Dollar Tree service/manager

I was in your store around 8 PM and was standing in line waiting to be taken care of. After the lady in front of me was taken care of the Male employee who was the cashier looked at me and walked away and went outside. He didn't say anything to me . So I grabbed my stuff and waited at the other register. After I was done I asked a female employee if there was a manager around. She said he went outside. So apparently my cashier was the manager. So this made me even more mad that the manager acted this way. So when I was walking out there he was smoking a cigarette. Wow! This is not what I call good customer service. I am very disappointed of this location. I have been in customer service for 30 yrs and would never walk away from a guest.
This person needs a lot more training if he is to remain as a manager. I hope this never happens again because it will ruin your business.
Thank you.

Dollar Tree checkout line

I'm a daily shopper at the store on the corner of Farmers Blvd and Guy R Brewer, and it's ridiculous that there's only one register open during the busy hours of operations 4-6pm. There's 3 employees including the manager and only one register for a line of 25-30 people. Why? I literally put my 5 things down and walked out the store. The least they can do is have an express line. I myself put in an application for employment and saw at least 15 other applicants, why do they say they are hiring and don't hire people? The managers need to put people on the register when the store is busy and on the sales floor when the store is dead. That's common sense. And this is an everyday occurrence, how much experience do these managers have to not know that?

Dollar Tree deplorable conditions

I went to the Dollar Tree Store #4967 located in Milwaukee, Wis. to find the place filthy, and in total disarray. At one point during my visit glass fell off the shelf and an employee shouts out "You break it you bought it!" Another patron stated that this is typical for this store. After 10 minutes no one bothered to clean the broken glass. Someone needs to look into this as it sets a bad example for the other stores. I will never return to this location. To say the least it is unsafe and a real crap hole.

Dollar Tree manager problem

I was threatened and told by the manager to stop a what she calls trend. Explanation:
I was short change and I offered to use my debt card for the remainder change, so the cashier said don't worry about it which they say a lot and they actually give me the change and cover the tax which I found very nice. But the manager informed me that that I was a problem in shorting change and creating in her words "a trend". I never thought it was a problem and was not aware of any complaints from any of the employees before because no one had approached me and said anything to me. I had been coming here for 11 years and love this store. I am a very nice costumer who wants nothing but the best for the store but when the lady manager at 10:33 am 6/7/2018 approached me and started making assumptions about me and me doing things that I never did also threatened me as a paying costumer that she will kick me out because she was not reasoning and acting professional this is not a good business practice. She also said I was harassing employees in which I was not doing. I am only trying to be as friendly and polite as possible. Her and some employees that admitted to not liking me before and those employees had been the ones to tell her untrue things that I never did. I advise on a profession point of me this unprofessional practice needs to end and they really need to act professional either that or retraining or replace this manager.

thank you

I see on here that you most often get angry complaining customers, well I would like to give the store in Marshall, MN a compliment! Today 6/08/18 I was shopping at our Dollar Tree and went to check out. An elderly woman was 2 people in front of me and was short a small amount of change. She was distressed and said to please cancel the order to the clerk (Her name was Lorri). This lovely lady (Lorri) reached into her own pocket and paid the change so the elderly lady could still make her purchase. The elderly customer said she would bring in the change and pay Lorri back as soon as she could get back. Lorri told her to not worry about it and have a wonderful day! People like your employee Lorri renew my faith in humanity! I have no doubt that since Lorri is working in retail she is not independently wealthy, yet she didn't hesitate to help this woman out. I was so pleasantly surprised by this kind action on her part. I did tell her exactly that, however, I wanted the company to know that you have some really great cashiers working for you. One of which works in the Marshall, Minnesota Dollar Tree named Lorri on Friday 6/08/18 around 1:30 pm. She deserves a pat on the back! Thank-you Lorri! Sincerely, Joyce from Marshall (a very appreciative customer!)

Dollar Tree condition of store

The Dollar Tree located at 755 N. Courtenay Pkwy., Merritt Island, FL is without air conditioning and has been without air conditioning since Hurricane Irma in September 2017. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. It is almost 90 degrees in June in Florida and to be in a store without air conditioning is unbearable for customers and employees. It also can't be safe working conditions for the employees. After being in the store for 10 minutes I had already started to perspire and sweat. I purchased a candy bar for my daughter that was partially melted because of the heat inside of the store. I can't imagine actually having to work in there. The employees were soaked in sweat and had several bottles of water at their registers just trying to maintain in the heat. There weren't even any fans or anything. This is just sad and ridiculous and a shame. How is it 9 months later and the air conditioning is still not working? I will NOT be visiting this store or spending any more money here. I'm sure there is more than enough money being made by the Dollar Tree Corporation to get the air conditioning fixed.

