Alcohol return
I reviewed the grocery ad for Fry's (Kroger) on Wednesday, November 24th. There was included in the ad where you could get 25% discount on wine if six bottles were purchased. I purchased six bottles of wine and when I got home I noted on receipt that I only received 10% discount instead of the 25% discount I was anticipating. I then looked at the weekly ad again and noted in small print that this discount was only good November 26, 27, and 28. I called the store on November 26th and asked if I could return the six bottles (10% discounted) on November 26th and repurchase, thus, getting the 25% discount. They said that I could not do this -- that they did not take alcohol returns. Why can I not return this unopened alcohol? There is no law in Arizona that alcohol cannot be returned and I do have my receipt.
Desired outcome: Would like them to refund me the additional 15% if I go back to the store with the wine.

I am writing to express my concerns about a recent incident I experienced at Kroger Store #697. I would like to bring to your attention the fact that I received extremely poor customer service during my last shopping trip, which took place on 11/22/21approximately 10:30am.
While shopping, I notice a sales associate wearing a red vest watching me throughout the store. The associate followed down 4 different aisle but discreetly kept her distance.
My last stop was to pick up my medication from the Pharmacy while purchasing two last items that I forgot before leaving the store. Now the sales associate is less than 4 feet away from me at the register paying for my medications. Now she is 2 feet away from me at the register looking at my items.
I turned to the sales associate to ask her why she was following me in the store. She stated she worked at Kroger and she could walk anywhere she wanted too. I asked her once again why she was following me in the store. The associate continued to deny she was following me. I asked the associate if she was in line to pick up medication and she stated "No". So then I asked her once again why are you following me.
The associate stated she knew I had coupons and wanted to make sure I was not trying to use the coupons again.
I told the sales associate how I could use coupons to pick up medications. The sales associate continued to raise her voice with several other customers being present.
I went to customer service to ask for the manager of the store. A woman named Stephanie asked me what my issues were. I once again asked for the store manager.
Within 5 minutes of waiting for the manager of the store, the assistant manager came out of the office to speak to me. The assistant manager told me without a word being spoken by me. It was the sales associate's job to follow me in the store. It was her job to make sure I was not using additional coupons in the store.
At this point once again I was targeted and harassed for no reason.
I am a frontline health care worker and I always try to treat people fairly. I also know there are two sides of every story. This store constantly stands by targeting African American people for no reason. Me picking up medication had nothing to do with the early purchase that day using coupons. Last time I checked all money was green and nobody really cared what color you were so long you were spinning $$$ it.
I can say this is not true for store #697.
We ALL have the right to shop any store we choose whether or not you are African American, Asian, Hispanic, Native American, or White. No matter what race, sex, or color he or she may be. It shouldn't matter whether a person is using a coupon or a EBT Government Assistance Card. There should be no form of judgement by any employee of any facility.

I show 209 points on my card. went to get fuel and pump only recognized 10 cents instead of 20. WHY ? went to ask attendant, he had "O" clue on why it was doing that and did not even offer a solution. Does Kroger not hire people that have knowledge of their position, or area they are working?
Went inside store to try Customer Service and they were "CLOSED"? Why is customer service desk closed when the store is still open? Does Kroger not feel the need to have people in key positions the entire time the store is open?
This store continually fails on service and product availability. I try to use it because it is close to my house, but I find myself traveling a few miles further to a different kroger that is much much better organized and managed.
Desired outcome: Hire people that care about customers.
Return check process
I have been a customer for over 20 years. I am a Senior Citizen and have written checks all my adult life. Up untill mid to late November Kroger stated to me that my check was returned as (refer to maker) I contacted my bank and they never received said ck, nor was it ever on my month end statement as having been processed. I spoke to 2 customer servive agents in Idaho or Ohio where ever they are located and they each said that there could be a problem with the store scanner. I had to pay $ 30.00 per transaction for there error. THIS IS NOT FAIR to me a lifelong customer. No one in the complaint dept caed they just wanted my $30.00. Well I am through with Kroger. SENIORS and check writers BEWARE.

Order Deliver
I placed my order for delivery on 10/23/2021. The order was confirmed and the money was taken out of my account. I went back to my confirmed order to make a change. When I tried to save the changes, the order was cancelled. I was given no explanation or reason for this cancellation. As the money, over $200 was already taken from my account, I was informed a refund would be issued, and it could take 3 to 7 business days. This is unacceptable, as I don't have an extra $200 for groceries for my family in the bank. This means, unless I can find somewhere else to get the money, I will not food for a week.

