm leaning toward GMC...maybe a Chevy.
I agree with Lisa's comments. I also have an 2007 Escape, and I was planning to upgrade to the new Escape with an Ecoboost engine with AWD. Since the disappointing announcement of your corporate support to the whining NFL players' protest during the National Anthem and the disrespect to the lives of our military and first repsonders, who have provided our present freedom and liberties, the present FORD will be my last vehicle that I will own until I find a replacement. Please also note that I have been a FORD owner since 1976.
Disappointed,
Leon Chuck
2016 ford f-350
I was just recently involved in a head on collision with a tree when I lost control of my vehicle, which is a new 2016 Ford F-350, on August 24th, 2017. This accident resulted in a total of 5 surgeries in less then 11 days! I have severe trauma & other related injuries that will require more surgeries. The entire front end of my truck was pushed back about 2-3 feet & none of my airbags deployed! Neither driver side nor passenger side air bags deployed...let alone any of the side airbags! I've had no luck in dealing with anyone from Ford Corporate & would like to know how I can get someone to help me address this issue? I've called everyone I could think of, but have had no luck. I was actually told by Ford Customer Relations that I needed to read my owners manual to find out why my airbags didn't deploy! Can you believe that's what they told me?! True story! I was completely dumbfounded by their comment. So if you can help me, then please feel free to contact me at: [protected]
or via email @ [protected]@yahoo.com
Thank you for your time & response to this matter!

totaled truck while in for service at dealership - lack of customer support
Hello,
On Friday, July 21st, I took my 2014 Ford F150 for service to Sheehy Ford in Springfield, VA. The truck was coming up to the end of its 3 year warranty, only had 13K miles and was a real garage queen with not a scratch on it. It really was perfect and even still had the "new car smell." In summary, this story is about a truck that was in for service at the Sheehy Ford dealership, was totaled in a accident while in their possession and the dealership's unwillingness to replace the truck other than offering me a comparable used replacement or $200 off their listed internet price on a new comparable truck. You decide if you think the dealership provided a sufficient response given the circumstances. If you want to skip the details, jump to the last three paragraphs.
Around 4PM I received a call from the Sheehy service manager, Jose Chevez, that my truck was involved in a serious accident. It was a head on collision caused by another driver who came across the center line of a two way road. Thankfully neither the Sheehy service technician or the other driver was seriously injured. The other driver was cited for the accident and the Sheehy service manager assured me that the dealership would help me anyway they could and provided details and pictures of the accident to me.
Because Sheehy was not found at fault for the accident, what began for me was a 2 month nightmare of dealing with other driver's small insurance company. Rather than totaling out the truck, the small insurance company (rhymes with Would You Know) seemed determined to repair the severely damaged truck. After an initial damage appraisal, they issued a check for $10K. After the truck was finally towed to an Auto Body shop 2 weeks later, it sat for another 2 weeks and a supplemental check for $8, 800 was issued. The truck sat for another 2 weeks and the work to repair the truck still had not begun and I was informed that a 3rd supplement was going to be needed. At this point, the small insurance company indicated their insured's property damage only covered up to 20K and my insurance company subrogated the claim and issued a check just shy of two months from the date of the accident.
Back to Sheehy Ford and their response to assist with me replacing my truck. During the 2 months of dealing with the insurance companies, the Service Manager assured me that once everything was finalized, we would sit down with the Sheehy, General Manager, Anthony Schivano, and see what they could do to help me replace my truck. I emailed and called the Service Manager to let him know I was now ready to move forward on replacing my truck.
Three days passed with no response, so my daughter and I went to Sheehy Ford on Sunday, September 17th. Neither the GM, Anthony Schivano or the Service Manager were there that day, but I was greeted by another sales consultant, Mary Miller. I let Mary know about my situation and that there was one truck in their new inventory that had all of the same features my 2014 had. She said she would hold the truck for me and have the GM call me on Monday morning to work something out. She said I was lucky because she knew the GM, Anthony Schivano was a great guy and would take care of me. I was relieved that I was finally going to get resolution on this entire mess.
The GM, Anthony Schivano never called me on Monday, but eventually the General Sales Manager "Matt" called me and let me know that they would knock off a couple hundred dollars of their internet price on the truck I was interested in. I told him that was unacceptable and proposed Sheehy split my out of pocket expenses to replace my truck. So for example, I received 33K for my truck, the out the door price on a new XLT would be 40K, so a $7K difference that I was hoping to split 50/50 where we would each cover $3500. Matt said those numbers wouldn't work for him and he couldn't do it, but he would take my offer back to the GM, Anthony Schivano. Both the Service Manager, Jose and the Sales Consultant, Mary called me often to let me know they were going to plead my case to the GM. So after 2 months and a week of going back and forth with Sheehy, Jose said the GM, Anthony Schivano was expecting my call on Friday morning, September 22nd.
I called Anthony Friday morning and let him know I'd like to work something out to replace my essentially new truck with one of their new trucks. From the beginning he let me know this incident was not Sheehy's fault and therefore they were under no obligation to do anything more than what was previously communicated, a couple hundred bucks off their internet price on a new truck or they would find me a comparable used truck. I let him know that the incident was not my fault either, yet I was the one who was inconvenienced over the last couple of months and dealing with an unresponsive insurance company. Again, the numbers just wouldn't work for Anthony and he let me know that I was unreasonable to expect them to concede on $3K. Yep, $3000 was too much for Sheehy to come out of pocket for this incident and to make it right. I was willing to come out of pocket $7K for a total of 40K, but the remaining 3K they wouldn't concede. Anthony said he would go back to get some updated numbers on a lower priced truck in their Richmond location. Anthony Schivano never got me back to me, no surprise there as he never once contacted during the 2 months of this incident. The sales consultant Mary Miller did call me later and let me know, neither Anthony or Matt were willing to do anything further.
This is definitely a very negative customer experience that I thought should be shared. I don't want anything from Sheehy and have moved on. But I did want to mention 2 positives in this story. I really believe the Sheehy Service Manager, Jose Chevez, really felt terrible about the entire incident and tried to plead my case to leadership at Sheehy who, I believe, are too focused on bottom line numbers. He is well suited for customer service and Sheehy should be thankful he is there. Likewise, Sales Consultant, Mary Miller was constantly speaking with me and trying to make something work out for everyone. She is another bright spot in an otherwise cut-throat organization. I think everyone, including the GM, will tell you I was always patient and professional with our interactions during this whole process.
I've owned Ford Trucks since 1986. An 85 F150, 89 Bronco, 94 F150, 2001 F150, 2 Ford Rangers, 2004 F250 and my last the 2014 F150. Unfortunately, the 2014 F150 is my last Ford based on this experience. As I've said, I've moved on and purchased a new Toyota Tacoma this morning. I won't lie, I'm really going to miss my 2014 F150, it was the best truck I ever owned. But out of principle and this experience with Sheehy Ford, I won't go back.
Very Respectfully,
Mike Stephenson