Dollar Tree status of store

June 6, 2018

Location: Dollar Tree, Hudson, MA. - What a shock it was to visit this location and see how much it has gone down hill. Floors were filthy, shelves looked they hadn't been stocked in a long time, items on the floor, etc. What a shame! I have always looked forward to shopping at Dollar Tree, but today's visit changed my opinion.

I approached the young lady at the register and asked if the store was going out of business. She went off on how terrible the manager is and how he doesn't feel it's his responsibility to stock shelves. She kept complaining on and on about the working conditions and how everyone was asking if they're going out of business.

I would like to suggest that someone from the corporate office contact Under Cover Boss and start investigating just what's going on inside these stores. I read a lot of the complaints on this board and I see that I'm not the only one who has expressed their thoughts on this.

I can't tell you how many of my friends have commented on how they "love" shopping at Dollar Tree. I'm fearful that those opinions will change once they see the current state of the store. Such a shame.

Here's to change,
Susan

Dollar Tree harassment

I went into your store # 02351, 2601 oakdale rd modesto 95355. I was an assistant manager there for 4 years. The management there set me up to be fired supposedly "falsifying documents". I had complained multiple times to Regina the store manager about being harrassed many times by Todd & she told me to avoid him or "ask why hes feeling that way today". I was shown one piece of paper I made a mistake on & ended up being fired. Anyway I've been in there several times since then (each time lucky enough to go when Todd was not working) & have purchased whatever I go in for. I have a clean background & don't steal. Todd Wallace the assistant manager there, the one who I had complained about harassing me when employed there, was the one closing the store. My daughter is almost 3 years old & wanted to wander around. After about 15 minutes Todd comes up to me telling at me to leave that I don't need to make him follow me around. I came in with money to purchase a barbie & a couple snacks with food stamps. Instead I was harrassed & screamed at in front of my 3 year old who was freaked out & almost in tears. I had a couple things in my hands I was going to buy for her, but since he was on my heels yelling at me making a scene in front of other customers being as embarrassing as possible, I picked up my daughter & walked out. I still find it classy corporate allows their employees to act in such a way to this day. He use to do that to me when I was on the clock to, in front of customers, & Regina saw absolutely no problem with it. I shouldn't be surprised at the behavior after everything especially since almost everyone Regina hires either is a meth addict or recovering meth addict.

I admit that I have made some mistakes myself, one day Todd was treating me so badly that I lied and said that he was tried to force himself on me and kissed me, and put his hand under my shirt to get him into trouble, but nothing was done about it because other employees sided with him. They were questioned and said nothing happened. The are saying that I am harassing Todd. Todd is nothing but a crack addict and alcoholic. He beats his wife if he is married. Everyone hates him. Even my daughter is scared of him because he is so ugly. But because I made one mistake and lied about Todd, they made false documents to have me fired.

Lol, I don't know if this is hacking or what, but that never happened. He never forced himself on me & I don't make false accusations. Especially sexual [censored] like that. That ruins lives. The rest however is true. I don't need to lie, todd himself is the only proof there needs to be.

Dollar Tree public restroom

I visited two locations today. The first one was 3569 Bridge Rd #201, Suffolk, VA 23435 and it was a very pleasant experience. I had been on the road and needed to use their restroom and I was able to do so with no issues. Later in the evening, I visited the Store Store #4555 922 N Main Street Suite A Suffolk VA, [protected] US to purchase some items for my nephews birthday. Both times, I spent well over $30 dollars. As so many other do, I frequent the Dollar Tree stores often and I don't appreciate bad customer service. During my visit, my son needed to use the restroom and we were not aware that they no longer had public restrooms. One employee told my son he didn't need a key and to go on in the bathroom. He of course couldn't get in to the bathroom. A cashier by the name of Dee Dee was very unprofessional when I asked if my son could use the restroom. She said the restrooms was for employees only. I asked when did that change and her response was today. Then She abruptly stated he can go to Big Lots next door. I said we are not spending our money in Big Lots. we had. been in the store for over twenty minutes when my son had to use the bathroom. So, I asked the manager Ashlyn why they no longer had public restroom and she stated it's store policy. I said that I just visited another Dollar tree and they had a public restroom. Her reply that all Dollar Trees have different policies. I asked why couldn't they make an acceptation this time and she said that she couldn't go against policy. Then she proceeded to say that the customer's had damage their toilets and they have to constantly call in a Plummer. My question is how do you know it's the public and not your employees? They then decided to speak among themselves about me and my request to have my son use their restroom which in itself is unprofessional. I as a customer really don't want to hear all of the issues surrounding Dollar tree not wanting to keep putting out money to fix their bathrooms. They sure don't mind taking our dollars. They can attempt to make decisions on a case by case basis to help out a customer. Their attitudes were down right disgraceful for employees representing Dollar Tree. I will be posting my experience on social media. I know that one customer will not make or break the pockets of a big company such as Dollar Tree and I realize they only care about their bottom line!