About a cashier who was humiliating my wife with disability

Who is cashier John? He is the one who was humiliating my wife, suffering from PTSD, last winter for not wearing a mask (medical exemption). He was also the one who was inciting other customers against her. And he was also a brave man (very typical for short week men) who was pounding our toilet paper with his old fist.
Since then, we've spent exactly 0.00 $ in Kroger, until today.
Please, call HEB and tell them to name cashier John "Worker of the Year", because instead of buying at Kroger - we were buying everything at HEB.
I'm also delighted to know that cashier John still has a high fighting spirit as he knows that he is obviously sharing the values of Kroger: blunt discrimination of people with disabilities in the name of the Cult of Covid.

We have used online delivery as a way for social distancing when our daughter cannot make a trip for us as an easy and convenient way to shop. Now we are experiencing terrible service with stale or old food. This time, we the order is 3 hours late and no way to cancel it and wont make it in time for dinner. So wasted money and food. tried calling customer service but no one answers and it will keep forwarding or redirecting you if you try to speak with a human being to a recorded message "we are busy, cannot connect at this time." So, I CANNOT even get help AT All from the company I spend all my money at for food gas and medication. 10/11/2021 order placed at 12:45pm. Over two hours late. Zero communication and no way to get help, cancel or refund.
Pharmacy staff
My boyfriend tried to get his prescription that his Dr called in filled at the kroger on 10th and Shadeland Indianapolis, IN. The date was Tues October 5th 2021. He had new insurance so he sent his card in and they told him they couldn't fill it because the medication needed prior authorization. He asked if he could just not use the insurance and they said no that's not their policy. He was already 3 days without his script and he needed it filled.
He called his Dr, he called his insurance etc the insurance even denied it for him so they could get it processed faster and kroger still refused to fill his prescription.
But later when he talked to the pharmacist again because he was having his prescriptions transferred to Meijer pharmacy she said she didn't really know all of kroger pharmacy policies by heart and that she would go ahead and fill out there. He told her no thanks. That's after kroger charged him 36$ for their rx card! He was totally discriminated against!
Meijer is a much better place!

They refused to fill my script at the pharmacy. I had to go to another Kroger location to get it filled. Madison, TN 200 south Gallatin road. Constantly out of stock of numerous products. And security at the store is scary, it seems dangerous to shop at this location. Incompetent management, Kroger should close this location.

I made a purchase online for the first time 8 October 2021. I paid with my credit card. 9 October I went to pick up my order at Benton Kroger Marketplace in Arkansas. I pulled in to the 1st curbside parking space with no other people parked beside me. I was the only curbside customer. A curbside customer by the name of Taylor approached me with a order that stated 3 of my purchases were changed. He showed me on the paper work that the order was an EBT purchase, I responded, I did not make an EBT purchase, I showed him my receipt that I printed out. When I gave Taylor my credit card he stated that the credit card machine was broke, I gave him another credit card, Taylor stated that, the machine is down and he can take my card inside if I give him my pin or come inside. I told him I was disabled and it is complicated for me to come inside. He took the paperwork and went back inside Kroger Marketplace. As I waited, 5-7 cars pulled up at curbside and Taylor used the same machine to complete orders for the next 3 cars. 5-10 Minutes later Mark approach my vehicle and stated he can take my card or I can get out and make purchase using machine inside. I specifically stated that this is straight Racism. As a black man I give you my credit card and you state the credit card machine is down however Taylor uses the same machine to check out the other white curbside customers. I requested to speak with upper management with minimum success. My original purchase was 117.22 however I was charged 125.00 and some change which Mark could not explain. This isn't my first time experiencing Racism and unprofessional at this store. I am a disabled veteran that has defended this country for people like you and them. It was very hard trying to go inside Kroger Marketplace and use my Credit Card machine. There were several Racist issues that occurred in this situation, your staff was very unprofessional and untrained. I am definitely going to report this situation to the highest level possible. Benton Arkansas Kroger Market place is very RACIST and unprofessional. This is 2021 and this silly [censored] is still happening. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RACIST. As a patron of Kroger pharmacy I am sadden and dismayed to even resort to typing this complaint. You see, I am deemed medically needy due to no fault of my own. I cannot reach Kroger pharmacy by phone or in person. Yesterday I called at least 3x, 1st time a lady answered in the pharmacy and hung up on me. The other 2 attempted calls immediately following that encounter the pharmacy automated system said they were closed. This was between 8:30-9:30am. This isn't acceptable, your store sign says you're operating hours of business begin at 8:00am. I have questions regarding switching my medications so I can feel better and I should be able to easily contact and get a response, and not the run around with Kroger pharmacy. After working yesterday, and still no answer by phone- I went into the pharmacy as I pulled up to the drive thru, it was closed? WHY? I picked up my new medication in the store and not drive thru. I requested to speak to a pharmacist to inquire about my medication change and there wasn't one on the floor. How is this possible? As many health problems I have and your stores inability to answer the phone or have a pharmacist on staff for every shift, I don't feel like Kroger deserves my business.

