Store # 542, Lockport, NY 14094, Transit Rd. Rug smells and us so dirty its rotting away, this rug is spreading disease especially when its damp people are tracking that filth into their homes. The bathrooms are always unstocked and filthy with feces on toilet, hand soap is diluted with water. I gave just today filed a formal complaint with the local Health Department.
lack of merchandise in local store
I live in Miami, Oklahoma, and enjoy shopping at Dollar Tree. However, the last few times I've gone into the store, the amount of merchandise available has significantly decreased to the point that I've asked if the store is closing. Shelves are increasingly bare. Health and beauty aisles have large areas with only shelving showing. Cleaning products are limited as well.
I have to wonder if there is a correlation between the decreasing amount of stock and the decreased number of employees I see each time I'm in the store. It's impossible for one or two people to man the registers AND stock the shelves.
I didn't ask to look in the back to see if merchandise is accumulating there, but I have to wonder if that's a possibility. Each time I inquire about the lack of items on the shelves, I'm told, "A truck will be in __________." That excuse worked once! When I go in on that day or the day after it, there is less merchandise available than on the day I inquired.
A lack of stockers and a lack of available merchandise for sale go hand in hand, and that problem falls squarely on corporate's shoulders! What are you going to do to make this a viable store again? It was wonderful until the original manager retired a couple of years ago. The last manager had been doing a great job, but I'm not sure he's still there. At least he and I haven't been there at the same time for the last couple of weeks, and I've been in three separate times during that time frame.
You no longer have Salon Selective Hair Mousse or a tile and shower spray. Both of those products are things that I bought with regularity and are the best of their kind for me and my house. I have to wonder each time I'm in what else will no longer be available.
Please correct these problems asap!
Thank you,
Pat Bridgewater

manager amber at 581 second st, manchester nh
I witnessed your manager at Dollar Tree at 581 Second St, Manchester, New Hampshire making a drug deal for the second time today (the other time was right in her store at the front checkout . As of now, I will make it viral and nobody will ever go to that store again. Drug test her without warning IMMEDIATELY as they make substances now to cover up the drugs. But I did see her in an illicit drug deal. I also must complain about her disgusting attitude. BOTH times I went in she gave me serious attitude and made derogatory comments about my attire because I am very pretty. She is a wretched human and should NOT be employed with you. Fire her or the store and Amber are going viral. She makes your corporation look so very bad. Thanks! Hope you actually do something about illegal and derogatory activity.
not enough cashiers
To whom it may concern I was in the 200 People Plaza Ste B, Newark Delaware 19702 today and I was in line with at least 20 people and they only had one cashier working. I complained to the manager she said she could'nt open another register...why is that? More people came in so the line got longer so more customers started complaining so the manager finally opened up another register which she should have done earlier when others besides myself ask her to do so. Another man came in and said the same thing happened Friday. Allot of people walked out so that means your losing money. My husband said while he waited for me 3 people said something to him about how bad the line was. I do allot of shopping at DT because I'm a crafter but if things dont change in this store I will go to another DT or pay the difference and go to a regular craft store where I don't have to wait in long lines. I may pay more but its worth getting in and getting out in a reasonable amount of time. Get more cashiers at this store or you've lost a customer that spends allot of money every week. Enough of us like me leaving will put you out of business within a very short period of time. The stores need to get more mesh in for wreaths as well I havent seen mesh since Easter

I was in this store today 6/23/2019 . got in line, at 12:10. 3 lanes were open all 3 were lined up with at 10 people. At that moment the mgr closed 2 lines. Now all these customers had to move to the one line. By the time I was finally checked out it was 1:00. The mgr. was so rude. Everyone was complaining. I will not go to this dollar tree again. Other customer said it always this way. Horrible service I really hope you look into this matter.

2900 colorado ave joliet il
Today, 06/23/19 at around noon my wife and I were in the Dollar Tree store located at 2900 Colorado Ave, Joliet, IL 60431. We had both been in this store multiple times over the past few years. This was the first time I experienced any problem at this location (and the last).
I had to use the restroom. Since I had been in the location before (and used the restroom) I knew exactly where the washroom was located and I proceeded to it. Upon arrival I found the door to be locked. I hung around some assuming the room was occupied. After a few minutes of not hearing any activity in the room I went to go find an employee; assuming (like some gas stations of old) I needed to secure a key from an employee to gain access.
I did find an employee who advised "we don't have a public bathroom." I responded by asking what the room was in the back corner of the store with the sign that said "Men" on it? She advised that since "some people abuse" the bathroom it's not open to the public.
Mind you, there is no sign indicting no public restroom. Not on or near the bathroom door. Not on the front door of the establishment. Nowhere. Quite the contrary; the signage present says "Men" and it contains the universal graphic for restroom.
The original employee said I could "ask the manager" if I wanted and pointed her out to me. I began walking towards her as she asked if I could be helped. I advised her I needed to use the restroom.
Side note: As a fully grown 58-year-old man, there is no way I should have to get not one, but TWO (female) employees involved in my bathroom needs. Not the least bit humiliating or anything.
In any event, the manager repeated what the original employee said; "We don't allow the public to use the restroom. Some people have abused it." She went on to say, "I'll let you use it this time but please remember this the next time you come." (An astonishingly presumptive statement on her part.)
I replied that I do not believe the refusal of bathroom services is lawful and it's certainly not within any kind of customer service standards. She informed me that the law does allow her to close the restroom because it's "not a restaurant and we don't serve food." I replied that it's a publicly-accessible establishment and it's my belief the policy is unlawful. I started to tell her she's within her rights to control access to the bathroom but not disallow everyone from its use. While speaking she cut me off and said, "Do you want to keep arguing with me or have me open this door?" (By this time, we were standing by the restroom door.) This was clearly her way of telling me to shut-up. I turned around and walked away; declaring to her that her store was "a [censored]hole." (I was quite angry) My wife and I finished our purchases and we left.
The whole experience was humiliating and infuriating. The fact that this store may be experiencing bathroom "abuse" is not my problem. It wasn't my problem then and it's not my problem now. The fact that I had to even ask permission to use the bathroom in a public place where my wife and I were actively shopping is preposterous. It goes without saying we'll never visit this store again.
My wife is an avid Dollar Tree shopper and fan. She shops consistently at dozens of Dollar Tree stores in the Midwest and beyond. She's an active member of lots of online Dollar Tree fan communities including Facebook and YouTube. I can assure you this write-up will be shared online within those communities.
The next time I drive past the Dollar Tree at 2900 Colorado Ave, Joliet, IL I truly hope to find it a ghost town.
customer service/ an employee
Hi I've had recently visited the dollar tree approximately around 9:30 PM and I was doing some shopping and about 9:40 PM A cashier came over the loud speaker and said attention dollar tree customers the time is 9:40 and the store will be closing in 20 minutes, make ur finally selection and head to the register, tacky but I get it, it a good reminder of...

