KIA Motors kia sorento 2014

Vehicle purchased in 2016. Overheating problem occurred in 2016. Engine failure in 2019. Warranty expired Nov. 2018
Recall on this model and year was sent out but not to this region.

Summary
Kia Motor Company (Kia) is recalling certain 2011-2014 Optima, 2012-2014 Sorento and 2011-2013 Sportage vehicles. Machining errors during the engine manufacturing process may cause premature bearing wear within the engine.
Consequence
Bearing wear may result in the engine seizing, increasing the risk of a crash.
What Owners Should Do
Kia will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the engine assembly, and replace the engine if necessary, free of charge. The recall began June 20, 2017. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542. Kia's number for this recall is SC147.
Please note that the above described consequences have been experienced in my vehicle.

KIA Motors kia seltos

This is in regards to Kia Booking done by me on 22nd August 2019. I ordered HTX+ Diesel Automatic from Dhingra Motors Faridabad.

At the time of booking, it was told to me that maximum wait time is 2 months. Till date, i have not recived any confirmed date by when i will receive my car whereas have seen same color/model provided by the dealer to other customers who have booked late.

Have contacted Kia Customer Care and now they are saying that maximum wait time now is 2-3 months (which I told them is the case today but was not 2.5 months back when I booked the same). They still don't have any answer to the question of what will happen if there is further delay than 3 months (which will definitely be the case since my vehicle is already provided to other customer and delivery will certainly be delayed now).

KIA Motors 2017 kia sportage

I purchased my Kia Sprtage from Orlando Kia North 12/14/2018. This is my first newer vehicle purchase as every other vehicle over owned has been a 2003 or older. I have never had so many issues with a vehicle in my life until I purchased this car. We purchased this because we wanted a safe vehicle to transport my newborn son and we did our research and everything said this was one of the better options. Now here I am not even a year later and this car is literally falling apart. The drivers side window no longer worker, the button unlock feature on the passenger side works intermittently and now I just recently had to rip off the cover to get to my gas tank because it would not open. We purchased this vehicle hoping this would be better but I dont see it and I'm sorely disappointed in Kia and at this rate we will not purchase again.

KIA Motors kia customer service didn't repair my damaged car engine

In spite of my complain about an ubnormal sound of my car engine, KIA costymer service didn't take into account my complain. I went to 3 different KIA car houses in Tunisia but they didn't repair it. One of them kept the car for 2 days and telling me that they repaired it but they didn't do anything in fact. The car is still under KIA Motors warratnty but I couldn't find a way to solve this problem.
Could you please tell me what to do to let them repair it please .

KIA Motors buy new kia seltos from your authorised dealer. didn’t get delivery on time as well as car is damn dirty

Didn't receive car on time. Even all the formality has been done. Later on receive car but it's too dirty. I want delivery on 24 oct. that was surprise for my wife. That day was her bday. Kia spoil our day. U need to improve ur services . Car is so dirty no one say it's new. I requested to staff that clean this but not done by ur staff

KIA Motors service department

HI,
I would like to inform you of the extremely unsatisfactory treatment I received from the service department at Wilson Kia. First of all I called ahead of time to tell them my check engine light had come on and I was on my way to get it checked out. I was told that was fine and they did not close until 6pm. Upon arriving I was completly ignored for 15 min and then when asked what I needed was told there was no tech. I went outside myself and found a tech by the name of Jeremy Walker who was extremely nice and check then informed me that my 02 sensors needed replacing and I could bring it back first thing in the morning. Upon arriving that morning he greeted me and stated that he was going to start working on it immediately. I went inside and gave my info to Jerry and let him know I would be waiting on a call when it was finished and would need a pickup from work. As of 2pm I had not heard from Jerry therefore I called him and was rudely told he had been busy and had not contacted the warranty dept and also did not have the parts. When I ask why I had not been told this earlier in the day all he could say was he was busy. I then talked to Ken the service manager about this problem and was told he would handle getting me a rental car. As of 3:30 I still had not heard anything and called back to find out that nothing had been done to get me a rental. At this point I had to wait on my husband to get off and come get me. I ended up calling my warranty comp myself and in 5 minutes had the rental arranged after Jerry kept saying he could not get them on the phone. However by this time because of Jerry not doing anything about this all day the rental company had closed. I did go get my rental the next day although had to wait until Friday for them to get the parts in and then still by 3pm noone called to let me know the progress or whether my vehicle would be ready. I left 3 messages for Jerry to call and none were returned. Finally I called a fourth time and had to stay on hold until they got him for him to finally let me know my vehicle was ready. This customer service is completely unacceptable and had made me where I do not wish to deal with them in the future. IF YOU CANT TAKE 2 MINS OUT OF YOUR TIME TO UPDATE A CUSTOMER AND ALSO IF THEY CANT WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM THEN THEY DONT NEED TO BE THERE EMPLOYED. THE ONLY ONE THAT I FEEL DID THEIR JOB PROPERLY AND WAS HELPFUL WAS JEREMY WALKER.

