Terrible Service
I have written 5 bad reviews about the service I have received from Multichoice choice. It took me over 2 weeks to get a change of ownership done. 4 trips to the DSTV offices at Maponya mall. Numerous calls to the call centre. Approximately 12 phone calls. Just gives customers the run around. Eventually sorted out. My second complaint took approximately 6 calls and my complaint was referred to some or other department. No email or call from them with regards to my refund "R3678". As I worked for Multichoice and was retrenched en November 2019. As part of the retrenchment they gave me a 6 month's reduced rate on my DSTV subscription. I cancelled my subscription at the end of May 2019. In December 2018 Multichoice deducted money for DSTV for the 6 months. They over paid from my salary and now I am just not getting my money back. No contact from DSTV/Multichoice at all. After this complaint the will contact me and come up with another excuse as usual. I will not accept a call from them they need to email me so that I can have proof. All this run around is ridiculous.

incorrect billing for my holiday home
Good Day I am so frustated writing this email as no one, but one can assist or try to resolve my matter of urgency. I have called on the 12th December to activate my holiday from the 17th which I do every year, while waiting for an operator I heard my account due is R1479.00, which I then queries but they can't tell me what the reason for the amount i...

Got the worst most unprofessional encounter at Multichoice, spoke to a consultant by the name of "FEZEKA" and her useless team leader "ADRIAN" got no assistance just a waste of my time and airtime, couldn't resolve an error I had with my decoder..They have absolutely no knowledge of Customer service, nor have no telephone Etiquette whatsoever, the call was 25minutes long and I've been put on hold for several minutes, totally annoying and this reflects bad for the company as a whole just because of 2 [censored]s.
pvr functionality
I called for reconnection of the service and quoted an amount to pay by the consultant who I paid for a Premium package. Now there is an error code E102-29. Who an Earth can have a Premium package without a PVR function. The consultant who quoted the amount to pay is protected by Verisha to take responsibility for the wrong figure quoted to me. This is totally unacceptable that now I must call DSTV for an hour long call to resolve this and still no solution but have the E102-29. I'm very unhappy with this.

dstv - holiday home account - decoders and billing enquiry
Good day,
Further to my complaint dated 24 October 2019, could a manager please call Craig Emmerich (ID #: [protected]) on [protected] urgently.
Decoder card numbers in question: PVR smart card #: [protected], should be linked with smart card #: [protected] secondary decoder, which should be connected as "extra view", and not billed seperately.
Problems with our holiday home account still exist, and we would like this to be rectified once and for all.
After our first complaint, we received a call from a very helpful and courteous gentleman, whom immediately took steps to assist with our concerns, for which we are very appreciative. However, we arrived at our holiday home yesterday, and after having to make several calls on my cell phone once again, depleting my data once again, only to find out that they have split the primary and secondary decoders into two seperate accounts, instead of being one account we now have to pay two? They battled to switch us on, and we now have no extra view! We now have 2 x premium packages which we are being billed for.
Your kind and urgent response to this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Craig Emmerich
Good day, we are still waiting for a response to our mail dated 11 December 2019. It is now the 23rd December and no response at all?! We are really not impressed! Craig Emmerich
With reference to the above mail, it would be appreciated if someone from Multichoice DSTV can have the courtesy to respond and call me on the number supplied above, as a matter of urgency now.
Regards
Craig Emmerich
I am still waiting for a response to the above mail. Can a manager from DSTV Multichoice please get back to me as a matter of urgency!?