2012 focus
Constant issues with my focus. 3 clutches, reprogrammed the computer, and the transmission malfunction light flashed. Latest clutch replacement was 2 days ago and is already shuddering and grinding. The car is a lemon and ford refuses to buy it back. Ford has enriched themselves greatly at my and other focus and Fiesta owners expenses with these faulty transmissions. I bought the car because I did not want to worry about having car problems, now that's all I seem to have. I do not feel safe at all driving it. I drive below the speed limit angering drivers behind me and am a nervous wreck by the time I arrive at my destination. I definitely feel cheated and robbed. Laura sanford
2016 ford explorer navigation/seats
Good morning, I purchased a 2016 Ford explorer in Aug 2016. As of now Sept 22, 2017, It's been in service a total of 5 times in the past two months. At first it was my passenger seat starting to fray with little to no use in that seat, I drive more and the driver's side has no fraying. Then it was the third row seat starting to fray. It took Scottsdale AutoNation to get an approval for those two seats to get replaced which is 40 miles from my house so 80 total. I tried surprise Ford which is two miles from my house but they couldn't get the approval. Nice. So twice I've had to drive 40miles to Scottsdale... So total miles, 160. Then came the navigation. I get the"insert nav sd card" window popping up. I drove back out to Scottsdale for the third time (80 miles) and they checked my navigation. They did a reset and an update. Drove back home and that night I get the "insert nav sd card" window again. Called Scottsdale AutoNation and they scheduled me again to come back but I wasn't going to drive another 80 miles and put another $20 in gas to get there for the fourth time. So I called surprise Ford. They took the car in and shuttleded me home. I got my car back the next day in which they did a reset and updated everything and that night it did it again, "insert nav sd card" ughhhh frustrating. Called surprise Ford again and went over there Wednesday night. They took the car in over night and by morning Thursday they said they gave me the latest 2018 sd nav card and it looks like everything is working. Picked the car up drove a little, and that night I get the "insert nav sd card" ... Do you think I'm going nuts? So tell me, what is going on with this new 2016 Ford explorer, please? Anyone?
ford fusion
Dear concern,
I have been driving ford cars all my life and i am a very loyal ford customer.
i am writing to you now to raise a complaint that happened to me on 19/9/2017 at 10.00 AM
I took my car do to the 100 thousand km for service at the dealer. The car was working normaly with no alarms or errors everything perfectly normal.
Then after 5 hours of waiting at the dealer a service Engineer came to me and advised me that they found leakage of water and crack in the pump water and it must be changed at my own expenses and that my car is no longer working and that it will take 3 weeks to fix it.
I found it hard to belive what they were saying because i was driving my car to the dealer, which is about 30mins drive to the dealer and everything was normal and if there was anything wrong in my car, i would have felt it.
So i think that they exchanged this water pump with another car to make me pay for it.
Then when I raised the issue to the management at the dealer they told me to will repair it for me but i will have to pay half of the spare part price.
So I really found it hard to make sence or understand what they are saying to me.
Please investigate my problem so that those people at this dealer could be help accountable for their unacceptable actions that could lead to bad ford band image.
Appreciate your kind reply.
Below is my car and dealer details.