KIA Motors recurring problem with abc on and gear lever locked

The worst advertisement is a dissatisfied customer. I'm one.

In Mach 2018, I was unfortunate enough to buy a Mohave 2018 from the National Agencies Group (Kuwait distributor of Kia).

Car: Mohave 2018. Mileage: 32k as of today.

Over the last 9 months I've having the same problem over and over again.
1 on the dashboard light on: ABS, traction, engine
2. Gear lever locked.

This has occurred 5 times, and the car was admitted to the garage. It stayed there in each occurrence from 2 weeks to a whole month.

National Agencies Group (Kia distributer in Kuwait) failed to deal with the issue seriously, leave alone to solve it.

Getting in touch with the higher management is difficult, which leaves the matter in the hands of the front line workers, whose priorities and care varies considerably, and whose expertise is questionable.

I demand that the vehicle is to be replaced, or to have my money back.
(Attachments: Photos of the dashboard with the lights on. Photos of job cards which mention the details of my car and the number of occurrences.)

KIA Motors kia seltos gtx plus diesel at

Its just been 4 days since i recieved this car. I have started to face a new problem everyday. The latest one is fuel gauge stuck, despite of half fuel tank, its showing over full. And when switched off, it shows half. The front lamps are having mist since day one. Have raised a few complaints about the same, but no proper answer or solution on the same.

Me as a customer is really concerned as i paid a huge amount of money for this product. Is this what i paid for, facing new problems everyday.

Give me a new product is what i will demand for, as its just been 4 days a brand new product and so mang issues. I am worried and really sad, questioning myself over the choice that i made.
While buying the Seltos, i was promised n number of things and the quality of the product was explained as outstanding.
But as soon as i got if home, i noticed, mist in the front lamps, then came the tyre pressure which was over 51 where as it should be 35, then today this happened, where fuel gauge is showing me wrong information.
I have started to feel it was a bad decision made by me.
I am also attaching all the images and videos of the same. Look for a positive response and a quick solution. As this is a premium brand, one that I literally love a lot. I never expected that i will face such problems on my Day-4. Please do something about it.

KIA Motors Auto loan

Called a year ago to make payoff for auto loan on car. Was told a payoff amount and paid in 3 payments as the site did not allow me to make one payment. Have never received another bill but realized I did not receive title. Several phone calls later I am told there is more money owed on loan. Apparently was lied to about payoff amount. This is ridiculously deceptive and dishonest. I should have looked at reviews before financing with this company. Will never deal with Kia again.

I have issue with paint peeling off front corner panel as well as roof dealer said not u set warranty when I took it in last year I am bid seeing this is an issue with other Kias and want to find what can be done. I am a single mom was so pleased to own this car washed waxed and vacuumed regularly as well as maintenance now I'm left feeling like I got taken for a fool to have to dump a few thousand on a paint job ive never had this issue with any other company

Sub: Poor Customer Service and Experience with the New Car Seltos
 
This is in reference to engine number D4FAKM852146 bought by me (Pardeep Kumar), purchased on 29 Sep 2019. The car has been facing "starting problems" right from Day 1, from the day I purchased the vehicle at the showroom the car did not start, the showroom mechanics did some work and assured that all things have been taken care of but to my disappointment the same problem is occurring ever since. It has been 5 times I have gone to various places with your mechanic to do deep investigation on what is the problem but every time I have heard a different excuse, sensors are loose, get out of the car and switch on and off twice and then restart etc. the problem still continues and none of your experts have been able to figure out the problem.
 
Does it ever happen the car does not start at the showroom itself, is this what is Kia all about? I spent lakhs of rupees on this model and all that I am doing id going to your workshops.
 