At the Clifton NJ store at 6PM the manger was using using 2 shopping carts to stock shelves at 2 different locations in the store when all carts were being used. When I asked for one, she refused saying "the carts are for employees, too!" I wouldn't mind but I buy more merchandise than the hand held baskets can accommodate. You should school your employees on when to use any shopping carts (not during peak times) and being of service to customers.
poor customer service
I was in lane 2 next to get rung up when the lady said she was closing. I was sent to lane 3 when lane 2 reopened. I asked her if it was next in line she responded that they don't do that and laughed. I told her you just sent me away not even 3 minutes ago. She than said you have to wait there i already called people over. Once I was finished getting rung...

I have been at Store #2609 for almost two years now and I am always on time for work and I stay later when someone is late for their shift. If the lines get a little long I get yelled at to help but when I have a long line no one helps me with it and when I sweep the store when it gets dirty or I clean the register's I get in trouble for cleaning when I get no other assignment to do.

Additional Comment:
There is garbage all over the parking lot of your store. I live fairly close by and it is starting to be an eyesore. Recent road construction and improvements to this area make it imperative that you take care of you landscape and trash. Please let me know what actions you will take to improve this situation. I recommend daily trash pickup, better trashcan, landscaping maintenance.

employee service
I was going into the Dollar Tree (there was an employee on break smoking in front of the store - I don't care they work for minimum wage). I mention this because she was a witness and she's worked there for a long time. But there was a red shopping cart that looked like it could roll away so I thought I would be helpful and take it in. The employee outside didn't say anything, but the employee inside angrily scolded me for bringing in the cart (I didn't realize it belonged to the grocery store down the way). What would it hurt to rather assume I was doing something wrong, and simply inform me in a polite way. I have only once ever complained about an employee from any store, but this just rubbed me the wrong way. It happened tonight at the South Williamsport, PA store and an older man, balding, with glasses was the employee.
returns
Hello, thank you for your time. Today I made a sizable purchase for a class party. Unfortunately the party started late due to inclimant weather and we were not able to use the items for the party. Because the outdoors portion of the party was canceled, the school will not reimburse me and school is ending so no rescheduling. They played and colored in the classroom. Although I originally did not plan to return said items, I did not imagine there would be an issue.
It would mean so much to me and my family if I could receive a refund. I literally tried to return the items within 4/5 hours. All untouched. I asked for a store credit was told I couldn't do that either. We shop at the Dollar Tree often and have been loyal customers.
Please help me. I would be beyond grateful.
Thank you,
Jamie Topoleski

manager at brooklyn mi store
As I was walking toward the store door the manager came out to inform me my dog (3lb) which we were carrying in our arms was not allowed in the store. There is no signs on the store front that says no dogs allowed. The manager was very rude as we explained that we have never had a problem anywhere we take our dog ( Dollar General, Walmart, Meijer) the manager would not listen to me and turned his back and walked away.
store in general
Store # 7093, 500 Tillman St, Memphis, TN
This is perhaps the worst Dollar Tree I've been in. The store itself is just a general mess with merchandise scattered about, empty shelves, and employees that are loud and obnoxious with poor customer interaction.
I will still go to Dollar Tree but never again at this location. Check it out, compare your stores and fix your issues.
Thanks

Read full review of Dollar Treestore and parking lot maintenance
This pertains to a brand new Dollartree location at 5811 Prosperity Church Rd, Charlotte, NC 28269-1128, Store number 7703.
This is a new location in a middle class neighborhood. The businesses in the area maintain a high standard of maintenance in and out of their respective properties. A recent visit to the above mentioned store revealed a filthy floor any many displaced items. In addition, the parking lot was covered with debris and food wrappers.
Since this a brand new location (less than a year old), I can only imagine how bad it might become if these issues are not remedied immediately. I hope that this notice will be forwarded to the proper department so the these maintenance issues can be addressed ASAP.
condition of store
One of the two stores in Spring Hill TN is open, but has had no lights all weekend and today. No one has come out to service the problem. What is going on? I shopped, but I can't see much! And two weeks ago the the store did not open until noon, as no manager showed up (employees did) to open the doors. Again, what is going on with the management of this store? Please respond.

And here's another store that used to be stellar, but had numerous empty shelves and all the items mixed up throughout the store when we visited on Saturday, June 15. I never have seen such a messed up store. What is going on with Dollar Tree in this region? Please look into this and let me know what is up. I have shopped there for 16 years and never seen such a mess, lack of product, and items just mixed up all over.