Dear Sirs,
On May 24, 2017 I signed a car order contract for a new generation Ford Fiesta Titanium car with a local dealer in Romania named Proleasing Motors in Targoviste with order registration 681 / May 24, 2017 with delivery within 80 days of signing the contract - till August 14, 2017.
In the same day I paid 4000 Ron (~ 870 Euros) in advance for ordered car, and the sales consultant told me that manufacturing order is already in the FORD global information system. This car model is being manufactured in Germany.
“Voice of the client” is that we are on September 22 and the delay in delivery order is already 40 days.
Unacceptable without compensation.
The car dealer and the Ford National Sales Company in Romania did not give me any answer regarding new deadline and amount financial compensation which I have asked since September 01, 2017.
So please analyze, investigate and decide.
The value of contract 681 / May 24, 2017 is 16945 Euro (incl. 1660 Euro - eco ticket from the Romanian government). Final customer price 15278 Euro.

certified pre-owned vehicle
I purchased a 2010 Ford Focus for my son to drive in December of 2016. I overpaid for this "CPO" vehicle from Crossroads Ford, Indian Trail NC. The transmission solenoids (3, 4, & 5) went bad in this car. My son took it to the shop to have a diagnostic performed. They told him that it would not get done that day. They did however discuss what was wrong with the vehicle. After hearing the solenoid fix would cost around $1, 000, my son left the lot. I did have the solenoids replaced, only to find out, that IS NOT the problem, and the car needs a rebuild on the transmission. Here is the most painful part, I spoke with one of the service managers on 9/9/17, only to find out that the "WARRANTY" expired on 8/8/17. Why was this not brought to my sons attention back in June when he brought the car up there for a diagnostic.
I have purchased 5 vehicles from Crossroads Ford! This will be the last Ford I ever buy. I know have a 2010 Ford Focus that I owe $9, 000 and its worth $3, 000 maybe even less now!
I also found out during the diagnostic that I paid $42.70 for, that Ford has released a bulletin about this ongoing problem with the engine of this car. Will not release a recall for the overwhelming problem! I want to Thank Ford for leaving me with a 7 year old car that costs me $400 per month (that's with insurance-full coverage) to sit in my driveway for the next 3 years! Money well spent on m y behalf!
My wife has a 2013 Ford Focus with the same shutter in the transmission. My friend work for Bob Hoffman Ford dealership in Dillsburg, PA. He told me Ford has placed an extended warranty on the Ford Focus transmissions. My wife's car's transmission is being fixed by Bob Hoffman at no cost. I recommend you call the Service Manager at Bob Hoffman to validate your car's VIN is under warranty.
factory defect - ford won't stand behind its product
2013 Ford Escape - the factory dropped the ball when producing driver's side rear doors. The inside door panel is rusted all along the bottom. The car is in pristine condition except for this issue, which many others had as well. The value of my car immediately tanked because of this and Ford won't stand behind it until there's an actual hole in it! I find it disgusting when it is clearly THEIR FAULT. Ford has lost a 40 year customer.
car battery
On 9/18/17 I had to replace my car battery on a 2016 Explorer XLT with 39, 000 miles that was approximately 26 months old. According to the Stamford Ford Dealer because of a bad cell in the battery. This $174 expense was neither covered by the warranty nor the extended care that I had previously purchased. I am very disappointed with quality of Ford's factory installed battery and should be appropriately compensated.
Sincerely,
Anthony Conte

