Dollar Tree status of store

I love Dollar Store, and have visited stores in Broomall, Phoenixville and Royersford, PA. All were well-staffed, shelves full and store in order. When I visited the Exton store tonight it was disconcerting — shelves empty, store in disarray, under-staffed (no one at the one open register, multiple shoppers in line waiting to check out). I had the impression the store might be getting ready to be closed, it was that bad. But, there were signs posted all over the store for help wanted. Whoever manages the store has a lot to answer for!

I have been to this dollar tree multiple times as it is near my work. Every time I'm in there I am discriminated against since I am white. The older cashier always is rude and waits on other customers at her register even though I am next in line. I suggest you fire her before you end up with a discrimination lawsuit. I will no longer shop at this location and have alerted all of my coworkers to do the same.

Dollar Tree assistant manager

The district manager Todd has been the DM for a little over a year. He transferred AM (assistant manager) from one store to another, because she has personality issues and the first manager wanted her out and banned from the store because of this. AM bullied her and threatened her and the manager then had four slashed tires. So AM (E) was transferred to another dollar tree. E came in like a bull and threatens to call HR every chance she gets. She has bullied two young associates that we're going to be promoted to AM, but mentally starred them down and they quit. Sighting the problem is this AM. Problem, besides against state and federal law (now under staffed). DM is not protecting his manager against this bully. AM does not know her merchandizing management job. AM speaks Rudely and interrupts Manager. Manager has asked AM to leave the store. AM refuses to leave. DM comes into store when Manager is not there, answers calls from AM all the time. HR and Dm hv only been the store once to put this AM in her role. AM does what she wants. Manager now fears for her safety. Other employees have said the atmosphere in the store is so thick when she is there you could cut it with a knife. DM refuses to reinstall cameras in the store. DM says he will do all sorts of stuff but never does. AM has a felony drug trafficking charge. How the hell did she get a job at dollar tree! If this AM is not removed from current store a restraining order will be next. Resolve this issue before it becomes a class action suit.

Dollar Tree employees

I was looking around my local dollar to in 51 Ave and McDowell in Phoenix AZ waiting to pick up my kids from practice. I carry a big toe nails as is the stone for women's purses these days and have so much kid junk in there from all my kids that I'm sure most mom's can relate: a bag of goldfish or pretzels, a mini pack of tissues lip balm, mints, a comb, hand sanitizer, a notebook because I still do my lists by hand and paper, a juice box.. you get my point, right? Well all the items could have been in a dollar store, or Walgreens or Fry's as that's where I do all my shopping and not of these stores are unique. I'm outside of the store approaching my car when this girl screaming at new that I need to give her my purse. I'm likelisten here crazy lady I don't have to give you anything I didn't do anything wrong and I'm going to my car now to which he grabs my purse so hard that the strap literally bruised my shoulder. I am tugging my purse back from her and she has my purse handle in such a tight grip I looked down to her knuckles are white as she's looking at me with BDI's yelling at me to give her my purse. Now I'm not truly petite but I'm about 5'9 130 lb This woman was probably about 5 ft 7 240 lbs I mean the chick was stocky and big and I think she was on meth because she's looking at me in her eyes are still wild and beaty and her long black hair was just sticking out everywhere and she was just such a horribly ugly person inside and out for how she was treating me and how certain she was that I had stolen when I had not. She starts pulling merchandise that is my own out of my purse and dumping it on the sidewalk and I'm telling her to let go that is the from my kids those are my belongings and she doesn't care she's pulling everything out of my bag and throwing it on the sidewalk in front of me and she pulled on my back so hard that not only did it bruise my shoulder but she ripped my back My handle of my purse is totally ripped off and ruined! I think I heard she's the new manager but I suffer from PTSD and this shocked me so badly that all I could do was shaking we get to my car I could barely get the keys and the ignition of shaking so badly I was so scared and I didn't know what to do I came home and cried to my husband about what happened showed him my empty purse and he knows how my purse normally looks and he could not believe himself. I don't know if I should contact a lawyer or who I should contact but I'm starting here as that woman needs some serious help. She was screaming you're not going to steal from my store you need to put my merchandise back. there aren't even cameras in the store first of all so if she thought I was stealing what proof does she have? I know that she was being racist as I'm white and it's a predominant Hispanic neighborhood and everyone that works there is Hispanic and I'm a tall blonde haired white woman and her store so of course the stucco like a sore thumb and then she saw my big bag and me not buying anything and accuse me of stealing and was so certain herself that she is salted me and threw my spelongings on the ground. I want to demand to see what kind of crew she has that I am a thief because I have never been in never will be accused of such an awful thing!

