Wrong fired and helpa act law volatiled manager discussing my suspended with another employee
I was wrongfully fired and been at Dg for little over two years never had been wrote up or in trouble, and was told that I was suspend for 7 days without pay them it was 12 days total without pay and then fired then my manager at store # 12951 tells one of the other employee's to Tex me and say seeing your are suspended for 7 days Mrs Jan wanted her to text me and see about getting my store keys to use while I was suspended this was a clear violation of my helpa act law and then I was told by our DM Polly I would be eligible to rehire and then I got the full time lead sales associate job in Hartford al and my application says not eligible to rehire I had been on the call back from ERC for almost 10 days now and I know I have 50 different times but not one single call back and this job is the way I and son survived and now power is about to be turn off as well as out water and we are just eating bread right now cause we have nothing left no please we need help if anyone at dollar general that cares I beg you please help! Filthy stores
I have been a faithful dollar general shopper i babe spend at Least 200 to 300 dollars a week for the past 2 years but lately I can’t find a store that has the shopping baskets clean enough to want to put my food in. I go the the Burnsville nc store and I can’t use a basket or buggy i just held what I needed I complains the lady looked wt me like I was stupid. Gallon of whole milk
My fiance went to our local dollar general store on 5/1/23 & purchased me a gallon of whole milk & cereal..Upon pouring the milk over my cereal I realize there's milk collaborating around the lid,the date on the milk was 5/7,it was too late to take back last nite so he takes it back tonite 5/2/2022,he gets home I again begin to pour the milk & again it's soured.Im only complaining about these specific 2 occasions but this makes approximately 5 times we have gotten sour milk..I want to be reimbursed for the milk & my cereal that got wasted bc of this milk.this dollar general is conveniently located near my home so I would love to see this problem fixed.

Assistant manager: Melissa
My daughter was asking for assistance from a new employee to load money onto a Chime card. The new employee was unable to help her so the assistant manager came to assist. She asked my daughter for the scan barcode and my daughter told her it was the yellow scan card at the register. The assistant manager then told my daughter not to speak to her 'like she was stupid'. My daughter stated she was just telling her the code was on the yellow card at the register. The manager then loudly and wrongly accused my daughter of being intoxicated. My daughter said 'excuse me?' Needless to say we left the store very upset and embarrassed.
Desired outcome: Employee education on acceptable interaction with customers. Sufficient staffing to prevent the stress levels induced by being the manager, stocker, orientor and the only general employee on shift.

All I can say is never get hurt at Dollar General! They do not care about you. They take their time on everything! They put you through an emotional rollercoaster during the healing process. They want you at your lowest of lows. They make you live on fate. I’ve never worked for a company with such disheartening behavior and people. They have so much money but are so greedy. My life has changed forever because of them! And for the bad. I went from a very active person to one in constant pain with movement because of two falls while working. Because of what they are putting me through other employees who got hurt are afraid to report it because they need to have an income. I purchased some Pokemon Tins from Dollar General. The back of the tins say 2019 on them. This meaning the card packs inside should be 2019 packs. But inside are newer packs that aren't even made in 2019. So my question would be.. Who are the distributors that you are getting your Pokemon from? Hi, I live right behind DG store # 16919. The store is nice, but the fence between our properties is not. Whenever there are high winds, the fence falls over. This happens frequently. I have mentioned this to every manager who has worked there, but nothing gets done.
My brother has attempted to repair the fence, but his attempts are futile. The main complaint I have is that DG trash and cardboard keeps blowing into my yard and driveway. The bayou is just yards away, and the plastic bags blow there and kill the fish.
Can somebody please fix the fence? Please? Pretty please?

My name is Monica white I was a store manager at 13843 Detroit Michigan, I feel I was wrongfully terminated, they said we had blocked the back door a month ago an that corporate was 3 weeks behind on looking at the backdoors, I told her that wasn't my fault I have complied with everything you have asked me to. I pulled up the cameras an showed my DM she said "they said it was freight" I explained to her to look at it gave different times of the day an showed her it wasn't blocked. I was emplyed at Dollar General store #9619, I told my manager that I had transportation problems and I told her to take me off the schedule. Then got transportation and the day I was suppose to go back this was April 17,2023, my mother had a heart attack, so she too me off the schedule again. I texted her today April 21,2023 and ask to be put back on the schedule and she put me on the schedule for May 3,2023. Then the next 10 minutes she took me off completely, saying that I was not eligible for rehire. I think and I know why because I ask for a transfer to another Dollar General which is close to me hometown. I don't think it was far to me.

I have been trying for the last 2 months to have my account accepted to receive digital coupons. you accept my email as an account already established, but will not accept ANY password I use or let me change password. unclean grocery section and restrooms
I visit one of the Dollar General Store in Sumter on April 17,2023. I like to bring your attention to the dollar general on St Paul Church Rd, Sumter SC. The store needs mayor cleaning the shelves are really dusty in the food section of the store, and the restrooms had dookie and pee all over the floors, and the freezers smell horrible like spoil milk and the milks always leaking and expired foods. That store needs a health inspector check!
I told the workers about it. All they done was complain about who going to clean the mess up o one wanted to clean it.

Truck driver
Today is April 18th and I just followed a driver for dollar general. Trailer number 59030.. My trip normally takes me 40 mins however today it tool me an hour and a half. The driver went 5 mph in a 25 mph zone then proceeded to go 25 in a 45 then 35 in a 55 mph zone. 😳 He was all over the road. I believe that being cautious is a good thing HOWEVER, this was crazy...