to help
Hi
This is the second time I am lodging a complaint over the same issue - obviously pissed.
I had a decoder. When I moved houses I left that decoder and a dish behind.
I now reside at 3619 Section H Palm Springs. I bought a new decoder and dish.
I asked several times for an old decoder to be deactivated / cancelled. I was informed that that was done.
This morning I contacted Multichoice and was advised to pay R281 using a customer no 55725137. I went to Shoprite to pay.
I was informed that the customer number does not exist and informed to use my id no [protected] as a reference.
CAN SOMEBODY SORT THIS [censored] THING ONCE ADN FOR ALL!
I expect an old decoder to be removed completely from my profile. It does not take rocket science to do that.
I expect my services to be reconnected to my new decoder as I made payment as advised. I will NOT make any further payments.
My no is [protected]. If this issue is not resolved today, I shall escalate it to the CEO.
Over charging me and not assisting me to resolve my complaint
for the past 2months i have been charged an amount of R300 on my DSTV account, i have tried to resolve it, the agents put me on hold for 30min, the Manager just told me she would resolve it but alas..nothing! now my account is being disconnected for an amount they can not explain where it is coming from, and can not resolve it.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE YOU CHEATING?!
Poor customer service at dstv zimbabwe
I have been taken back and forth by the customer representatives as they just don't want to resolve my device migration issue. It's been more than 2 months. My Twitter DMs and emails are being ignored. Different people may respond asking me to start the process from the top. I have sent all the required forms but they do not follow up. They make me look stupid. They have access to the messages but they just don't read and i think most of the responses im getting are automated because no one in they're right mind will ask what's the problem i need help with when they see a whole thread of messages that is explaining my request. They just don't care. I'll attach pictures of the messages here.
Incompetence, unreliable service
I don't even know where to start am tired of explaining myself am unhappy frustrated customer.
My account is active but decoder not connected waiting for an installer to connect with the LNB smart cable.
My previous Pvr decoder was faulty and insured and was given Explora 3A on 28 Nov, was promised an installer will come but since then I have made countless calls, emails, live chat with no luck and I went back on Sunday 01 Dec, assisted by Mpho Tebakwane and promised she will follow up on Monday and escalate and still nothing .
I can't keep going back to the center to complain about same thing, it's time consuming and costly.
Please treat your customers fair and with respect.
Incorrect billing poor services that cannot be resolved
I deeply horrified and dissatisfied with the level of service your illiterate consultants have delivered. I have been speaking to different consultants, kept on hold for minutes without biemg assisted. After paying my compact subscription of R400 on the 30th of October I got an error stating that my account is being suspended. I called in explained everything and was reconnected again. On the 3rd of October I upgraded my account to Compact plus and was told that the total amount was going to be billed end of October when my account was in due course. Shockingly a message popped that I need to pay R930. So perplexed, I called in and the consultants are just explaining nonsense and clearly dont understand what's going on. I tried to ask for the someone senior but Sifiso was hesitant to call the manager and told me the the whole floor didn't have someone senior. He kept me holding for more than 10 minutes. Right now a thumb sucked amount of R930 is due on my account which they can't explain. Its ridiculous to upgrade from compact to compact + and be charged double the amount. I'm going to take this matter further till its sorted. I'm so frustrated and have reached the end of my tether will the the poor service dstv has given.
Service disconnected
Pathetic Service, Incompetent management I have been with multichoice for more than 10 years, my services have never been disconnected, I have two decoders that have forever been linked, for the first time my services where disconnected due to nonpayment in August then around Oct I contacted the call center in order to get re-connection I was advised by the call center agent to rather make my payment after my statement closes which will be on the 06th, I made the exact payment that I was given and only one decoder was re-installed and I had to make several call using my airtime and speak to non-remorseful individuals with no consumer care whatsoever, I spoke to a rude individual who just happened to laugh at me, on the 09th I contacted the call center twice and the service was up and running, to my surprise the agent informed me I had not made a payment that's why there was no connection, I informed the agent to listen to the recording since the payment made by myself was given by multichoice themselves, then on the 21 Nov I receive an sms stating YOU HAVE RECENTLY ACTIVATED A NEW DSTV SERVICE BUT WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED A PAYMENT YET PLEASE PAY R345.80, and I immediately contacted the call centre where I was assisted by a very kind agent who informed me that she will escalate the matter to IT in order for the decoders to be re-linked, on the 24 Nov an sms stating We've STOPPED YOUR SERVICES PLEASE PAY R345, I then contacted the call center on the 26 and spoke to one of the most uninteresting agent, who did not even have details of how I should escalate my query, and to top it the team leader that I had asked to speak to REFUSED to come to the line without hearing me the lady by the name SURAK MOTHILIA SIMPLY SAID SHE DOES NOT WANT TO SPEAK WITH ME AND THAT I SHOULD SEND AN EMAIL to the complaints department, this is now someone that has been given a role to calm the client, but she simply refused, I have all the call recordings and can send them through so that you can hear the I don't care attitudes we have in multichoice

Payment arrangement and unethical behavior
The month of September i made arrangement that they change my monthly debit order and make it to the last day of each of every month, come October still the same issue continue and mind due i have to pay for re- connection fee. My explorer decoder got damaged and I went to the walk in center, where I was advised I need to buy a new one. I opted to use an old Pvr. Advised the lady who was assisting to cancel the explorer and active the Pvr as it has happened before that I was billed twice by multichoice. I phoned the call centre for some assistance a week later when I was struggling to connect the Pvr. Was shocked when I heard my balance, I'm Being billed twice. Spoke to a consultant and asked the to fix this. Wasn't done
I got a shock of my life when a debit order for R2274 went off on my account. I called again, was told it's fixed. That I should just pay my normal subscription and reverse the debit order. When I checked my profile this morning
I'm still being billed twice. This is completely unacceptable
Extremely poor service and no complaints contact
It is now 21 phone calls to 011 x 289 2222 and NO Progress. Two weeks ago I took out a price fix contract as my previous contract expired. My new decoder is unable to download catch up automatically and I have to use my wi-fi. Nobody can assist me. Each of the calls they tell you a different story of how to fix it. All they can tell me is that I am going to pay double for the month as me old decoder hasn't been disconnected. Is it not there responsibility to do that if one take out a new contract. I have now also tried to cancel my contract due to the bad, bad service to NO avail. There service is poorer than the worst government department. Please assist.