Went to dollar tree today. This one had public bathrooms. Old place, but clean, toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels everything you need. I figured it would have a bathroom it had been an old grocery store. It also carries frozen and refrigerated foods. 11008 Warwick Blvd Newport News, Va.

Dollar Tree safety and security

While I am estatic about all of the wonderful things that Dollar Tree has to offer, I am very concern with why this company does not take the time to protect its hardworking employees and merchadise. I visited the location inside of Westside Shopping Center in Baltimore, MD today. The customer service was A1, and I was able to find the merchandise that I needed by the very professional and kind manager I could definitely tell she knew her products and invetory -I believe she said her name was Keisha. It's just a sad thing to see areas like this that require security/cameras and constantly watching don't have security at all times. The weekend is not enough-someone should be there all the time. Customers get out of hand often and security needs to be the one that removes them not the cashiers, workers or managers. Please make this happen for a valuable customer who spends nearly $200-$300 on your merchadise monthly for my business.

Dollar Tree customer service

This, type of customer service, as well as customer needs is distasteful for your business and the customers time and money. There, is always, always loads of merchandise waiting to be placed on the shelves, Everytime I visit the store. Customers, opening sitting boxes, before they are shelved, because it's what they drove to shop for in the first place. I have witnessed many customers, turn around and leave because of the lines and customer service.

Dollar Tree dollar tree store in chipley, fl

On June 3, I went into this store. There was a dog running around without a leash and chasing after different people. When I went to checkout a young boy around 6 or 7 years old was trying to checkout using a debit card. He did NOT have on shirt or shoes now was he with an adult. He could not remember the pin number and said his father gave 3-4 numbers to try. All the customers had to move to a different checkout line. When he left the dog followed him. He ran to a nearby motel.

First of all, the cashier, who was an older woman, should have requested an adult come in to complete transaction; the dog should NOT have been allowed in this store, period. There should have been shirt and shoes required.

I am requesting that this store be reprimanded and better trained! This is ridiculous!

Please respond to this complaint.

Dollar Tree poor customer service received by assistant store manager at store #3651

Good afternoon,

My name is Ms. Murphy. I visited the nearby Dollar Tree Store, #3651, located at 5209 A, Indian Head Highway, Oxon Hill, Maryland [protected]. I was treated very poorly by the Assistant Store Manager, named (Annette).

At approximately 5:30 pm, on Sunday, May 27, 2018, I entered the store, picked out a birthday card, then stood in line to purchase the card and six balloons for my grandson's birthday party that I was in route to. I was in the line right next to the balloon station and right outside of the manager's office. I greeted the cashier, I told her that I would like to buy six balloons. The first thing that the cashier says to me is "I'm new, today is my first day". Looking all puzzled like I had said something out of the ordinary. I asked her if she could call for someone to assist with my balloon order. She yelled out towards the office area and said something like, I need help with balloons. A female's voice yelled back from the manager's office through the wall/door and said, (with a loud mean voice/with an attitude) "we are out of balloons, the only balloons we have are the ones already blown up". I asked the cashier could she ring me up, allow me to pay for my order, then I could step aside, and her line with customers could continue you to move on. She replied, "I need numbers to ring up the balloons". In the meantime, an associate comes up and offers to get my balloon order and calls out the numbers on each balloon for the cashier to ring up. The cashier proceeded to ring up my order. For some unknown reason, she called for the manager's help. Vernon called me over to the balloon counter. I stepped over there to show him the balloons that I wanted. The balloons were high up in the ceiling covering each other. While I am at the balloon station, Annette comes out of the office and leans over the cashier, where I had been standing in line, with her back turned towards me. Annette then yells out, "I said the only balloons we have are the ones already blown up". I looked at Vernon and said, "Is she talking to me"?, He says, no and shakes his head. I then said, she must be talking to me because I am the only person standing here ordering balloons. I then said to Annette, I heard what you said and I didn't have a problem understanding what you said, I'm very educated. She said a few words back.

