Dear Highly esteemed Kia team
This is the worst ever experience with Kia motor that I am sharing through this complaint. I heard about Kia seltos through an advertisement and I visitedt to ur Mohali branch on 23 Nov 19, took a test drive of the vehicle and booked Kia seltos on spot with the booking amount of RS 25000. They committed the undersigned to give the delivery of the vehicle in the month of December. I got a call from the executive on 27 regarding despatch of the vehicle. The undersigned was glad to know about the fair commitment and delivery of the vehicle in December. Further I told the concern that I will take the delivery of the vehicle on 8 Dec 2019 that s Sunday. The point that I will take delivery on Sunday was clearly stated to the concerned staff on day one and as per him there was no issue regarding the same. moreover the payment terms we're also clear on day1 that I WL do partial payment through my account and the rest payment will be done thru banks payorder. I did a follow up call to concerned staff on 5 the 6 the and 7 the December. on 7 the December when I was leaving from my place I got a call from the senior of the concern staff that we do not deliver cars on Sunday and the justification givens by him was the concern staff who book the vehicle was not aware about the same. The communication from the senior of the concerned staff was done thru phn. he was sounding rude while talking and when I told the senior staff that I have aready transfered RS 1.5 lakh on 7th Dec for delivery on 8th of December then also he told me that I am helpless and can't do anything regarding the same. The senior staff was sounding very rude as and when I told him that I will cancel the booking. The
The reply was"OK NO ISSUES".
Is this kind of service, hiring of such incompetent staff expected from the emerging India's forth largest automobile. I will surely buy the vehicle. It is just a feedback shared for a worst experience with Kia motors.

kia recall engine failure
Hello, in 2016 purchased a used 2012 kia optima. engine froze up 6 months in, got warranty to come look, said they will cover it since it wasnt my fault..then ended up arguing that it was kias fault for a poor engine built because of recall for engine failure so they wouldnt pay for it. but when the inspectors came to look at my car they took my engine out and kia said they wont take it like that. mechanic said he lost my parts, kia said they will charge me for parts missing. mechanic wouldnt let me take my car out without paying for taking engine out which is understandable but was charging around 4, 000 and wouldnt work out a payment plan. i then lost my car becuase he kept it. california lemon law was going to help but said because i purchased in ohio i need to reach out to ohio lemon law. ive contacted kia many times and get no response back so some kind of compensation but got nothing. now have thousands on my credit for the payment on that car. dont even know where the car is anymore but have all the paperwork & title for it. im hoping your able to help me. i lost my job for not having a car, lost alot of money for towing and renting cars for work etc. im on my feet now but i would like some justice for what i had to go through because of kias poor engine build. alot of people are experiencing this and no one is doing something about it so ive been contacting people to actually get something done. thank you!