Dollar Tree being terminated

I was accused of working off the clock and I wasn't. This will be the second time that I have been terminated by this store for something I didn't do. I want my job back please. On Friday Sept. 27, I was picking up my boxes and clip strips and saw a box of gift bags that had been opened by a customer that was on the floor and shelf and was picking them up and hanging them on a peg when the DM walked through. I told him I was just picking up my mess and then would be done for the day. He said to not worry about it. I put my boxes on the boat and pushed it into the ware house. I stayed and bought a few things and talked with the asst mgr for awhile and went outside with the cashier to smoke a cigarette. I left and came back at 9 pm to leave the store keys with the asst mgr because I forgot to give them back to her after using the restroom. The next morning I went in to work when the store mgr called me to the back and told me that the DM Jonathan Fisher had called HR saying I was working off the clock. Like I said before this is the second time being terminated behind some BS. The DM does not communicate with me because if he had, I could have cleared this up. Before, I had just clocked out and asked Mr Fisher if I could pick up my boxes and sweep up my mess and he said ik. So which is it? Also, there is a sign in our break room that says don't pass it up, pick it up and that's what I was doing. For something this stupid he calls HR but when I texted him about me being intimated, bullied and retaliation, he didn't even address the issue. Management breaks all kinds of store policy rules and nothing happens because they're management. I just want my job back. I have always given 110 percent to this store only to be treated like crap. I'm not even given the opportunity to advance. Everything I have read says you can't retaliate or choose favorites or cut my hours as punishment for filing a complaint yet this is what was done to me and I let the DM know and he did nothing. If you would please reconsider and let me have my job back, I would appreciate it and I will promise you stop working 15 minutes before I have to clock out to pick up my mess. I need my job. And if you could please let me know what ever you decide to do, I would appreciate it.

On Sept 27, 2019 I was accused of working off the clock and terminated by the DM. I had explained to him that I was picking up my boxes and clip strips and had seen a box of gift bags that had been opened by a customer. The bags had slid out of the box and were on the floor and shelf and I was picking them up and putting them on a peg. He said not to worry about it. I continued to put my boxes on the boat and pushed it to the warehouse. In the break room there is a sign that says "don't pass it up, pick it up." That's what I was doing and I got terminated. He went out of his way and called HR to get me terminated. This is the second time that I have been terminated because of a lie. I'm sure there are a lot of people that have been terminated by this company behind lies from somebody who has done more wrong than those who have lost their jobs. Nobody has ever contacted me to ask what happened. I am fighting to get my job back and maybe they can give the DM a different job position that won't allow him to fire people. We need a DM that keeps his word and doesn't work us like dogs just so he can get a bigger bonus. Shaving hours and thinking that people can unload a truck of 1500 pieces, stock the merchandise and organize the warehouse in 9.5 hours is ridiculous. We never had an issue with hours until he got there. We have never gotten a positive comment from him. He has never communicated with the employees. I had one write up almost a year ago for working off the clock and had not done it again even though it bothers me that the store is starting to look like crap because of him. We have merch mgr that have walked out because of him. All of the stores are going down as far as being clean and stocked since he became the DM. I informed him a few months ago about retaliation, being bullied, harassed and intimidation and he never addressed that issue. This is not good for someone who has a mental disability. I have always tried to do my best for this store. I take pride in it's appearance and keeping the customers happy. I love positive feedback. I have always owned anything that I have done, good or bad. But I will fight for being accused of something I didn't do. Management has broken more policy rules than I could ever dream of and nothing has ever been done about that. I just want my job back along with my hours. I don't care about what anyone else does as long as it doesn't involve me. Corporate needs to step up and take a closer look t how their employees are being treated and the conditions we have to work in. We take the hit when DM's make mistakes or don't know what they're doing. Mr Philbin needs to compensate those of us who had to fight together our jobs back. We also have Bill's to pay. Communication will open their eyes as far as how these stores are being run into the ground. They say this is a family store? Lol! I already have family like this. I don't want to be part of another family that's the same.

I have tried to get someone, anyone from corporate or HR to address this issue about being wrongfully terminated. I would appreciate a response from someone. No one deserves to be treated the way I have been treated. I don't want to but it looks like I might have to contact the EEOC about this matter. I have been patient for too long. How hard is it to pick up a phone or type a message to let someone know that they are being acknowledged or heard? I'm hoping corporate doesn't have stupid or heartless people in charge but that's what it's starting to look like. No disrespect just frustration.

Dollar Tree store manager

I shop at store #1927 every week. i always see the assistant manager Jason working to try to get the shelves stock. The store manager Ernie rather not help with stock. I never see anyone in the store helping with stock and its always the same manager thats there. I never see the store manager doing anything. I have had to go to another store in the area for halloween decor because there really is nothing set out. You can not depend on one person to preform miracles.

Dollar Tree bad service

First it is not my fault that the system freeze and on that moment she was on a break, supervisor or manager Sarah, came to register apparently to help but we got a surprise, the first mistake that Sarah made was that she make racist comments against us with the cashier. If she want to see my birth certificate, I can show it to her that I am an american citizen since the day I born, so I am american as her and there is no reason for her to make racist comments against another american. Second, the manages demonstrate the lowest knowledge asking me what she can do with the system, obviously as a computer technician I know how to fix the problem, but it is her responsibility to as manager had the proper knowledge on the system, not to ask me what to do. As a manager she should be to represent company values demonstrating that every customer is important for the only the ones that only speak english. Personally I dont think those are the values that you guys as company wants to spread around your employees. I hope you guys stop this type of conduct

Dollar Tree manufacturer coupons

I've gone to 2 different dollar stores with manufacturers coupons and always run into a problem. One said they can't take coupons their register does t take them off. Another store says yeah we take them BUT I have to get a manager to approve it. Are you kidding me? Meanwhile the libe behind me is 5 deep so how to I wait for the manager to come up from wherever and have customers annoyed. I just dont get it. If you dont want us, to use them then just say so.

I am a loyal customer and I love to shop at dollar tree. There is this one manager short hair with glasses that is always rude. She has a nasty attitude and always on the phone. When you ask her can someone open up another line she acts like she can't hear and just keep doing whatever. I don't think its fair and someone needs to teach her better manager skills.