We are so disappointed with the quality of the product that in spite of spending such a high amount the car spends more time in the garage than on road. All promises by your people have been false and this clearly shows that is a poor quality product that you are selling in India.
 
I need a permanent solution to my problem or I need a replacement of the vehicle. I am not in a position to continue using this vehicle if this is the quality of the product or service. I am a businessman and I need this vehicle for travel, not having is making me spend lot of money by hiring a cab service. I would like to know are you guys going to pay for all the bills and expenses I am making?
 
I am looking for a long-lasting fix to my problem as this is not helping me in any way.

To whom it concerns,
Can you believe that from April 23, 2019 till now I cant use my kia sportage gt model 2017 because your agent did not get the spare part - clutch-
More than five months to get a spare part!
It is the worst service I had from kia, and the worst reputation ever for kia.
I can't move the car because it is not responding normally, who is going to pay for the car I rented for the last 3 months?
I called many times Eng. Mohamed mostafa the maintenance manager in the main agency in Abo Rawash, first he gave me a lot of excuses and promises and apologies and after he is not answering my calls, really it is a big shame.
Now, I don't have other solutions but making a complaint in newspapers and the consumer protection agency in Egypt.

KIA Motors boot release switch for 2019 cerato sports +.

The switch failed on August 14. Despite being told a replacement would be in Bendigo on September 4, it failed to arrive. I made numerous calls to the dealer and head office and nobody could/would tell me what was going on. Finally, today I'm told the part has been redesigned and will be in Bendigo by October 17. Why wasn't I told earlier? Very unprofessional! Why wasn't I given the option of a temporary replacement using the old version? It might have got me through until the new one became available. It's quick and easy to fit and not a safety issue, so I would have jumped at the opportunity. Instead of which, I've effectively had no boot for two months and when I was asked, I'd tell people I had no idea when it would be corrected. Very unsatisfactory and not a good image for Kia!

Bought Kia Rio Sedan in 2016, complaining the car dealer about the steering wheel was not able to do the steering lock. The Dealer advised me to send to the Service Centre and check. KIA Motors kia 2018 engine fire with 16 year old inside

My daughter was driving our kia approximately 10 days ago when something "popped," the car started smoking and then the engine burst into flames. The entire car was completely destroyed. We had had not trouble with this car before this. I am concerned because if she had been on a major highway and unable to pull over and exit quickly, I am not sure what would have happened. KIA Motors alan jay kia

I took my 2015 Kia Optima in to Alan Jay Kia in Sebring, FL due to moisture in my tail lights and I had a headlight out. I called a few weeks prior and spoke to Service manager Doug asking about my headlight, he got my VIN number and quoted me 250$ for my head light. I declined and never got it fixed. Ended up taking my car in for the moisture in my tail lights a couple weeks later and Sadie told me my head light is actually covered under warranty, after I had to ask if it was or not. Doug never offered me that information even after giving him my vin number. He never asked me is my car still under warranty or anything. Then I take my car in for the moisture in tail lights and find out that headlight is covered so Sadie makes me another appointment to come back to get tail lights fixed and headlight fixed when parts come in. I come in to my next appointment and Doug tells me that my car was already fixed, when there was clearly still moisture in my tail lights and he also told me I needed to pay 24$ per blinker now. Which the reason the blinkers don't work is because the tail lights defected and got moisture in them. I refused to pay for something that should have been covered under warranty. He argued with me and was very arrogant and rude to me and tried to make me pay for something that is covered under warranty, all in front of my 2 year old daughter and my mother. Very unprofessional and he is by far NOT what Kia says they stand for! And this is a MANAGER for goodness sake. I am 27 years old, and I have a couple more cars to buy in my lifetime, and not one of them will be a Kia for the simple fact that the nearest Kia dealership from me within an hour is Alan Jay, and I refuse to allow Doug to talk to me or treat me the way he has anymore, especially in front of my daughter. I love my Kia but I will be getting rid of it in the near future now. I'm so upset with Alan Jay Kia. I also got a response from Doug which was a complete slap in the face, he lied to me and told me he never quoted me for any price on anything which my mom was standing there for and hear everything. And unfortunately my daughter did as well and how unprofessional of him to talk to a mother the way he did in front of her daughter. I'm so unhappy with my experience with Kia and will never purchase another.