I've had issues with both Kia stores in Louisville, KY. I own a 2015 Kia Soul, and the problems I've had with Kia date back to last year (Oct 2018) at the Kia Store East. After being conned out of over $800 for repairs that my car didn't need at the time, my battery died two days later after being in the shop. The technician did a battery test, which said my battery was ok. It obviously needed replacement if it died two days later. I ended up calling AAA to replace my battery to resolve that issue. Fast forward to the summer of this year (around June 2019), I brought my car back to Kia Store East because my car was using a large amount of oil within a short period of time. I've always followed scheduled maintenance for oil changes, but on this occasion my car had almost burned all of the oil in it. I was told that I needed to start the oil consumption test and bring the car back in 1, 000 miles. I brought the car back again and was instructed to do this two more times. After doing this I still received no answer as to why my car was using so much oil.
For my August appointment, I requested the shuttle service a day in advance. I was told to arrive by 7:15am because the driver leaves at 7:30am. I arrived at about 7:12am on a Friday morning, checked in, and was then told that the driver already left to pick someone else up. I was nearly late to work requesting an Uber. Although, I was reimbursed for having to take Uber twice that day, I was unhappy that I did not receive shuttle service as requested. After this appointment, I was told to bring my car back again after 1, 000 miles, and I decided not to return to Kia Store East.
I scheduled an appointment with Kia Store-Preston on 09/30/19 hoping that I would finally get somewhere with my oil issue. At that appointment, they did an oil change and told me to bring it back in 1, 000 miles to the continue oil consumption test. I was told that this was the last time I would have to return the car in 1, 000 miles. I scheduled a second appointment on 11/12/19, so Kia could move forward with the results of the consumption test. Prior to this appointment, I was told the process could take a while to figure out how to repair the car, and a service agent at Kia Store East told me that I would receive a loaner car to drive while my car is in the shop. When I asked about transportation at Kia Store-Preston, I was told that loaners are not offered and that I could not be reimbursed or assisted with any type of rental car. Since 11/12, my car has been in the shop. I had to contact consumer affairs to find out that Kia Store Preston had finally received authorization to replace my engine under warranty. I hadn't received any of this information from the dealer (Kia Preston) because the service advisor that was contacting me is on vacation. I contacted Kia Store - Preston today (11/25) and was told that they are waiting for one part to replace my engine. It may also take an additional two weeks for my car to be repaired. I am going on my 3rd week in a rental car, which will cost me over $1, 000.00. I am very disappointed that I received two different answers from both Kia Stores regarding loaners/rental cars. I am also frustrated that Kia does not offer any type of reimbursement or rental car assistance for long term repairs that are not recalls. I wish I would've known this prior to buying the car. I've received terrible service from both locations and no one seems to care. Now that I know what I know, I will never purchase another Kia!
failure airbag deployment.
On November15th of this year I was in a auto accident. Another car pulled out in front of me and I ran into him striking mid way on the driver side of his car. My Kia Sorento was moving appoximately 25 miles per hour when the collision occured and none of my airbags deployed.
My Kia is in the shop getting an estimate for repair. When i went to sign a release form I went and looked at my Kia as I didnt get to see all the damage at the time of the accident. I asked them did they know why my air bag didnt go off. They said that it should of and showed me that the whole front end of the Kia was damaged almost to the motor and the sensor should have deployed the airbag.
I need to know if all of the airbag components need to be replaced in the steering wheel. Not that i plan to get in another accident, but i need to feel confident that the airbag will work if needed. Please give me an answer as soon as possible as this can effect the price of the estimate. Thanks
harmonic balancer bolt break off and belts
I was driving home and heard a clunk sound my AC quit working power steering quit dash lights came on I stopped had mechanic come look the harmonic balancer pully had fell off leaving a broken bolt I bought a new one total cost of 1300.00 I didn't even get around the block same sound same problem this time damaged other pullys my vehicle is 2003 Kia Sorento with less then hundred thousand miles it's been sitting up now three months for I'm on disability and can't fix it I researched and found this was very common problem in this vehicle I need my vehicle running and I've done lost cost of vehicle and repairs that I can't afford I feel Kia will maintain there careing about satisfied customers and address this my daughter has a new Kia forte às other relatives I don't want mine to be a bad example would appreciate hearing back conserning this matter thank you Belinda Smith

driver side rear tire hub snapped off the kia soul plus

The bolts sheared off the vehicle causing my daughter to rollover on the highway, CHP report was made, will be sending on a different media format.
My daughter was driving east bound approaching 15 south off ramp when she felt something as she made the approach to 15 south that is when the tire snapped off the bolts, I drive that constantly and see no hazards

On the 23 of october 2019 my Kia was generating a strange sound from beneat the car. I decided to take it to the representative of kia in Aruba for they are the expert and I thought it would be a good idea to let an expert look at the car. The inspected the car and inform me that they can fix it in a day. So let the car behind however the next day they inform me that the problem is wors than they thought the problem apparently was in the gearbox. The next day I called and they inform me that they opened the gearbox but they don't have sparte parts to replace the damaged parts. It would take 2 to 3 weeks to have them in Aruba. To make a long story short I am still waiting for them to fix my car. Today it is the 11 of November and still they can't tell me when my car will be repaired. I can't understand how it is posible that a service/repair center doesn't have spare parts and is not able to let this parts be flight over in days. I thing they are playig with me. I have no other name for this. If you can help me I am very grateful if not let me know where to go. Thanks in advance.
paint peeling off in huge strips
2014 Kia Sorento, paint is peeling off in strips. Never damaged or in an accident & the paint is peeling off on passenger side door above windshield. I also have brought the car to dealer on 2 occasions to fix the front axel which they keep denying. I researched my vehicle and seems like these are on going issues with Kia, they need to be resolved!

Consequence
Bearing wear may result in the engine seizing, increasing the risk of a crash.
What Owners Should Do
Kia will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the engine assembly, and replace the engine if necessary, free of charge. The recall began June 20, 2017. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542. Kia's number for this recall is SC147.
Please note that the above described consequences have been experienced in my vehicle.