Dear Sir/Madam
Re: (2015 F-150)
On (11/25/2015) I purchased a motor vehicle from said dealership (2015 Ford F-150). Unfortunately, the vehicle has not been satisfactory because, within the first 1, 200 miles I had taken it into 2 dealerships to diagnose a clunk, of course they knew right away what the issue was, 2- piece drive shaft. Unfortunately my truck does not have the two- piece which eventually meant THERE WAS NO ISSUE go figure. I continued to drive my vehicle as needed for work and to make the payment, the problem had progressed to a point where I was certain there would be denying an issue. So I took the vehicle in for a drivability issue Stabil Track kept coming on, I was told this is spark plugs and filters and oh by the way these are not covered and will be $850.00 to install. I concede and ask them to make certain they take it for a road test. I was assured this would happen and was told it did happen and all was fine.
Next morning I leave for work, guess what that same issue again, took it back to the dealership (12 hours from picking it up the first time- 3 days in the shop) I asked what exactly had I paid for and was assured that was the issue, I asked the rep to please go for a ride, before we could leave the parking lot, she was telling me to go back something is coming apart and is wrong. Was told it was a vacuum line to the front 4wd hub, my truck spends the next 6 days in the shop (we are up to 9 now).
When I pick it up all seems fine, I drove it home parked for the night, and go to leave for work. I made it from Nampa to Mountain Home before YUP same issue again. Called and left messages at all levels of Corwin no response given in 2 hrs, my wife called and asked for someone to call me and told them of the situation, of course no one received the voicemail's from 2 hrs. ago, I was instructed to call roadside and have it towed (09/11) in to Mountain Home Auto Ranch, which I did. Of course never a loaner car available, I had to call my wife to leave work and make the 140 mile drive to come and pick me up. I had received a voicemail from the Mountain Home Auto Ranch on 09/14 asking for a call back, I tried with no response so on 09/15 I made the 140 mile drive to try and get a response from someone. There was miscommunication and the back breaks checked out fine, I then proceed to inform them the issue is in the front axle and to check what exactly Corwin had fixed as this was still the problem. I did ask them to write that there was no issue with my truck and that I would take it from them right then. They said let them look into it, it is now 09/19 with no communication had (8 days-17 shop total)
I would appreciate it if you could organize to have the problem fixed/use another repairer to fix the problem by (09/22). As I am sure you can appreciate, I rely on my car for transport and apart from the inconvenience, this problem has also caused me to incur additional cost (I have now lost $2, 250 in weekly truck allowance from my employer as well as 4 days loss wages @ 51.00 an hour $1, 632, not to mention my wife's loss and time. So who is making my $750 Truck payment and when will I be reimbursed for the performance misdiagnose?
I look forward to settling this matter amicably. If, however, the matter is not satisfactorily resolved by (09/22), I will consider taking further action to resolve the complaint via the Attorney General's Office (Consumer Protection Law i.e. Idaho Lemon Law).

java
Unblock it. Sure turn it off "by default" but don't ban it. Companies rely on java programs, and to just have you up and out ban java completely is a big [protected]@king problem for it people that supported firefox as the primary browser. Let us turn it on! You speak of "free and open internet" but you outright ban protocols? What the hell is wrong with you?
I've edited this, and please stop being [censored]bags about java.

2, 000km - oil drops from transfer case dripped on hot muffler and was smoking into the vehicle - replaced seal under warranty
10, 000km - flux in the Heater core caused there to be no heat. This occurred in the middle of winter and I had to wait over a month with no heat. - flushed under warranty
20, 000km - heater still didn’t work and had to be flushed again. Heater never did work properly - flushed under warranty
80, 000km - rear axle was leaking, I used brake fluid to clean the vent to correct
90, 000km - Front end making noise to to dealer and they changed front sway bars - this seem to make it worse and when turned left at slow speed it sounded like the front wheel was going to fall off - constantly grunting and growning.
100, 000km - Transmission started shifting erratically - at slow speed it would shift stuttering for no reason and at high speed acceleration it would a loud clunk - TPS and OSS sensors need to be changed?
120, 000km - SOLD
A couple of weeks ago I was able to sell this vehicle off and that will be the last I see of Ford.