The pharmacy at Bardstown ky is the worse i have ever dealt with. You can call and if they answer within 35 rings you are lucky. I called about a prescription yesterday and a guy said they could have it ready about 8:45 pm, so i sent my granddaughter over to pick it up at 8:30 to pick it up. Guess what, they closed at 8 :pm. I wonder if all krogers are this way.

As a long time and regular King Soopers shopper, I have become so disappointed in this brand that I am going to be shopping at the nearby Walmart. Today was the icing. My Highlands Ranch store is full of employees who clearly do not care about service or at least they didn't again tonight. I regularly order my groceries for pick up and today was the last straw for me. The order was placed for pick up between 5 and 6 and this week there was no call or text to tell us they couldn't do it so I showed u at 5:50 just to have Brandon come out and tell me that the order was not ready and wouldn't be ready for at least 45 minutes. he had an attitude as if it were my fault and I told him that it was unacceptable to at lease not receive a phone call to save me the wasted trip. He became very defensive, raised his voice and said that three employees quit and there are only two employees filling orders and that they didn't have time for phone calls. I advised him I would be contacting the store manager. I went home and called the store and requested to speak with a manager, I spoke briefly with Juanita who advised she was just the front end manager and that she would transfer me to Jo Jo the Assistant Store Manager. I spoke to Jo Jo who advised she was the assistant Manager and that the Manager was out of town. I explained what had happened and she again advised they were short staffed. I understand short staffing, and asked her why they continue to allow appointments to be booked when they know they can't fulfill them? Jo Jo advised that it was the system and the system wouldn't allow for any considerations. I asked for a number to reach the District Manager and was told that she didn't have a number and that I would have to call the main number for King Soopers and go through them to reach him. She did tell me his name was Sean Cornelius.I hate posting in this fashion but absent some means to contact a live person who is capable of helping, this was my last resort. Final thought, when we did receive a call an hour after pick up time, we immediately went and picked up and upon unpacking found our produce broken in half (cucumber) and what was obviously the worst onion that could have been found with obvious browning and multiple soft spots. Very sad King Soopers and Kroger!

Took my granddaughter to get her 2nd vivid vaccine at the Kroger pharmacy at Terry rd Lou KY 40258 on Sept 3, 2021. This the appointment they gave us when receiving 1 st shot. They refused to give it to her because no insurance info and I was not legal guardian. I was the one that brought her for her 1 st appointment. The 2 girls that was working was very rude especially the taller one with dark hair. Her mother than took her the next day Sept 4, 2021and her insurance had been cancelled so they would not give her the shot. I thought the vaccine was free. They are begging people to get the vaccine and Kroger is denying to give ie it. What's the problem here? Does she need to find another place to get the shot since she has no insurance. Walk up window closed. I asked when they opened it, they said whatever time they wanted to, and they weren't opening it today because they were too busy and short. No one waiting at any counter when I went in. When finally came up she was going to do someone else first because they had been waiting. Person had a cart load of groceries and wasn't standing there when I first came. Stepped aside, then when she finally waited on me she said she had to fill a couple things. I saw her go count. Brought me back the scripts they said the refill was called in on the 8th. It is now the 11th. Refills are rarely ready on time. And my mom had already received notification that is was ready. Was she just making me wait because she could. When was the script refilled on the 8th or 9th or not till the 11th when I arrived. Also store strongly suggest you where mask. Well I didn't bring one because I wasn't coming inside. Also I'll add I worked in a pharmacy for 40 years. So I know how it goes.