This is in regards to Kia Booking done by me on 22nd August 2019. I ordered HTX+ Diesel Automatic from Dhingra Motors Faridabad.
At the time of booking, it was told to me that maximum wait time is 2 months. Till date, i have not recived any confirmed date by when i will receive my car whereas have seen same color/model provided by the dealer to other customers who have booked late.
Have contacted Kia Customer Care and now they are saying that maximum wait time now is 2-3 months (which I told them is the case today but was not 2.5 months back when I booked the same). They still don't have any answer to the question of what will happen if there is further delay than 3 months (which will definitely be the case since my vehicle is already provided to other customer and delivery will certainly be delayed now).
2017 kia sportage
I purchased my Kia Sprtage from Orlando Kia North 12/14/2018. This is my first newer vehicle purchase as every other vehicle over owned has been a 2003 or older. I have never had so many issues with a vehicle in my life until I purchased this car. We purchased this because we wanted a safe vehicle to transport my newborn son and we did our research and everything said this was one of the better options. Now here I am not even a year later and this car is literally falling apart. The drivers side window no longer worker, the button unlock feature on the passenger side works intermittently and now I just recently had to rip off the cover to get to my gas tank because it would not open. We purchased this vehicle hoping this would be better but I dont see it and I'm sorely disappointed in Kia and at this rate we will not purchase again.

In spite of my complain about an ubnormal sound of my car engine, KIA costymer service didn't take into account my complain. I went to 3 different KIA car houses in Tunisia but they didn't repair it. One of them kept the car for 2 days and telling me that they repaired it but they didn't do anything in fact. I would like to inform you of the extremely unsatisfactory treatment I received from the service department at Wilson Kia. First of all I called ahead of time to tell them my check engine light had come on and I was on my way to get it checked out. I was told that was fine and they did not close until 6pm. Upon arriving I was completly ignored for 15 min and then when asked what I needed was told there was no tech. I went outside myself and found a tech by the name of Jeremy Walker who was extremely nice and check then informed me that my 02 sensors needed replacing and I could bring it back first thing in the morning. Upon arriving that morning he greeted me and stated that he was going to start working on it immediately. I went inside and gave my info to Jerry and let him know I would be waiting on a call when it was finished and would need a pickup from work. As of 2pm I had not heard from Jerry therefore I called him and was rudely told he had been busy and had not contacted the warranty dept and also did not have the parts. When I ask why I had not been told this earlier in the day all he could say was he was busy. I then talked to Ken the service manager about this problem and was told he would handle getting me a rental car. As of 3:30 I still had not heard anything and called back to find out that nothing had been done to get me a rental. At this point I had to wait on my husband to get off and come get me. I ended up calling my warranty comp myself and in 5 minutes had the rental arranged after Jerry kept saying he could not get them on the phone. However by this time because of Jerry not doing anything about this all day the rental company had closed. I did go get my rental the next day although had to wait until Friday for them to get the parts in and then still by 3pm noone called to let me know the progress or whether my vehicle would be ready. I left 3 messages for Jerry to call and none were returned. Finally I called a fourth time and had to stay on hold until they got him for him to finally let me know my vehicle was ready. This customer service is completely unacceptable and had made me where I do not wish to deal with them in the future. IF YOU CANT TAKE 2 MINS OUT OF YOUR TIME TO UPDATE A CUSTOMER AND ALSO IF THEY CANT WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM THEN THEY DONT NEED TO BE THERE EMPLOYED. THE ONLY ONE THAT I FEEL DID THEIR JOB PROPERLY AND WAS HELPFUL WAS JEREMY WALKER.
recurring problem with abc on and gear lever locked

In Mach 2018, I was unfortunate enough to buy a Mohave 2018 from the National Agencies Group (Kuwait distributor of Kia).
Car: Mohave 2018. Mileage: 32k as of today.
Over the last 9 months I've having the same problem over and over again.
1 on the dashboard light on: ABS, traction, engine
2. Gear lever locked.
This has occurred 5 times, and the car was admitted to the garage. It stayed there in each occurrence from 2 weeks to a whole month.
National Agencies Group (Kia distributer in Kuwait) failed to deal with the issue seriously, leave alone to solve it.
Getting in touch with the higher management is difficult, which leaves the matter in the hands of the front line workers, whose priorities and care varies considerably, and whose expertise is questionable.
I demand that the vehicle is to be replaced, or to have my money back.

Its just been 4 days since i recieved this car. I have started to face a new problem everyday. The latest one is fuel gauge stuck, despite of half fuel tank, its showing over full. And when switched off, it shows half. The front lamps are having mist since day one. Have raised a few complaints about the same, but no proper answer or solution on the same.
Me as a customer is really concerned as i paid a huge amount of money for this product. Is this what i paid for, facing new problems everyday.
Give me a new product is what i will demand for, as its just been 4 days a brand new product and so mang issues. I am worried and really sad, questioning myself over the choice that i made.
While buying the Seltos, i was promised n number of things and the quality of the product was explained as outstanding.
But as soon as i got if home, i noticed, mist in the front lamps, then came the tyre pressure which was over 51 where as it should be 35, then today this happened, where fuel gauge is showing me wrong information.
I have started to feel it was a bad decision made by me.
I am also attaching all the images and videos of the same. Look for a positive response and a quick solution. As this is a premium brand, one that I literally love a lot. I never expected that i will face such problems on my Day-4. Please do something about it.
