Jewel-Osco Delivery service/ poor customer service

To whom this may concern,
I ordered a delivery from my local jewel and when it was delivered, I found a bottle of BLEACH shower cleaner in with all of my dairy items. The bottle of bleach broke during packing and ruined all my dairy items. When I called to inquire about resolving the issue, I was told to call back in the morning. That pissed me off because the person taking my complaint should have had the manager call me in the morning. Talk about getting the run around. Then in the morning when I called they told me to bring the item back in for a refund. Why didnt they offer to refund the delivery fee and tip I paid for? Call me to resolve [protected]

Jewel-Osco On-line shopping

I have used Jewel Osco 3 or 4 times for on-line shopping since the COVID crisis. Each time, I pick up the groceries since I do not live close to the store. Each time there has been an issue with my order or groceries. Issues have included: the carton of eggs contained one or two cracked eggs, the bakery bread was not covered, so when it was being placed in my car, it was completely exposed, although all other items were in a bag, incorrect item/missing item from my order.

The latest issue is that I chose a specific time when I began my on-line order but by the time I completed it and went to check out and pay, I could not check out because I had to now choose a later time which is too late for my schedule, and the following day was forecast for rain, which was the main reason for my placing an order today.

There is no information on Jewel Osco's website stating that the order has to be checked out and THEN you choose the time - in fact, the first thing you are asked to do is choose the time you plan to pick up/have it delivered. Why then, when I chose my time, was it not held until I checked out? Minimally, there should be a statement informing the public of how far in advance the order should be placed, or a countdown clock should be shown to let the Customer know how much time they have to place the order. Instead, the statement that is shown is that Customers cannot edit an order once placed, which is also another problem.

Such disrespect for a Customer's time. It took me over an hour to go through the entire process of ordering all of my grocery items only to have to do it all over again with another store.

Extremely poor service by a company that has 185 stores nationwide and such disrespect for Customers. I'm very surprised that your store has survived in spite of your extremely poor service. If there were other options, I would have used them consistently. I have been using another store, however, they do not have all of the items so on occasion I find the items at Jewel. However, I've been shopping there less and less and will eventually stop. It used to be my primary grocery store when I lived in the immediate area.

I have complained to Jewel Osco's Customer Service, but nothing seems to change, so obviously you don't listen to your Customer's feedback. Very disappointing.

Store does not enforce customers wearing masks. Employees don't even wear them. Went to deli, no one behind counter hand masks or gloves. Employees looked dirty. Went to service desk talked to store manager who said nothing he can do. I'll start shopping at Walmart

State mask regulation violation: The woman at the service desk wore her mask on only her mouth. When I asked her to cover her nose while I filled out the FedEx info, she was rude and abrupt for the rest of the process. As I went around the store, all the personal shoppers wore their masks correctly. However, at checkout, only mouths were covered or the mask was woren around their necks for nearly all jewel employees.

I submitted a job application to Jewel Osco in Chesterton, IN on March 25th, 2020. No one reached out to me until I called the store Friday afternoon. I asked to speak to a manager. Jewel-Osco Horrible-made incorrectly

The smoked mozzarella penne salad was made incorrectly. Where was the mozzarella? Or the tomatos? Or the prosciutto? The deli clerk said it arrives made and they just add the veggies. Well they added onion, red and green pepper and sauce was horrific. See for yourself-maybe hire people that know what they sell and what is SUPPOSED to be in it. GROSS!