I stepped back over to the line to pay for my card and balloon order. The cashier looks at me dumb-founded. I asked if I could pay for my order. She says, I can't ring you up the manager has to ring you up. I asked her what happened to my order you rung up? She said that the manager cancelled out my order from the register. I asked the assistant manager (Annette), why did she cancel out my order. She said to me, (in a rude nasty tone) "I can't hold me line up for you". I'm now starting to become angry, since I have been in the store for at least 30 minutes or more. Now, I'm told that I have to get back in line. The manager (Annette), says, "I'm not going to ring you up" and went back into the office. I said to her through the office door, that she was very unprofessional and needed to take customer service training. I told her that I was going to file a complaint. I asked her if she could write down her name and her supervisor's name and phone number. At first, she would not tell me. Vernon helped me and gave me her name and the information regarding the store's ID number. She eventually, said out aloud, my managers name is Glenn, you can call Glenn. Vernon also wrote that information down on paper for me. I didn't feel like Glenn would address the situation, since they work together and he may have been her friend.

Vernon volunteered to find me a place in one of the four existing lines, asking customers if I could go ahead of them. There were at least ten customers in each line. I might as well have stood back in line again. It took at least another 10-15 minutes before I got my order rung up. I was really upset by then. By the time I left out of the Dollar Tree Store, it was approximately 6:30 pm.

I would like to recommend/suggest that Vernon be given an opportunity to serve as an Assistant Manager for the Dollar Tree Store. He showed me next level customer service and was very professional and concerned about the customer service that I received. Vernon did everything that (Annette) wouldn't do and couldn't do, as far as being professional and providing good customer service techniques. Annette represented the Dollar Tree Store very poorly.

Based on the Dollar Tree's (Standard Operating Procedures Manual(s), Policies and Procedures, Directives), etc., I would recommend that (Annette) be reprimanded for her poor customer service techniques towards me as the customer. She needs to be held accountable for her actions. She should be made to attend customer service training, anger management training and any other manager training programs, before moving forward in her current assistant manager role and responsibilities.

As far as the cashier that said, "it was her first day and she was new", she needs to re-attend any store associate training requirements before being put on the floor to ring up customers. If she wasn't confident with performing her job responsibilities, she should have been working in another job responsibility, (e.g. stocking, shelving, etc.)

Thank you for allowing me to share my Dollar Tree Store experience. I would like to know how upper management intends to deal with the situation that took place. If you need any additional information, I can be reached on [protected].

Dollar Tree employee discrimination

I had worked at d. Tree #372 for 7 1/2 years. Another employee that has only been there for about 1 1/2 years got into an argument, the assistant manager came to me and said why don't you go home early. I said if i do i go home for good. The other employee was never was told that. I am a white 62 year old female. She is a 50 to 60 year old black woman. I went home. The other employee is still there!. Thi s is discrimination against me. I never heard from the manager until i texted him 4 days later. That if he wanted to hear my side of what happened he should call me. He did. Other employees at the store complained to the manager about the same woman not having to greet customers. Use the intercom to call for back up. Her name is deborah. Mine is janette rooker. He is a hard worker . he has a condition that makes him limp . when I went to pick him up from work today I heard his manager call him cledus . that is not his name . and she said it in an unflattering manner . I am told by other workers that she calls him all the time . I ask him about it and he said that she does it often and in front of other employees . I told him to stand up to her but he will not . what are your thoughts on this matter.

Dollar Tree management/customer service

Good monday morning!

About store #6254 @ 10304 lake june rd., dallas, tx 75217

Their is a problem just able every time I go in this store since it has open, it just horrible. It's never clean or stocked. And the mangers are some of the laziest /sorrest person you could ever meet. They be on their cell phones not speaking or making eye contact with the customers. Loud very loud music playing over head. Talking about their personal stuff with each other in front of the customer. The few times I been there the manger on duty she never has her name tag on, but she walk with a limp. The line has been sooo long when I go in there any where from 13 to 20 people in line. Only one line open, and the manger refuse to open another line. But yesterday (06/03/2018) was the worst, if I tell you the manager literally set on her butt, the whole time as customers was complaining about it only being one line open and 15 to 16 with me standing in line. This girl did not move, a customer was complaining and she told the customer her told her to only use one register. That is freaking crazy! I really and truly think this girl want ya'll fired her she don't want to work. This store is always dirty, even my 5 year old great grandson say the store is a mess and somebody need to clean it up. The freezer is never stocked and the aisle are cluttered. When I go in other dollar tree stores, I complain about the one in my neighborhood telling them how horrible it is.
